晩夏の午後

SIGMA DP1x

ひょんな事からDP1xを手に入れた。7年前に発売されたカメラだ。SIGMAのカメラに関してはDP2 Merrill(売却)→DP3 Merrill(所持)→SD15(売却)→DP0 Quattro(所持)と購入して来て、今回二世代前のセンサーに逆戻りした形となった。同じセンサーを搭載したSD15を気に入っていたのだけど、当時他のカメラに浮気してしまい売却してしまった。その事を時々後悔していたことや、DP1xの当時の評価が高かく一度使ってみたという思いがあったこと、また気兼ねなく持ち歩けるコンパクトカメラが欲しかったこと等々前提があり、そこにたまたまヤフオクに程度が良く安価な中古が出品されていたことが決め手となって、手元に来た次第。実際使ってみて、当時評価が高かった理由がよくわかった。色々詰めの甘さを感じる部分はあるものの、このコンパクトなカメラでこの画質を7年前に叩き出していたというのが凄い。現行のDPも良いのだけど、是非次のDPシリーズはDP1x世代と同程度コンパクトなカメラにして欲しい。しっかし、この世代のセンサーは良いなと改めて思う。MerrillやQuattroに比べて画がスッキリしていて素直だ。現像もし易い。SD15を買い戻したくなってきてしまって危険。
