Inquisitor all odd numbers Because I'm a bitch

Maxwell “not this guy again” Trevelyan

1: What do they look like? Does this reflect their personality?

He’s got the good looks of noble blood, which he camouflages with tanned skin and long hair from days spent avoiding said noble duties.  It helps with Max’s most refined ability: being able to blend with any crowd.

3: What were their aspirations before the events of the Conclave?

Running away screaming from his responsibilities to his family name and the Chantry.  He had been working with a group of mercenaries before being called to the Conclave.

5: Which of their Companions do they relate to most?

Cassandra, though Maxwell would say he considers her a much better person than him.  Also much more responsible, and arguably a better leader.  (Seriously, I’m only here to keep you’re seat warm.  Whenever you want to take over.)

7: Who did they romance? How did that romance change the development of their character?

Dorian, Maker rest his Great Aunt’s soul if she were to find out.  Not about him being a man, the Trevelyan’s accepted years ago that Maxwell had a different interest, but the whole mage thing.  Their involvement forced Maxwell to question his thought on mages and the circles, two things he never gave much thought.

9: Are they devout, unsure, or disbelieving? A mix of all three?

Maxwell rarely speaks about his own beliefs but he is devout, if unsure.  He wasn’t raised to doubt, but spending time with people of other faith has given him plenty of reason to rethink exactly what he believes.

11: Who did they side with during the events of Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts? Why?

In Maxwell’s humble opinion, the Orlesian Empire is a complete mess that he wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole.  That being said he feels that Celene is the lesser of two evils, especially with Briala around.

13: Did they side with the mages or templars? Why? 

The Inquisition sided with the mages, but to Maxwell’s credit it was a bit more complicated than that: he had already aligned with Warden-Commander Nyx’a.  While Maxwell went for the mages, Nyx’a tried for the templars.  It was a good plan, and it would have been even better if it had worked.

15: Which part of the storyline affected them most? Why?

In Your Heart Shall Burn Maxwell was probably living in a small town called Denial.  A part of him thought that closing the rift meant going back to his life of avoiding his responsibilities.  The truth, as he saw it, was that it was his duty to protect people and his failure was a staggering weight.

17: Why did they take up the title of Inquisitor? Because they had to or because they wanted to?

Had to.  At least, that was what he would say.  Maxwell has always been good at disappearing, so it’s likely he could have walked away, if he had really wanted to.

19: How does your Inquisitor differ from your Warden? Your Hawke? Are there any characteristics all three share?

On the outside Maxwell is a giant man child running from his responsibilities, the exact opposite of the Hero Fereldan or the Champion of Kirkwall.  (Except Hawke is also a giant man child running away from his responsibilities, at least in the beginning).  But they are each born leaders, compassionate and fair in their own ways.

21: How did they decorate Skyhold? What does their throne look like?

A Free Marcher, through and through, Skyhold would be decorated in the same way under Maxwell’s care.  But he gets a kick out of the confusion a Chasind throne can illicit.

23: Do they side more often with Leliana, Josephine, or Cullen? Why?

Maxwell prefers Josephine’s behind the scenes approach, because it a) keeps being from being murdered unnecessarily and b) usually keeps the Inquisition from being branded as ruthless thugs willing to do anything.

25: Did they observe the rituals in the Temple of Mythal? Why or why not?

After everything Maxwell has had the pleasure of seeing, pissing off an ancient elven god isn’t high up on his to-do list.  They complete the elven rituals (If I hear one more complain, so help me Maker I’ll turn this Inquisition around), and Maxwell decides the elves religious practices are much more interesting than the Chantry’s.

domestic meme: sanzo / adelaide

favorite non-sexual activity going for rides(you could put video games in this same little corner, but they can get so competitive it’s not really a favorite activity).  They like to just get on Addy’s bike and just go: where they end up or when they come back isn’t the point. who uses all the hot water addy but most of the time they just share.  most trivial thing they fight over considering they fight over just about everything, doors: Sanzo always closes doors for no special reason, and Addy keeps them open because she psyches herself up thinking about what's on the other side. who does the most of the cleaning sanzo, not for lack of trying on addy’s part.  It’s technically her apartment, and Addy cleans like a woman possessed when the mood strikes her.  Sanzo, despite outward appearances, likes to have some order to the chaos of the bookstore spreading to their living space from downstairs.   who controls the netflix queue addy, it is her netflix.  She likes to put on the same handful of shows on when she’s home alone, and Sanzo doesn’t care enough to add things to the queue if he won’t watch it right then and there. who steals the blankets addy, if she feels like being a cocoon for the night.  Mostly Addy likes to be as close to Sanzo as she can when she sleeps, and by that point the sheets are more a formality than necessary. who leaves their stuff around both.  Addy has books literally everywhere with some stacks acting like furniture.  Sanzo only ever seems to forget to throw away his cigarette cartons, which Addy will never understand since it just means he’ll forget to buy more packs later. who remembers the milk sanzo.  Addy isn’t allowed to have anything to do with the kitchen or any of it’s inner workings.  who remembers anniversaries sanzo, but, again, not for lack of trying.  Addy can’t seem to remember anything about her own life, and constantly gets days mixed up in her own mind.  Sanzo just lets Addy think whatever she wants, which is usually that Sanzo has forgotten, until a few days later on their actual anniversary when he does whatever he’s been planning for the last month. who cooks normally sanzo: addy’s not allowed in the kitchen except to do dishes. how often do they fight all the time, about the stupidest of things.  Goyjo thinks its so they can have make up sex, which isn’t true just a pleasant side effect.  Sanzo is the only person who can help Addy keep her abilities in check, but they can also communicate in a way that makes them understand each other much more intimately than just from having a conversation.  Their dynamic of blunt honesty is more to defuse than actual verbal combat. what do they do when they’re away from each other they don’t usually spend a lot of time away from each other, but the two are surprisingly okay with going without for extended periods of time without much consequence.  Neither is overly fond of texting or phone conversations, so most of their communication is sparse and mostly to let the other know they’re still breathing.  However, Sanzo is apparently more unbearable the longer he’s away from Addy. nicknames for each they don’t really use nicknames, at least not the cutesy kind.  Grandpa and Granny, respectively, when they’re arguing in front of friends.  Sometimes Addy will refer to Sanzo as Priest, but this bothers the hell out of him is only a small thing. what would they get each other for gifts they keep it simple: addy loves fresh flowers, and sanzo loves his smokes. who kissed who first sanzo kissed addy.  Before they started dating, when their attraction for one another started to rear it’s head.  Addy didn’t have a very good handle on her powers, so physical contact with someone else was an overwhelming experience.  Sanzo didn’t have this problem, and this was just another way he showed her that control was possible for her. who made the first move the kiss was technically sanzo’s first move, but addy was the one who took it a step further.  They went out frequently, on little field trips to try and get Addy used to blocking out all the stimulus around her, but all physical contact initiated by Sanzo was premeditated with Addy’s permission to give her time to prepare.  Addy just didn’t go the same to Sanzo. who started the relationship goku, technically.  They had been together for a while, but Goku was the one who looked at his friend and told him he was being a fucking baby and needed to make it official before she finds someone who actually deserves her. who cusses more sanzo, but addy gives him a run for his money when she’s really angry.  Sanzo just happens to curse in everyday speech. what would they do if the other was hurt addy literally can’t imagine her life without sanzo at this point.  He may be an asshole, but he’s Addy’s asshole.  Sanzo shows he’s in the same boat when Addy’s sick: her abilities go all out of whack, and he absolutely won’t leave her side until he thinks she’s stable enough.

What about stories from your port Orleans days? We all had some interesting and unexpected encounters with guests.

All the ones that I can think of require background set up about the way things work at Disney or the punchline is the guest saying something dumb, rather than a nice beginning-middle-end story. I made up something about losing my phone and some nice person finding it and contacting me and when we met up she was really nice and instead of losing my phone, I found a friend!

Because they have this worksheet that's like "What happened? How did you feel? What did you think would happen next? What actually happened?" 

Sadly, it's hard to fit "This guy wanted three feet of rope because he was too cheap to buy a belt for his kid" into that format.
