So I have been following the Silmaril daughters AU (by @ibrithir-was-here), so I wanted to draw my takes on their designs! Took a few little creative liberties with the costuming based on their eventual fates/themes. Anyway, I adore the concept very much and could not resist doing a drawing of the girls!

Feanor who’s guarding three babies that no one is quite sure he should have made is even more paranoid then regular Feanor, and sadly probably easier to manipulate 😰

I like that the silm babies turn back into gems, but consider this: the nauglamir as one of those baby carrier things

Maybe Melkor's crown is just three high chairs tied together

Maglor literally yeets a child into the sea

I loved all of these (but the Maglor one made me too sad so you get soft beach day instead x)

Luthien is the flashiest foster mom ever, and Morgoth hasn’t had a moments peace since he escaped Aman.

Quick question! do the triplets grow up? how'd they look like as adults?

When they’re not in Silmaril form then yes they do! I decided to draw them out in their adult forms for the different AU endings where they aren’t all stuck in dormant, so we’ve got Narewen raised by the dwarves of Erebor( and possibly becoming queen of Dale), Eabariel as a traveling minstrel, wandering the coast with Maglor ( he teaches her but can’t really play anymore himself due to his burned hands :( And Tellumaien in sailing gear wandering the skies with Earendil

Mairon’s discovered a lot of surprises since falling for Maedhros but this is definitely in the top five.

So what if, in an au of the Silm babies, Mags doesn’t throw the stone away and ends up raising her as he’s a sad hermit?

I am 100% down for sad hermit big brother Maglor raising Eabariel as they wander around Arda, except my brain had to make it angsty that it still hurts him if she directly touches him, so it’s like a bittersweet platonic Pushing Up Daisies scenario. But the whole thing would be about familial love enduring thru their respective traumas and how they’re both able to find some peace with each other after all they’ve been thru.
