I know Tolkien never explicitly stated that Galadriel came two inches from blasting the Misty Mountains into rubble in the effort to rescue Celebrían but he implied it with every word and sentence he ever wrote about her so 🤷‍♀️

Not featured: Elladan and Elrohir bringing up the rear killing masses of orcs and goblins in their wake

Having jewels in his hair is just my headcanon, I like to think these were gave to him by Aule when he once was uncorrupted, but the more time passed they darkened, and after Melkor was defeated they were no more than dull dark stones

The May Window

Miriel and baby Fёanor. The way they were before they parted or if they never had. Disclaimer: lilies of the valley are NOT poisonous in Valinor Probably, no plants are. The idea of this scene came to me when I noticed that lilies of the valley are ready to bloom this late spring-summer and I started thinking about seasonal flowers in the paradise of Valinor. Would they bloom all at once? Were there different seasons? If not, I thought that people could have had small gardens for there favorite flowers only. its probably my favourite feanorian who i should draw more, Caranthir! 

I decided to add some gold patterns to his clothes because i think it helps show how he’s the wealthy money man brother, and i thought it just looked cool. I also imagine he sewed the patterns into his clothes himself!

Also, I just see this guy having the absolute worst case of resting bitch face. No matter what, he always looks grumpy and intimidating, and that can scare people away from him. He doesn’t mind though, sometimes he prefers being left alone. I also see him as a surprisingly emotional guy, which often results in him appearing to be the most hot headed of his brothers. Despite this, however, he can be very reasonably and logical. 

Other headcanons are that, while he can be charismatic and good at making allies, he can also just be really socially awkward and get flustered quickly, though this depends on the social situation. When it comes to more formal, business type stuff, he’s stoic, to the point, gets what he wants (but it’s all an act he’s freaking out internally), otherwise he can be awkward and just prefers being on his own. Though unfortunately his awkwardness can often come across as him being rude or blunt, as he’s mostly just trying to escape most social situations as quickly as possible. 

My partner headcanons that Caranthir is good at cooking, and I agree. But he refuses to cook for his brothers. 

Anyway I love this guy and don’t know what else to say.
