My response is way too long to put in comments..

They’re good deities, I’m gonna share abit more information about them than probably needed just to help spark ideas, I’ll give the small bit of information that I have

They are created from stardust

They’re both deities that use their magic through potions

They’ll create potions that will help their followers/worshippers with what they ask

They both work around self love

Leonardo’s being physical, people look for guidance with confidence, appearance, strength, stuff like that

Donatello’s being mental, people looking for guidance to find their true selves, inner beauty, helping with fears, idk I still need ideas for Donnie, I have more work done on Leo

They typically try to help people figure stuff out on their own, only using the potions to give them a little push, not wanting to give them something fake (False confidence and stuff, yk, idk how to explain)

One idea I’ve had that could help with plot but not much was that Leo struggles with self confidence himself and uses the potions on himself, Donnie doesn’t like him doing that because he believes too much false confidence could be dangerous and make things worse

Please help I need ideas 🙏

Mojo's comments: Such little fat-cheeked cuties asdflkhjkadsk! Lan Qiren is protective and good, widdle lwj finds a special forever-friend who positively glows, and canon is thus nudged in a softer, gentler direction. And just to keep you alert and on your toes, Author sprinkles a few knives throughout, to make the fluff sweeter by contrast. The cutest part is that bitty wwx immediately dubs lwj his string-ge and I am dying from the cute.

following up on Bruce finding a ten-year-old on his doorstep… Damian gets to have a proper visit with the step-clown.

.sweetie.

It was surreal to walk through the low security areas of Arkham for a change. Orderlies and nurses greatly outnumbered guards; people were smiling; windows showed sunshine and blue skies. It was an actual place of healing.

Damian watched everything, serious and observant. Probably assessing threats and strategizing how to kill or subdue everyone they passed, which was a depressing thought (mostly because Bruce was doing the same).

Their escort was a sweet-faced nurse with a definite grandmotherly vibe. Was it a reward for good behavior? Or some attempt at pacification?

She knocked on a locked door. “Joker, dear? Mr. Wayne is here to see you.” She unlocked the door and gestured for them to enter.

Bruce stepped into the doorway.

“The rooms are visually monitored for everyone’s safety, but we don’t record audio, so at least you’ll have a little privacy. If you need me, I’ll be at the nurse’s station; just follow the signs.”

Joker was huddled in the far corner, back to the room.

When the nurse was gone, Bruce nudged Damian into the room and shut the door behind them.

He took a slow breath, careful not to change anything about his posture but putting authority into his voice. “Why are you hiding from me, princess?”

Joker’s head jerked up, but he didn’t turn. “Are you real? They started giving me an antidepressant, and it plays funny with my antipsychs.”

“I’m real. Hallucination-Batsy is on vacation.”

There was a brief giggle. He turned—he looked tired, like the new drugs had disrupted his sleep. When his eyes landed on Damian, they widened. “Oh!” he exclaimed, and crawled across the floor to sit at their feet. “Oh, you’re real, too!” He laughed and clapped his hands with glee.

Damian just tilted his head and watched.

“Look at you: you’re perfect. A baby Batsy. Hello, sweetie.”

“Hello,” said Damian.

“Daddy brings me the best presents,” Joker declared, beaming.

“He’s not a pet, Jay,” Bruce warned.

The clown scoffed at him and covered a pout with his smiling left hand. “Of course he isn’t. Saw that news report in the lunch room—he bites back. How old are you, sweetie?”

“Ten,” Damian replied.

“Ten years old and you got a guy with his own knife! Very well done.”

Damian frowned. “That’s awfully patr—you’re being serious.”

“Of course I am, bubby. Mommy’s very proud of you. Shows dedication and good sense, if ya ask me. Daddy disagrees, which is a skosh hypocritical, but we all have our foibles.”

For several seconds, Damian seemed too taken aback to decide what to say next. Eventually, he said, “I started school this week. Would you…like to hear about it?”

“I’d love to,” said Joker, patting the floor. “Sit with me. Floor time is good for you.”

So they sat together (well, Bruce sat in the chair next to the slightly rickety table, in deference to his suit and the ribs he’d bruised taking down some juiced-up junkies the night before) and talked, and it was like a book falling open in front of a voracious reader—Damian became energetic and animated as Joker agreed or encouraged, and Bruce was faintly worried about just how well they were getting along.

But it was warm, and somehow nostalgic, and so very lovely. A child of his own, getting the kind of positive reinforcement Alfred hadn’t quite known Bruce needed at a similar age. Bruce saw so much of himself in Damian…socially distant, intelligent, curious, angry about something but hiding that anger well. And either Joker was playing the kid like a fiddle, or he really did love those difficult personality traits.

It was hard to believe, but Bruce had spent two decades slowly discovering that it was true.

A hand touched his knee. “Don’t fall asleep. You’ll have a sore neck.”

Bruce blinked away his sudden drowsiness and covered Joker’s hand with his own. “Sorry. What were we saying?”

Joker smiled up at him from the floor. “You guys should go get some dinner. Growing boys need a lot of calories, y’know. I’m not going anywhere.”

Bruce nodded. “Do you know how long they’re keeping you this time?”

“Six months, minimum. Nice change from the whole two-to-five-years-before-review thing.”

“You see? It pays to be well-behaved after Batman calls you ‘a big help.’”

Joker hopped up and held his arms wide. “Hug!” he demanded.

“Yeah, yeah,” Bruce said, rolling his neck a little before he got up. Joker was steady and solid under his hands, not even fidgeting (more drug interactions?). “Ugh, the shampoo here smells all wrong…”

“That’s ‘cause you’re a snob, darling.”

“Yeah, well…jasmine and sandalwood are better smells for you. This shit clashes with your Chanel.”

With a little snicker, Joker kissed his cheek and stepped back. Then he looked at Damian and opened his arms again. “You want a hug, too? You don’t have to if—”

Damian interrupted him by seizing him firmly around the middle.

Very, very slowly, Joker put one hand on Damian’s back and the other on the top of his head. “I’ll see you next week, sweetie.”

at the age of 45, I am the proud possessor of an Associate in Arts! I'm on my way to get the full bachelor's starting next fall. If you think you're too old? Stuff that in somebody's ear and get out there! It's thrilling and it's scary and it's wonderful. Your age really is just a number; yes, there might be more challenges to juggle, and I won't say that there weren't, cause there were. My friends heard me bellyache my way through two semesters, in fact. But it is worth it, especially if there's someone who said you couldn't. Or if there's someone who believed you could. ( @silvarbelle @mummyholmesisupset especially, but also all the rest of you guys who liked my whiny “i can’t do this, I hate biology/sociology/history/whatever, i despise blackboard, why do I have to do this shit?” posts and gave me the courage to rock on.)

Hi-hi! I'm not ready for whumps to be over just yet. How about... Wei Wuxian, post-resurrection, has been attacked in Cloud Recesses. Someone quite literally stabbed him in the back. He's not dead! He's found in time and saved. What happens next?

Lan Wangji sat in the pose of meditation next to his husband’s unconscious body, but did not meditate.

He probably should – it would help calm him – but he could not.

Not when someone had – at the Cloud Recesses –

Lan Wangji regulated his breathing.

“We will find out who did this,” his uncle had vowed to him, face black with offense. He had not liked Lan Wangji’s marriage, although he had formally given his approval on the basis of not wanting to fight against Lan stubbornness in romantic matters, but he had softened a little towards Wei Wuxian over time. Lan Qiren had always appreciated gifted thinkers and a good conversation, and if they would never agree on the subject of demonic cultivation then at least they could talk about musical cultivation from sunrise to sunset.

He had been just as horrified as anyone else when they had found Wei Wuxian lying there, with –

Lan Wangji unclenched his fists. It was difficult, and required significant willpower.

They had found Wei Wuxian in time, after all. He still lived.

Barely.

The doctors had been summoned at once, and Lan Wangji had transferred spiritual energy to him, his uncle by his side to strengthen him; with some effort they had transported him back to the jingshi to rest and recover. All the doctors agreed that his prognosis was good – that he would recover, and soon.

There was no more that could be done in regards to help. Nothing of substance, nothing else...

Lan Wangji could do nothing but wait.

Wait – and rage.

It was, in some ways, a good thing that whoever had stabbed Wei Wuxian in the back had done so in the Cloud Recesses; there were doctors and medicine and healing arts aplenty. But in other ways it was all the more unforgivable.

This was their home.

Who would dare?

Lan Xichen had closed the gates, someone had told him, and the surprise of hearing that his brother had broken his seclusion for this had managed to penetrate even through the paralysis of his anger. Lan Xichen would not let anyone enter and no one leave until they had figured out who had laid a hand on Wei Wuxian – and no matter who it was, it would hurt.

Would it be one of the juniors that Wei Wuxian tutored? One of the elders that Lan Wangji had spent a lifetime revering? One of Lan Wangji’s peers, those who had fought alongside him in the war and knew how strongly he felt, how much he’d suffered, over losing Wei Wuxian the first time?

He hoped it was a stranger.

He knew it wouldn’t be.

At least Wei Wuxian lived, he reminded himself. At least he had not lost everything.

And yet…hadn’t he?

Could they really stay here, where Wei Wuxian’s safety had been violated? Wouldn’t Lan Wangji have to leave his home to find somewhere new?

And yet, he didn’t want to leave – why should he leave?

It was them. The mysterious perpetrator. They were the ones who had to go.

Them, and anyone who had aided them.

“Mm…Lan Zhan?”

Lan Wangji put his hand into Wei Wuxian’s. His fingers were trembling.

“Did I worry you?” Wei Wuxian said, and smiled. “Don’t worry, Lan Zhan. I’ll be fine.”

He almost hadn’t been.

Still, Lan Wangji made a sound of assent.

Wei Wuxian was fine.

He would continue to be fine – Lan Wangji would make sure of it.

No matter what he had to do to ensure it.

1: XIAN LE TRIO I...sigh, I have so many feelings for them. 800 years. It takes them 800 years to work their problems. And I will always say: Mu Qing and Feng Xin’s rivarly exists because yes they don’t understand each other (due to their different upbringings and mentalities), but it lasted 800 years because they both thought the other betrayed Xie Lian in the crucial moment. They are just so entwined with each other....they were friends, they fought a war, they made mistakes....and 800 years later they start to forgive each other and move on. 2: XIE LIAN & QI RONG & LANG QIANQIU I am bundling this together but it’s really xie lian+qi rong and qi rong+lang qianqiu and xie lian+lang qianqiu. I really wished we had MORE of these three interacting because they are tied in such a weird situation. Qi Rong’s adoration for his cousing turning into hate. Xie Lian’s disdain for Qi Rong turning into pity but he is also his last family member. Lang Qianqiu’s need for revenge that shifts from Xie Lian to Qi Rong when he learns the truth...

3: Shi Wudu & Shi Qingxuan I don’t even know where to start *nervous laugh* Shi Wudu loving his brother enough to deny heaven’s will and steal a fate? Shi Qingxuan still loving his brother after learning what he did and choosing a terrible fate as long as they are both alive? Summary: Someone tried to set up Jiang Wanyin. Wei Wuxian took the fall - and key players took the chance to send him to prison to get too-smart-for-his-own-good Wei Ying out of the way. Thirteen years into his sentence, he's released from prison and disappears. Three years after that: Lan Wangji finds him by chance. Unfortunately, he's brought a fresh round of trouble with him. The two of them have to fix their friendship, fix a sabotaged airplane, and then fix everything else as it happens.

My comments: Starts with a bang, wwx running away and lwj tackling him into an undignified fight that goes all over the yard. There is A Past - a reason why wwx has been away for so long and is no longer a part of the aerial firefighting community, but rather a struggling mechanic and paroled felon.

While wangxian figure themselves out, sabotage and a continuation of a 20-year-old plot come to light. The climax moves fast and involves lqr being a dick, another plot, wwx being stupidly sacrificial, a wildfire and an aerial attack. Exciting stuff!

This time, Bruce convinced Damian to wait by the coat check.

Up on stage, a curly-headed brunette was cooing her way through a Lady Gaga song while the jazz band rehearsed. At the owner’s table, Joker was sampling drinks with Mikey at his side.

“Sorry to interrupt,” Bruce said as he approached. “A word, Jay?”

Joker held up a finger, spat into the glass in his hand with a grimace, and said, “Miley, get that sax in line before I shoot him for making Queenie look bad. And those last two bottles are a definite no. My office, Mr. Wayne.”

Bruce glanced at the jazz band (and the long-suffering, always-misnamed Mikey) as he followed up the stairs.

Joker held the office door, saying, “The key, I find, is to get yourself a cheap brand that tastes expensive.”

When the door was shut, Bruce said, “Damian misses you. He demanded dinner together.”

Joker made a confused face. “What the hell for? Misses me…what the fuck? We live in the same house.”

Bruce heaved a sigh. “You never came home last night, and he was asleep when you got home the night before. He’s gotten very attached. If that’s not okay, say so right now, because he’s only going to get worse.”

“Attached? Attached. Huh. I guess I knew he liked me, what with the le-casual-‘were-you-aware-that-marriage-makes-adoption-easier’ stunt he tried to pull, but…”

Bruce raised his eyebrows expectantly.

Joker slowly grinned. “My baby! Spoiled rotten already.”

“Alfred has a roast in the oven, to be accompanied by broiled potatoes and a red wine roux.”

“Al is a fucking delight. Let’s blow this joint, Daddy—we’ve got a little bat to spoil. What do they call baby bats, anyway?”

“Pups.”

“Yikes, that’s scientists for ya… Pupper it is, then!”

“Do not call our son a pupper.”

He only realized his slip when Joker stopped and grinned at him again.

“Don’t make it weird.”

“Don’t change our anniversary,” Joker countered.
