Let Them Eat Bread! | Custom Food for Sims 2

Alternative Title: I made CC - can you believe it? (Because I surely can't!)

So I was recently searching for bread for my medieval NH @arendholmislands that I liked the look of, didn't require any cooking skill and was eaten with hands not cutlery. I didn't find quite what I was looking for and I decided why not try to make it myself?

So here are some barley bread loaves for your medieval sims (or modern day bakers!) to munch away on!

The mesh is a TSM conversion by Zx_Ta, which you can find here. And the wonderful @creesims made it into usable food to stock your fridge here, which I think would go along nicely.

A few things to mention:

The bread is cloned from the toaster pastries, which are a little smaller than I wanted the bread to be. Because of that the sim's fingers will kind of vanish inside the bread and they will shove the loaf a little bit too far into their face while eating.

Because I cloned it from the toaster pastries, there's no real "preperation stage", your sims will simply take the unbaked loaf out of the fridge and put it into the oven.

The bread also has no "half eaten" stage when eating, since I can't mesh for the life of me.

But if - like me - those things only mildly bother you, feel free to download and enjoy! :)

My yet-to-be-named Medieval neighborhood! Made using the 'Greylings' terrain by @nimitwinklesims and I'm super proud of the layout and plan for it thus far! The walled area is the central village, which I hope will grow into a broader city as I play and generations pass, to encompass all the outside lots I plan to have bring the whole kingdom to life. At the moment I'm working on the three sections of the royal complex, which is really coming together as I'm building it. Credit to my current favorites in terms of medieval simblrs, @ts2cambremon & @clouseplayssims,for reigniting that want to dive back in and convert this game to fit my storytelling goals! Stay tuned!

Hello, here's a default replacement for female teen basegame bottoms tfbottomminishorts. It's been replaced with two different meshes; Esotheria's vagabond skirt and Godlimpingby's wrappedpants conversion by Meduza.

The meshes both have fat morphs, and the colours used are above. The thumbnails don't line up grouped nicely in CAS because, well I didn't think of it and I'm not messing around with it now haha

I know that people who follow me probably don't care for a medieval playstyle, or are maybe too scared by how daunting the task of gathering all the CC is.

Well regardless, I'm creating a carrd that provides links to many defaults so that it would be easier to find and download default clothing, functional items, food, jobs, and other things !

Given the vast amount of defaults available, I'm open to allowing people to join the carrd and help to make finding medieval CC a whole lot easier.

If you want to join, DM me. You will need to make a free account on the carrd website, use an email that you do not mind sharing with me ! You may also need to join Plumb Bob Keep.

The carrd is a work in progress, and I'm currently focusing on clothing defaults. Starting with Adult Female. I hope that this will be useful to someone in the future !

TSM's donut in afterglow. made this for one of my twitter artist oomfs, who i've managed to brainwash into becoming a sims 2 player. they needed this hair for one of their ocs, and since there were no nice shiny recolors for this one, i did it. :) textures are originals+my edit of afterglow wavy, comes in 4 afterglow naturals. alpha edited by me to remove that pixelated scalp texture. conversion by cynnix, all ages, 6.5k polys. Filling the gaps - part 47 - ambodycardiganjeans

Dang, it's been a minute. How is it going? Work has finally(!!!) slowed down a bit and I have some freetime on my hands. I have a new replacement (for ambodycardiganjeans) ready and some custom recolours.

The mesh has been made by @vampirekiss6661. You can find the Tredony Jacket with sword here. The mesh is included in the archive. Still say thank you to the original creator, because of generous policy and sharing in the first place. <3

The outfits are categorised as everyday, formal, active and outerwear. They are not townie friendly and will use the "boot"-sound. The outfit is also available for young adult and elder male sims.

If you don’t want to use the default, a custom version is included as well.

The custom outfits can be added in merged or separated form. I didn't had to use any masterfiles, because I was able to use a null-txmt for the body part. In short: The files are smaller, than they could have been.

Custom Dresses are tooltipped.

All files have been compressed. Preview pictures are included in the archive.

The mesh is included with thanks.

Quick & Dirty Install instructions:

Default Replacement:

Delete any default for ambodycardiganjeans you might already have!

Put “am-body-cardiganjeans_12Raben“ and the mesh in your downloads folder.

Custom Dresses:

Choose either merged or separated folder.

Put either the merged file and the mesh or your desired colors of the separated folder and the mesh in your downloads folder

Hi everyone, it's been a good while since I made a clothing default replacement, let alone a historical one! I've made one for female teen teenstyle outfit tfbodyskater. It's been replaced with LetoMills' edits of IamLiz13's Middleclass layered medieval dress on Leto's TF conversion of a Tiggerypum mesh.

I used colours 1, 3, 12 (purple, medblue, orange) from Leto's swatch. Mesh has fat and preg morphs, and I've categorised it for formal too.

A Medieval Castle is finally done

I have finally completed this monster. 3 scrapped rough drafts and many hours later, it is done. It's entirely CC free, and I tried not to put in too many items in fear of lag. It doesn't lag at all for me, but it's a massive lot so I wanted to err on the side of caution. It's fully furnished but not overly so (at least in terms of how I usually decorate lol). I have also deleted a couple of the outside walls because when you're looking at the actual castle/house/church, I don't want to look into those walls, and deleting a few means that they stay up. It's not the prettiest looking, but they sort of look like archways?

This lot is intended for Berrybury, the Veronaville subhood I've been working on, but some ToTers over in Simscord wanted it so I figured I'd put it up as a standalone lot as well.

There is absolutely no CC in the lot, however I did use that one giant Maxis chandelier which can apparently throw errors when you first load the lot. Just delete it and replace it, NBD.

It's a big lot, fill with CC at your own peril!
