Vintage Family Photos
Ages ago I said I would share my vintage family photos of the Langstons - and here they are.
The pictures document the Langstons from the 1890 - 1920. Each decade has a different aesthetic style. The pack includes individual portraits (in both table-top and mounted form), family photos, and wedding portraits. There are also war portraits from the family members in WW1 and a selection of gilded portraits.
All of these are recolors. You will need the following meshes to make them work:
Wall-mounted pictures: this set of vintage wall portraits by @budgie2budgie which you can download here
Tabletop pictures: this set by @linzlu
Folding picture frame: this set by @the-dew-of-the-sea
I also note there is a bit of a shadow issue for the landscape pictures that only appears when you enlarge their size (like I have for this preview). I really couldn't be bothered trying to fix it, however, I don't usually enlarge the pictures to this size in-game so it isn't noticeable.

Regency Hairs
This was originally going to be just one hair but I saw @gilded-ghosts‘s wip regency bonnets wanted to make sure they would fit. They were kind enough to send the meshes over and I only needed to make a small alteration to the Martha hair for it to fit the Woodhouse bonnet, but there wasn’t any way to fit it under the Elliot bonnet so I made a second version, Sally, that did.
And of course since I was already doing 2, why not add a third! The Louisa hair is more of an evening hair so I’ve made a flower accessory, found in hats, using @peebsplays palette to match the dresses in their new Emma collaboration.
@gilded-ghosts - Regency Reverie here - for the bonnets
@peebsplays, @batsfromwesteros and @vintagesimstress - Emma Collaboration here, here and here - for the dresses that the flowers match

Emma Collab | Part 1
I am so excited to share this with the world finally! This collab has been months in the making! A huge thanks to Bats for the suggestion! When I first saw the new Emma movie, I wanted to make everything, but my time and skills are limited, so I had to jump at this collaboration with Bats and Vintage. Everyone has done an amazing job! There will be a part two, so leave a comment or send me a DM if you would love to see something!

Here we have Cocomama's Freetime Sewing Machine Conversion that creates her Freetime Quilts.
This works the same as the loom I just posted.
After about a Sim hour, you will find a random quilt in your sim’s inventory.
I enabled LiveDrag for the quilts so that you can drag it straight from your Sim's Inventory to a wall.
While sewing you will get an Inspired Buff. At the end you will receive a Confident Buff for finishing your work, your Sim's new quilt (accompanied by a notification), as well as a small fabricator skill increase if you have the Eco Pack.
I am pretty sure that you will need Snowy Escape for this to work.
I think the biggest issue with this and the loom is that occasionally they will be interrupted by other sims and forget to finish the project. And because this doesn’t work with recipes/crafting, but rather vending machine tuning, it is not resumeable.  It doesn’t happen all the time for me, BUT just in case, I have a work space for my sims so others won’t bother her during a project.
In the zip file are the LiveDrag enabled Quilts and the Sewing Machine.
You will still need to download Cocomama's antique Sewing Machine Table HERE.
I just want to thank Cocomama for letting me share her work with you all!!

McGuffey’s Reader - Historical Homework Defaults
Hello! As per the usual Saturday procrastination session, I have a new piece of cc for you!
I’ve been playing my decades challenge recently, and while scrolling through old photos, I realized that I hadn’t been able to find a good default for the homework in ts4, and the yellow one that came with the game definitely wouldn’t cut it in almost any historical time period, so I created these!
This was originally just going to be McGuffey’s Reader, which was commonly used in the 19th and 20th centuries in elementary schools (at least in America, as far as I know), but I hit a slight roadblock: the textures on the homework are, by default, incredibly small.
Although I got my originally idea into my game, it didn’t look as good as I’d hoped, and any attempts to upsize the texture and still have it function proved futile. So, I also included some options with leather books, as well as a red and blue option for variety. And here we are!
Remember: you can only use one default in your game at a time!
I’ll probably mess around with these textures some more and see if I can get a larger texture to work properly, but until then, I’ve also included all (I mean literally everything, I like organizing a little bit too much sometimes) of the things I used (textures, psds, etc.) to create these, so you can customize them to your heart’s content!
I finally got around to updating these textures to be higher-res, and adding recolor options which can be used alongside the defaults. However, keep in mind that books can’t be recolored with the design tool, so you’d have to purchase the homework in other colors via the order>order books option on a computer.
I also plan to do a version for the university homework, but I’m a bit pressed for time, and the uni homework is mapped differently for some reason, so I’d have to redo the textures, but look out for that in the next few weeks! Now includes defaults for the high school/secondary school homework as well as the university homework!
Enjoy your (slightly) more historically accurate games!
and yes I just now realized that I spelt McGuffey’s as McGuffrey’s but it’s all in simlish so it’s fine
Download: MEGA/Box
credits: simulacrabymotherof70 for their original medieval defaults here, serindipitysims for the palette, and @willowcreekbaby’s original 1920s homework defaults for inspiration (which I can’t seem to find right now, and their blog is gone, so feel free to drop me a link if you have one)!
Update 3/21/21: Added new colors from @serindipitysims’s Historian Palette, and removed the McGuffey one, since it’s incredibly low quality and I want to see if I can fix it. If anyone still wants it for some reason, the old files are here: creator’s kit (OLD, the download above has the updated one)/original defaults (OLD)
Update 3/27/21: Added defaults for high school/secondary school and university, + updated all of them to use dds textures rather than pngs.
Update 7/15/21: I finally got around to updating these with higher-res textures, and added recolor options to be used alongside the defaults, so please redownload!

Hello everyone! I’ve been wanting to share my recolors with all of you for a while, so I decided to start with Sokolov’s Portraits from Dishonored 1. I’m planning to make a whole series of Dishonored themed recolors, so stay tuned for more. For this to work you’ll need @thejim07 original mesh, which you can find here.
Special thanks and credit to @thejim07 for kindly letting me use his original mesh!
DOWNLOAD (FREE/NO ADS): SIMSFILESHARE
Sorry for the messy screenshots, this is the first time I upload one of my recolors.

Julie: 1970's CC Stuff Pack
Julie Albright's parents recently divorced and she moved to a different part of San Francisco, where she's attending a new school and can only see her dad and best friend Ivy on the weekends. Her biggest passion is basketball so when she's told that the school's team is for boys only, she fights back, stating that Title IX gives girls the right to play. Whether it's petitioning for gender equality in sports, protecting endangered species or running for student body president, Julie learns that the best way to deal with the changes you can't control is to make positive changes of your own.
17 items total: 13 CAS/4 BB.
Merged files for CAS, BB and all plus sub-folder for individual files.
Most of the items in this set are BGC but the basketball requires City Living.
The casual pants are not compatible with boots that go higher than mid-calf, but work with shorter boots and other shoe types. They also don't work with shorter tops or ones that tuck. The meet jeans do not work with socks.
Done in the American Girl palette with extra neutral swatches.

The thermos mesh is by @imadako. The birthday dress uses the mesh from @peebsplays Caroline holiday dress and lace texture from the Josefina meet outfit. Meshes are included in each package. Thanks also to @cmoonsims for making my previews and testing! Credit for the Julie logo in the thumbnails goes to American Girl. *Read under the cut for WCIF extra preview items.*

As requested, here is the CC for my skeletons! The clothes are actually accessories. The skeleton itself is a full body outfit and each skeleton has a correct mesh that works with the clothes: it's the outfit with matching thumbnails for each set. The hairs can be found under hats. Let me know if there's any problem :)

Midcentury Eyewear for Children - BGC
Maryellen and Melody have sunglasses that are fairly identical in shape, the difference being pattern. Wouldn’t you know that the base game has the right shape- but for T-E and as regular lenses. Shrinking them down to fit kids was fairly simple and @batsfromwesteros and @monochaossimblr both helped me convert from regular lenses to sun.
The Maryellen pairs are a solid color while the Melody pairs have the white block.
Done in the American Girl palette.

Old Family Picture Posepack
I’ve been playing through the decades challenge, and I couldn’t find a posepack meant for a historical game, so I made one! This was meant to mimic family photographs of the late 1800s-early 1900s.
I’m planning on making a few more poses meant for the decades challenge/historical games, so watch out for those in the next few weeks!
Have fun, and feel free to tag me if you use any of my cc in your game!

This is going to be my last 1900s lookbook, and it’s one I was very excited about and which was requested - Marigold and Primrose’s outfits.
I’ve included their looks from both early and late childhood, as well as their teenage/girlhood years. I wanted to show how they’ve evolved as they’ve gotten older, but also the difference in clothing between them which reflects the different classes they belong to, which becomes more obvious in their dress as they become young women.
This lookbook has been sitting in my drafts for weeks. I kept putting off posting it because I didn’t want to have to go find and link the resources for 63 outfits. In the end I decided not to - it takes a lot of time and tbh, it isn’t fun for me. But I will of course be happy to answer WCIF’s for any of the outfit elements above so please hit up my ask/check my WCIF tag if you’d like to know!

Lucille Hair
I made this at the suggestion of @waxesnostalgic using @joliebean’s First Kiss hair (found here) so most of the credit for this really goes to them, and to joliebean’s generous TOUs.
I wasn’t sure about what era this hair fitted in but it could apparently work for late Victorian to late 1910s.
