A bundle of 15 Lot Challenges to disable a specific emotion on the Lot.
Don't want your family Sims to get creepily flirty at home in front of their children? You don't need to manually remove buffs from each of the household members when you can now simply put a Lot Challenge to clear all the unwanted buffs.
Sims will never get the banned emotion on a Lot. This also instantly erases all current buffs of the banned emotion with a timed duration from the Sims. The Lot names are pretty much self-explanatory.
However, just like any cheats to remove buffs, this won't erase any constant buff that has no timed duration (e.g. Feeling Great from high needs)** This also applies to buffs in custom emotions that are tagged with the decay of game tags e.g. Flirty_Buffs
** They are compatible with any other mods.
** They are all base game compatible. No other requirement!

I showed Alessia how to dice vegetables and what not, thinking she'd grab a cutting board and try it herself. But she stood next to me, smiling. Maybe she thought she'd grasp it by osmosis or something. At least her heart was in the right place...I guess.
Luca sauntered into the kitchen and joined her in spectating. What was I? Pre-dinner entertainment?
As soon as we sat down to eat, her mood changed dramatically. She went from being inspired to mortified in two seconds flat. I'd never seen her so upset before, and I went into a mild panic trying to see what happened. She said she got an awkward text from a classmate. The girl wanted Alessia's advice on how to tell someone she liked them. At first, the message excited her because she thought the girl was referring to Luca since he's always making googly eyes at her.
My son had a crush on someone??!!! How exciting was that?! I wondered why he never told me, but then again, these first crushes could be quite sensitive, so maybe he wasn't ready. I hoped he'd tell me all about her soon.
Alessia thought the girl was asking about Luca, but it turned out she was referring to Alessia. Yikes. I saw where this was going.
My poor baby was so conflicted on top of being embarrassed. Should she tell Luca about this? She didn't want his feelings to be hurt, but if his crush wasn't interested in him... Both my children were great catches, and the girl had excellent taste. She'd be lucky to end up with either of them, but Alessia wasn't into girls and felt weird about that interaction. She didn't know how to respond without hurting her feelings and giving her the impression she was interested. I wasn't quite sure what to suggest, as I'd never been in a situation like that before. But I tried. I suggested she be honest and tell the girl she didn't know the answer. She would either go away and ask someone else if she genuinely wanted her opinion or come straight out and tell Alessia she was the crush. Alessia could then let her down gently...or something.
She seemed to appreciate the advice, and I saw an opportunity I probably wouldn't get again. I asked if she had a crush on anyone, and she said yes! The mid to late teen days were so exciting, and I was happy for my youngsters. Even if nothing came of these crushes, watching them go through this phase was so fun for me. I asked her to tell me about him, and of course she began by saying how cute he was. He had brown skin and blonde, curly hair, she said. Apparently, he was mixed, just like her and Luca. He kept to himself a lot, which, of course, made her even more curious about him.
She lit up like Winterfest lights as she spoke of him, and it was the cutest thing. I had to find out more but also see where her head was as far as relationships went and everything that came with them. The last thing I wanted was for my children to make the same mistakes I made. But I didn't want to just dive in and make it all about woohoo, especially if she wasn't there yet, so I told her about my first crushes, Laurant and Devonte. She was so intrigued when I got to the part about me and my friend Diamond, both liking Laurant but also completely smitten by her twin, Devonte. She asked if I ever kissed them, and despite wanting to know where her head was, I was still surprised.
"Is that something you think you want to do? With Rene?" I asked.
She shrugged. "Maybe. I don't know. I was just curious, I guess."
An idea fell on me, and I knew how to have The Talk with her.
"Can I tell you a story?" I asked.
"I had my first kiss and first woohoo on the same day within minutes of each other."
Her eyes were so large, I could see all the follow-up questions incoming.
"It was Devonté. On Love Day."
Her eyes lit up even more. Maybe we should have moved to the living room. I felt like this conversation needed a cozier environment, but we were already into it.
"He was giving me mixed signals, and I wanted to know once and for all how he felt about me, so I invited him to my house to talk and hang out. At least, that's what I told myself. What I really wanted was to kiss him, but I guess I wasn't ready to admit I wanted physical intimacy with someone. My parents were very...loving toward each other, and I wanted that with someone, too. So when he kissed me, I let it happen. And when I realized we were going to do more than kiss, I didn't say no."
She looked all kinds of uncomfortable, and we definitely should have gone to the couch.
"Oh, I hope I didn't scare you. He didn't force me or anything, if that's what you're thinking. But I wasn't honest with myself about what I wanted, and when it happened, I guess I was a little surprised even though I wanted to do it...if that makes sense."
She nodded, but still looked uncomfortable. Maybe talking about woohoo for the first time shocked her system. I wasn't too fond of it either. But it paved the way for my friendship with Mommy I cherished so much. I hoped Alessia would feel the same way later.
Talking about being honest made me think about more recent events.
"Thinking about it," I began, "I wasn't honest with myself about the guy I cheated with, either. I told you I had feelings for him for a long time, but I didn't realize it until too late. I think I knew, but I couldn't admit it. Especially after I got married. So what I wanted to say is...always be truthful with yourself. Even if it's something bad, like having feelings for someone else when you're in a relationship. You can't do anything about it until you face it head on. Lying to yourself has consequences."
The uncomfortable look melted away slowly, and I was glad. Maybe that meant she learned something. Her new expressed looked surprised, probably that I admitted to all that.
"Maybe if I would have admitted it long time ago, I wouldn't have met and married your dad. I mean, I'm glad I met your dad. I loved him. And I wouldn't have you if I didn't. But look what happened. I hurt everyone and destroyed my marriage. So...yeah... Be honest with yourself. And think about what you do and who you do it with. And don't give yourself to jerks. You're not doing it yet, are you?"

The audience votes for Tayuin to lie with 58% in favor, and 42% opposed.
next / previous / beginning
TAYUIN: It was no different than how you got yours. I found it. In some sort of ridiculous… mirror dimension. Except mine didn’t come with any extra baggage.
SARAYN: Mirror dimension?
TAYUIN: What can I say? I’ll give the elven mages points for creativity, but faeries are the true masters of illusion.
SARAYN: And you are one such Master of Illusion?
TAYUIN: What, do you need a demonstration?
SARAYN: Certainly not. If your magic is as deceptive as your words, I imagine you are quite skilled, indeed. Suppose I should be more wary.
TAYUIN: I told you. We’re in this together. What would lying to you do for me?
SARAYN: I couldn’t begin to know.
TAYUIN: All I care about is getting us out ahead. We got the keys, and now we’re in prime position for the next trial. Whatever advantage we’re going to get for it, is worth whatever happened on the inside. I meant what I said. You did well, and you deserved to win.
SARAYN: I’m sure others would disagree.
TAYUIN: The way I see it, you did no wrong. You took what was given to you, so what? What others think shouldn’t matter to you at all.
SARAYN: Then I am reassured. Likewise, you did well.
SARAYN: Suppose I have also chosen good company. I’ll be looking forward to the next trial. I bid you a good evening. Should you need me before then, well, surely you know where to find me.
welcome to simstorydirect, an archive for sim stories run by @literalite, @valentinicsims and @astralsi! i know other blogs like this exist but i wanted something very easily filterable that updates regularly so- no better way to get what i want then by doing it myself.
tbh i don’t read a lot of stories so to make this an actual archive i’m asking for people to submit their own stories so i can add them to the masterlists.
the submission form is here, and you can submit multiple stories, but please only submit your own story. please don’t give me ur story via ask or dm, use this link only
Bruno: Do you have any idea how much time and energy I've wasted searching for him over the years?
Ivan: If it made you feel better at the time, technically it wasn't wasted.
Bruno: You know.. I never knew; he'd already gone by the time I found out what he was.
Ivan: You don't have to explain anythin', Bruno.
Bruno: I.. I thought if I could find him; if he wasn't dead, that he'd tell me it was all a misunderstanding, that I wasn't just a means to an end. I've imagined this moment so many times, all the scenarios-... I should've known better.
Ivan: Don't beat yourself up. It's kinda natural t'hope for the best, ain't it?
Bruno: There's hope, then there's blind ignorance. I've been kidding myself this whole time.
Ivan: Sorry, man... I know how it feels t'love someone more than they love you.
Bruno: [sighs] I don't mean to be so-...
Ivan: I get it.
Bruno: I hope you don't think any less of Alea after this. She's made some questionable decisions, like the rest of us; but she's not a bad person. She's not-.. she wouldn't turn us in or rat on us. Don't worry. I doubt you trust any of us at this point, if you even did before-... Sorry, I'm rambling. Either nothing comes out, or it all does.
Ivan: S'alright. I've been told I'm a good listener.
Bruno: Yeah... Thanks.
Ivan: All this could'a been the closure you needed, y'know?
Bruno: Doubt it, I never could get a serious conversation out of him.
Ivan: I think you oughta try before he fucks off again... D'you wanna go back up?
INDRYR: Therion, glad to see you’re okay. In the illusion realm, you were… otherwise.
THERION: Oh really? Dreaming about me, were you?
INDRYR: Not the way I’d put it. It occurred to me that perhaps things appeared to me the way they did because I had not yet confronted them in my reality. The fact is, you blamed me for what happened during the first trial, and I want to set the record straight.
THERION: Huh? You mean you’re hung up on that? Look, I’m sorry for implying you might have been at fault, but my point still stands. I’m a ranger, and I take my duties seriously. A lapse in attention, or walking off the job can be the difference between someone living or dying. When you’re given a responsibility, you ought to treat it with more care.
INDRYR: Do your duties also allow for false accusations?
THERION: I wouldn’t have considered you suspect if you hadn’t given me reason to.
INDRYR: You were still wrong in the end.
THERION: I said I was sorry, what more do you want? It wasn’t a big deal. But next time you’re negligent during a trial, we might not be so lucky. Maybe you should think about that.
“You thought you were in love with Saoirse,” says Joël. “...and look how that turned out.”
“I was in love with the idea of being in love with Saoirse,” says Roy. “And with her freckles. I still miss her freckles. She had freckles everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Plus she introduced me to the greatest sex act ever known to man, so for that I owe her an enduring debt of gratitude. But even though the sex was awesome, there was still something missing. It was always…I dunno. I never felt she was committed 100%.”
“What about Naomi? You were totally in love with Naomi,” says Joël.
“Naomi cast some sort of spell over me,” says Roy. “I was powerless to resist, dude. She’s like one of those mythological sirens who used to lure sailors to their deaths. Or Satan. Every time I kissed her, an angel would have an aneurysm, I swear to God.”
“So what’s the deal with Anya?” says Joël. “Apart from her physical attributes.”
“Being around her just makes me feel good,” says Roy. “And she’s just so cool and down to earth. It didn’t even seem to bother her that first night when I couldn’t- ”
“Nothing. And she was amazing with Henrietta, Henrietta loved her and you know what Henri’s like, she thinks everyone’s beneath contempt. And she’s affectionate, dude. I fucking love that. And it’s like she knows exactly what I’m feeling about stuff without me even telling her. Like we have this connection, you know? I’d always heard people talking about their connection and I always thought it was a huge wank but now I know exactly what-
“When you couldn’t WHAT?” says Joël.
“Dude, it was her father’s fault! He rang her just after we got back to my place and told her to make sure to use a condom. So, yeah. That was it. He got in both my heads, the evil fucking bastard-”
“So the first night you spent with Anya, you couldn’t get it up,” says Joël. “Dude.”
“Listen, Dropkick, I more than made up for it last night,” says Roy. “But the whole point of the story was, it didn’t even matter. Like we just really enjoyed each other’s company, somehow she still made me feel like a total baller-”
“Erectile dysfunction’s a growing problem,” snickers Joël.
“You could start a club. Except it would probably be a flop, and nobody would come.”
“Glad you’re enjoying yourself at my expense, dude.”

[EMILIA] Aren’t you the cutest, Asmo? [chuckles]
[EMILIA] I’ll see you tomorrow. maybe later, actually. Don’t give me that face!
[EMILIA] I just have to go—
[AMELIA] Emilia, who are you talking to?
[EMILIA] Mom! No one, just... nothing.
[AMELIA] I don’t think I know this one.
[EMILIA] This is Asmo. A gift from grandpa.
[EMILIA] I told him I wasn’t really looking for a competition horse anymore.
[AMELIA] He gave you a horse?
[EMILIA] Yes. The others are rescued.
[EMILIA] You should come by sometime! With appropriate clothing, though. You got your heels dirty, mom!
[AMELIA] Theresa mentioned she wanted to come in the morning. We missed you at breakfast.
[EMILIA] I wanted to go mom. I just lost track of time taking care of them.
[AMELIA] You don’t have to do all this by yourself. If you need help, just tell Pearl—
[EMILIA] it’s alright mom. I know what I’m doing.
[AMELIA] I’m just looking out for you, Emilia. I came here to talk to you about that.
[EMILIA] About what?
[AMELIA] Your future. Our publicist came up with an idea regarding a new image for you.
[EMILIA] What’s wrong with the one I have? I thought people liked it.
[AMELIA] You’ll like this one more, trust me. Can we go to your office? I’d rather talk to you in a... cleaner space.
