Damian smiles as he leaves the square. This contest still isn’t the innocent fun it should have been, but at least the weight of Eve winning is off his shoulders. He is now confident that he can shake her off.

On a sidenote the First Lady graced the Starlight Accolades with her presence and the President did a Yoga pose in front of Jin’s house.

As long as Alton was the mayor is was cool spotting him here and there, but now that he’s president I consider deleting the Bellamy household to prevent out-of-character appearances.

Most of them were failing/on academic probation when I took them over, but in the end everyone made it. And now I’ve had really, really enough of university gameplay for a while.

The group continues their patrol. When they pass by a small playground, Eve briefly stops in here track.

After the moment of shock the girl moves over to the other side of the street, switching places with Peggy.

“What’s that to be?” Alayna inquires. “Musical chairs without chairs?”

Eve: “Oh, uh, I just noticed that we all have different hair colors. We could form the flags of the world if we changed our walking order. Look, if I move between you and Peggy, we would be Germany!”

Peggy (looking back): “Hm...”

After graduation Alayna, now Segeant Zhou, got tasked with breaking in the newbies. After their probationary year they might get assigned different partners, but for now Eve and Peggy were stuck with each other.

Peggy: “Really, Al, pest control?! We studied our asses off for five months to be better payed rat-catchers now?” 

Alayna: “Whatever needs doing to keep the city safe. Look at the size of those buggers! They could bite a toddler’s arm off!”

Eve: “Wow, hero.” *yawns*

Peggy: “Good morning, Irene! Good morning, Connor!”

Peggy: “Did you stand out here the whole night?! Because we argued?”

Connor: “Yes. No.”

Peggy: “Oh, come on, talk to me in full sentences! I can pay you for it, in case you require me to.”

Connor: “I find it relaxing to just exist, is all.”

Peggy: “Nothing to be said against that. But, dang, I’d preferred you to have sulked all night instead of enjoying yourself. That would have given me hope you’d doubt your choice of an employer at least a little.”

Eve: “My upbringing played into why I wanted this job, you know. Our parent-generation created androids to serve us. It probably sounded like a good idea to them, but now someone has to make sure that the damn things do not get ideas!”

Peggy: “Like running for president?”

Eve: “Don’t remind me! Plastic-president’s opponent is hot garbage, so when all’s said and done I may have voted for the oh-so-perfect robot. It’s sickening!”

Alayna: “And that attitude is why I am in this job. Human treats android like trash, android treats little human like trash, little human grows up to treat android like trash, android... you get the picture. It’s a neverending circle and the best you can do is smash some heads in, because if you cannot make them learn, you can at least make them stop their shit.”

Peggy: “Just a very long road, Al, okay? Maybe we cannot break it the circle, but someone will be able to... sometime down the road.”

Alayna just shakes her head and proceeds to teach the trainees the important concept of “your superior officer craves a shashlik”.

Peggy: “So, Eve, I assume you stopping abruptly had nothing to do with us passing by an android?”

Eve: “Don’t be silly! This isn’t Detroit, but even so androids are commonplace. You’ve seen me walking past them without getting nervous before!”

Peggy: “So why are you peeking over your shoulder now?”

Eve: “Just making sure it’s not mi...”

Peggy: “Yours?! YOU had an android?!”

Eve: “Nonsense! I’d never...”

Eve: “Okay, listen! That was an AX400, working as a dacyare mom. And I’m an orphan. Does it add up now?”

Peggy: “You were... raised... by an android... androids? In the orphanage!”

Eve: “Exactly. That was all I ever knew, growing up. Them being so terribly flawless.. knowledgeable... without ever having to try. And the corollary was that no matter how hard I was trying, I could never match them.”

Daniel wears the same costume every Halloween. Little Hank Kamski doesn’t understand what is supposed to be so scary about that suit. After all, his grandpa Connor has the very same suit in his closet, only minus the tie!

Come to think of it, gramps Connor never wears this particular jacket, and he got angry when Hank asked about it once. But that’s adults for you, right?

Hm... Gavin’s son & Connor’s adopted daughter...? Romantically? Yes or yes?

Neither kid had a romantic relationship so far, but now that they are living in the same dorm they might be curious. And besides, it’s not a proper Sims game if not everyone will end up related to everyone else.
