hey brim! just wondering if plan on reading little mushroom anytime soon?

It’s on my list, but I think the first things I’m planning to read after I get out the liehuo pit are S//aye (bc ami’s translating it and I really love her tl style) and C//ancipin (because priest). So... it might be a while.

Also I need to finish the second two-thirds of jwqs, which I started back last autumn, and then shelved bc while reading it I realized it was possible for me to mtl the priest works I was drooling waiting for updates for

#ask brim #anon #also I nowadays I'm a lot pickier #like last year there were a couple things I read that just didn't seem worth it #since I'm a slow reader I gotta really be able to dig my teeth into something #and I'll feel annoyed about wasting my time on something that's just pure fluff #or if the plot is overly tropey/cliche #hjt & fdcm really didn't do it for me #idk much about little mushroom at this point #I heard it's angsty so that's 👀 #but once I'm considering it I think I'll need to ask a few ppl I know like 'okay would I actually like this tho?' #cuz a lot of the time when people market things as angsty it'll be like 7ye or something where I'm like 'okay... I guess some parts hurt?'
