Body Positivity for the Win!

Let’s talk body positivity and breaking boundaries! #HappyWednesday 💚

My body and my mind has been through ups and downs. One day I feel great, unstoppable...other days I question why I do what I do and say what I say and feel how I feel.

I’m in a world where people are so focused on what people look like. The dance industry is not the only industry like that...but I am working to change that thought process in the dance industry. For years, it took me time to find dresses that fit me right. (You’d be surprised how many people couldn’t fit my booty into dresses! 🤦‍♀️) It made me feel like something was wrong with me. Well I danced harder and harder, worked my butt off (no pun intended!) and now I’m sponsored by a company who dresses everyone in every size!! My dresses are custom made to make me feel like a freaking queen! I love everyone at this company and love that they didn’t listen to the unnecessary standards of what a body should like when they dance.

Throughout the years, I built a circle of people around me that are good, wholesome people. People that are good for the soul and kindhearted. I LOVE that my circle grows in the SI Swim Search! So many amazing, incredible, and inspiring women!! #LoveYourCircle #FindYourCircle

I posted these photos because even though they were taken with a tripod on a timer, I felt unstoppable that day. My body felt great, my mind felt great, everything was picture perfect that day. As you scroll on IG and other social media platforms...spread love, positivity, good vibes...you never know what kind of day people are having so just spread kindness.
