If it was a piece of paper, I would tear it. If it was a bottle, I would break it, if it was a wall, I would tear it down - But it is my heart.

Dick Rivers - Via Lucifer (1966)
Dick Rivers, born Hervé Forneri, took his stage name from Elvis Presley's character Deke Rivers in the film Loving You. Along with Johnny Hallyday, he introduced rock n' roll to France, though most of his recordings are pretty pedestrian to my ears. Not so this psych pop sitar fabulosity.

What race do you think Stella is in Spiritfarer?
I think they left her race ambiguous for a reason, but I just assumed she was Indian. It says in game that she grew up in France and later moved to America, but it also says her family immigrated to France when she was a baby. I suppose they could've been from anywhere, but my main reason for thinking they might be Indian is because her uncle's name is Atul, which is Hindi. Moreover, Stella's aunt Summer, who was friends with her father and married her mom's sister, also played the sitar, a stringed instrument originating from the Indian subcontinent. So my personal guess is Stella's Indian.
