Reminder: Aelin's forging of the Lock means her world's gates are now "sealed forever"
I feel like it's unlikely that Aelin gets dragged into this Crescent City/ACOTAR mess because her world is supposed to be permanently sealed.
Easter eggs and lore from before the gates were sealed is extremely likely, but actively visiting those characters seems impossible.
Of course, anything could happen because Sarah is insane (in the best way), but still, canonically Aelin's world is isolated now!

When you're only in one lane of the SJM universe, don't know what a Lorcan is, and are vaguely aware of crossover episode but you're having fun anyway:

lele sjm said that you need to have read tog and acotar for the next cc book to make sense and I’m just like,,, please I hope she leaves Aelin out of it! Don’t get me wrong I’d love to look into what’s going on post-koa but give us world of tog don’t drag Aelin and her court into the rest of it (specifically the Messyness™️ of acotar after nesta’s book…👀)
I'm with you!!! I don't want anyone from ToG involved, at least not right now. It would feel very "teehee look what I can do" rather than being something that would work for the story. The whole crossover feels that way so that won't necessarily stop it from happening haha RIP.
I just feel like if Aelin showed up it would be to solve someone else's problems, and she's done enough! Let her just be happy with her hot husband/mate and LIVE. If we do get to see what she's up to, I want it to be like little court squabbles and learning how to make chocolate cake, not world-ending stuff.
EDIT Oh but btw I thought she just said that acotar and cc are linked now? I don't remember her bringing ToG into it, in terms of it being "necessary" to understand the crossover, moving forward.

Spoilers of all 3 SJM series!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~☆
In Throne of Glass, one of Manon's Thirteen is named Briar
In ACOWAR, Feyre and Azriel break into Hybern's camp to rescue Elain after she was taken. There were three girls hung up on the wall, only one was alive. Later we find that her name is also Briar.
Ya'll what's going on here like what if Briar shows up in Crescent City as some world traveler like Bryce & Aelin???
Omg hello anon yes I do!! I'm still working on it but I've gotten through all of TOG and the first ACOTAR. It's already 154 slides long 😅 I'll probably share it when I'm done, unless people want to see just the TOG slides!
I'm all for theories. Theory away.
Can we please stop saying CC3 is titled that because Aelin in TOG was once referred to as The Queen of Flame and Shadow. Sorry to my Terrasen Queen, but this isn't about her. SJMverse hasn't fully been extended to TOG the way ACOTAR was. For all we know, it's just going to be Bryce in Velaris for a bit, and that's it. Some people are hellbent on the title relating to ACOTAR or TOG instead of the primary storyline. And yeah it can be a fun Aelin easter egg, and it could be a subtle hint to her return. That's not the reason for the title.
The title is always plot focused. It's going to be about Crescent City. About Bryce, Hunt and friends fighting the good fight and having ourselves traumatized over the characters we love dying. It's going to reflect there and what's to come as all of her books have been. If you think about how the story ended and what's going to happen, The focus on Hel, etc. Not to mention the simple little fact of its a House of a Midgard.
It's incredibly fitting.
Azriel & Morrigan vs. Azriel & Elain
Azriel around Morrigan:
Azriel around Elain:
*titters and explodes*
My man CANNOT keep it together.
I need this angst and pining.
There is a lot to unpack about Azriel and Morrigan. I think there is more to it than he's had a crush on her for 500 years but never made a move because he considers himself unworthy. It's important to note that is *Morrigans* interpretation of his actions, but these two obviously don't communicate and the inner circle is largely oblivious about Azriel's inner thoughts.
I also think the biggest possible plothole in all of the SJMverse would be for Azriel, the only person whom Nesta trusted to keep eyes on Elain while she scryed again, does not know our babygirl is queer. If Sarah comes out and says explicity: Azriel had no idea Morrigan was interested in women! I would say: Sarah, respectfully, you are lying. I have a theory on Mor and Az, but it is one I've heard has gotten other posters bullied off the internet. I'll see if I'm brave enough after a few more posts!
However, with all this supposed pining for Mor, it has never interrupted family dinners or his ability to be around Mor and work together. Less than two years around Elain Archeron and our little solstice and family dinner loving Bat Boy cannot even stand to show up at Solstice and stays by the door in case he has to leave.
Just rip my heart out and stomp on it, why don't you?
Lucien is WAY more powerful than some people think he is. I think we have seen less than 5% of his capacity.
This man has both Autumn and Day Courts lineage. Light and Fire two things that we have seen SJMverse can defeat Shadows (I think he can defeat Azriel). Also, we have seen how powerful light and fire can be. Imagine now someone who has both powers.
Lucien isn't weak.
I can't wait to see this man full potential. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Antis love to ALWAYS point out that “Elain can’t have Azriels children” so they won’t be endgame…
This is a extremely gross take and I doubt SJM who is all about uplifting women and who was adopted herself would make a love story boil down to if someone could have kids or not. But let’s humor their theory.
✨Where in the book does it even talk about Elains anatomy? People just assume because Nesta says she changed her and Feyre to Cassian this automatically means Elain can’t birth Illyrian children but nothing is actually ever said about Elains anatomy. ✨
✨We know the cauldron loves Elain and gave her gifts but we don’t even know what gifts she may have yet other then her seer powers. It has been hinted at she may have shifting powers as well.✨
✨But the biggest flaw in this theory is assuming every Illyrian child has wings. In acosf Cassian explains that even tho Rhysand is Illyrian he was not born with wings. ✨
✨So in canon if 1 parent is not Illyrian there is a good chance the baby would not have wings. So if Elain & Azriel end up together they could have babies without wings…✨
This has always been a flimsy argument anyway because Feysand & Nessian were mated before Feyre and Nesta were changed.
There are mated pairs now in the SJMverse that cannot have kids the natural way.
But the antis love to conviently forget about all these canon points…
