SK8 Headcanon: Cherry Mind Dump Edition!

Happy Birthday!

Brushes his teeth with a very specific tooth paste and refuses to use any other type and brand

In the process of making a Carla toothbrush

Has been told to dye his hair black at some point because he probably went to a school that demands "natural" hair when the school doesn't realize they're in an anime

Best skincare routine

Eats things in a specific order on his plate

He finds Kojiro's cooking second best to his parent's

He can sing, not like angelic, but he can carry a tune

He kind of wants to cut his hair but he isn't too sure about it

The reason why he couldn't use his Carla wheelchair everywhere is because it probably takes a lot to charge it or it's expensive to replace/fix if he brought it to S

He has a Sakura tree in his front yard

He's good at doing make up on other people but not on himself

He doesn't have a good hair care routine despite it being so long

Gamer kid, nothing else needs to be said

Appreciates birthday gifts and wishes but he doesn't make it a huge deal except for nagging Kojiro about cooking up a birthday dinner

He's a bit sleepy and whiny when he's drunk, like he'll start venting and then the next moment he's crying, the next, passed out

Sk8 Headcanons: Cleaning Edition!

Joe: He'd find stuff in his bedroom closet, find a box from highschool, reminic, call Kaoru to come over and see the old polaroid photos they took when they were younger and actually finish cleaning the next day.

Cherry: He keeps his stuff pretty clean on the daily but when stuff gets really messy he goes ham, don't contact him the whole day because he's going to have all devices on do not disturb to proceed his deep cleaning process.

Shadow: He is probably a slob so he cleans up every month to discover something he lost and needed 3 weeks ago but now it's too late.

Adam: He doesn't clean at all, that's Tadashi and whatever other servant's job.

Tadashi: The one doing the cleaning or looking over the other servants to clean, which he and everyone else do a good job at keeping the estate squeaky clean.

Reki: He is pretty good at keeping his stuff clean and sorted, from his room to his garage of mechanic stuff. He only has to clean when he gets into a depressed slump and gets it done slowly over a weekend.

Langa: The most dirty he can get is a little cluttered, so he only really has to take 20 minutes to clean his room. He's also the one to mainly clean the kitchen or dishes.

Miya: Messy, atrocious, gamer den for the gamer kid, even though he eats healthy snacks, there'd probably be piles of little healthy fruit pouches in his room next to his trashcan and does a terrible job at cleaning any corner of his room.

You A. Run up to him and ask abt his skating techniques and such

Or B. He actually walks up to you to talk about your skating(only if ur good ofc💀)

He’s such a dad

If you’re younger than him he’s constantly trying to sound smart/give you wisdom

Sometimes it’s solid advice the other times it’s pure nonsense

If you like to cook/want to learn he’ll happily teach you

If not he’ll settle for a new taste tester

He would def make jokes all the time

Some genuinely funny

He expects you to laugh at all of them even if it wasn’t funny

He’d appreciate it if you didn’t cock block him like everyone else

Despite being quick to take off his shirt he’s very fashionable and takes pride in his looks obviously

If you ever needed fashion advice best go to him!

He’s a pretty laid back guy so you wouldn’t get into arguments often

Would love to skate everywhere but he’s like…got a job and responsibilities so..

Still a great dad friend to have

Honestly would care and worry over you if you got into some dumb shit so don’t do anything stupid and he won’t worry

Sk8 the Infinity - General Headcanons - Main 6 - 🥭

Reki and Langa have a shared tiktok and always are posting trendy dance videos. Additionally, every time a video gets over 1,000 or so likes, Reki thinks they're local celebrities. (Meanwhile Miya's account is verified with millions of followers)

Langa is definitely one of those people who ALWAYS carries a fan on them. Movie theaters, pews, stadiums, everywhere. If he doesn't have one, he's dramatically fanning himself with a brochure or magazine. (Or he steals Cherry's)

Shadow is the type to flip a coin, and if it lands on heads, he'll text his ex. If it lands on tails, he'll probably just flip it again.

(A bit canon) Miya would order the most extravagant meal when Joe is paying, just to not even touch it. Kind of a jerk teenager thing, but he only does it when Joe is paying.

Shadow and Cherry definitely do their hair together. I mean, come on. There's no way Cherry gets the perfect, luscious ponytail, and Shadow achieves the most elaborate hair style on their own. Not because they really need each others help, but their "hair routine" takes a very long time, so they have a little bit of "girl guy talk"

Langa is the type of guy to have perfectly clear skin, healthy silky hair, and soft skin, but do nothing that's deserving of that. He'd be glowing after washing his entire body with dish soap from 1953.

Shadow, and Joe are gymbros who embellish their workouts just to show each other up. They have an unspoken competition on who could eat most while "bulking", and who could fast the longest while "cutting".

Miya would try to go to the gym with them, but then be scolded by Cherry and Reki for "lifting too heavy", and claiming it would "stunt his growth". (He only lifted 22 kg / 50 lb)

Langa is the friend who forgets to eat regularly, Reki is the friend who never gets full. Let's just say it's a great friendship dynamic.

Miya is one of those "angsty" teenagers who wears sweaters during the summer. It's absolutely ridiculous, and drives Cherry absolutely insane. But during the winter, Miya wear sleeveless shirts, probably just to spite Cherry.

Sk8 Headcanons: Babies/Toddlers Edition!

Joe: He was a cranky, crying all day baby. he learned how to talk pretty quickly, walked kind of late for some reason, and loved to play with the shape sorting toy and watched too much Dora. His first word was "Eat"

Cherry: He was a relatively quiet baby, which could either mean he was asleep or getting into something dangerous. He learned how to talk pretty early too but was generally quiet, he wasn't as talkative as other babies his age. He loved toys that included vehicles and would really enjoy. His first word was "Mama"

Shadow: He was a very whiny baby, so whiny about every little thing. He learned how to walk and talk at a normal pace, and was super talkative. His favorite toy was his black and blue blanky that he'd always carry around until 12 years old. His first word was "Blankey"

Adam: He was obviously a spoiled baby, with everything he could ever want material wise, but he was pretty clingy. He'd be a slow learner at talking and had trouble with walking all on his own for a good while. He'd have tons of favorite toys in his own playroom, which had a giant toy chest. His first word was "Food"

Tadashi: He was a pretty chill baby. He didn't really like being held by anyone besides his parents though, he'd start bawling if anyone but his parents held him, it'd be like this until he turned 5. He learned how to talk and walk at a normal pace. He didn't have a favorite toy. His first word was "Play"

Reki: He was a whiney and cranky baby, probably why his mom likes to think of him as 'a little pet monster'. He totally got into a lot of trouble, getting into dangerous things or stupid things, like putting his toys in the toilet and crying about it. He learned to speak at a normal pace was learned how to walk pretty early. His favorite toy was a little cat plush of his, he'd always sleep with it. His first word was "Mama"

Langa: He was a very quiet and chill baby, he wouldn't cause many problems for his parents and listened very well. He learned how to talk a bit late but he learned how to talk extremely quickly. His favorite toy would be the snowboarding goggles he'd wear whenever his parents would take him to learn how to snowboard. His first word was "snow" (but rumors his mom swears his first word was "food")

Miya: He was a loud baby. He picked up on both talking and walking extremely quickly. His favorite thing to play with was his pet cat that was pretty old at the time and he was devastated when it died just when he was 5. His first word was "Kitty!"

Sk8 the Infinity Headcanon:

You know these fools bump something when they skate together on odd weekdays at 3 am in undisclosed locations. This is how I think that turns out for them...

Miya is into only hyperpop and electro pop and anything poppy that sounds like it could be in an anime intro. Which is fine. But he also stands religiously by his taste and claims it's the only thing that actually qualifies as music and everything else is just "noise." Thus, he lost aux privileges on account of being a condescending little biscuit. And on account of Shadow threatening to suplex him if he didn't switch it off immediately.

Reki listens to whatever's trending or some chill gangster rap. Or, at least, that's what the playlist he shows everyone and claims he listens to consists of. In actuality he is obsessed with Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and most girly and trendy artists you can think of. Total fanboy.

If everyone were to find out, it would surprise no one. Reki oftens ends up on the aux by default.

Langa, to everyone's shock, is into very deep and emotional pieces. His playlist is full of meaningful and powerful lyrics with a variety of different music styles. A large portion of his playlist is actually emo. Shadow is very proud of him for this. Reki teases him to the ends of the freaking earth for this, which leave Langa confused (he has no idea what "emo" even is). Langa is rarely given the aux since he has no ability to "read the room" on what type of music is the current vibe and will play heart wrenchingly sad tracks during friendly races.

Shadow, to no one's surprise, is a punk rock fanatic. He knows so many rock bands it's actually a little scary and will shout enthusiastically any time someone plays a song from a band he's into. He steals the aux often and refuses to return it. No one really complains though. Except Miya but meh.

Cherry used to be a devout emo kid, but now primarily listens to instrumental pieces filled with obscure flutes and whatnot. He never even attempts to claim the aux, for he knows what his fate would be. Plus he's smart enough to know the shakuhachi isn't the vibe.

Joe has no music taste and will find something nice to say about anything you put on. He's annoying like that. The one time he was given the aux he just shuffled a random playlist and next thing they knew Froggy Fresh was playing.

He never was given the aux again.

okay so

what had originally gotten you totally and entirely infatuated with any and all things pertaining to Reki Kyan was the way he skateboarded

you loved how happy and carefree he seemed when he was cruising around and the driven concentration that controlled his actions and pulled his bottom lip between his teeth when he was attempting new tricks

the more days passed the more you found your gaze being drawn towards him. it had started with you watching him zip past you on your walk home from school, then you started watching him do laps around the school grounds during free periods, and eventually it escalated to you staring even when there wasn’t a skateboard involved

(little did you know he was watching you too, you just happened to watch each other at different times. mutual, avoiding, boarder-line-stalking watching)

once, your eyes just so happened to catch a infinitesimal glimpse of one another’s, and the rest is history

back to the skateboard

you loved to watch him skateboard, arguably more so now that you were dating than you had before because now he carried on conversations littered with optimistic laughter while he cruised along and looked at you for your smile of approval when he finally landed that trick

there was just something so wonderful about watching him do something that made him that happy, and seeing it made you want to experience it as well

for a while, you were scared to ask him to teach you. your size had held you back from thinking it even as a possibility, as you had thought he would tell you it would be beyond your capabilities and he wouldn’t be able to teach you. (but of course precious Reki wouldn’t even think such a thought, much less speak it)

one day, you were following your normal routine. you had finished school and made your way to a local skate park and sat on the bench with your homework while occasionally staring glancing at Reki skating.

halfway through a lazy kick flip he had caught your staring and, after recovering from his fall that resulted from him staring back and not paying attention to what he was doing, he made his way towards your bench

and then, as if he had been reading your mind the entire time, he asked the question

you stared at him in pink-tinted shock, unresponsive even as he waved a hand in front of your face

“Y/n?” Reki asked, leaning forward on the pegs of his skateboard so he was now more level with you, “Did you hear me?”

This seemed to pull you out of your stupor and your blinked a few times, for once finding yourself looking everywhere but at him. After a few moments you finally recovered and faced him once more.

“Sorry, what?”

“Do you want me to teach you? To skate?”

Reki held up his skateboard as if to emphasize his question, holding the confused glint in his eyes at your previous stance but staring at you positively nonetheless, happily awaiting your answer.

You wanted to immediately jump at the offer, to eagerly nod and take a wobbly step onto the glorified plank of wood, you nearly did, but you were stopped. A nagging, smirking voice in the back of your mind held you back, keeping a firm hand on your shoulder that held you just out of reach of what you wanted. You could feel your fingertips grazing the splintered edges, hear the faint instructions of Reki in front of you, but that voice was much louder than him. It told you you couldn’t, not without making a fool of yourself. ‘How could you even think of doing what he does?’ it asked. What made you think you could come close to having such the grace he did in each of his motions when you were how you were?

You were scared of stepping on the board, scared of pushing off, scared of falling, but most importantly you were scared of the possibility you may be unteachable because of your size. You were scared of seeing the awkward expression that would be on Rekis face as you once again tried and once again failed despite his best attempts at helping.

You looked up at him again, fully expecting that expression to already be displayed before you, but instead you see his happy, loving smile. The voice deafens a little and it’s grip loosens. Your fingers glide over the deck.

“Are you sure?” You asked cautiously, looking between the board and your boyfriend.

“Of course! Why wouldn’t I be?”

You pressed your lips into a line and fiddled with your hands. “I wasn’t sure if I could because…”

His brow draws together as he tries to piece together the end of your sentence before releasing itself and shooting towards his hairline as the words fall into place.

“Why would you think that?” He asks, incredulously. “Everyone can skateboard, size doesn’t matter! As long as you want to do it, you can!”

You smiled at him, at the comfort his words provided. You fully stepped forward and took hold of the skateboard, letting your fingers curl around the thin sides and bear its weight.

With one final shove of resolve filled with Rekis reassurance you pushed yourself off the bench, nodding at the redhead that you now stood beside. He smiled at you again and lead you to the middle of the skate park where it was open and flat, glancing around momentarily before dropping his skateboard down onto the concrete.

“Here — hold my hands so you can step on.” He instructed. You did so, albeit shakily, heavily leaning on his support as your feet found their way onto the board.

“Like that?” Your voice is shaky, much like your legs.

“Yep! Move your feet a little bit more apart — like that, yeah. Okay, now take your back foot and push off just a little bit and make sure you put it back in the right spot.”

You took a deep breath and did as he told you. Your hands stayed latched to his and you moved at just a little over a foot a minute, but when you turned to face him again you found his smile wide and mirroring yours. There was joy in watching, but there was just as much in doing.
