Ellen and I chose to adopt a skeleton yesterday!! He was the last of his kind at the spirit Halloween and having seen the other skeletons in their enclosure, the moment I looked into his eye sockets I knew he was special.

Carrying him home caused many passers-by to enquire over his health, but I assured them his was a healthy weight for his breed.

Once home Ellen and I gave him the name Shelly the Skelly (short for Sheldon the skeleton of course) and we noticed that once he warmed up to us, he is her exact height so fits her clothes well. She's going to have him stand in for her in some of this week's zoom meetings I think!

As requested by @i-am-a-stupid-robot, a few photos of the spoooooooooky Paris catacombs:

We went in late May and it was chilly and very, very quiet. The queue to go in lasted around an hour because it's a major tourist destination, but when we were down there, it was like it was just me and my friends. You could hear water dripping, and the occassional voice in the distance. And everywhere you look, the bones are organised in this similar style. Like I said, wandering off the route is a good way to get lost for days and in fact people have done that.

For real though, if you're ever in Paris, you have to go here.

I’m fleshing out the ancestries rn in preparation for some play testing and I’m just losing it over the Undead ancestries XD we got three flavors

Tragic (Ghosts, lost spirits that constantly lose their memories over and over again but can’t move onto the afterlife until they find the missing piece of their soul)

Silly (skeletons, heal by stealing bones from corpses and can collapse into an inconspicuous pile of bones at will)

Horror (zombie, beings of rotting flesh that can only heal by devouring living flesh and the more flesh they eat, the more alive they appear)

Fun times can’t wait to play them XD
