Heh heh thank you! :D It initially came from my original blog “sketchinfun,” and I wanted to alter it to fit my fanart blog being a place where I just post silly stuff (or “junk food” art).  I like fries as a snack so I decided to combine it with sketchinfun, and tada! PUNS! :D I’m glad it was able to give you a laugh.

I recently upgraded my cintiq, and felt like testing it out by doing some sketches of my OC, Niall for fun.  Still getting used to the increased pressure sensitivity since it’s a lot higher than my former cintiq.  Yehhhh

Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the composition studies! So many shots in that show are just so well composed and clear, that I was itching to do some studies.  I’m hoping to do some more film studies off of the show since man do I love it

For Feboardary I felt like doing an updated version of my own personal process when it comes to approaching storyboarding.  I use this process when I storyboard for work, and I always prefer to draw my initial thumbnail pass traditionally since it’s easier for me to rework and sketch up ideas. Whenever i bring in my traditional thumbnails in, I always have to resize them for the composition and widen my shot since my thumbnails are almost always shot too close to the camera. My final “clean” boards tend to be a mix of rough/clean mainly for time, and clarity.

Felt like drawing a magical girl since I wanted to do some pastel coloring with my Ohuhu and Prismacolor marker sets.

Since I finished my storyboard pass of my song sequence, I decided to celebrate with drawing a faux VHS cover for the sequence for fun. The animatic will be coming later this month or next month due to scheduling, but I’m stoked to get it together! Now to....come up with dialogue....for the small section at the beginning of the sequence....
