I was feeling really restless and couldn't focus on any of the Tasks I want to be doing, but I also didn't want to go for a walk because the sidewalks are covered in ice right now, so I made a jumprope out of a pair of old curtain pulls and skipped a little bit and that seems to have sufficiently tired me out. Hopefully now I can get back to work on the glove sewing video!

Girls skipping rope on East 46th St. near 3rd Avenue, March 21, 1940. I'm not sure whether this is in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Neurotypical people make no sense to me. Yesterday I said "I hear fireworks" in a normal tone and mum took that as a hint that I was mad at her for not being able to get tickets to a firework display for bonfire night this year. I wasn't being sarcastic (you could quite obviously tell from my tone of voice), I was just pointing out the noise because I like to point out the obvious for some reason. Like today I said "skipping rope!" while pointing at a skipping rope in the dance studio. No I wasn't hinting towards anything, I was just acknowledging it's existence as it wasn't there on Friday.
How do neurotypical people twist something as a simple statement into some elaborate hidden message?
