I'm at a serious dilemma.

Trying to write fake AU lore for the elders is kind of cringe considering there's not a whole lot of info on them in the first place, but...

Let's talk about Teth, if only for a moment.

A lot of people portray Teth as overly serious, easily irritable, and one who takes exceptional pride in his craft.

Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that interpretation at all, but the more I watch Teth's cutscene the more another archetype of his character comes to mind, one that's significantly more cursed.

Gonna have to post most of his cutscene because I'm too autistic to describe anything coherently

The way he jumps down like a starving leopard the second he gets a whiff of the smoke from your skid's candlelight

The way he snatches away the flame to bash at it with a hammer as quickly as possible before haphazardly tossing it to the side

All while barely registering that your skid is even there

Doesn't look like it's out of malice or annoyance anymore, in my general opinion, more like a very intense, almost animalistic excitement

I've seen other serious, elegant looking spirits turn out to be dubious little creatures (like Crab Whisperer and their goofy ahh antics during Days of Bloom '22), so I'm curious if this might be the same scenario for Teth as well?

That he's not so rude so much as he's completely feral?

Better yet what if it's a sort of "Jekyll and Hyde" situation in which one moment Teth is doing Standard Elder Activities and the next he's scaling trees in fractions of a second and stalking around the forest on all fours at 2:45 AM?

Someone enters his temple for prayers, he forgets that he's supposed to be in Elder Mode and he just growls at the strange, trembling thing in his territory?

Idk. I'm rambling.
