okay but why do we never see any other elves in yonderland??? is our elf the only one?? were they all destroyed when the other lands fell?? do they just live below the ground or somewhere really secluded away from everything???? help? ????
what if Alhaitham's boob gem is something he had glued to himself in his childhood out of scientific curiosity and hasn't been able to get it off ever since like flint lockwood
I think something abt luffy that makes him so enchanting is that he's introduced as being very silly and goofy, and you kind of expect him to be humbled or experience the harsh reality of what being a pirate actually means (cruelty, theft, actually being a bad person etc.) and have to adjust his world view, but then fucked up things start happening and he's still silly and goofy about it and you find that he actually wasn't sheltered at all and he is just a little fucked up himself, but still happy and loving
and then its Everyone Else who has to adjust to what his idea of a pirate is bc he keeps winning and they're just like "yeah okay. whatever. I guess thats what this is in now."
thinking about imperatrix and the implications raised that it was because nestor took debbie that the ‘darkness’ got to her entirely - ‘with you gone, the darkness consumed her.’ so does this mean that if things had been left as they were and debbie had stayed with her sister, they would have somehow balanced each other out? would growing up alongside each other, the good in debbie influencing imperatrix and the evil in her influencing debbie, have prevented the other lands falling and imperatrix going down the dark path she did??? and when did imperatrix find out she HAD a sister????? since they were separated when they were babies and i can’t imagine her mother would be overly keen to tell her about her twin, did imperatrix find out about debbie when she got older and this became a driving force in her quest for power?? to have her sister ‘rule by her side’, and perhaps even prove herself to her father? the fact she remembers nestor’s lullaby shows the influence her father had on her, and maybe she felt betrayed when she learned about his apparent favour of debbie as she was the one he ‘saved’.
grown up being told she was the one destined to rule, the only one who was strong enough, only to be ultimately defeated by the sister she originally wanted to rule beside her. idk man family dynamics always get me and this is super fascinating
