***** BRENN HUSET NED (2013), Frode Grytten, Forlaget Oktober, Norge So I have been reading this book 'Burn down the house' in Norwegian (Nynorsk), thanks @slashonmydash, and it's essentially a fanfiction about the Clash. Like, real-people-fanfiction but totally printed on paper and sold in bookstores. Which gives me hope for my own career as an author, LOL, but I digress.

Reading this novel is astonishing. This man, Frode Grytten, in his fifties, is writing more sentimental wallowing about this punk band than I ever did, EVEN AS A SMITTEN SEVENTEEN-YEAR OLD FANGIRL. This is amazing. Frode, my man, cheers to you.

I cannot believe they let this go to print. It has their real names and all the real dates and locations. Two of these people are dead but the other two are still very much alive. How does copyright / portrait right work in Norway? Must be nice...

Of course, it’s called Lulu and Lucia! The subtitle says it’s “a story of friendship, love and few battles!”

Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be a book that exists in real life, but Lady F’s reactions while reading it imply that it’s a little bit saucy!

Heya! Quick question: how would the selling go, through paylpal? Also I am interested in Cherik, Top Gear, Edgar Wright, Hot Fuzz and obscure "other" stuff you might have, if there is more :")

You’ll be happy to know you are first to ask for Cherik ones, and they are done by a popular artist. 8 of them, half are R18 (one is a bizarre Cat Boy Erik one, wowsers) and not the really slim fanbooks either, just those 8 is almost a kilo.  Makes up for the Top Gear ones which are done by a not-so-great artist who is nonetheless an ardent fan. You are also first to ask for Hot Fuzz - there’s a couple.

The Edgar Wright is just a one-off as I recall, unless I threw another in the stack? Have to check. Odd ones, yes, got lots of those. There’s  a Tom Hiddleston one in the stack, and a Cumberbatch/Freeman, RPFish stories. There’s Rorschach, one Walking Dead, a random Final Fantasy Cloud book...

update…Have just picked up a Wright one, was near top of stack - it’s a slightly romantic slightly m/m one with Wright having a home movie night date with… Quentin Tarantino, lol, I must have got it for fun. They don’t even kiss.
