Frog Post (OOC post)

Feeling nostalgic, I wanna go down memory lane with my previous VTuber persona: SleepyFroggo

For context: I used to stream under the name Sleepy Froggo, a lazy possessed frog boy who was a runaway prince from a corrupt kingdom. I’ve since moved on to my current avatar Sleepy Seraph but I still adore my old one.

First arc: The babu

Back when I didn’t even have legs, I was so innocent and naive to the VTuber scene with the main objective to break out of my shell and make friends.

Second arc: Jock Froggo

A gift from my model mama/gf @keiirisruevt , she has been the biggest supporter of my VTuber journey so far.

Third(ish) arc: Fem Froggo

Also a gift from Kei Mama, because who doesn’t want to feel like a cute girl sometimes amirite fellas..? I really wish I had more chances to use this one, it was so pretty qwq

Fourth arc: Sloth & Pride

At this point of my life I was able to put together money to get higher res models and I decided to expand the lore while I was at it. Sleepy Froggo was but one part of a 7 piece pie that was categorized by the Seven Deadly Sins they represented. The OG boy being Sloth and his alter being Pride, as they were such opposite sides of the same coin.

Final arc: 3D Froggos

I wanted to branch out to 3D streams using body trackers for VR chat and similar games. Unfortunately this is when I flew too close to the sun and couldn’t have this transpire. I had a lot of fun posing these boys however and that is at least worth something for me. This is also around the time I’d go into a hiatus before fully rebranding.

I’ve grown quite attached to all these models and if people were to ask for it, I’d definitely use these models every so often. Starting over on Tumblr is my way of starting fresh with the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years (also I do want to go back to streaming once my current model is done, just not as often because anxiety)

“Where have you been?”  Steve’s voice is a sleepy whisper.  He’s curled up on the far side of their spot, while Bruce is squished up in the corner next to the lamp, reading a book.

A book.

How did Bruce get a book?

Bucky watches Clint drop down next to Bruce and ask him that exact question, but he never hears the answer, because Steve sits up. 

“I was worried.”  

Bucky turns back to face him.  “Worried?”

Steve shrugs.

“Why?”

“You do stupid things when you’re on your own.”

OK, that was possibly nine sentences, but, like, some of them are really short.

man do i feel so terrible for him and Tubbo as well. they're both so young and yet they got caught up in wars, conflict, politics, etc.

they could've been out there living their childhood, being the way teenagers are and shit but they had to sacrifice so much shit for their freedom

Tommy had to experience prolonged isolation from the rest of the smp, while Tubbo had to experience the pressure of being the man in charge of an entire country

even now, even if Dream is in the prison, they're still somewhat suffering, especially Tommy whose mental health has gone down so much since exile that he felt the only way he'll really be free is by offing Dream

linen: gentle with others, works self to the bone, mom friend & proud, likes to be needed, should probably take a break

So I was looking over old asks and it looks like originally Mr.Hippo was going to be very different, what was the thought behind him then vs now??

((OOC: Oh wow that is a VERY old ask you’re referring to!

Well when I initially drew him I had nothing to go on than the fact he’s a hippo, is ion Mediocre Melodies and had a slightly sleepy expression with lidded eyes. So for me, the combination of the expression and the Mediocre thing lended to a forever exhausted gent who is painfully aware that he’s a low end animatronic and has become apathetic towards everything because of it. The others were easier since they had some key features to work off of (Magician, spooky hillbilly banjo murder pig, Fozzie bear, froggo) but Mr.Hippo was kind of ambiguous. I was going to peg him at maybe...thirty-something physically?

However, the voice given through UCN threw all that out the window. It’s amazing how much a voice can shape how the character is portrayed really.
