Mother has had THE WORST luck with previous lovers/boyfriends/husbands. It has to be a curse or something.

Slender is the oldest, and he's the only one who has met all four of her previous lovers.

Slender's father died traumatically on the way to a Demonic Trade Dealing, right after Mother begged him not to go. She wanted time as a family, and away from his work and the stress of the outside world. She was planning on cooking a nice dinner the day after, and proposing the idea of moving closer to the rural terrain.

He was killed by a close friend before he even left the dirt path.

Offender's father was next, and he seemed like a keeper until Offender was born. Their marriage fell apart, and Mother fell into depression, and to top it all off Offender's father got deathly sick from his Mistress with an STI and died only a week after experiencing symptoms. Offender never got to hear his last words.

Trenders father was mute, and after Trender was born he left in the middle of the night and didn't return. Later, Mother found his body in a creek. Murdered.

Splendors father was the only human lover she had. Unfortunately, as sweet, caring, and nice as he was, creatures of the underrealm saw him no differently than the humans in the humanrealm. He was beheaded bringing home birthday cake for Splendors 4th birthday.

Wow, okay that was more than I intended to write.

As a yandere, Mother would be set on keeping her s/o as close as possible to her. She wants to protect them, and keep them safe in the security of her mansion. While her malicious intent shines through her dominating aura often, it's for the greater good.

If you're too scared to leave, no one can hurt you. And besides, she likes the way your cute little face contorts in fear.

Elspeth!

She has always been rebellious and creative! She tried to instill this into her kids as well, and did succeed in a few ways (Octavian's entire personality, Favio's career, Ciero's dress sense).

She was the one who inherited Eldritch Hall from her parents. She left it to Zephyr when she began to travel; she didn't need it any more.

Elspeth is very chaotic. Yet in a classy way.

She's the fun grandparent. Jack the smaller called her Gigi when he was first adopted because he couldn't quite say anything right.

She's been to Antarctica once. Took a selfie with a penguin.

She was very supportive when Favio came out as trans, and bought him his first binder.

She started dating/seeing people again roughly seven months after her husband died. The two were married for years, yes, but they weren't truly in love. It was more arranged than anything.

With the fiance I have written her to have (guess who - I dont think you will), this serves as the first time she has truly fallen deeply in love. She thinks this one is her soulmate.

She definitely comes about a lot. Bringing presents from every place she's been to for the kids. Especially her four big ones.

She sees Mira almost as a surrogate daughter in a way.

Jack the larger was approved by her straight away when she saw them come to her. She absolutely adored how happy they were together.

When her kids were little, she got all of their things monogrammed. When Favio came out, she got everything he had done redone so he wouldn't have to deal with the dysphoria. Easiest was probably his baby blanket.

She threw a brick at Stonewall.

She went to the area 51 raid.
