I’ve always viewed Tim/Masky and the operators past relationship much deeper then just simply an illusion that Tim had, atleast in my au.

I’ve always viewed him as The operators first “creation” and its origin stemmed from Tim, using him as a child to grow more power through his belief and also FORCING Tim to bring children into the forest- Unknowing that these bullies were sacrifices to the operators power. The idea of this cycle being re lived through the pastas later on is such a chilling idea and Masky wouldn't handle the idea he caused EVERYTHING not just MH very well :p

HABITS fascinated by the fact they all “evolved” and “changed” and found a father even when he “left them alone in the dark, with nothing” whereas HABIT has stayed the same, even after he has been “alone” his whole life, he’s frustrated.

( Also the “left them in the dark with with nothing” part is sooo interesting if you look at it like, HABIT is a powerful ass entity, he could potentially have everything, yet he still cant gain the control/power they found/had. YKNOW? )

He has been around the longest yet he still can’t “adapt” to his surroundings, he cant comprehend what he wants to change , but he knows he needs it and cant get it.

But they can.

Every time.

In “half-acre of ash” I feel jealously and resentment come off him tbh.

His hosts body changes, it becomes “unstoppable”.

But HE is still the same.

He cant change he stays the same.

Every time.

HABIT HEADCANON/ANALYSIS?

I DONT FUCKING KNOW WHAT THIS IS-

Just to preface, I don’t like HABIT nor do I find him or Evan attractive, this is genuine character exploration and I just want to appreciate an amazingly detailed character.

This is in relation to “:D” on the EveryManHybrid Channel

I think HABIT was confused and maybe even intimidated by Jeff.

Well not like intimidated but he had to have felt some sort of confusion since he is an entity, as far as I know he probably lacks human emotions and the ability to empathise.

I may be entirely wrong but..

Looking at this:

““I won't scream, I won't beg, I won't cry." But you will. They always do. And in that moment, I'll be there. To piss in your wounds, and to burn you alive. You think you're untouchable? Not even God can hide from me!”

To me this seems like a desperate attempt to prove to Jeff that he is HABIT, he is every deadly sin, he has to be scared, but he’s not, he’s numb.

He even goes as far to say he is greater than God, a fear tactic to reinforce power and control

HABIT is displaying narcissistic tendencies there:

He insults Jeff to get under his skin, HABIT wants prove to Jeff that he is below him to try gain some sort of reaction, he feeds off fear.

He compares Jeff to Vinnie by saying “You wanna figure everything out” wheras he describes Vinnie as a protector.

Narcissists dislike being questioned because questioning them establishes that they’re not in total control, HABIT turned it all around on Jeff and made the situation confusing and in a way where Jeff would question his self esteem and confidence in his findings/himself because he felt Jeff was questioning his power due to his lack of reaction.

“And in that moment, I'll be there. To piss in your wounds, and to burn you alive. You think you're untouchable? Not even God can hide from me!”

He continuously hits Jeff where it hurts, so he would break down, emotionally, Jeff did not do that however, Jeff did not emotionally break down infront of HABIT at any point, he became emotionally numb over time, HABIT being non human, like I said, doesn’t not understand this, it’s frustrating and it’s getting in the way of his power trip.

He is exaggerating his own “achievements” and importance in order to get this power trip.

“But you will. They always do.”

Reinforcing he has the control, Jeff does not.

He seems to just be convincing himself though, maybe Jeff made him slightly insecure.

Habit can control Jeff’s emotions, his fear EVERYTHING.

But Jeff doesn’t care, he has become disinterested in the whole situation even his own murder, he does not feel the specific fear that HABIT seeks and devours.

HABIT therefore does not NEED Jeff, Jeff does not fulfil the hunger, he’s a benign issue that is no longer relevant.

I think he tortured Jeff to elicit some fear just to spite Jeff or convince himself that he is that powerful entity, he is HABIT.

He wasn’t able to gain the “natural fear” anymore so he had to scare him by….killing him.

He could not actually break Jeff the way he broke Vinnie.

Jeff did not follow HABIT like a dog, Vinnie did, Vinnie was interesting enough to “stick around”.

Vinnie was ultimately part of HABITS plan, Jeff went off script and became irrelevant.

Could he have just killed him cause he wanted?

Yeah but :( guys pls

This felt like I was writing an English essay and it makes no sense because I honestly don’t even fully get the lord even after 6 years but I wanna share my thoughts anyway
