The reason for Salazar Slytherin's dread over muggles/muggleborns?

Previously said I think that from this quote

That slytherin hails from Norwich/East Anglia due to the most common place for "fen" to come from these locations.

But I looked into witch trials there and guess what I found THE INFAMOUS MATTEW HOPKINS IS FROM EAST ANGLIA.

For those of you who don't know Hopkins was a Christian puritan circa. 1600 and during that time was part of a lot of superstition relating to witches. He went around accusing people with cats or whatever (I'll get into it later) I knew about this dude because of this horrible history episode so go watch that if you want more interesting insight.

But obviously Hopkins caused a problem for the witching and wizarding community of the East and Slytherin grew up in the middle of all that he probably saw how witches and wizards were treated.

In Prisoner of Azkaban we know that Harry's doing homework or summer reading on witches and I think her name was Wimba/Wenda/Welda the weird and it pointed out how there were spells that you could cast that can make fire burning on your skin feel like tickles. So the methods humans used to get rid of witches may not have worked.

But mentally it may have, imagine before all that, maybe the rise of Catholicism and Christianity in England, Salazar people, witches wizards they were living happily with magic there were myths and legends of things like the Loch Ness in Scotland and leprechauns in Ireland and they grew up knowing it was true but then this sudden angst emerged and magic wasn't safe any more these humans started hunting, Slytherins community were living in fear against the human kind. Which was the reason the four founders came together, because they wanted to carry on the traditions and let children understand they're heritage but they needed to make sure it was safe, that no one like Hopkins would find them and try to abuse them. So that's why Salazar wanted there to be no muggleborns and believed in pureblood supremacy, I think it was because of trauma. And that's why he created the chamber of secrets so if his worst fear came true and someone like Hopkins tried to harm Hogwarts, the Basilisk would be a sense of security, because in his eyes muggles were a threat to his people.

I have interacted minimally with slythrnbeauty and mamawolfsmith16 - at least, that I know of. They could very well be behind many of the numerous anon inquiries I receive. I have assessed their platforms, however. Hm.

Marry Simply X. At least I know what I am getting into with that one.

As for the others... Slythrnbeauty reminds me of Narcissa - elegant, tailored, detail oriented, perhaps prone to gossip. She also might not be straight. Mamawolfsmith16 seems to be more attracted to Severus, and may not want any part of this lineup. Unfortunately she has been named.

Bed Slythrnbeauty - she is a Slytherin, she is passionate, elegant - perhaps powerful. Certainly the experience would be...amusing.

Unfortunately, I feel I have nothing in common with someone who prefers wolves to snakes and wishes to bed Severus. Nothing personal.
