JuneJuly | A Dream SMP Tale: Chapter 1

JUNE QUICK BIO >>

"Alright, I'm gonna head off now, thanks for all the subs and follows. Love you all so much. Enjoy the rest of your night- or day for some." Looking through a list of small twitch streamers, June picked one that was online. "Now your mission is to go spread the love to (smalltwitchstreamer). Bye Chat." JuneJuly was known to finish a stream sending the chat to a random small streamer. She turned of the stream with a sigh, streaming took so much out of her. Having to fake smile and laugh for the chat so they didn't catch on. When she first started streaming, she was happy, she loved the chat. More recently though, things have gone downhill. School was rough and she had an overwhelming amount of work to do. And her Uncle expected her to keep on top of everything or else bad things would happen.

If only her family was still alive then it probably wouldn't be like this. June was streaming at the time choosing to sit out the weekly get together her area usually did. Of course she waited all night for them to come back but they didn't. It had rained nothing unusual about that but for some reason their car had rolled all because some American was driving on the wrong side of the road. They didn't make it, clearly and she was left with her horrible Uncle. It had been six months since the accident. And it was all her fault, it actually wasn't but who's going to tell her that? No one, at least not yet anyway. She was meant to go with them but argued extensively making them late, and if they hadn't have been late then maybe they wouldn't have rushed and swerved and rolled.

Suddenly her discord started ringing. Her laptop used to be her school laptop but when she got more money she got a better setup. She was honestly surprised that her chat didn't make such a big deal about the microphone she used and her shitty ear phones. Seeing that tommyinnit was calling she answered, after taking a deep breath and smiling.

"Woman!"

"Child!"

"We are the same age!"

"Not true not true."

He rolled his eyes, "its like a month difference."

"Still counts, now what can I do for you Tommy?" They had bickered but in a friendly way.

"I'm streaming."

"Now you tell me." She smiled- of course she knew he was streaming but she went with the bit. "Hi Chat, how are we today?" She tried to maintain her energy but it was so hard.

"So we're doing Jackbox in 15 minuets, want to join?"

"Yeah sure."

"Awesome, I'll add you to the other vc."

"Thanks. Bye."

He added her to the other discord voice chat as June left to go downstairs and get a drink of water. Filling up a mug with cold water because she loved drinking cold water out of mugs- it was a funny thing her sister would comment about all the time. Gods she missed her. June's body froze as she heard the door unlocking, shit, it could mean only one thing. Her Uncle was home. She was to late to run up the stairs and his eyes locked onto to hers, the stench of alcohol and Gods know what drowned June's senses. His eyes were bloodshot, "did you make me dinner?" He slurred aggressively.

Mentally slapping herself she thought, fuckin shits I forgot how in fucks name did I forget?!

"No. I forgot. I'm sorry." She always microwaved him something to avoid pain.

His bleary expression suddenly morphed into one of anger and he brought the back of his hand up to slap her. But this wasn't her first rodeo and she all ready brought her arms up to cover her face. Something her father had taught her about fighting, always cover your face. That and always get back up.

He grabbed the mug and smashed it on the ground, cold water and ceramic hitting her. "You worthless piece of shit. You're useless. Absolutely useless. You're just as shitty as your mother was."

Anger flared within her, "don't you ever talk about my mother that way."

He growled as he grabbed her, sending her to the ground and sent kick after kick into her stomach. When he finally stopped, growing bored, she limped up the stairs locking the door behind her and pushing her dresser in front of the door just in case.

Going to the bathroom she checked in the mirror to make sure her face was fine for the camera, as usual it was. She was always being hit by her Uncle or getting into street fights at this point it was just who she was.

Pulling a different shirt over her head she sat down and was met with Wilbur's shocked face. June noticed that her mic was unmuted and luckily her camera was off so he didn't see her limp in and barricade her door.

"What the fuck was that? JUNE? Are you ok?"
