I noticed something really REALLY cool about Legends arceus while looking up references, and it's so little, I don't know how many other folks have noticed it!!

The pokedex you get at the beginning of your journey;

Perfect, crisp and brand new! So many pages to fill! Untouched by anyone ever, the first to ever exist! The original pokedex.

But at the end, with a completed pokedex;

The title of the book is all ripped and damaged! It's been through so many surveys and treks out in hisui's wilderness! The edges of the blue cover are faded and dulling, maybe got wet a few times with run ins with outbreaks, being jostled around in a pack exploring around the region. The black binder holding it together after all this time is equally as banged up, probably barely keeping the stuffed pages inside safe and tucked away, but still doing its job.

This is the first ever pokedex, this is the one that began the understanding of pokemon as we know it, bringing humans and pokemon together as friends in the distant future. Before technology advanced and made the pokedex we were first introduced to in Kanto so many years ago.

It's falling apart and has been waterlogged a few times, it's recorded so much and survived raging lords, hordes or pokemon, alphas, an exile, gods of time and space, a banished deity, and faced almighty sinnoh.

And it was written, filled out, carried and protected all this time, by a kid who did their best to help the professor who first met them in Hisui.

And it survived.

back to the daily grind and boy howdy can that head ache! Good times! I found out I am mentally ill in an odd way. I have written 20,900+ words about Cym-K's narrator and Stanley. I also named my Pokemon Character Stanley so when I showed her my Mareep she asked "Oh! Did you name yourself after daddy?" I awkwardly said no. How am I supposed to say it's after my hyperfix and not my late father? Life has problems. In better news I saved some sidewalk worms and then saw a toad! It was a road toad so I chased it away to the grass so the uber didn't smish it. Yay for Bufo Americanis! The common toad! They are silly. I got a pic I can show you. Good news is that I have a vacation soon. I have a special idea for it too! Have a music! The Devil You Know by Blues Saraceno!

Nice!!! Hopefully I'll play enough tsp to read the fic soon (trying to get every ending blind is starting to get tiring I'm tempted to just start looking up how to get certain endings gkdbgkdngj)

!!!! I saw a frog recently too!!! It was incredibly tiny and I almost stepped on it :( a picture would be cool hehe

Destiny

I had thoughts at work while half asleep the other morning, and this was the result.Turns out I hyperfocused so hard i finished it today so yay!

I subscribe to the theory Giratina eeby deebied Ingo to hisui on accident when Volo was first beginning to mess with Giratinas power ripping space time distortions to get Arceus’ attention, Ingo was just at the wrong place at the wrong time ;u;

And Akari/Dawn being given no clear answer about them going home after everything’s said and done is very unfair, but sometimes destiny is fickle like that...

I am not one to write poems and it might not all fit perfectly, but I was running around work when verses were coming to mind and I kept hiding in the back or in the freezer to jot down everything that came to mind, but I’m happy how it turned out in the end XD

I’m stupid proud with how Giratina came out, he just looks really nice, Arceus I’m not entirely happy with but I can’t figure out how to fix him the way I want to have him, so he’s just gonna be as is and I can move on!

And this weren't done completely digitally, the end result yes but almost every big project I start I always do with pencil sketches first, my digital sketching I feel is way too messy and I can be more consistent with my pencil and paper, so I just redo the lines afterwards, so here are the sketches to see how messy they can get with my dumb little notes and things~!

And a bonus close up, how I originally was going to draw Ingos face before settling on the finished version, man’s was gonna go through it XD

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERASRY LEGENDS ARCEUS!!!!

This year I decided to do an older WIP idea i had stored away! I always liked how the game mechanic of the ride pokemon just had them appear in sparkily light, and I've mostly seen some folks in the writing community and others have the noble they call sort of walk in like a normal person would, which is fair!

I had always imagined that, since the ride pokemon were descendants of those who were blessed by Arceus themself, what if that blessing allowed them the power to actually let them travel instantaneously to where the call was made? And they travel as the same light that envelops Arceus to appear before their warden, or heros very eyes. Why have such a sparkily appearance if it wasn't because of blessed power?

So then came this idea! :D

This game and its story still live in my head rent free even at the second year since release, and it won't ever leave i think! In the past 2 years, many artists and writers have made some of my most favourite things that have fueled this obsession, and many continue to give their all and best to further the community with their creations simply out of fun and enjoyment. Heres to another year of PLA hyperfixations and hopefully many more to come!!

Ordered this dude just short of a week ago and he survived all night on top of my apartments mailboxes somehow hhhhhhhhhh!!

THIS CARD IS SO DAMN PRETTY AND OMINOUS!!! God I love Hisuian Zoroarks design so much. It may not show well in the picture but the only part thats got the holographic shine on the Zoroark is the eye and its so cool!!! The dark wisps and snow (bubbles maybe??) Dont shine either but it adds to the background holo so well.

Im happy to add this to my Legends Arceus card collection ;w;

Thank you very very much!! Uncle Sningo is the best honorary uncle they could have, however, no matter how much you try to discipline sneaslings with a booming voice.....

They will always be unruly rascals when they lose baby privileges, and their is struggle in numbers against Ingo XD

I'd imagine they have some manners with Lord Electrode, what with him being a beast of a living bomb, but Melli is fair game (if they can bother him without getting caught!)

In the end Sneasler will set her brood straight, gotta have respect for others in the highlands, specially the humans! Humans can give pets and snacks! It's always the males that cause the most trouble too, never the little girls like the one in his hand XD
