i miss bugs so bad. its mid april and there's hardly been a buzz in the air. how long has it been since ive seen a ladybug hobbling on a blade of grass. what about butterflies dancing from flower to flower or hoverflies zipping from bud to bud. my lights are on at night and yet my windows are noticably unharrassed by moths & other nightly bugs. where are millipedes. where are pondskaters. where are the spiders suspended on the sideview mirrors of cars. hell, even regular old flies. bees. wasps. ants. i see so few of them now. this is such a weird thing to see happen in my lifetime. i really miss just seeing bugs around.

Letter Prompts! Give me the [ Mistake ] letter! :> That one sounds like it can be fun!

Someone woke up to find a mysterious letter in their mailbox. It's soft to the touch and ornated with green leave stickers, sealed with a beautiful light teal wax seal that has a wind chime flower stamped into it. They find it a bit strange at first, as they have never gotten any kind of mail like this before, but went on to opening it nonetheless. Since it could only be meant for them, right?

As their hands go on to open the neatly decorated case, they get slapped by an intense smell of lotus honey and probably some kind of hibiscus and lavender scented perfume, just oozing out of the slightly crampled paper inside. "Wow, okay, this is getting *really* weird" they probably think to themselves.

A few minutes later, after the intense aroma wears off, it may be possible to read it afterall! The letter reads as followed:

"Oh my Dearest, Only Love, my heart aches to be with you again. I miss every little breath, every warming glimpse you give to me. It's only been a day, but I already feel the urge to feel the touch of your fingers, the imprint they make on my skin as they burn, and how they get hotter as your blush grows on your body when I embrace you. I know I act coy, and I'm a jerk sometimes, but in reality, you are the only one who ever saw me this way, and the thought of it makes me drunk. No one can know of our relationship, for they don't understand, but I still want to pursue your love, for it is sweeter than honey, and truer than any word Nivara could say in a thousand years. (Please don't tell her I said that..) Ahem, I wish to meet up in secret again, unknown from the world. I'll be waiting for you by night. I need to feel your warmth again.

THE HEAD VAMPIRES??? :ZOOMEYES:

YEAH. Despite. 90% of the sonaverse posts being abt the heavenly trio there is an actual story outside of them sjdkfn. Within vampire society there are a few ruling groups that hold power and they are VERY oppressive and controlling of their members down to controlling their vampires' first bites.

Some vampires managed to break away from these groups and together established their own safe haven of a town. Once they've built themselves up a little bit they turn to raids and 'party crashing's on the bigger groups, in order to help vampires escape and offer them a chance at a better life. Some accept, some don't.

Within the town the first escapees and a select few act as some from of government, mostly to work on protecting their haven and conducting these raids. Sona runs into them at some point and eventually joins them, agreeing with their cause, driven by still holding a grudge against the vampires involved in him being turned. He ends up getting a place there as well but he generally doesn't stay there/stays at his old place more often.

They don't like him for. the cannibalism. and frequency in which he becomes a danger to others (& himself) but he's an asset of decent value to them (good at hitting stuff really hard /hj) so they tolerate him.

Barely.

#he got stuck in a demon box trap roughly like the size of a jewelry box once and they just kinda. left him in there for a while until Dae- #made a scene. some of them have generally good reasons to be wary though #some of them *glances at the guy I havent named* are just kind of assholes #djkfkjdfj im realizing now how many of my ocs plotlines are #'there's a weird traumatized little guy with weird powers (likely very related to eachother) and people dont like them for that' #favorite character in the town is probably the Snail Kid #sonaverse #lore dump

The post office is accepting job applications at this time as well, the funding has recently been approve to expand services.
