BLACK (& WHITE) CAT FRIDAY!
Rufio is 4 years-old and sponsored by Dr. Bronwyn Purcell. SNAP Cats rescued Rufio from Contra Costa County, CA. Look at that face!!! Rufio doesn't have Manx Syndrome, but it's the closest description for what he does have. Rufio pees in the box, but poop just sorta-kinda falls out whenever it feels like it. Needless to say, Rufio's kind of a messy kitty. Rufio's on Miralax to keep him regular, and he takes it like a champ with his wet food! Other than that, he's a normal, healthy, playful, active kitty who loves laps and attention (and those spring toys... LOVES those spring toys!).
If you're interested in Rufio please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 star review: My baby is thriving I'm so happy that I was able to find a pill form with a large dosage so that I didn't have to give my baby 6 pills at once. It was just 1 pill a day. He is doing so much better. You wouldn't even know he had been so sick. I don't think he would have survived much longer if I hadn't of found these pills. Now he's back to his normal sweet self and destroying my house like normal lol. www.gs441524fipcats.com

WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!
Bea is 2 years 8 months-old and sponsored by Leah Hennen. SNAP Cats rescued Bea from Oakland, CA. Bea does not have any special needs because she came to us bonded with her brother, Bertie, who is a dwarf kitty with ataxia. Once they were here for a while, the two de-bonded (is that a word?), and Bertie was adopted in November 2021.
Bea is the typical, playful cat who can’t seem to run out of energy. Bea LOVES to chase the spring toy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bea will make a wonderful addition to any family who has a cat or two about her age. If you don't have a cat or two, we can also help with that!
Please note that Bea underwent GS-441524 treatment for FIP in the beginning of 2022. Since her treatment ended in March 2022, her response to the treatment has been extremely positive. Bea shows absolutely no signs of FIP at all. Although we can’t guarantee she won’t develop FIP again (we can’t guarantee ANY cat won’t develop FIP), we’re almost certain that she won’t since she's gone more than 22 months without any signs of it returning.
If you’re interested in Bea please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

A "WHY IS WILLIAM STILL HERE" WEDNESDAY!
This is William. He’s 6 months-old and STILL needs a sponsor! SNAP Cats rescued William from Orange County, CA. We received an email that three ataxic kittens needed rescue or they’d be euthanized. Their medical notes stated that they all had a fractured pelvis, and William also had a fractured stifle (knee).
Hey, kittens are small. We can squeeze them in.
When they arrived here.. Huh. No ataxia. And William’s knee looked perfectly fine. Yes, kittens heal quickly, but…
Anyway, William, and his two sisters, Molly and Ginny, don’t have any special needs. William’s a typical playful kitten, who loves toys and human attention. And, yes, he’s very cute! William is not bonded with his sisters so he can be adopted separately. However, William will need a playmate about his own age in his new home so he can continue to learn social skills, and direct his energy at another kitten instead of your ankles.
If you’re interested in William please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

WHITE(ISH) CATS WEDNESDAY!
Meet Ginny (calico) and Molly. These sisters are 8 months-old and have no special needs. Ginny is sponsored by Alice Weigel; Molly by Sage Cleek. SNAP Cats rescued these two from Orange County, CA. Okay. Why do we have non-special needs kittens? Funny story. Ginny and Molly (and William who we posted last week) supposedly had fractured pelvises that caused them to be ataxic. Really? Huh. Don’t see it. Don’t get it. Not impressed with the diagnosis. ‘Cause these two girls (and William) walk and move just fine. No wobbles. No problem. Our vet checked them over and found no abnormalities. So, these three are typical kittens: playful, love attention, and get along great with other cats and kittens.
Ginny and Molly really enjoy each other’s company so we want them to be adopted together. Sure, you can have William as well, but these two definitely need to be together.
If you're interested in Ginny and Molly please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

STAN THE MAN!
Stanley is 7 years 7 months-old and sponsored by Michael Snider. SNAP Cats rescued Stanley from Hanford, CA. Stanley is a real sweetheart! He gets along great with the other kitties here, and could probably tolerate a cat-friendly dog. We’re not sure if Stanley will use the litter box all of the time, but he makes an effort to go there… sometimes. Since he’s been here he’s gained a bit more control of his functions. But, he's basically incontinent. Which means he's a very messy, bath-a-day kitty. But look at that face. Is a bath-a-day too much to ask?! We think not!
AND, look at this video that we took of Stan when he first arrived at SNAP Cats - https://youtu.be/ets8DGzNzUU?si=KxMFl8vNf2WO4YBU.
If you're interested in Stanley please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/adoption-process/. Thanks!

This beautiful girl is Mary Ann. She’s 10 months-old and FeLV+. Mary Ann is sponsored by Cathy Blackstone. SNAP Cats rescued Mary Ann from Oakland, CA. Mary Ann was adopted but then retuned to the shelter because she tested FeLV+. Alane, who has surrendered FeLV+ kitties to us in the past, saved Mary Ann from sure euthanasia, and kept her safe until we could take her here. Mary Ann is a very energetic and playful kitten. She loves to run and play with the other kittens that’re about her age. She also loves human attention, including being brushed and doted over. If you have a FeLV+ kitty and are looking for another, or are catless and looking to add a few kitties to your household, Mary Ann (and one of her playmates) will make a wonderful addition to your family! GB (THE CAT FORMALLY KNOWN AS GOOFBALL)
This is GB. He’s 9 years 3 months-old and sponsored by Rick Maifeld. SNAP Cats rescued GB from Long Beach, CA. When GB came to SNAP Cats his name was Goofball. Uh. No. Not in our house. So he’s now known as GB. GB is the sweetest kitty ever! He loves attention, head rubs and body pets. Oh, and wet food. LOVES the wet food. GB’s ataxia is moderate. He’s not always aware of where his feet are and can sometimes knuckle them, but other than that he gets around great. GB uses the litter box 100% of the time and gets along great with the others here. He’s the perfect low-maintenance kitty to add to any household.
If you’re interested in GB please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks. SNAP Cats uses Smart Cat, all natural cat litter.

Frodo is 5 years 9 months-old and sponsored by Cathy Blackstone. SNAP Cats rescued Frodo from Dubai (UAE). Frodo is a big, smart, alpha street cat that lets everyone here know that he’s the boss. He follows human instructions/demands very well, though, sometimes acting more like a dog than a cat. Although we haven’t tried it yet, we think Frodo will do well on a leash (with harness). It might exhaust some of his relentless energy. With this in mind, Frodo would be best as an “only” cat.
If you’re interested in Frodo please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

This beautiful girl is Gala. She's 3 years 7 months-old and sponsored by Carrie Adams. SNAP Cats rescued Gala from Dubai (UAE). Gala is the sweetest cat ever! She cannot get enough attention. Gala’s the first one to greet you when you come in the room, and follows you around looking for pets and rubs. Gala gets along with other cats really well. But don’t know about dogs. If you’re looking for a wonderful companion who wants to be with you all of the time, Gala’s the one for you!
Since Gala is FeLV+ she'll need to be with other FeLV+ kitties or be an only kitty.
If you’re interested in Gala please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

This senior sweetie is Cricket. According to Yolo County Animal Services, Cricket can't get enough love! She’s eager and enthusiastic for attention and pets! Cricket is happy and loves everyone. She loves being held and you can hold her close and she will just purr and relax in your embrace. Cricket doesn't get ruffled by other kitties at all, and is quite simply the sweetest cat in the world! Watch Cricket in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JicNHvz3EKU
Cricket came to the shelter as a stray, with her beautiful, long fur tangled in mats. Cricket may be hyperthyroid based on her appetite (we will do bloodwork), and a felt bilateral thyroid slip. She’s also very petite at 5.3 lbs. Cricket also needs a dental cleaning.
As Yolo County Animal Services stated: “Cricket is way too sweet to have our shelter be the last home she knows!”
So the rest is history.
Thank you, Yolo County Animal Services for making sure that Cricket found rescue with SNAP Cats!

This handsome man is Ross. He’s 5 years 4 months-old and sponsored by Amber Wells. SNAP Cats rescued Ross from Fresno, CA. For being 5+ years-old, Ross is a very mellow man. It’s as if he’s practicing for his senior years. Ross is very friendly with people, and most other cats. Only exception are cats who get in his face. Then he’s not so nice. Just defending himself. No stalking or aggressive behavior. Ross will fit in nicely with a family who either has other cats or not.
Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Ross will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of him.
BTW: Ross is a Cherubim. It’s a breed of Ragamuffin. Look it up.
If you’re interested in Ross please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

This is beautiful girl is Lotus. She’s 11 months-old and is sponsored by Teresa Edwards. Lotus was born with her rear knees on backwards! Does she care? NO! Lotus gets around just fine and uses the litter box 100% of the time. Okay. Sometimes she comes up a bit short of getting in. But she really tries so we give her an "A" for effort! Lotus is extremely friendly and will follow you around for attention and pets. She gets along well with the others here, and will make a great addition to any family with or without cats.

BEAUTIFUL BONNIE!
Tumblr media
This is Bonnie. She's 1 year 3 months-old and sponsored by Mary DeVincenzi. SNAP Cats rescued Bonnie from Kings County (CA). When Bonnie first arrived with her brother, Clyde, they were very bonded. Since then, the two have gradually de-bonded (there’s that word again!), so, although we’d like to see the two adopted together, Bonnie and Clyde can go separately if needed. Bonnie can be a bit skittish to begin with, but once she gets to know you she’ll warm up quickly, especially if there’s wet food involved! Despite missing a back paw, Bonnie gets around great. Her leg stays sore-free, so it shouldn’t be an issue in the future. She did have a hematoma on her ear, thus the crinkling, but it’s healed, and we think adds a bit of character. If you’re interested in Bonnie please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks. SNAP Cats uses Smart Cat, all natural cat litter.
