Reader is the type that get scared easily, so snatcher use it to his advantage in a plan, like watching a scary movie with them or telling a spooky story , or even setting up a scary prank with the help of his minions, in the goal to have reader cuddle up to them

Snatcher x Reader - The Scare Plan

“So...” You cleared your throat after a pause, “What movie are we watching, Snatcher?”

You and the King of Subcon were on your living room couch, and for the past ten minutes, he has been searching through movies on the streaming service you probably spent just a little too much on. You’ve watched a variety of movies with him before, but he seems very... intent on finding a particular one, even taking a moment to read through the summaries of each movie or to watch a little bit of the trailer. Though, as he searched for the perfect movie you noticed a pattern with what he was looking through— horror films.

Snatcher... let out a huff in response to what you said, taking a moment to look through a couple more movies... “We,” he began, going back to a previous movie, “Will be watching this one!” He exclaimed.

...You gulped, looking at him nervously. “Are... um, are you sure you’d like to watch that one, Snatcher? It... It seems pretty scary...”

Snatcher took a moment to glance towards a nearby closet before turning his head to grin down at you. “Oh, do not worry, my little human! This one isn’t scary at all, I’m sure of it!”

You let out a weak sigh, settling a bit closer to him. “If you say so,” you mumbled. Snatcher wasn’t one to lie to you, was he...?

The movie began pretty slowly, starting off with a typical family moving into a new home. It... wasn’t bad at all, and you thought the little girl was pretty cute looking. Sure, most movies started off slow, but perhaps Snatcher wasn’t lying to you at all—

As soon as the little kid’s head fell off his shoulders, you knew you were incredibly wrong. Snatcher had been lying straight to your face.

You softly whined, pressing your face against his side and looking away from the scene. Though, instead of the hearty laugh or a joking comment you had been expecting, Snatcher stiffened when you leaned more to him. Did he... not want you touching him...?

You blinked slowly, before frowning a little. “O-Oh... I’m sorry, Snatcher, I should’ve asked before um, before...”

Snatcher flicked the end of his tail, and blushed yellow. “I-I-It's FINE!” He hissed, seeming incredibly flustered. He kept his gaze away from you, not daring to look you in the eyes.

You... then pouted. “It doesn’t seem very fine,” you commented, starting to move away from him. “If you don’t want me leaning against you, then you should’ve said something. I’m sorry...”

He let out a grunt, poking your forehead. “It is fine. I... I-I don’t mind you leaning against me— I don’t mind it at all!”

“...Are you sure?”

He nodded, and you... sighed, leaning back against him. This time, he didn’t stiffen up— though, you didn’t know if he made an effort not to, or if he was more comfortable to your touches.

“Okay... but at any point if you feel uncomfortable, let me—” you yelped when one of the adults had their spine ripped out, and you clung to Snatcher’s arm tightly. “Oh goodness gravy!”

Snatcher blinked at the scene... before letting out a soft huff, obviously finding it not scary at all. However, when he glanced back down towards you, he stiffened and blushed again.

When the scene moved onto something more calmer, you let out a deep sigh, glancing over to Snatcher... “Are you sure you’re sure you don’t mind? You keep stiffening whenever I touch you... I can move away if you really want me to.”

Snatcher... seemed to be debating something in his head as his tail smacked against the floor, looking towards the screen before glancing back at you... Soon enough, he let out a deep sigh, slouching against the couch. “I...” He grunted, now looking away, “I... chose a scary movie for a specific reason...”

“A specific reason? You repeated with a blink. “Is it because... it’s October?”

“No, I...” He groaned, flushing brightly. He covered his face in embarrassment as he said— “I... wanted you to cling, and, and to cuddle with me,” he admitted in a small voice.

...You then lowered your bottom lip. “Cute.”

“Sh-Shut up!”

You couldn’t help but giggle, resting your head on him... “You should’ve told me you wanted to cuddle, Snatcher... I’d be very willing to do ssssooo...” You cringed in fear when the little girl on the TV screen morphed into a monster, holding Snatcher’s arm tightly. The scene lasted a few good minutes, and you stayed silent until it was over. “Geez... can we turn on a different movie?” You asked weakly.

Snatcher let out a sigh. “Yeah, yeah... we can chance it to something that you like...” He cleared his throat, looking back towards the closet. “You all can come out now!”

You slowly furrowed your brow in confusion and was about to ask what Snatcher meant by that— but lightly jolted when around twenty of his cloaked minions came out of your small little living room closet. “How could they all fit in there?!” You asked in bewilderment, watching as some of them crawled onto the couch to sit with you and Snatcher while a few others sat on the floor closer to the TV. “And... why were they in there?”

Snatcher... smiled a little sheepishly. “Weeeeell... if the movie didn’t scare you that much, I was going to have them try and scare you instead.”

“Snatcher...” You lowered your bottom lip into a deep pout. Though, you shook your head a moment after. “Whatever, but next time you want to cuddle, or... or anything of the sort, you better ask me first than resort to other options!”

Snatcher seemed just a bit flustered, but nodded along to what you said, relaxing significantly. “A-As you wish,” he said, clearing his throat when his voice cracked.

You... couldn’t help but smile. After picking up the remote, you leaned against him, searching for something more... ‘not-scary’ for everyone to watch...
