i’m really snaxposting recently …

worick shivershriek is a born-and-raised member of a certain group who’s really a glorified informant at best. he ventures out to snaktooth on his own to observe the goings-on of the expedition in secret in hopes of rising in the ranks and potentially discovering what happened to the shivershrieks who came before him. he’s nocturnal, never willingly takes off the mask, and lives in a cave. he writes fanfiction about the grumpuses on the island and lives off hot sauce he steals from wambus. he still considers this an upgrade from his retail job.

Potential Hiatus incoming

My ipad is fuckin dying

While I DO have a backup Ipad, and I am porting everything that I can to it. No doubt in my mind that this is gonna at the very least put a damper on my motivation to work on anything

Buttsnax will keep posting all the way into the 29th dw. Just anything after that is in the air as i try and adapt to the backup

last week I was eating a sub sandwich and I just had a pit in my stomach because I thought about the consequences of eating a Bugsnax until I remembered “Gem this is real life.”

just yesterday I got burgers and I just looked at it and thought “I can’t eat a Bunger, it’s too cute!“ and like five minutes later I realized that I wasn’t in Bugsnax.

A Return, and Some Announcements

So, it's been a while since i've last posted on tumblr (or any other website), huh? Nearly 9 months, in fact.

And there are a bunch of reasons for why I've disappeared, the first being... well, you know. The pandemic has taken a mental toll on all of us, and while it has been rough for me since the start, It took until the beginning of 2021 for my mental health to finally crash into the ground, mostly because of other personal life issues that manifested at the same time. But as of now, I'm fine, vaccinated, and feeling better.

Also, I have some important announcements:

First of all: So, If you look through my art tag, you may notice I've all art related to Chimera Arcana is gone. I made a decision a while ago to basically "restart" the story, as the old story got too muddy and complicated, and there were many things I just plain disliked. So, I have deleted all of my art relating to CA, and I can have a clean slate for now on.

I'm not sure if I will regret this decision in the future, But it was in fact the final push that made me want to return. Also, Most of the concepts and characters I've shown off will be returning, Like Noune, Cynthia, and Herimdesox, although they may look quite different.

Secondly: Chimera Arcana will not be the only thing you will see in the future! I plan on drawing a lot more fan art, primarily relating to Pokemon and Bugsnax, among many other things. In fact, back in august, I started a semi-secret blog for posting Bugsnax art, as I had(and probably still have?) plans for making a fan-webcomic based on the game. However, I will move all Snaxposting to this blog from now on. Additionally, I have participated in several Adoptable RPG groups on DeviantArt, and I plan to return to some of them soon. Maybe the art I make for them will make it here?

Thirdly: For a long time, I have considered doing a series of weekly or daily posts talking about a album or song I enjoy. Maybe I will start this project? I would very much like to hear some feedback about this idea.

And Finally: I am a spider now.
