Had this drafted up a couple weeks ago but I obviously procrastinated till the end and rushed to finish so don’t mind any mistakes and how

inconsistent and sloppy it looks some places 💜

I had small details I wanted to keep despite being rushed like the darkness creeping in till it enveloped the canvas, ww being glowey as if not fully tangible, “a piece of Vash” falling into the glass and it also retaining that glow as if protected against rlly touching the dark

Lemon Dee, they/them

a waddle dee who loves cool rocks and space ships. One day they found a crashed ship and their curiosity got the better of them. They got possessed by a pink spector and now have a ‘mouth’ that the spector sees out of. They’re physically strong enough to carry items 5x their size, can use telekinesis in short bursts, and vomits pink sludge that can turn into monsters. Although the waddle dee no longer seems in control, sometimes it seems like they’re crying…

Coming home

It had been a long day at the Senate; one of those where lunch break was nothing more than salad and coffee in between meetings, and by the time Leia got home, she was cranky and starving. From the door, she could hear her husband in the kitchen, whipping up a late lunch-cum-early dinner for her. Leia got rid of her shoes and bag and made a beeline for him.

‘Hey, sweetheart,’ Han said, leaning in for a kiss. Leia wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her face into his chest for a moment. With one hand still minding the pan on the stove, Han sank the other into Leia’s hair, loosening her tight braids, and she sighed with content.

‘Thank you,’ she mumbled. ‘That smells really good. Jaina?’

‘Napping.’

Leia frowned, becoming aware of something unexpected pressing into her temple.

‘Han, what is my head on?’

‘Huh?’ Leia released him and stepped back. Both of them stared down at his chest, where something that could be interpreted as a handcrafted badge was pinned to his shirt. Han grinned and tugged at it: an irregularly-cut heart of flimsi, painted in bright, clashing colours and abundantly glittery. ‘Oh, right. According to Jaina, I needed to wear more “sparkies”.’

Leia snorted. ‘What?’

‘Yeah, we were drawing after lunch and she suddenly looks up at me very seriously and says “Daddy, you should wear more sparkies”.’

‘Okay. How did she come up with that?’ Their nearly four-year-old could be a handful sometimes, but she and Han never ceased to be amazed at the things she came up with.

‘Well, I knew she’d been doodling us, and right before she said that, she let out this big sigh at her grey crayon,’ Han said, turning his attention back to the food. ‘Turns out she’d been coloring my clothes. So I asked why’d she think that. She said Lando’s kid uses all the colors to draw his daddy, but she can only use black, grey and blue to draw me—most boring colors, as you know—and she never gets to use her sparkly pens’

‘Oh my goodness,’ Leia said, covering her mouth with one hand as she set down a plate on the counter. Han spooned his stew onto it as he resumed his story.

‘So I said, “Jaina, you can use any colors you want to draw me, you know, it doesn't matter if I don’t have clothes like that”. She gave me a very reproachful look that was just like you—’

Clucking her tongue, Leia playfully slapped his arm on her way to the fridge.

‘—and said, “Daddy, that’s lying, and lying is wrong.”’ 

With tears in her eyes, Leia bent over the fridge’s door, careful not to drop the jug of water as she shook with laughter.

‘I’d never thought of asking for a paternity test until now, Leia, but that don’t sound like any kid of mine.’

‘Oh, hush, one day you will be very glad that your daughter thinks twice before lying,’ Leia teased. She sat down at the kitchen table, looking at her husband with mirth. She suddenly narrowed her eyes at him in suspicion and said, ‘Wait, what did you tell her?’

‘Relax, I didn’t say lying was good,’ Han told her and shrugged, sitting across from her. ‘I just said that lying ain’t the same as bein’ creative, and when you’re drawing you can be as creative as you want and it’s fine.’

‘Aww, you did so good, honey.’ Leia took a bite and pointed at the badge. ‘And you did let her snazz you up a little in the end.’

‘Yeah, she said okay to what I told her, but then she still said my clothes were more boring than Mommy’s and Chance’s dad so… we improvised.’

Leia raised her eyebrows, smirking at her plate as she piled more food into her fork.

‘I’ve always said she was a very perceptive child. Maybe you should take her next time you need to buy new clothes…’

‘Ah, you and Lando would love that, wouldn’t you?’ Han said, pointing a finger at her even as he grinned back.

‘You, in sparkly shirts? Yes, I think I really would,’ Leia told him, and regaled him with a flirty wink.

sooo, i’ve been into persona 5 recently

still haven’t finished, but fuck me this game is stylish as all hell and i adore it

the instrumental version of life will change has been stuck in my head for days.

anyway! this originated as an experimental doodle in my notes using my different colored sparkly pens, then i thought i’d snazz it up in my art program.

it came out way, way better than i’d anticipated. hot damn.
