Sometimes, loneliness instants were searched for, when there was that reassurance of no potential observer inside his surroundings — sometimes, it was around the common room, late at night, when he could admire an landscape inside an window thoughtfully or losing himself inside secretive thoughts in front of an chessboard … and others times, it was inside his private wandering inside the school. It was less possible inside the fortress of the library : depending the timing, there were more or less students, and his eyes had that habit to getting attracted by the noise of his colleagues around, to spy on them with a discreet gaze. Though, during those times, he still managed to pretending brightness. Or trapped himself inside an psuedo indifference who remained listening, who would be tempted to give charitable help, who would agree to be social despite an inner disinterest … He became accoustumed to his constant lies there was that need of moments to expressing temporary his feelings, embracing immensity of his emotions for a short time, understood them. That sadness who pictured naturally inside his expression, when gloom inside his gaze replaced an usual bright, was gadly welcomed. Just time he let that flow of emotions pass … However, timing never were good with him, doesn’t it ? Once he slipped out his venom, there was no desire to turn back towards already expressed cruetly of his words. Nevertheless, as much it wasn’t part of the plan, as much he didn’t desired destroy current sociability he had with his classmate. How to say it gently ? Best his classmates remained fooled about the nightmare sleeping inside of him. Best his classmates were staying comfortably manipulated by him. He saw things in a egocentric way from his small view of his personal realm — only, underlying fragility he hid wasn't to be glimpsed by his comrades. He had to offer them unlimited glitter, an appearance galore, to avoid any potential problem. ❝ I am. ❞ He hissed coldly. Only snearking around shoudn’t concern me personally, could have been an following sentence. For an short moment, efforts inside his lips resonated inside an desire to act nice for one tiny second, where sensations of his frustration tempting his lips generated an temporary pout. Be nice right now was simply impossible. It would be surprising if he never turn friendly with his own House, what an surprise it would be, it was where he commented the most, besides to be his free place for never stop talking about whatever Potter was doing … Deciding not to always turn his back on him, where he was the one in cause, careful gaze watched him. There was remnant of sadness attached to it, and there was nothing he could do about it. No way he was going to blame on something he was always doing … ❝ I just didn’t know you had a secret obsession with me~ ❞

How do you think the counters would react to MC having a gorgeous singing voice, like its unnatural how good they are. I love your blog btw xx
I know, I KNOOOOW I’m answering this too late, and I’m deeply sorry but at this moment we should be used to my writting blocking. Anyway, I like this topic since my MC has a skill for singing (despite her awful way of dancing) so...
Vlastomil:
*Of course he needs to know EVERYTHING about you, how many times anyone has the chance to being so close to a, ehem, such pintoresc plebe... I mean, citizen out of the Heart district?
*If he’s not giving tips to the servants of the palace to inform about your private time doings, he’s directly snearking into the places for eavesdropping and spying you.
*And then he hears this delicious, magnificent, female voice singing in one of the guests room and... almost trips over when finds out is you.
*You know he’s not very good at keeping secrets, and goes to tell the other courtiers about your “little secret”, and as soon as you have a meeting with them and the Countess he asks you directly to sing for them.
*Will try to make you sing at every oportunity, after a lunch with the Countess, during a night party, while he invites you to a walk for the gardens...
*He’s a good listener, and surprisingly becomes more interested in talking about music with you than his worms. This is a sign of how admired is he actually. You can bet he’s deeply in love with your voice.
Volta:
*She also likes to sing, but her lack of self steem makes her think she’s not very good at it and rather listen to professionals.
*Because she’s usually drowned in snacks she carries from the kitchen to her room you didn’t noticed her when took a seat at the dinner room, where you were singing softly for yourself as you made some handicraft.
*Stares at you in silent for some minutes before you notice her, and then she goes embarrased and hides behind her food. “I’m so sorry, MC, didn’t meant to... interrupt you, but... oh, you have such lovely voice... such exquisite...!”
*Wants to keep your secret, but also wants to listen to you often, so invites you to her estate for evening parties (mostly like “sleep overs in which she eats”).
*Unfortunately one day she falls into Vulgora’s trap and ends up telling everybody why you wo are so close to each other. And of course the rest laughs at her for being friend of a plebeian, even if that plebeian sings like an angel.
*Now you end up hugging each other as you sing to her in a whisper to make her calm down. And she’s so into it she cries more. “I’m... sorry, MC, it’s just... I’m not sad anymore, but I love how you sing very much...”
Valdemar:
*They are a... creature of culture as well, but they rather listen music in the dungeons with the help of a phonograph, so they can enjoy themselves and work properly.
*And because they dislike socialize with living creatures, it takes a time before noticing how you sing. But also, to be honest, it wasn’t a complete coincidence, they were, in fact, following you... why? Well... You better keep that question out of your mind, for your own well.
*Now that they are aware, they want MORE of you, so one day as you’re resting in a side of the palace with little leak of servants and other people around, they approach you and make a sort of conversation, trying to sound random, until they confess: “A little bird told me you are actually a hidden jewel in the field of music”.
*They *insist* (which means they stare at you in their creepy, hungry face for a long time) until yougive up and sing a little for them. In that moment you didn’t noticed, but their expression changed to a softer, more human one, it’s not just that they love how you sing, it’s that they feel much better when you sing, despite aren’t aware of this yet.
*Despite your fear for the dungeons, you find yourself going some minutesvery often to meet Valdemar, who shares with you their phonograph and invites you to sing a little when they’re “done” with the job. Sometimes they even rest on a chair, eyes closed and hands wrapped together, listening to you with a warm smile on their lips.
*Never tells anyone about this, they are very possesive and they believe your skill isn’t going to be praised properly for anyone but them, but the courtiers and even Nadia notices they have changed a little, they seem less interested on keep this creepy aura and being a complete sadist. They even look... happy.
Vulgora:
*This is the less friendly way someone finds out about your singing voice, because Vulgora goes wild and yells at you, probably half drunk since you’ve been in a party at the palace, “I bet my neck you can’t...*hip* even sing the hymn of Vesuvia without messing it up!”
*It’s not like you’re a slut for getting into Vulgora’s games or something, but you’re a little tipsy too and, after all, you know you can beat them in this chance and you do what they think you couldn’t.
*And...they go silent. Everybody including yourself thinks it’s because they’ve been ashamed in front of the rest, and seems like the truth since they proceed to crawl into their room and don’t speak to anyone for the rest of the night. But actually they’re just... in shock.
*Let me explain this in detail: Vulgora has a reputation, and they love keeping it at the highest standards, so when something has the ability to touch them in a spiritual level they just need to hide and pretend it’s not true.
*They become a total stundere everytime they want you to sing, pretending is just to know you weren’t cheating or something, but you can see how their cheeks go redder when you sing staring at them.
* “Fine, you... *cough* you’re amazing, but I bet you cannot handle a date with me! Ha, what do you say, little MC?”
Valerius:
*He considers himself the most educated of the Court, and even talks about how good is at the arts of every sort. He recognizes a real prodigy when is in front of him.
*...Or when they’re cleaning themselves up after they’ve spilled some wine in their clothes. He didn’t followed you on purpose, but he stood when listened someone singing beautifully in a near room.
*You can imagine how shocked he was when saw it was you, singing a little to calm your nerves as you finished to change your clothes. How could a little plebeian witch like you sing like... like that?
*In the end, he’s a man of taste, and after the meeting where he apologized to you for the incident, he approaches you later to talk about your “secret skill”, wanting to know where and when you learned it, if you haven’t been interested on using it to gain prestige and of course, some money...
*Offers you to pay so you can go to a special evening at his estate where other members of Vesuvian high society will reunite and sing for them. It sounds funny at the beginning but as the night passes and the rest of the guests go more interested in you he feels a little... pissed off. But why? Well, because the other guest obivously cannot appreciate your skills like he does, he’s an expert in art and music, he knows how to play certain instruments and would have become a patron for the arts if the city would have more talented people in it.
*... Well, he’s actually a little jelaous for all the atention you’re receiving because...he discovered you first, and he thinks he deserves more of you than them. In more than a way, despite he won’t accept it even in secret. And that’s why he finds himself taking you to private meetings to hear you sing, but also to talk with you, leaving his prejudice of your social position behind and becoming a nicer man.

Okay, I know we love Portia very much but I’ve noticed some flaws into her route that makes me feel a little upset for the path that it is leading to.
First: don’t you feel that, of all the characters, Portia is the less (for not saying that has a complete lack of) flawed? If we revies the other LI’s they always have at least one visible flaw: Julian is a drama queen that craves for emotional punishment, Nadia is a “made herself” that believes she’s the only capable to bear every responsability, Muriel is a lonely wolf that runs from everyone including those who want to help him and has a lack of self confidence... and so on. Portia doesn’t have ANY visible flaw, she’s always energic, smart, happy, kind... We may say her big flaw is being “too coinfident of herself”, but that sounds more like the typical Mary Sue “human flaw” and not a real problem.
Her route is the more slow of the new LI’s. We already had four chapters and there’s NOTHING RELEVANT happening in them, it’s just MC and her snearking into a “detective game” which isn’t leading to anything. And yes, Muriel’s route is also a little strange with all this chasing of Lucio and stuff, but at least has more advance in the main story (and we cannot talk about Lucio’s route yet for it has just two chapters right now and at least they’ve solved a part of the mistery). I was waiting to get in trouble during this last book for the Valdemar situation, but what we received was a deus ex machina that... yup, once again, won’t lead us to anything relevant for the story.
And as a plus: in Julian’s route MC can’t enter the dungeon by themselves because of the “spell” casted upon the elevator. In this route, we can go easily into it just because Portia claims that “the key cannot know that things”, so how does the key work? How does magic work according to the main routes and why it is messed in this route?
