"Statue of the Snow Prince" - Note the statues facial similarity to the "degenerated" appearance of Falmer as opposed to the traditionally handsome depiction we see of the Snow Prince statue in TES V.
We don’t know who the Great Statue of Irkngthand is supposed to depict, if it’s even a specific person at all. My headcanon is that it’s the general image of the Snow Prince, with the regalia associated with the position and the distinct lilac eyes of the royal line
itaque corpus Reguli Nivei, sericis subtilibus involutum, ad tumulum nuper fossum attulimus. armis coruscis cum hasta in basi honorifica praebitis, sepulcrum opibus regalibus vestitum est. proceres omnes praepotentes huic rationi assensi sunt, Merem sic honestandi. corpus in tumulo servatum iri quamdiu tellus lectura esset, sed praesidium Stalhris nostrae non oblatum, quod Boreis mortuis solis reservaretur.
"And so we brought the body of the Snow Prince, wrapped in fine silks, to a freshly dug barrow. The gleaming armor and spear were presented on a pedestal of honor, and the tomb was arrayed with treasures worthy of royalty. All of the mighty chieftains agreed with this course, that the Elf should be so honored. His body would be preserved in the barrow for as long as the earth chose, but would not be offered the protection of our Stalhrim, which was reserved for Nord dead alone."
I want to do more creative shoots this year. Like, team up with some make-up artists and do some cool shoots. What do you all think would be fun to do?
