I really like thinking about snowdin genocide frisk
There’s really an image they’re given before it starts really leading into the murderhappy kind of terrifying they start to give off in waterfall when the attack bubble changes into a smile. Then, it’s clear they are hunting down everyone they can with a smile on their face. Here, though, there’s something more haunting about it.
Papyrus’s words about them too:
It’s like they’re either eerily expressionless or their eyes are unfocused and clouded over as they shuffle around, searching the forest in a dusty murder haze. Their footsteps are uncoordinated, their gait is unstable and shambling and dangerous, movements unnatural like a marionette, wandering the forest like a ghost only half aware of what they’re doing, a silent, eerie, expressionless force of nature slowly making its way into town, exuding that aura to everyone and everything in its path as it becomes clear to everyone that whatever this thing is, they need to run.
Ruins are now called Sealands. Most of the puzzles are waterfall or sprout related now! Waterfall is now Carvem, a rocky ruined place with some anime references.
SNOWDIN - CORE:
Snowdin is called Cybercity, Snowdin Forest is now Electro Woods! Cybercity will be inspired from Deltarune Chapter 2's Dark World. CORE is now THE FREEZER. It's incredibly cold in here and is the place that gives the underground electricity, safety, and provides food.
HOTLAND is now a new location called ICEFIELDS! It's not as cold as THE FREEZER, but the wind often gets intense. Instead of lava there's white acid.
LABORATORY and TRUE LAB aren't changed, but slightly altered to look like original CORE.
NEW HOME isn't altered aswell, but it's name and some tiny details are changed! It's new name is ROYAL DOMICILE.
The last few days have been pretty turbulent with the next darn bronchitis on top that I'm having to deal with, so unfortunately I'm only now finally getting around to uploading this :P
Of course, all the doors have long since been opened, but that doesn't change the fact that there are still two pictures missing for the #AdventChallenge to be able to complete it... or to be more precise, one more now ;)
For the final doors, we now come to the actual classic #Arcyl tube color. Again, random selection and the choice is a bit more challenging here. Anyway, I didn't immediately know what I could paste on the paper in pale light pink and decided on a new #Underlust - this time for a #landscape #painting by Snowdin. I still have a lot of practicing to do with acrylics ^^;
At least on this size here I'm still struggling with details that wouldn't be a big issue with ink or watercolors. But well, experience only comes through trial and error, and hey, that's why I do these challenges at the end of the day :)
Fae nods in agreement and continues on the path ahead of her.
Eventually, she comes across the two skeletons whispering to each other. She can't make out what they are talking about. She sees Papyrus pointing to a rock nearby.
Have they not seen me yet?
Fae starts to wave.
The skeletons start spinning rapidly.
Oh um... okay...
Papyrus stops his spin with a flourish, "HUMAN! YOU WILL PROCEED NO FURTHER! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL CAPTURE YOU!"
"Oh yes!," Fae exclaims, "Is this the part with the puzzles? I would love to try your puzzles Papyrus."
"THESE PUZZLES WILL CONFOUND AND CONFUSE YOU, GHOST FRIEND. BUT I WILL GIVE HINTS IN RETURN FOR PRAISE!" Papyrus strikes another pose which makes his clothing blow in the breeze.
"Papyrus? You remember me?" Fae smiles excitedly. This was easier than she expected it to be. After Flowey's warning about everyone forgetting she thought it would be much harder than this. But she is relieved none the less.
"I DO?" Papyrus catches himself off guard.
"Yes! You called me ghost girl," Fae can barely contain herself anymore she starts running over to Papyrus, "remember you helped me get my hair clip back, and then we had your spaghetti?"
"WOWIE!" Papyrus opens up his arms as Fae rushes over, "I DON'T REMEMBER ANY OF THAT! BUT I NEVER THOUGHT CAPTURING A HUMAN WOULD BE THIS EASY."
Fae and Papyrus share a hug. Although, Fae is feeling a bit silly after acting so rashly. Papyrus doesn't remember as much as she first assumed. But he seems to be taking this situation well.
"A BIT TOO EASY..." Papyrus lets go of his captured human and takes a heroic step to the side, "NO THIS WON'T DUE. YOU MUST GO THROUGH MY PUZZLES TO SEE IF YOU ARE WORTHY FOR ME TO CAPTURE YOU!"
Fae smiles and chuckles, "Of course, I'll try my best!"
The three of them continue forward to the trial of puzzles Papyrus has prepared. All of them with a smile on their face.
It really weirds me out sometimes with how far the sanscest shipping gets. Like, when they have kids who have kids with the kids of other sanses? why. what is the need. also dont get shipping sanses with sanses.
tbh that is one part i never really got into,, i get the appeal of making fankids bc its fun to explore how that would go and they’re basically OCs so you can go crazy! but on the shipping them together side,,, idk why but anything to do with shipping characters who are minors has always made me a bit uncomfortable. it’s entirely a me problem and i’m fully aware that there’s nothing inherently wrong with it its just!! weird to me idk!!!!!
as for the selfcest bit tbh as a selfcest shipper myself i deadass do not have a goddamn clue what about it appeals to me. i guess its a bit of wanting to see how these two “different” characters would interact with each other? honestly i think if you change up their backgrounds enough you can make it so that while they’re technically the same person, they’re also just as much their own self as if they were different, and yet they can still use their “sameness” as a way to find a deeper understanding in themselves that they might not have seen otherwise. that’s how i do mine anyway!
