the design in the ballad of songbirds and snakes was so intentional and one of my favorite parts was the academy uniforms. like i’m genuinely obsessed with them, and not because they’re particularly good looking but because of what they stand for: they’re meant to be genderless. everyone wears pants and the skirts because capitol does not care about what you are. they want one uniform collective who all do and wear and think the same thing. the costumes in this movie are so good !!!

Story progression is as brilliant as always. In response to your ask game from a while ago, yes!! You're very very good at plot progression and no matter how well you write your characters it wouldn't be half as good as it is if you didn't back it up with the most beautiful development alongside.

What else, what else...

Character dynamics!! As amaze as usual. You know how sometimes you don't like a particular edible but a specific way to cook it makes it taste way better and suddenly you like it? That's me throughout this fic!! I've usually shied away from this specific flavour of conflict because of what it represents for me personally, but something about how neutrally you write it makes it 100x better to see. I can't really describe it but it's very good!!

When I went to an antique event early in October I got these Snowflake charm earrings to refurbish. I think it is the most fun to find jewelry like such and just add beads to more fitting parts to the piece. I decided to use clear square faceted glass light blue beads to create a nice contrast with the gold and white colors.

So, look at Snowflake Obsidian

Now look at Desert Glass

Don't you think they have similar body types? The head, face, big shoulders, and boots. Plus, both of them have control over an element: ice for Snowflake and sand for Desert Glass. And obsidian is also called volcanic glass.

My theory? Different varieties of the same Gem type. Desert Glass is just overcooked, like Amethyst. They're all minor terraformers designed to make encampments out of their respective elements, hence the wall that Desert Glass made in Steven's Lion

Anyway I'm making a whole listamajig of Gems and their roles and I'll get back to you guys when it's done.

I know I haven't given you any thoughts on glass divine, but genuinely I think you write it beautifully. The unreliable narrator aspect is executed extremely well, and as someone who finds immense pleasure in that and dissecting the happenings of the story, it is so delightful to see it written out.
