08.24.17 // It’s been a while since I’ve last made a post. A lot of difficult events came up in my life that caused me to put my spiritual practices on hold. It took some time, but now I am back and slowly healing. Here are some pages that I’ve created over the last couple months for my book of shadows. 04.01.17// My thrifty altar space Welcome to my altar space ^-^ It is not the one that I use for workings, but more of a home to my sacred tools and lovely crystals. Most of the items were actually thrifted! (besides the crystals, of course) The mini wood shelf is a thrifted jewelry box that I re-purposed to hold my crystals. If you were wondering, I use the french onion ceramic pot as a cauldron. It’s heat resistant and cute, so how could I say no? I purchased the glass box from Michael’s Craft Store with a 40% off coupon for a really good deal! Even the glass cup, “coupons” box and cork stopper glass bottle were thrifted. Don’t ever feel like you have to spend a lot of money to be a witch. When really, most of the things you need can be found at your good ole’ local thrift shop!

03.11.17 // I finally finished the last pages of the elemental correspondences in my book of shadows, Fire! I included spiked plants that tend to grow in arid climates to represent the dryness and resilience of fire. I also decided to illustrate a fox, which I have always associated with fire for some particular reason o.O~

02.23.17// These are the pages I made for earth elemental correspondences. I included acorns because they are nutty and hard, and I drew mushrooms because they grow low, close to the earth. I always thought that the bear was the most representative animal of the earth element: it dwells in caves, it is wise, stable and powerful and it cares deeply for its cubs as a great mother.

02.04.17// I completed the very first page of my book of shadows. I decided to do it on the element of air and its correspondences. I decided to include a dandelion and yarrow because they are light and airy looking plants. 02.26.17 // A healing spell for my puppy

My dog, Dumdum (yes, that is his real name XD), got some food poisoning over the weekend and hasn’t been feeling very good at all. So I decided I would try doing a healing spell to speed up the healing process ^_^ I did some image magic using a poppet I constructed and filled with a variety of healing herbs, such as rosemary, cinnamon and chamomile (for his digestive system). Hopefully he feels better soon ^-^ Full of energy and light!

Relaxing Bath Ritual // 02.14.17

The events of today led me to become quite a bit more angry and upset than I’ve been in a while. I’ve resolved the issues, but was left with a pulsing headache. I put together a bath of powdered milk, and lavender to calm my body and mind. With the amethyst, I visualized it’s calm and peaceful energy entering my body and subduing all the negativity I accumulated throughout the day. Now I feel happy and refreshed and my headache is essentially gone ^_^
