Battle Subway Depot Agents (by pig-demon)

When I made designs for these guys last year I didn’t really think they needed colored references/master post, but since then I’ve drawn them a lot! Also people have added them to their fanfics and drawn fanart! So I figured it was time I made a post for easy ref. :]

These designs are obviously free to use, just give credit (and link me your work if you're comfortable, because it makes me happy to see!) All I request is to stay respectful to their pronouns and skin colors, ya knooow… 👍 note: The pokemon on their cards are all companions, not the ones they use on the Battle Subway. Except Jackie...the litwicks are just there to fill space/give them company.

These are again my designs/interpretations for the agents. Please don’t treat them as canon or as the only, quintessential designs for these literal background npcs. Many people have done takes on them before and after me, even back in 2010. It feels silly to ask, but due to past experience, I ask that you please DONT hunt down anyone that does a different take on the depot agents!! 👍

Height chart:

I’m not too strict about heights, so I don’t really care about actual measurements. Here’s an approximation of what I tend to visualize though:

Sexualities/Gender Identities: I don't have official labels for each and every agent because I like keeping things fluid for characters to develop these traits on their own. However, as a queer person, I enjoy designing characters who are also queer, therefore I can safely say none of these characters are straight. The ones who are set in stone are Ramses (gay man), Cloud (lesbian woman,) Jackie (non-binary.) Furze uses he/they pronouns but their gender is undetermined. I also welcome anyone giving the agents a different gender identity to suit them (as long as it's done respectfully.)

Notes about each agent...

Cameron:

- Cameron dyes parts of his hair blonde and keeps other parts in black. This is because he is a big fan of Elesa and her fashion choices.  - Though there have been a few occasions to meet his idol, he is always way too nervous to approach her, feeling deep down that he'll mess up somehow. - He practices modeling poses in secret. He loves flourishes and flare, but is simply too insecure to put it on display. - Of his coworkers, he gets along the best with Furze. He's the easiest to talk to because Furze will do most of the talking. - Cameron is easily intimidated — even mean Pokémon can make him nervous. Though, his two worst fears are being left in a room alone with Jackie, and being left alone in a room with Isadore. - He takes advantage of his height to sometimes hide behind some of his coworkers. - Cameron is much better at Pokémon battles than he gives himself credit for. Emmet and Ingo were pleasantly surprised by this, since Cameron was promoted to fit a temporary role on the Battle Subway. They happily made him a permanent member when he proved himself capable. - His Dwebble (Pebby) is secretly very strong, and rushes to protect Cameron when it can. Cam sometimes thinks Pebby helps him feel more confident in himself too.  - If he stumbled into any of his coworkers outside of work, he would simply explode of embarrassment. - He is the youngest child and only son of his family. He lives in his own apartment in Nimbasa.

Cloud:

- Cloud (like Ramses) knew the twins when they were very young. - She used to be an ace trainer in her youth, even going so far to compete in the Pokémon league. Winning and becoming the champ was the most important part of her journey, but something happened along the way that changed that outlook. - It seems with age, her competitiveness has mellowed out. However, she maintains an intense energy when battling.  - Her favorite types are Psychic and Flying types. Swoobat (Sweetie) is her ace.  - Her favorite hobby is baking, and she often bakes sweets for the crew. She knows all their favorite flavors by now! - She prioritizes keeping a friendly relationship with all her coworkers and thinks of them fondly. She considers Ramses family after all the years of working together!  - She is a big fan of Brycen's movies and can recite the lines. - She lives with her wife in Anville. - Cloud loves doing maintenance work both at home and in Gear Station. She enjoys bringing her own tools and industrial flashlight.

Furze:

- Furze only has one volume setting (mid loud,) but he finds himself feeling right at home when talking to either one of the twins. - Furze has ADHD, and this is reflected in some of his habits, most visibly is his fidgeting when sitting still for too long. - He rides a bike to work every day. When he is late, Cloud clocks in for him so he doesn't get in trouble. - This is a kind of a guy that sits crouched gargoyle style on chairs. Only outside of work, of course. Bad posture could get him in trouble. - While working on the Battle Subway, there will be times Furze feels sorry for his opponents and offers to quietly let them pass anyways. This...has also gotten him in trouble. :[ - He went to the same elementary school as Isadore in Castelia. Though Isadore seems to have forgotten their short-lived acquaintance, Furze has not. This is part of the reason Furze claims they are in fact good friends!!! - Furze is the middle child of a big family. He lives with his mom and takes care of her, along with his many Darumakas and Darmanitan. All of his Pokemon have famous trains names. - He collects model trains. Naturally.

Isadore

- Isadore had plans to become the station master the moment he was hired as a depot agent, but alas... (sad trumpet sound.) - As a youth, he was more interested in science and engineering over Pokemon battles. He enjoys the strategizing aspect, at most. Not so much the competitiveness. - In addition, his Pokemon are all rescues and not used for battling. He's had his Watchog (Winston) since he was in his late teens. - His Electrode (Gregor) and Voltorb (Leonard) were rescued from the likes of Team Plasma. - Isadore admits he understands Pokemon better than humans. This has been apparent his whole life. - In spite of acting like a sitcom villain, Isadore cares about the management of Gear Station and the safety of the passengers to an incredible degree. He sees it as a personal life goal to assist in the management of Gear Station, as well as the success of the Battle Subway. - Though it pained him to become a subordinate to the twins, he begrudgingly accepts it for the greater good. - His almost militant efficiency certainly made up for his years of antagonizing the twins before they became the bosses. Ingo and Emmet understand this better than anyone. - Isadore keeps tabs on all of the staff members. So he very well knows all their birthdays and makes it a point to celebrate it. This is by no means a -happy- or -festive- event. It's just customary. - Like Furze, he was originally from Castelia, but now resides in Nimbasa. Isadore's only family is his mom and she lives in his childhood home with their Stoutland. - Isadore would have probably been voiced by every glasses guy ever J. Michael Tatum had he not already been cast as dear Emmet lmao

Jackie

- Jackie is a mystery and they like keeping it that way. When they talk, it's practically impossible to determine what is a lie or truth, especially if the subject is themselves or their background. - They love scaring Cameron the most and will ask to be paired with him whenever possible. They claim Cameron is their "favorite coworker," while Isadore is the least favorite. - It's plain to see why -- Jackie is the only one that doesn't passively tolerate Isadore's tirades. - Though my comics sometimes may allude to Jackie being a ghost/supernatural, this is not confirmed nor canon. I just personally enjoy toying with the concept. : ) That being said...

- Special Containment Procedures: The ████ ██████ is ██████ within ████-██████. - Ingo and Emmet choose to not question anything about Jackie, since it's clear they're one of the more efficient workers. However it can be a safety concern... - Cloud and Ramses have worked with Jackie for a long time, though they've forgotten somehow. They believe Jackie is a new hire since they appear to be young. - Anyone trying to make sense of Jackie's employee records simply can't bring themselves to any conclusions. It's better to ignore the inconsistencies. - Jackie has never been seen to leave Gear Station. Jackie has never been seen in anything but their uniform. Jackie has never been confirmed to eat, drink or blink. Jackie knows your secrets. Jackie thinks it's... amusing.

Ramses

- Ramses sometimes misses having a full head of hair, but he thinks his signs of age make him look distinguished. (he is correct.) - Ramses is sort of the "mom friend," making sure everyone's concerns are heard, as well as trying to keep the peace whenever a conflict might arise. - If another coworker is feeling low, Ramses will try to cheer them up with a lighthearted joke or offer advice if they'd like it. - When the twins were promoted to bosses of the Battle Subway, Ramses cried because he felt so proud. - In most circumstances, he is a very simple and logical man. He is quick to find solutions and tries not to fret over the little stuff. It's not good for his heart after all. - His ace is his Pikachu (Musa,) though the mouse is more of a lap pet now. At home, he also has an Audino (Sara) and a Manectric (Nubi) who keep Ramses' husband company. His Klinklang (Moli) is the only one of his personal pokemon that accompany him to work nowadays. - Ramses considers Cloud family. They are best friends and love having family gatherings outside of work. They also gossip a lot, and don't mind when Jackie decides to join. - Ramses jokes about looking forward to retirement, but really doesn't want to leave until he is physically incapable of working anymore. Gear Station is like a second home to him.

In-Game Quotes

The most important reference of all are their in-game quotes, of course, so I'm adding it to the post. A lot of their personality traits can be extracted and interpreted from these few lines. And I personally love that about Pokemon NPCs -- there's a lot of room to explore and play with. Some appear very obvious. Cameron practically announces that he isn't ready for the battle that's about to ensue and seems genuinely surprised to win. Furze comes out the gate talking about the subject they actually care about, which is their job and their love for trains. The two of them are very easy to understand. Now, Ramses lines allude to a gentle and simple personality. He views himself with humility, and maybe even with a bit of humor comparing himself to a train and to his opponent to a station. If he loses he shows no signs of disappointment, he just accepts defeat with one last honest quip. It s also amusing to see the Depot Agents all use train metaphors to describe themselves since it falls in line with how Ingo and Emmet talk.

In comparison, Cloud does the same thing calling herself the terminal instead. Immediately, she is way more daring, though still keeping a sense of professionalism. To me, it's obvious she is competitive as she even admits she was expecting to win ("Ah...I didn't see it coming.") Jackie's lines are fun since it's up to interpretation if they are being literal or lying. It's almost like they are more interested in confusing/creeping out their opponent than actually beating them. To me, it gives off a mischievous vibe. Isadore's opener "There are only two roads in life." is a curious one because it almost feels like he is trying to be philosophical. Definitely a guy who views himself as an intellectual, regardless if that’s true or not. I like to think it's a saying he really believes in, and it applies to his life. The road he likes (long route) vs the road he hates (shortcut) -- fighting tooth and nail to become boss vs biting his tongue and accepting Ingo and Emmet as the Subway Masters.

Those are just my thoughts on how I write these characters. Please have fun playing with these lines too!

Hi! Not sure if you’re still doing this but I wanted to know if you have art tips on drawing faces and bodies for poses? Like step by step way of doing things if you do that.

i will try to help!

I almost always use a reference photo to start. if i cant find the pose i want then i frankenstein several images together. for simplicity's sake im using a random portrait that kind of looks like my oc jamie (from an editorial called MONO #ChuckII STORY by Fucking Young!) im crediting it bc im going to show it unedited but typically i dont bc beyond using it for planes of faces, its not recognizably linked. so...transformative work. from there i block in the edges of the face and broad shapes w a light colour. i usually "dim" or sometimes blur my refs bc it helps me see the broader shapes? idk if that makes sense at all.

and then i usually go right into the nose bc to me its like... the foundation of a face. IF I AM DRAWING A REAL ACTOR/person. i pull up a ref of their face at the same angle. i sometimes have to scour for these. and from here i draw in black bc it means i cant pussyfoot and my lines have to be decisive.

tbh tho, it is very unnatural for me to stop or to do stuff in too specific of an order so this all looks very odd to me..anyway then ill putter around to other features and hair. by the time ive got eyes/mouth/nose and hair if its the same as whoever im drawing, the ref is put to the side until i have to shade, (if i use it at all again)

and then i just clean up my sketch till im happy, flipping the canvas with a hotkey OFTEN. i simplify shapes in hair a lot for flow. then he gets filled in with grey (these are usually when i post wips) and then i jump into colouring!

timelapse & ramblings under the cut

i tried to put this in the tags but it was way too long so here are my.... ramblings? design notes? process? watever it is it's here now

killer is the one i changed the least, even the pose is pretty much the same i kept the asymetrical design from the dtiys (w/ one sleeve rolled up & only one shoulder w/ spikes) for the shoes i kinda went watever & put the spikes in the middle (i bet you it caused some of the holes in his jeans) i like to think he chose blue soles bc he did a collab w/ nightmare so that he's not the only one w/ cool colors his main color is still red, but i made the leather, t-shirt, metal & jeans blue-ish as a complementary color

for nightmare, i don't even know if his design is canon, but when i saw that the murder time trio did collabs w/ him i knew i had to draw it i didn't touch the base design itself but i switched the colors around a lot bc i really didn't know how to make it work w/ the rest of the characters i kept the base palette (blue/cyan, purple & pink) but had purple as a main & cyan as an accent color (pink itself is only there in the glitter) also yeah i put the glitter on his coat instead of his tentacles cuz i wanted to show his bones & tentacles are made/covered in the same goopy stuff, and the glitter kinda went in the way of that i like that his colors are really different from the other & you can tell he goes solo while they're in a band, but i think it's not too distracting

horror is my favorite, like he's just enjoying himself in the back its kinda sad i had to hide him behing both his drums & killer, i might post a version w/out it to show it off the drums were a pain in the ass ngl, i've never played them so i had to look at a lot of references in the end i just drew a basic drum set w/ the colors on the ref (red & gold), i added silver for the metal bits bc it's everywhere in the other's designs his design itself is unchanged, i just thought having him in red only felt boring so i added orange to his fur & shirt

i realized too late i couldn't show dust's head w/ the pose i drew T-T also drew his entire outfit then had to hide half of it because of his guitare this is why planning is important people his guitare rocks tho (pun intended) i tried to make him red & purple to match his eyes, but currently it's more of an orange salmon color w/ a dark grey pink eeeh the intent is there i guess i made his gloves fingerless cuz you can't tell me this dude plays guitare w/ full on gloves like i know they're skeletons but that's physically impossible i also added a strap to his guitare cuz unless he's using blue magic, he probably can't keep it up w/ only his right hand

Question, what's your opinion on "person gets some of your stock photos where they'd have to pay to access it, and then that person passes the photo on to an artist, either a friend or someone they're getting commissioned artwork from, for that artist to use"? Mostly hypothetical.

There's a few layers here and I want to explain my feelings in general so I'm sorry this is a little long. 💖 Most of my paid content is advance access which means I plan to release most (if not eventually all) of it for free someday. When people pay me for packs they are saying, "Hey omg thanks I needed this and you're making it, here is some money to please keep doing that." When I had a kid in 2014 I sort of had to put pose ref work on the backburner. I have been able to keep doing it (and greatly expand my offerings!) mainly due to the financial support I gained in early 2020 when I went a little viral on Twitter. It's made a HUGE impact on my ability to be an independent creator both for pose ref and for art and I'm exceedingly grateful for that support. If people have paid to get some poses then those poses technically have the same license as all my other stuff (credit/notification required for reposting, not required for used as reference). So if they are sending it to another artist as a ref for a commission or just to share with a buddy and either my watermark is on it or they say "this is from AdorkaStock" then they aren't violating my usage terms. I know not everyone who wants to support me financially can do it. I know that sometimes artists are going to split the cost of packs and things like that. It's okay, I expect that. I know that people will come and go on Patreon as they can or can't afford it and that's cool too. I know people are gunna post paid poses when they are sharing WIPs or maybe streaming or whatever - that's all expected. I would obviously be super miffed if someone was taking chunks of my paid stuff and then reposting it for free publicly. Technically they'd be required to tell me about that and I'd definitely ask them to please not. ✌🏻😭 I appreciate every person who throws a few bucks my way every month through Patreon or through Ko-fi donations or shop sales. The money I make doing pose ref work has allowed me to keep doing this AND to make more art, which is basically just me living my happy little dream over here. 🥹 ---TL;DR--- I know people are gunna share paid poses with people who didn't pay and generally speaking that's okay just don't be a jerk about it by pulling out the very nice rug my supporters have woven under meeeee. ♥

Alchemy Tick

[Ticks is a much better movie than I was expecting from a 90s creature feature throwing back to the 50s. Its primary strength are the visual effects, which are gory and gross in a way that only practical effects can provide. But its script is surprisingly earnest. The movie is set up like a typical slasher--a group of troubled teens at a summer camp run afoul of monsters--but it refuses to treat the characters as just a body count. Which means that you’re not sure who is going to survive to the end credits, and gives the deaths that do happen a narrative heft greater than anything that even happened in, say, a Friday the 13th.

There are already giant ticks in Pathfinder, but they’re not a good match for the Ticks ticks. They’re the wrong size, for one. For another thing, the movie ticks are much weirder than just “mundane animal, but bigger”. Weird enough I wanted to make them a magical beast.]

Alchemy Tick CR 2 N Magical Beast This creature appears to be an oversized tick about the size of a rat. It skitters on eight little legs, its body swollen with blood and digestive juices.

Alchemy ticks are mutated versions of mundane ticks. They are created when ticks are exposed to mutagenic chemicals, such as runoff from an alchemist’s laboratory. These creatures are smaller than so-called giant ticks, but still upsettingly large. Their bite deals little damage, and they tend to release victims before drinking them dry (an alchemy tick is full after having dealt 6 points of Con damage). The primary danger they pose is from their venomous saliva, which causes hallucinations and delirium in addition to numbness. Victims suffering from these mental effects tend to panic, making escape more difficult for the entire party. In addition, an alchemy tick can enhance their own abilities by drinking the blood of those with alchemical or magical enhancements, potentially turning a single tick into a powerful monster after just a few sips.

Alchemy ticks are facultative parasitoids. They lay their eggs in places that are warm and wet, and that can include the corpses of victims, or even still living but unconscious prey items. Laying these eggs takes too long to occur inside of a still struggling creature. The eggs incubate with startling rapidity, hatching within 24 hours into a brood of new hungry alchemy ticks. Alchemy tick infestations tend to burn out rapidly, as the ticks consume their entire food supply in an area and then starve to death, but the egg cases are sticky, and may be inadvertently carried by those escaping the outbreak.

Okay, so I uhh- accidentally made a little something...

I don't even know how my brain works anymore. Here's the thought process for this one: let's make a funny comic about milk > hmm, how about we update the design for A's limiters > ahh wait, let's do a ref pose > wouldn't it be funny if I somehow make him walk > okay, now he looks intimidating > make him enter a room, as if he's about to 'talk' to the manager > wait-

I've been trying hard for weeks, to come up with a concept for a cover photo, and then it came to be, all because of milk...

To be fair, the base concept for A's personality came from milk too. No, I'm not going to elaborate.

A little context for my OC, A aka The Admin.

[The Other Side], which is my main series, revolves around A, but H is still the main character.

After being deleted by noogai3 in AvA I, vic ends up in H O M E, where he meets A. In the present day, vic calls him 'wife', while A calls him V, or victim if he's upset or angry.

A is fatter, taller, and has a bigger head (not as big as the Hollow Heads) than the normal sticks. The glasses are just holes with no ear thingies. Probably floats to his face like magic.

Like Agent, he is never drawn with the blushes, nor with the smoky breath.

And similar to H, the blue eye only shows up whenever he's angry or processing data very quickly.

He needs a minimum of four limiters just to be able to touch vic. It's more for his peace of mind actually, rather than any danger at all. After all, it's H and Agent's job to make sure that E V E R Y T H I N G ' s going to be all right.

LONG OVERDUE ASKS FROM THIS 2022

Hey everyone 💦 I’m finally getting around to all these from this year... thank you to those who were checking in with me still 🙏❤ and hello to anyone who’s new! 👋

My brain decided one day to just hide away from checking everyone’s reactions to SwapOut, both here and on dA... I think that’s what happened ;; Because I remember feeling the moment my brain stopped. I guess I got scared about what people would think about the next few chapters and if they would like the ending or hate it etc. Just. Fearing that people might not like the ending which hasn’t even happened yet 😞

Aanyway. I am trying to push that feeling away. You can still see me working on SwapOut on stream sometimes! I’ve gotten to know many more friends over this year because of streaming and I am so thankful for that... But aside from that, I have also been pulled into another fandom ;; Ever since I got to know about Ingo in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, I am now verrrry into the Subway Masters ;; beloved twin brothers 🚂 So truthfully I’m not as invested in Undertale now... but I hope it’s okay to share doodles of other things I love here from now on too 💦

How does using photography for reference material fit into this? I would hardly count that as a form of theft.

The answer is really it depends. Given how individual each piece of artwork is, there's not really a way to say offhand "yeah thats totally copying" versus "Oh that's just a reference."

Sometimes you don't know if you flew too close to the sun until someone comes after you for it.

Which is obviously not ideal. The way I personally do it is like this (and I'm not a lawyer, just so we're clear)

1. Reference a pose and redraw it entirely but don't trace or use a grid or other tool to transfer it 1 to 1. Use the photo to get an overall feel, not an element to use, especially if the thing you're reffing is the ENTIRE thing you're drawing.

2. Piecemeal it. Maybe you got this eye from one photo but the mouth from another and the arm and hand pose from another still. The finished product would be something new and not a complete redo of one specific photo.

Or the easiest way to get around it and the one I usually go for- just use images that are already free use stock photos or otherwise photos you have the rights to. This can be tricky for niche subjects, but for a lot of common objects like furniture or various poses there are tons of fair use and free stock that exists without stepping on the toes of photographers who protect their own copyright.

If you know the source of the image it usually doesn't hurt to just ask nicely for permission. I haven't had a photographer refuse me yet, especially if they're credited.

It's a grey area. Nobody likes grey areas because they make it hard to take sides quickly and participate in drama but they still exist. Personally I'd find it weird and uncomfortable if I found someone trying to build a career and sell prints of a painting of my specific pet cat they found on tumblr lol

Day 10: Reap what you sow

His name is Ripper. How you would kill art is ripping it apart, and it sounds like Reaper, too! His main weapon is a paint-scraper? (at least I think that's what that's called) and he uses it to scrape the SOULs of the dead off of their body like paint on a canvas. Like Ink, he doesn't have a SOUL, but instead of collecting the paint from when an AU is being created, but he does so when he reaps a SOUL. There's actually a very benefit to reaping souls for Creators too! When a Creator kills a character off, they may be tempted to bring them back, or begin to doubt the decision to kill them in the first place. When Ripper collects SOULs, he removes the self-doubt with it. He also fights off self-doubt in general, but since he actually needs to reap the SOULs for his emotions, he tends to focus on those. He does also fly, but he doesn't have wings so he kind of looks like he's floating, which tends to creep people out. He actually likes that fact a lot and likes to float and chase people until the run away screaming which he laughs at! He does sort of have a death touch, but due to the fact he doesn't have a SOUL, it's sort of weird and can only affect soulless beings (like canon Ink), and he doesn't like killing people who aren't written to die in a script, so he avoids touching anyone whose SOUL he hasn't seen (he found this out due to a Flowey who he accidentally killed which completely demotivated the Creator and the AU crumbled before it was even finished). He doesn't have a sash, but only because he doesn't need one. The stuff he collects from SOULs only needs to fit in one vial, which he wears around his neck. It looks like this:

It does glow somewhat, but not as bright as his scraper. It's actually more potent than paint would be, so it's about the same size as a normal vial, but as a result of only having the one in such a small amount, he can't create objects without building up enough of that juice over time. Because of that he's only ever made the blade of his weapon, and the rest of what's on his person was stolen from other sources. He has actually been building up more stock of it over time, but he can't really use it in case there's ever a dry spell, because Creators don't usually kill off characters often enough that he can afford to spend it unwisely. Anyways that's what I have so far, feel free to ask questions, it will definitely help me come up with more stuff about him ^.^

hello! just wanted to let you know that i've been a fan of your art for many years. you're one of my favorite artists and i keep your username on a little .txt (along with a couple other artists) so i can always remember who i look up to and who i hope to become as good as someday.

i love your art. all of it. even the transformers fanart, and i don't even like transformers. i especially like your choice in colors (and i never see anyone comment on it!! it's such a key component to your style and nobody talks about it!!) but i also take inspiration from your lineart and poses. the way you draw teeth is unsettling but it grabs the viewer's attention, it might as well be your style's trademark.

i'm an artist, too, and i'm not nearly as popular as you are. (... probably because i'm only on twitter, i post infrequently, and when i post i only post ocs lol.) i just want to say that you've been one of my biggest inspirations and your art drives me forward. it reminds me that if someone can continue as long as you've been going, then i can continue, too.

Money is only in payment: I'm sorry but I've seen WAY too many horror stories of artists being used, manipulated and forced to do manual labor for exposure, only for the guy to just, dip on them.

I've been in a toxic environment for three years where all I wanted in return was like, $20 or voice lines and the person I was working with kept forgetting to do it, while asking me to draw more. Terms of Service:

You may repost my art anywhere as long as you credit me (as BeepPerson).

You may use any art I've made for you in commercial media (games, films, etc.) at any time, still granting that you give me credit and letting me know what you've used it in if possible. This is mostly for my own curiosity to be honest, and I might check out what you put it in once it's done. ;)

During the commission process, if there are any changes you'd want me to make before "finalizing" the art, just let me know and I will do them free of charge up to a certain point; very small changes will always be free but if you would want me to make sweeping changes to a design or specific emotion more than once, it will cost extra.

If in the future you'd want some changes made to a previous comm, I can do minor changes such as color palettes, clusters of pixels (like the edges of eyes), etc. free of charge. Bigger changes will likely cost a few dollars, depending on the scale of the change.

Related to the previous points, you are free to make changes to my art without having to get my permission, if you feel that would be easier for you. However, you may not make changes to my art and claim it as yours; you must still credit me for the original art, and preferably note that you've edited the art in some way.

I post all art I make at my discretion. If you'd prefer that I do not post art I make for you, please discuss this with me.

Never judge a book by its cover.

This is such a true saying because as I watched Pamela Anderson's new documentary on Netflix, I realized that I was one of those people that judged a book by its cover. Maybe because no one knows what's really going on inside someone's head or in their life unless they live it, they can only judge.

I should know this better than anyone else. When I grew up I was a tomboy and only had guy friends. Because of that everyone assumed I was sleeping with my guy friends and called me a whore. But in reality, I was dating my high school sweetheart from the age of 13 until I was 19. We didn't sleep together until my 18th birthday. Yet everyone just believed what they wanted to believe or judged me on what they saw on the outside not knowing who I was on the inside.

This is definitely true about Pamela Anderson and her life. I had no idea the way she grew up, that she was raped and abused as a child or hat her father was an alcoholic and beat her mother.

What the world saw was this playboy model who posed naked or ran down the beach in a bathing suit. Or the woman who married a rock and roll star and had a crazy relationship with him. We didn't know the backstory or how much she loved Tommy Lee, that this was her one true love.

When the sex tapes were stolen from their home and later came out people laughed. Who cares, it's not like she didn't pose naked already, many people said.

Yet they turned down 5 million dollars for the rights to the tapes. We didn't know about or care about how invasive it was for somebody to break into their home to steal their private videos of their lives and put it out there for the whole world to see.

Look at it from another way, if someone broke into your home and stole your private video tapes of you and your spouse making love, would you want that all over the internet? And then to have someone making millions of dollars off of you? No, you wouldn't, nobody would. But because it was her we thought who cares.

The stress of the trial wore on her and her unborn child so they dropped the suit. Unfortunately, the stress was too much on their marriage and when Tommy Lee became physical with her Pamela left him. She was not going to put up with what she watched her mother go through.

She has reinvented herself once again by doing Broadway and learning to love herself in her fifties…bravo!

So today my friends, this shows me how tough she is. After all, she's been through she still believes in love, in forgiveness, she has the strength to go on and keep looking forward. She can laugh at herself even when others are laughing at her.

She has learned lessons the hard way and is never given credit for it.

She is definitely not letting the cover judge who she is.
