trying to rip models and crying

There's been no interest in ripping from Fable 3 from anyone other than me for YEARS so I'm doing it myself,,,, except I suck at it and I can't get the models to export out of blender with their rigging in tact

But I'm closer than I've seen anyone else get!! So I'm keeping that as a little victory while I try not to cry from frustration. Hopefully I'll figure it out and I'll be able to make the content that we wish we got,,, 🥹

☠ CHRONICLES OF A BRAINROT ☠

•━━━━━━━━━━━━━•◦˚❦˚◦•━━━━━━━━━━━━━•

After many years simming in my corner, I finally decided to step out of my comfort zone and share my pixel babies with the simblr/tumblr sphere!

I started playing sims with the first opus when I was pretty tiny, and couldn't stop ever since. This game allows my creativity and inner world to express like no other game would, and that's what I love so much about it.

I created many different worlds, kingdoms and stories, but the one I enjoy the most is my One Piece save I started a year ago. It is the first time I am really eager to leave CAS to actually play the game!

Back in 2015 I've been introduced to the manga/anime universe and I never went back! It truly was a revelation, and a revolution in my own stories. But when I discovered One Piece, all of a sudden I was hooked. This universe is so colorful and deep at the same time, it is the safe place I go whenever I feel down, and it never fails me. It may sound silly but I can't explain how warm it makes me feel. Especially Luffy's vibe and laugh, he's so precious.

So last year when I had to stop working because of bad health issues, my last two brain cells met and said to each other "hey, why not One Piece sims?", and that was it, I began this crazy journey of looking for the perfect OP custom content for the perfect OP babies, being disappointed of not finding many or really old ones...and that is when, after weeks and weeks of research, I decided to create my own One Piece custom content, because, why not?!

I never touched Blender (and a year later I still feel such a newbie with it) nor Photoshop before, but it didn't stop me to throw myself into it and man, despite all the crying seeing my creations in game unexpectedly float in the air or be filled with "???" in CAS and such, I can say that I don't regret anything!

I can sing on stage, write songs or dance, but can I properly draw? No, I cannot. And I've been frustrated for so long since I wanted to do fanarts for my fandoms but I tried, aaand it was bad. Like, really really bad. Fortunately simming is now one of my places of expression, and I'm SO EXCITED about my lil creations & stories.

My wish is to grow a small community of One Piece fans and/or fellow simmers with whom I could share my passions and enjoy theirs. I know you guys are out there, and I love you already!!

I have to ask you a question, I'm sorry it's just that you seem like a nice person and I don't want you to get seriously upset by what I'm going to say and I don't mean this whole thing to be negative.

With all of that out of the way: why do people like to make angsty stuff so much. Like I get it, it's to make aus or even have hcs about those said characters. But I have seen people who make angsty stuff and never continue their work about said angsty stuff and said people who said that the angsty stuff was going to have a happy ending never came though, it's just disheartening to see and just to see that whole bandee getting turned into Morpho thing basically reminded me of that. :/

Look I'll say this with an open heart, I tolerate angsty stuff and for those who make it to have character development or even tell stories and to help people explain hcs about certain characters, I can totally respect and understand. Sometimes we don't have to make happy stuff, sometimes we need to have a story to be told and such, and I wish you the best of luck with your whole bandee au.

Then again I'm very very very sorry for what I said and I hope you can forgive me for that. :[

hey there! I'm not upset by this at all, it seems like an honest question and i will take it in good faith. but it has an extremely simple answer: people generally make content because they enjoy it.

you can also make content for money, or because you think it will do well on social media when you crave ~*~The Numbers~*~ (most of us are at least a little guilty of this). but in terms of a question like this:

"why make that sort of content?" it's because we enjoy it.

why people enjoy angst and its contingents (dark stories, violence, drama, tragedy, etc) is extremely individual. it's like asking why someone likes any genre or any trope, or hell, any flavour in food, any animal, any hobby!

it can be confusing or hurtful when someone doesn't like something that you think is cool and exciting and perfect in every way; and it can be even more confusing- or even scary- when someone likes something you really really don't like.

but, and this is something which I think tends to come with age, it can also be very liberating! someone liking or disliking something in contrast to you is not remotely a bad thing!! it doesn't mean that you are wrong for not liking it, or that they are wrong for genuinely enjoying it*. you're just different; and that's cool and exciting!

because you asked me, i can tell you why I personally like angst:

I like to write drama and angst and put characters into the proverbial blender because:

I like to see characters be unfathomably and inspirationally strong in the face of incredible adversity. I like to see characters go absolutely insane trying to save their loved ones because they cannot imagine a worse fate than that loved one not being with them. I like to see characters fight and fight and fight for the better world that they know they deserve, that their loved ones deserve, and to never give up on each other even when things look absolutely hopeless. I like to see characters hit the despair event horizon; to realise everything is lost, that they've made a mistake, that they'll never get back from this-- and then to do it anyway. and at the end of it, I like to see those characters be happy; to see them comforted and recover and cry with relief because they made it, despite everything.

for that reason, angst and tragedy and drama hits a niche for me that can't be filled by fluff alone. i can write the characters being happy much more easily than writing a whole other plotline. but i like to see them be happy despite everything that tried to prevent them being happy, first.

many folks probably like it for other reasons. and not everybody who likes angst likes happy endings; tbh that hits a different spot of catharsis too! heck, not all of my endings are happy, but most of them are because i find it a bit more personally rewarding!

as for artists or creators who started a work and never finished it; i'm sorry, it sucks when you're invested in something and you don't see the finale. but please, don't hold it against any of those creators or conflate them not providing a happy ending with failure. it probably hurt them greatly to have to give up on telling a story they clearly cared about enough to start and share in the first place. art and storytelling (especially when you are providing it all from the heart for free on social media) is extremely hard work- whether it be fic, art, or sequential comics- and the ability to do it can leave you at any time without warning.

all of this said; if you personally don't like angst, I actually already content warn for it on my work! you can block this tag >> cw angst << or any of my specific AU tags if one is worse for you than the others.

or, perhaps my art just isn't for you! if you don't enjoy my content and are only 'tolerating it', then there's nothing making you look at it. you can either blacklist my tags, or block my account so that none of it shows up on your timeline. I'll continue to draw what I enjoy, and that will include my AUs (including the angsty ones), so if you don't want to see them i suggest you do whatever you need to cultivate your online space accordingly!

anyway, this was long, but i wanted to give you the time of day anon, because you seem genuine. and maybe you haven't had the chance to learn some of these things yet, so i hope you'll find some of this a little helpful! i will say, however: i've seen asks like this sent in to people in much worse faith. i'm going to make abundantly clear that i won't tolerate that here or give the time of day to any rude behaviour. liking or disliking angst/tragedy/whatever does not and never will make you morally superior than the next person; it's just a matter of a variety of personal taste.

and we're all different. and that's cool and exciting!

*i'm putting this here as an important footnote, but i obviously don't mean shit that is objectively harmful or intentionally malicious. i do also think that as online creators, especially in a shared space like a fandom, it's important to listen to tag requests and to cw appropriately for all sorts of things. i myself only just learned that people need warnings for eyes and eye contact! i expect people to cultivate their own online experience, but i also expect this to be made easy and facilitated by comprehensive and considerate tagging and respect of boundaries. i'm still learning but i'll always do my best to tag appropriately!

I had no idea how to describe this when in the fanfic, so just imagine that everything is all fuzzy and she has like.... no idea where she is even though she's at home. She's just really dizzy and all that.

She got out of bed quickly and ran into the bathroom to splash water onto her face.

When she looked in the mirror she got a flashback to when she was alive.

Aponi jumped back from the mirror, attempting to calm herself down with deep breaths before walking over to Theo's crib and making sure he was okay.

She took a deep calming breath and kissed her baby's forehead.

She heard a noise from behind her.

She waited for ut to get closer.... and closer.... until she was able to take out her holy knife, putting it to the suspects neck.... only to reveal the face of her husband.

However the fear on her face was imminent. Especially as her hands shook.

"Darling? What's wrong?" Alastor asked as he took her hand in his, putting he rknife back into her boot before standing striaght and pulling her close to him.

"I had another nightmare," Aponi stated.

"Come on my dear, I'll stay awake with you," he replied as he lead her toward their bed.

hello to all the soupers out there, I'm Roo, not to be mistaken with my own OC/Persona, Roo.

I'm 18, go by He/They, but you can use any pronouns. I play a lot of games, but the one that I'll be posting about (the most anyways) is the Sims 4! I love a lot of other games tho, like Rain world, Project zomboid, Beyond two Souls, Detroit become human, Far cry 5, Minecraft... the list could go on. i've been playing the sims for as long as I can remember, starting with Sims 1, and working up to, now, the Sims 4, Sims 3 will always be my favorite sims game however, no matter how much I play TS4

In TS4, I primarily make sims, occasionally build, play through legacies and share the story of my sims. I love making stories, I'm not that good at writing, but I only make stories to make characters, and to convey character, not to be a masterclass writer.

I'm also a blender user, while not skilled whatsoever in it, I enjoy making simple scenes with as much emotion and atmosphere that I can convey :)

I will frequently update this as my simblr grows and I do more stuff

how do you do these 3d things? I want to know 😭🥲

Like whole process from the very beginning? Oh boy, it's very complicated, you have to be more specific :D but i'll try to explain below

1. Import 3d models, convet files, texture them and edit bones. - This part is the most time consuming and exausting. At least for me. It can take hours. Days (it's not my job so i do it in my free time ;-;). For example one model may have like 20-50 files and every each of them has at least 4 textures that need to be convert and added to Blender. There are no shortcuts, I have to do everything myself, sometimes not knowing what I'm doing, because I'm self-taught and maybe professionals will look at my files and cry how many mistakes I made xd But it's ok! Bts of these renders: Ghost, Price, Konig 4. Add light (and effects, particles etc) -Like HDRIs and shit ton of individual lights. It depends what you want to achieve. Yes, I have a problem, I will add like 15 lights in one render....and I like volumetric ones (my PC cries every time I load preview render in cycles) 😭

5. Last edits like fixing errors, sculpting and editing meshes.

I know it's quite complicated and Blender sounds scary. I had to learn all this on my own in every free time for weeks and I know I still have a long way to go. But I want you all to enjoy renders and I don't want to do a full paywall on my patreon, that's why I care so much that you respect my work and give me credits. I hope I answered your question well. uhh i don't really know what else to write here so have some of my insane ramblings copy+pasted from my shipping doc 👍

Martyn fancies himself a schemer, someone who's not afraid to play the game the way it's intended. If that means earning a powerful ally's trust only to shatter it then he was going to do it. Only, Martyn's bark is worse than his bite, and every night he spends in lying awake in those soft, warm sheets that Ren had laid out just for him (freshly washed too, he might add. Smelled like sunshine) he wonders if he can do it. He can, of course. (he can't. he won't. he's too soft. soft and useless.) He'd cut his head off already. (he wants to vomit) (this is why no one needs you. wants you. loves you) Who cares about other people anyway? He is the only one who really matters. (the thought of being alone makes him want to cry) Ren, on the other hand, is a capable leader. The definition of loyal and dependable, if not a bit dramatic. He struggles with self-worth, being good enough, useful enough, powerful enough. But to others, he's the opposite, caring and protective of any who would ask for his aid. After all, every citizen deserves to live in safety and comfort, and providing that is what a good King would do. ~ Martyn's not as sneaky as he thinks he is. Ren knows. Ren sees the signs. It's a death game for a reason. But he doesn't let Martyn know. He doesn't even hold it against him. He doesn't see the bloodthirst anymore, only the broken pieces lying underneath. ~ or the King's Hand, it was the thrill of feeling Useful, Powerful, Feared (loved). He was going to miss it after he betrayed him, the high of bloodlust, the smell in the air as he charged into battle. (the way his hands held him so gently) For the King himself, deep down he knew it was never to be. He had met a monster, but he hoped his efforts calmed the storm ever so slightly. On some days, he pretends to forget about the death game entirely and imagines the speech he'd give to retire his Hand. "You don't have to fight anymore," he'd say, "I'll take care of you from now on, I promise. So put the sword down, okay?" But in the end, it was all a fantasy, wasn't it?

WiP Whenever

Thank you @gloryride , @chevvy-yates and @dreamskug for the tag. And i now have something to show.

I'm currently learning how to make my own poses and here's my first shitty test replacer pose:

It's awful but Lexa didn't explode anymore (yeah, poor baby) and i didn't break her arms or other parts. So, i count that as a success 😂

Honestly it was a fight. With a lot of cursing and angry crying 😂 Tools weren't cooperating, my brain melted and posing in Blender is a bitch for me really challenging.

Next step will be creating a shitty test replacer couple pose. After that i'll try to make the poses AXL (feat cursing and angry crying), which will be even more awful i think. But i hope it will be worth it.

I thought it was time to learn how to do poses myself, because of couple stuff, because i need left handed gun/general fighting poses for Johnny and because i want more poses, so Maelstrom Lexa can have fun with her Mantis Blades 😏

Also when it comes to shippy VP, i have ideas, but i also feel like i overused every pose that there is, which is why i'm not really motivated atm. So maybe that changes now.

Also i'm working on Lexa's wardrobe a little bit. Mostly on Maelstrom Lexa's (i just like throwing Maelstrom decals and skulls on everything 😂), but V Lexa will also get some personal stuff.

🔥 something about food (you've mentioned that you cook a lot but you don't foodpost that much)

I do need to foodpost more. Especially recipes, which I almost never remember to write down after I come up with them. Maybe I'll make up for lost mileage here on the rest.

The problem is it's hard to "Post" post about food because 100% of food snobbery is bullshit. When I dunk on New York pizza and say New Jersey's is better there's no more substance to it than when I make fun of the way Manhattanites say "bodega," I'm just being neighborly. Few people who e.g. decry pre-jarred minced garlic can tell the difference, most people who snob just like to seem like they're in on something.

The truth is that most people aren't bad at cooking, and it isn't really something you can be "bad" at. There's no great secret to it except the knowledge that all of the barriers that people have to getting "good" at cooking are psychological, and the faith that these barriers will be easily overcome with repetition.

You just have to do it more, by making a habit of it, and slowly work your way out of your comfort zone. Yes, I won't sugarcoat it, if you do take way too big a risk and fuck up a big fancy dish that's above your skill level that took hours of work, yes it will suck and if you're like me you will then order pizza or chinese food when you can afford to so that you'll be crying eating something other than a peanut butter sandwich for dinner. Yes, these things do happen, but much less often than you think. The real skill you develop in cooking is learning how to not take on more than you personally can handle, everything else is vocabulary and muscle memory.

This is why the most important thing is to start out simple as you build a habit of cooking and reprogram your brain first to believe that it feeds itself by making things not by scavenging them. You need to pick something where you are less likely to stress out about whether you will fuck it up and not eat dinner. If you like eggs, fry a lot of eggs until you can do it easily. I ate a Gaston number of eggs as a teenager. They're hard to master, (which you don't need to do) but also hard to render inedible after the first few tries. If you don't like or can't eat eggs there are other foods like this that are good to start out with, and generally soups, stews and chilis are also easy and a good way to ingratiate yourself with your roommates. You don't need to make the mother sauces or push yourself to do anything else french in order to make the other people around you happy, in fact I've seen no evidence that it even helps.

As you cook more, learn to take the easy way out when you can, e.g. buy a rice cooker if you believe it will mean you cook rice more often, but otherwise don't. If that sounds unhelpful to you now, know that a lot of this is as much self-knowledge as general cooking knowledge - i.e. what sort of things are you going to be lazy about? As you get more practice, you can focus on how to structure recipes in your head that work with your worst impulses. For me, I can't put up with more than a few minutes of chopping vegetables on most days, so I've started throwing raw onions, garlic, and other aromatics in a blender whenever they're going to fully cook down anyway. Some people apparently find chopping vegetables relaxing, and others might not feel comfortable deviating this much from a recipe at first, so they might not do this. But it's not a life hack, it's a personal idiosyncrasy. My setup works for me, etc.

As far as materials, it's also mostly all marketing bullshit. Don't go to reddit buyitforlife for product recommendations, you don't need a $200 chef's knife to cut tomatoes for a sandwich and you don't need anything with copper or cast iron in it. Get a good stainless steel saute pan, a sheet pan or two for the oven, and a heavy bottomed soup pot, if you don't already have them. Don't buy anything that costs more than $50. If you're worried about burning your house down, buy a fire extinguisher and keep it in your kitchen. If you're not worried about burning your house down, buy two of them, because you're the type of person who might burn their house down. If you're still worried, don't deep fry anything, keep a lid near your pan while cooking as a saftey blanket and learn what the word "saute" means and you'll do just fine.

tl;dr: it's not complicated

Extremely long rant about this thing's creation under the cut.

aaaAAAUUUGGGHHH okay. So imo this poster is kind of a mess and I'm not happy with the lighting at all, but if I work on it for a single second longer I will simply cry.

So there's a gordon model on the sfm workshop that has outfits like the one above, and I was quite determined to make this in gmod, so I had to learn how to port ragdolls from sfm to gmod. You'd think this would be a fairly easy task - they're both source, after all, and there are tutorials - but it was a multiple-weeks-long journey of roadblocks followed by breakthroughs followed immediately by additional roadblocks. There was vital knowledge not in the tutorials. And I didn't fully succeed, anyway - the above image is his sfm body with his gmod head so so so carefully aligned to it in-game (there is a whole additional invisible gordon body in this image). If I wanted to put him in a different pose, I would have to re-align his head. Which is, like... way harder than it has any right to be. Sooo much harder. And that's with the "reference" head I have - like, okay, sfm-gordon's body does have a head attached, but the issue is that it doesn't have the correct facial posing. So I use it as a reference for placing gmod-gordon's head. I know why getting a functioning sfm-gordon head in gmod is harder than than the rest of him (or at least I think I do), and I think I know what I need to do to make it happen (though it will sacrifice a bit of his sfm-level complexity), but I don't yet know how, and at this point spending like 2 hours getting his head aligned juuuust right in-game is so much less time and effort than figuring out how to do that, so... Later, I'll figure it out. Maybe.

But yeah, there was a hell of a lot of very frustrating trial-and-error involved in that whole process because it's very difficult to find resources for a lot of stuff unless you already have the knowledge to know what to look for.

And that was my first trial.

I liked this desk model the best, but it didn't have a bumpmap, so I generated one for it, which made me feel very fancy and tech-proficient, but really all I had to do was open up the texture in vtfedit and click "generate normal map" or whatever. Oh, yeah, I'd been looking into porting models from sketchfab and such into gmod for a while, off-and-on, a while back (and dabbled a tiiiny bit in map-editing too), so the knowledge from then definitely helped me a lot. I probably wouldn't have gotten this poster done if it wasn't for that, because at that point it would have all been too arcane and overwhelming.

But yeah, you can't even actually see anything but the top of the desk, so I could have just chosen a good texture and used a rectangle instead, and the bumpmap is barely visible in this poster, lol.

Then there's the mousepad. It's a re-textured street sign, by the way. :) I put an absurd amount of effort into that too. I got the black mesa logo off google, but the large majority of the effort to turn it into a mousepad involved messing with the texture with tedious in-game tools.

Then, that book, I got it off a free 3d models website, because I didn't like any of my already-available options. I had to learn a bit about UV maps through trial and error in blender to get it to work right, because nothing is easy. That's the first time I've ever actually ported a non-source object into gmod, so that's cool. (Gordon being the first time I've ever ported something at all. To my recollection, anyway...?) Oh, and I had to learn about how to convert a more modern texture format into valve's obsolete one. That involved being subjected to sights like this:

Next was the mug. All the mug models I had were not smoothly circular enough for me (Or I think maybe there was one or two, but I really didn't like their shape either way). They were quite obviously made of a few flat planes arranged into a circle-ish shape, and that just wouldn't do. So I went and found another free 3d model, slapped the black mesa logo on it, and put it in gmod. I... Did not consider how much more complex it would be as something intended for 3d art / ads rather than video games; I think it has more vertices than Gordon, LOL. It's not so many that it actually lags the game, so it doesn't really matter, but I do find it funny.

And then those papers! I remembered that letter sent to Gordon from the PS2 Half-Life case had a coffee mug stain on it, and I wanted it on the table, but, remembering how much of a pain it was to make the mousepad, I opted to actually create my own models for them this time. They're just rectangles, after all, so it's not like the modeling part was going to be a challenge.

Well, it wasn't a challenge, really, but it did take quite a bit longer than I had expected, partially since I had to muddle through stuff I only sort of had an understanding of. Anyway, it took like, an hour and a half, or two hours? I finally get it into the game, and as I'm putting it on the table, I realize... The coffee stain is in black and white. OTL

So. I put the other page on top. Sad. I mean, I could have just added a free in-color coffee-stain png to the texture somewhere, but. *Gestures.* I had expended too much energy so far to be in the mood to do that.

And this barney model... It is cursed somehow. Or it hates me. The more you pose it, the more resistant it becomes to being posed. The posing tools just.. don't do what you ask them to do after a certain point. So I wasn't super happy with the pose but it was good enough. ToT Originally I wanted to post 3 posters with them in different poses as if they were having a conversation, but yeah, I am not posing that Barney any more, lol. It may have been the fault of the tool I used to make him Small, I'm not sure. Will need further testing.

And THEN.

I take 18 different lightbounce renders, writing down the settings I used and whatever I did differently each time, trying to feel out the tool and find a render I really like. (Last time I kinda just did whatever and settled on an early render I liked without really bothering to figure it out much). At render #18, I get one I'm happy with, so I throw it into GIMP and- oh, now it looks different and bad. Wtf. I try a different image editing program and the same thing happens. I google the issue and decide it probably has to do with some crappy default windows color settings getting imported into the program along with the image, and decide I'll go to bed and deal with that tomorrow. (Oh, yeah, I kept staying up way too late thinking I'd just finish the poster before I went to bed, but never finishing it...)

But no! As I find out the next day from more googling and experimentation, it turns out the windows photo app auto-"enhances" your photos. I'd been judging the renders by how they looked in the app this whole time, so the way it looks in GIMP is how it actually looks. All that experimentation on what looks best the night before... Done on the basis of how they looked after windows "enhanced" them without me knowing.. OTL

And so today I do some more lightbounce render experimentation. I try again and again, but I can't get it to look the way I was able to make it look before, even accounting for the auto-"enhancement". No clue what I did different that night, but okay. So I settle for the way the renders have decided to look tonight, and try to get one that I like the best out of the options it's giving me, but... This tool was created by arcane wizards. This tool is a wild, untamed beast. Even in the same session, I'll be like, "How did I do that and how do I make it happen again." Eventually I kind of gave up and just worked with the most inoffensive one I could generate. I suspect this tool wasn't designed with such small scenes in mind.

The main light source render - well, i hardly experimented with it, because I just wanted to be done with this freakin' thing already.

Anyway, that's... most of it. How long has it been? Like a month? And I was working on this nearly every day. All just for this thing. But it consumed me, man. I couldn't focus on anything else.

Maybe now I can do other things... Like I said, I'm really not happy with the lighting, but I'm so excited to just put this behind me. orz Hopefully my dissatisfaction doesn't turn into an un-ignorable need to keep fiddling with it. I refuse. I refuse! I am doing something else now!

Oh, however! In the process of all that, I may have found out a way to be able to facepose resized-barney, something as-of-yet impossible for me. Still have to try it out. Exciting stuff...

This one looks like a lot of fun! I'll do this for April from The Magician and Ms. Psychic.

When the news cuts back from commercial, the regular news anchor is nowhere to be seen. In his place, a woman in a neatly pressed black suit and a white domino mask sits with her feet propped up on the desk and her gaze trained down on the phone in her hand.

Someone clears their throat from off screen. Her attention snaps up towards them.

"We're live already?" She tucks her phone inside her suit jacket and jumps to her feet. "Why didn't you fuckwads warn me?" She brushes a rogue strand of red hair away from her face, shooting dirty looks all around the room.

A faint pop echoes through the room as she teleports to the other side of the desk to grin into the camera.

"Heyya everyone!" She punctuates her greeting with a double finger-guns gesture. "It's the Magician here! Um... obviously."

She pauses to straighten her bowtie.

"Listen, if I'm gonna be taking over this city soon, it's only fair that you know a little bit about me, so I've got some-" a piece of paper appears in her hand with a flick of her wrist - "questions printed out right here. You guys better be paying attention, or I'm gonna replace all of your bones with glowsticks."

She hums thoughtfully, casting her gaze down towards the paper for the first question.

1. Are you named after anyone?

"Not as far as I know."

2. When was the last time you cried?

"Don't be ridiculous. Supervillains don't cry." She stares down at the paper for a few seconds before looking back up to the camera. "Okay, apparently last week I was crying because my girlfriend is too pretty. In my defense, my brain was all scrambled with a concussion, and she is ridiculously pretty."

3. Do you have kids?

"It feels a little too early for me to be thinking about kids just yet. Maybe someday, though."

4. Do you use sarcasm?

"Doesn't everybody?"

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

"The way they're dressed. Maybe that's low hanging fruit or whatever, but some people around here have no idea how to dress themselves. Seriously, the next person I see in horribly clashing colors is getting their feet chopped off and tossed in a blender."

6. What's your eye color?

"Why don't you see for yourself?" She leans forward to give the camera a close up of her bright green eyes.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

"I love those stupid cheesy rom-coms, especially when I watch them with my girlfriend." Her gaze flickers down back to the paper for a brief moment before snapping back up to the camera. "Wait. Shit. I'm supposed to sound intimidating, aren't I?" She clears her throat. "Scary movies are the best. I like the... violence."

8. Any special talents?

"I mean, obviously." A knife appears in her hand with a flick of her wrist. "I'm the Magician. Magic is my whole thing." She makes the knife disappear and reappear a couple more times for emphasis.

9. Where were you born?

"I was born right here in the city of Metrovale. It's the super capital of the world! At least, it will be once I'm through with it."

10. What are your hobbies?

"Oh you know. Kidnapping. Bank robbery. Magic. All that fun stuff."

11. Have you any pets?

"Nah. I don't really have time to take care of a pet right now. I think it might be cool to have a little rabbit buddy someday, though."

12. What sports do you play/have played?

"I don't like running in general. Do you really think that's gonna change when there's a ball involved?"

13. How tall are you?

"I'm five foot ten, but these boots get me up to about six two." She lifts her foot to show off her black platform boots.

14. Favorite subject in school?

"Uh... does lunch count? I'm counting lunch. School was shit, but at least I got some food while I was there."

15. Dream job?

"Supreme empress of the world." She pauses. "Actually, the whole world seems like way too much responsibility. Just ruling Metrovale would be enough. And maybe after that-"

"Magician." A voice interrupts from off screen.

All at once, the Magician's grin fades. "Ms. Psychic." She doesn't even turn around to address her. "What the fu-"

The camera clicks off.
