Hmm, how about a genshin story with a child god of Teyvat? I honestly can't think of any character(s) who should be in there, so I think I'll let you decide. I really like your writing, so I can't be disappointed. 👁👁

Genshin Characters with a child god of Teyvat

A/N: I am so happy that you like my writing! This one is also a pretty long one but I hope you like it! I picked some of my fav characters for this and had a lot of fun writing for them :D

-⚔️ The Traveler and Paimon were just wandering around sumeru when they got called to meet up with Nahida. When they both made it to nahida they saw her talking to a child who looked like they were half listening and half paying attention to they toys they were playing with. -⚔️ After Paimon made their presents known Nahida walked towards them and started explaining why they were here, she explained that the god of teyvat was here and asked if they could protect and care for them after explaining that the child was the god of teyvat and being such a young child they are defensless and even though she is sure no one would hurt them people cough the fatui cough might try to take them. -⚔️ The Traveler agreed straight away and went to talk to you, after some talking with each other the Traveler picked you up as you three said goodbye to Nahida and made your way to the place the Traveler and Paimon were staying for the meantime. -⚔️ Paimon loved playing with you and your toys, you were just so cute and calming to be around, you two also ate lots of food together. You guys were almost like siblings and the Traveler was like your parent!

"Okay you two, we will be going to the market to get some things okay? go get your shoes on little light and wait near the door okay?" you nodded and ran to go put your shoes on. After a little while of you rocking back and forth the Traveler and Paimon came to the door and you three went off. The traveler was looking at different stalls when they heard the sound of you screaming, they looked over to see a fatui agent trying to drag you away from the market, as soon as they were about to run over the whole ground shook and Paimon held onto the Traveler, they looked over to see you were sitting down and crying with the fatui agent no were to bee seen, not even thinking twice the Traveler ran over and scooped you up in their arms and started comforting you. After they were finished and your crying turned into small sniffles they laughed softly "thats a new one huh? thats the perks of being the god of teyvat I guess"

-🧪 When all the fatui got called by the Tsaritsa they weren't expecting to be told that the god of teyvat was found and one of them are going to take care of them. -🧪 Thats when Dottore found out that he was going to take care of the god, the god thats a child at that and I mean even he was confused that they were trusting him with a child but yet again he would never think of hurting you. -🧪 He picked you up after bowing to the Tsaritsa and left to his office, contacting pantalone to get you some toys, coloring books and everything else you wanted. -🧪 He never did experiments while you were in the room and always called Pantalone to take you out whenever he was going to do experiments.

"Dot! Dot! look what I drew! its us and Mr Pantalone!" you squealed as you ran into his office and showing him your drawing, he smiled and patted you on the head as you giggled softly "that looks amazing my little god, have you shown Mr Pantalone?" he asked pausing his report on his new experiment and turning his attention to you, you shook your head "well you should go show him huh?" you gasped and quickly nodded running out of his office and making your way to pantalones office. It has been a few hours scence you came and showed Dottore your drawing and he was just thinking you were deciding to spend time with Pantalone when he heard screaming that sounded like your voice, quickly he stood up from his desk and was about to run to the door when it slammed open to show 2 new fatui agents holding you. Dottore marched over with a dark auror around him and commanded them to drop you, after they did you quickly got up and ran to him hugging his leg and crying into his pants, he picked you up and softly comforted you while usally he wouldn't show this side infront of fatui agents these ones wouldn't last long enough to step out of the room. After you calmed down and fell asleep in his arms he called Pantalone and he took you from Dottore, meanwhile the two new agents knew that they messed up big time and that this would be the last time they ever got to live. No one hurts you and gets away with it while your in Dottores care.

-🎨 Albedo was looking at different papers when Klee ran into the house dragging another kid with her, she started rambling but they were able to make out the important parts such as you being the god of teyvat and that Amber found you when she was out and brought you too the favonius knights and that Klee took you. -🎨 Albedo smiled softly and crouched down infront of you and asked if you were okay staying with it and Klee, you nodded and hugged him. -🎨 Albedo soon informed the knights that they would be taking care of you and that you will be staying at their house. While it was telling the knights that Klee decided to show you her bombs! -🎨 You mostly stayed inside the house helping Albedo with paper work and cooking, when your not in the house your running around with Klee and blowing fish up and covering Klee up so she doesn't get introuble!

Albedo tried not to laugh and only let out small snickers at seeing you on your tippy toes trying to see over the tall desk to see what it was drawing, after enough of your suffering you pouted and turned around looking up at Albedo with puppy eyes and grabby hands, shaking his head while smiling he picked you up and placed you on his lap and you looked with sparkles in your eyes at the drawing they did. They got you some paper and crayons and you started your own art with your tongue slightly poked out showing your concentration. A couple hours later you you were finished and lifted it up to show albedo "look! look!" you squealed while showing your finished drawing of it, Klee and you as a family! Albedo smiled softly and picked you up making its way to the kitchen "that's amazing my little artist! why don't you hang it on the fridge and grab some stuff for dinner?" you nodded and slid out of their grip, running over to the fridge and hanging the drawing up. After Klee got home you all cooked dinner together like the small found family you were!

-🐍 It was like what happened with Klee and Albedo, Baizhu was looking around for his medicine when he heard Qiqi's voice calling out for them, when he turned around to greet Qiqi it saw that she had another child that looked like the god of teyvat. -🐍 After Changsheng confirmed that you were the god it took it upon themself to look after you and Qiqi, Changsheng didn't want another child running around but she could let it pass just for you. -🐍 You helped Baizhu out by getting different ingredients for medicine, putting cold towels on paitents heads, keeping Hu toa away from Qiqi whenever she tried to steal Qiqi, you were just a helpful little assistant! -🐍 Qiqi also loved having a sibling around to keep her company and to keep the Hu toa lady away from her, she once intruduced you to coco goat milk and you loved it!

"Itss been quiet for a while hassn't it Baizhu?" Changsheng said while watching Baizhu write down a letter to a paitents family telling them that the paitent was okay and healthy "mm, it has been quiet hasn't it? I'll go check on the kids" they got up and left the room, slowly shutting the door behind him so it doesn't wake the person up and making his way to the place they sent you and Qiqi to collect some glaze lilies. When Baizhu made it they didn't see you two at first glance but after looking around it saw you and Qiqi making little flower crowns out of the glaze lilies, smiling they made their way towards you too and sat down "what happened to collecting glaze lilies you two?" he asked with a smirk on its face, you just smiled and started giggling "but we made flower crowns for you and Changsheng!" you got up and plopped a flower crown on his head and a smaller one on Changshengs head. You squealed and started laughing when Baizhu grabbed you and started tickling your sides "this is payback for making me worried little assistant!" you couldn't stop laughing as you fell into Baizhus lap, Qiqi running over and plopping into their lap too.

I do have the RGB reader designs that I mainly use so that other fans could (maybe....just maybe...) mold their reader/player into whatever they want but I DO have a design that caters to my fav design tropes...

ALSOALSO- I've got a folder righttt 👉here where I'll compile some more sketches (and the animation with the right sync good gracious me-) so that I dont BOMBARD you with 50plus images.

What a year it's been for fic writing!⭐️

There have been soooo many stories I've read and enjoyed this year, that's it's been super hard to pick favourites, and I've spent a good amount of time this year trying to narrow it down to just 25.

Listen, every single story I've read this year has been absolutely amazing. I am blown away by the sheer amount of talent and creativity we have in this fandom!

If you're not featured here on this particular list, it's not because I don't like your work or didn't enjoy it - far from it. I've simply put together a list of my personal favourites this year, based on how they made me feel, how often I re-read them, and some that have completely floored me.

And if you want more than just the 25 fic recs I've mentioned here, then please check out my Pedro Character Fav Fic Rec List where all the stories I've read/want to read and come across are featured. My TBR is through the roof, let me tell you, but it's a great problem to have!

I used to have an obsession with Mario games back when I was a kid, specially with princess daisy, ( and these two were one of my first ships ever) I used to pick her anytime I could, still do and she's still my fav princess lol so after watching The mario movie some of it came back to me, I loved the movie , watched it twice, hope we see Daisy in a sequel !!

I feel so weird coming back to post art after so long, but I couldn´t make art for myself because of my health and being busy, I have other sketches but those aren't finished yet!

after I recover from my Surgery I'll try to draw a bit more :)

Random small headcanons for my fav SJM men

Those are totally random thoughts I had and just kept collecting, also I'll be adding new ones when I'll come up with something. Feel free to reblog and add yours <3

I think Gavriel can draw really well, especially with pencil. Like, you know, he's a really precise and detailed guy, plus thanks to his soldier skills he has really stable hands, and it just sits right with me

Azriel loves when you paint his nails black. Also once you made him wear eyeliner and he actually really liked the results, so now from time to time he lets you do it

Aedion has his ears pierced but doesn't wear any earrings (it was probably a dare, even more likely he was drunk then)

Ruhn likes to have a small, faint lamp put on when he sleeps. It looks like a white sparkle and doesn't cast much light but having it next to his bed makes him feel somehow more safe and comfy

Also, he loves being held while sleeping. When you let him snuggle to your chest and hold him tight... It's his paradise, he can stay like this for eternity

Cassian is very ticklish (especially on feet). It's actually his secret because, come on, he's the Lord of Bloodshed, how can he be ticklish? And of course you fully respect that, not wanting his reputation to suffer, however, when it's just the two of you... Let's say Cass has to be pretty alert most times as you love to take advantage of that

Fenrys always brings you a plushie from his travels to foreign countries. Actually, he brings you many different things like jewellery, dresses, combs, mirrors, gems... everything. But a plushie, is a must. You have a whole collection of small cute stuffed animals (mostly wolves) from different parts of the world. Every one of them has a name, personality and a back story which you and Fenrys always come up with

Aedion is a horse girl. He rides so well and just loved being around those animals since he was a little boy. Often he takes you on all day long trips around Terrasen. Also he has few of his favorite horses and he spoils them so much, they're just his babies.

He also probably has like six dogs and wants to adopt every one he sees on the street

Lorcan most of the times either doesn't cuddle or is the big spoon. However, after really hard day he loves to fall asleep with his face in your breasts and his hair stroked

Sometimes when Rowan is engrossed in his work, he hums songs mindlessly

Fenrys talks in his sleep, and this goes to the point where you can literally argue with him or have a whole conversation as he's asleep

Aedion swears a lot. Gavriel doesn't swear almost ever and his face when Aedion starts throwing curses he could never imagine is just priceless

However, Gavriel knows many langues. So, whenever he's angry and finally hit his breaking point, he starts shit talking and insulting everyone in a foreign langue no one knows (just imagine him aggressively talking to himself in Spanish while walking around and throwing hands in the air lol)

Cassian always sleeps naked and refuses (will literally get offended) to do otherwise, even if there are different people sleeping in the room (read: Azriel)

Dorian baby talks to his dogs. Sometimes when he does this he forgets that he is a king and then have the whole castle talking about it for the next week (people find it adorable though. some of them at least.)

Rowan always has some blades with him. Always. Dude could be standing in the room only in his boxers and still proceed to pull out a knife from gods know where

Also, he will never admit it but he has some of his favorite blades that he had named. But if you'd ever done this he would laugh at you

Once you've gotten Ruhn a bracelet for his birthday that was a guitar pick of his favorite guitarist on a black string and from then he doesn't take it off. Ever.

We know Ruhn has this very rare and useful ability to speak in people's minds, however his favorite way to use those abilities is to make the dumbest jokes in your head in the most random moments and watch you burst out laughing around all those strangers that have no idea what is going on

AND SO FUCKING DOES AEDION

(he also got the big d genes from him but it's the topic for other post)

So, Fenrys is a master at coming up with the weirdest nicknames for his loved one, however, no one compares to Cassian in this matter. His creativity sometimes is more than flesh and blood can bear

Lorcan is actually the biggest girl dad

Let's be honest, Dorian has better skin care than any lady in the whole sjm universe

Cassian loves being called your pretty princess

Azriel loves puzzles. And Legos! There's no better way to spend your day off than building castles and forts, and then having an actual battle between your kingdoms

Bat boys are not really fond of thunder... I think they have bad experiences with flying during storm and it haunts them to this day. They always want to be the little spoons and be cuddled when there's a storm outside

Azriel has bat slippers and Fenrys has wolf or bunny slippers

Dorian loves wearing sygnets. He has so many and you're simply obsessed with them. He's a king, he has to look decent, you know, but Dorian loves wearing them even if it's just the two of you snuggling or sitting in the library reading. Or when he fucks you and you can feel them dig into your skin when he grabs your ass..

Lorcan enjoys having his hair combed. He just melts when you do it. And if you do a little braid somewhere on his head he will keep it and wear it for the next few days

Gavriel is the best dancer you will ever meet. On the balls he can easily make everyone's attention turn to the two of you. But he also likes to dance with you in your house or chambers, where there are no people or music, and to be honest both of you like those moments much better

oohh this reminds me i should pick up my ff.net archival reclist project up again...

it is of note that it's been a looooong while since i've combed the archives and there's a couple of common tropes i don't usually read due to personal taste, so i'm sure there's a lot of good fic i'm unaware of and/or forgetting about! this has totally renewed my interest in making a comprehensive personal reclist >:) perhaps i'll come back and edit this post every now and then.

i owe comments to nearly everyone mentioned here i am SO sorry. it's a lost skill that i am working on developing again. at the very least i've got everyone in one place so i can go down the list this year. i encourage everyone reading from this reclist to leave a comment too!

•scarification (2012) by gacrux11 on fanfiction.net, rated m, big time dead dove do not eat. sorry this one leans early 2010s era grimdark melodrama but i love it sjkdfkjfd. not enough dead dove fics about the boys if u ask me. • salt in the wound (2007) •tempus fugit (2007), and • white out (2006) by vaudevillain king on fanfiction. net. a beloved rare find. all of them are rather grimdark edgy products of their era, but some of the best the era had to offer. they make me so nostalgic for my teenagehood on fanfiction.net. i get the impression these might've been written even before death note was finished? • birthday smut (2009) by kleine_aster on livejournal. explicit. this one is SO funny to me because it is both really, really good, very in character, but unfortunately it suffers from almost satirical misogyny that afflicted fujoshis back in the day. near literally is like oh that bitch... like. he would not fucking think that but i can edit quickly in my brain as i read. bisexual mello rights! otherwise really sexy imo. i might be writing something that's kind of in conversation with this fic.

• you've heard about it before and you will hear about it again: the archer ensnared (2023) by jabbernatty, rated e. a jessaerys obligatory syllabus read, the fic that made me go fulltime yaoi disease. i owe so much to jabbernatty they are my white whale my friend my enemy the writer i've psychically imprinted on from the beginning. honestly too scared to even leave a comment given the jessarys archer ensnared lore. may one day may contact and pray i don't come across as insane • postmortem (2023) by the_hemlock true gen, a favorite of ALL time. it's only tangentially mn really, it is 99% about near trying to piece together the mystery of lawlight post-canon, but the characterization and prose are some of if not the best i've ever come across. reads like it could be a piece of canon material. if you only read one fic on this list i'd pick postmortem. • it's friday i'm in love by neallo/@neallo rated m. possibly my all time fave in the neallo cinematic universe. something about the after-hours longing and the standing in the kitchen by the refrigerator lights, as the poets say. i love when stories feel like you're cutting out a window to peer into a larger universe that is just out of reach. perfectly captures what it is like to have a maddening crush • i want to hold you (hostage)(2023) by neallo/@neallo rated e. thee defining fic of this current modern mellonear era. manages to walk the line of kinky/sexy/sweet/fluffy all at once. plot twist of the century in the last chapter. near is properly as bananas insane as mello is in this fic, which is the marker of a good mellonear dynamic. really everything by morgan neallo is a safe bet for a great read • there's nothing i want but you (2023) by neallo/@neallo rated t. wammy's era mellonear obsessiveness that is soooo teenagery and yet a portent of just how codependent they might one day get. cute and ominous. • armageddon/kill game (2024) by bolide/@bolide-archive came out of nowhere a couple of months ago and ascended to the top of the game like a dark horse. rated m, chess au. one of my favorite interior mello narrations and one of the most similar to my own interpretation. such naturally talented prose. i rotate lines from this in my head all the time. still in progress but i have faith that it will be completed :') • how to burn down the sacred loom (2023) by dornishviper/@vriskarlmarx a contemporary CLASSIC. the less you know going in the better. beautiful prose, beautiful structure. they don't make fic like this anymore • the house always wins (2023) by mer_curia/@vivi-scera. screaming with my mouth closed. holds a special place in my heart given that it is my posting that convinced vi to give the ship a try, and i was rewarded with a fic that is so catered to my tastes i honestly had to read it through my fingers. SO good, the manifesto on wammyscest, so rather controversial. heed the warnings. • moonlight (2023) by tsukinousagi/@quicktimeeventfull rated t. an austere, cold little glimpse into a vampire au. it's giving let the right one in. so melancholic. one of the saddest near examinations out there. •proximity tells (2018) by abysmallypresent, rated m. truly lives up to death note's second-by-second minutia while managing to keep up the tension the entire time. great characterization. •silhouettes (2015) by bad blood/eroticcodependence, @wxmmyshouse on tumblr. unrated, post-canon compliant. made me CRY! elegantly short and simple, bittersweet and so so wistful. •arsonist's lullabye (2023) by tzviaariella/@tzviaariella. rated t. this one has a heart-wrenching air of realism to it that exists outside the chaotic universe of death note, one of those examinations of picking up the pieces after the titans have all gone away. very bittersweet.

★ Johnny often picks his skin and cuts himself (poor thing has cuts all over his arms and legs) so what Ponyboy does is try to motivate him. Him and Johnny share an account on an app that tracks how long a person has been clean, whenever Johnny hits a milestone Ponyboy would give him kisses.

Ponyboy's kissing system:

1 month: A quick peck on the lips or on the cheek

6 months: A kiss on the lips

1 year: A loving kiss

It builds up so for 5 months Johnny would receive 5 quick pecks or kisses on the cheek!

youre sitting on the floor while he picks up the rest of the glass

once he tosses the glass out into the bin, you couldnt hold it in as you started bawling

dazai quickly comes to you, he kneels in front of you trying to get your attention

thankfully you look at him and reach for him

he gently manuvers you onto his lap and allows you to curl into him

"o-osamu, I cant anymore, it.. it hurts"

the detecrive wont say anything more than a few short comforting whisperings and shushing you while he plays with your hair and gives your head a few kisses

he'll wait to move from the floor when you can breathe, and if you need a little guidance, he will see to it

"y/n, look at the palm of my hand. When we breathe in, you're gonna slowly trace all my fingers starting with my thumb, okay? You're gonna do the same thing when we breathe out. Go from the middle of my palm to the thumb, alllll the way to my pinky, can my lovely do that? here, lets do it together."

And slowly you inhale, you tickle his fingers when you trace the base of each of them up to his fingertips, then go back down to meet the following finger. You make your way back to his thumb and you exhale as you repeat the action all over again.

he'll pick your body up against his and he'll cuddle you in bed until you fall asleep

"my sweet girl, you did so well. I love you, have sweet dreams. I'll join you soon."

And when you wake up, you'll be met with your fav take out and a new spft blanket that was just in the dryer

"I dont like it when your sad, and I'm not good with nice words, but I can listen so spit it out so I can make you feel better."

A/n: fav trope with my favorite girl 🥰 guest-starring the one bed trope hehe

Warnings:

Since you first met Nesta you always pushed each other. Well, she pushed first. You had tried to be nice for Feyre's sake but were unsuccessful. When you were sparring Cassian or Azriel would always have to break you up. You'd always bicker at meals and are passive-aggressive when you run into each other.

Now, in some stupid scheme of his, Rhys has forced the two of you to go on a scouting mission to “build trust” between you. It wasn't working. The whole time you and Nesta have been walking it was spent bickering about small things or you were silent.

Finally, at the plateau of the mountain you were climbing, you both take a minute to rest. Looking around you spot a small cave entrance. Taking a few steps in you don't notice anything off until you spot a pair of yellow eyes staring at you in the dark. Starting to retreat, you tripped at the cave entrance, falling flat on your ass. You began to panic as the wild beast came closer at an alarming pace.

You scrambled backward, forcing it to follow you into the sunlight. Letting out a scream, Nesta noticed what was happening. Drawing her sword she rushed over to the cave entrance and sliced at the beast. It let out a howl as it staggered back. Nesta kept slashing as it backed closer to the edge of the small cliff. Nesta kicked out and the beast went flying. She looked over the edge and you heard a loud thud echoing around the valley below.

Stalking over to you, Nesta grabbed the front of your leathers pulling you off the ground roughly. “Why would you ever do something so stupid!” She yelled in your face. Your pointed ears twitched at the loudness. “You could’ve been killed. Don’t ever do that again.” She let go of you, walking away to make sure there were no other dangers lurking.

You felt a strange feeling rush over you. Like you were upset you had made her worried, angry, and disappointed. You watched as she paced the landing. Knowing something changed the way you see Nesta. You were curious if something changed with her too.

In the weeks following the mountainside incident, you and Nesta have been kinder to each other. Less bickering, dinners were less hostile, and when you saw each other around the house you seemed to stumble around her. Acting like a lovesick teenager. You had no idea what was going on with you when it came to Nesta.

A month later Nesta was avoiding you. You had attempted to start a conversation with her in the kitchen of the House of Wind one day, but she just looked at you like you were speaking another language and hurried off.

You asked Azriel if he knew why she was avoiding you. Az told you he knew nothing and that Nesta was just a mystery. The family's usual answer for Nesta's actions.

Later that day Rhys called you to his office. You walked down the long carpeted hallway, staring down, picking at your fingers from general nerves. Reaching for the doorknob, another hand accidentally touched yours. Nesta. You pulled back and looked up at her, her eyes wide in surprise.

“Sorry,” you mumble and open the door, entering Rhys’ office. Nesta stayed behind a moment, looking at her hand, flexing it. Shaking herself from her thoughts she follows you in.

Rhys was sending you on another scouting mission. Helion had some concerns about creatures in the mountains that border the courts so Rhys offered to send you two. After an hour of preparing and a few hours of walking, you and Nesta arrived at the border mountains.

“We stick together this time,” she said in a monotone voice. You nod in agreement. After hours of searching the area, the sun was setting, and you and Nesta hadn’t found a trace of the creatures Helion worried about.

“I think we should call it,” you start, “there's nothing out here.” Nesta put her hands on her hips, sweeping her eyes over the woods one last time. “I agree.”

“It'll be too dark to walk back to Velaris soon. Could we stay at that inn we saw a mile back?” your question comes out shy. Nesta walks past you stating, “Where else would we stay.”

Entering the tavern on the bottom floor of the inn you move closer to Nesta. Her head snaps toward you. Seeing your nervous eyes dart around the room she moves into you and grasps your hand tighter.

You make your way over to the innkeeper and Nesta asks for a room for the two of you. “I got one room left and it’s only one bed. That gunna be a problem?” His voice is gruff and rude, like he’s mad you two have the audacity to ask for a room.

“Yeah, we’ll take it.” Nesta bites back, letting some of her power loose. The innkeeper gives Nesta a weary look stepping back a little. “I’ll be back with the key.” He hobbles off to the desk set against a far corner of the dingy room. Nesta leans down to your ear, “You ok?”

“Yeah, just a little nervous.” she glares at the innkeeper until he's standing in front of the two of you again. Reaching across the bar he hands Nesta the key. “Up the third flight of stairs to the left.” You nod at him as Nesta pulls you away.

She unlocks the door, walking in you drop your pack on the floor by the foot of the bed. The room was small and dusty. There was an old worn chair in front of a dark fireplace, a bed big enough for two with just thin sheets, and a small sink with a mirror above it on the wall next to the door.

It was dark out now and you were tired. And you didn't know what the sleeping arrangement was going to be.

“I can take the floor, Nesta.” She gives you an incredulous look. “No your not y/n. We'll both take the bed. It's big enough.” You don't fight her on it when her tone is so commanding.

When you're under the covers, backs facing one another, you find sleep evading you. You weren't nervous about the tavern earlier, you were nervous to be alone with Nesta. You were trying to pluck up the courage to ask her why she had been avoiding you for weeks, but the words kept getting caught in your throat.

You keep fidgeting trying to get warm under the thin, scratchy covers until Nesta sighs. “Can you stop moving?” “Sorry.” It's now or never. If you don't ask her now you're back to drifting around the house with weird tension between you.

You flip over so you're facing her back. “Nesta, why have you been avoiding me?” She goes still. “I'm not avoiding you.”

“You've been avoiding me since our last scouting mission two months ago. I want to know why.” She turns to you, your lips set in a frown. “Why? Did I really make you that angry, that you had to stop acknowledging me?”

“Why do you care? You hate me just as much as Rhysand does.” you shake your head against your pillow. “I never hated you, Nesta. When we first met I'd hoped we'd be friends. But you just pushed me away and made your snide comments. So I went along with it.”

Nesta's wide-eyed gaze met yours. You could see the guilt in her eyes for pushing you all these years. “Please tell me.” She sucks her bottom lip between her teeth. Nesta looked down nervously. “I was afraid you wouldn't like who I am and for the same reasons Rhysand hated me. It was easier to push you all away in the beginning.

“But then...then I started developing feelings for you. I didn't think it would be anything real. But then they grew stronger and I didn't know what to do. I'd never felt this way for anyone before. It was just easier to keep pushing you until you left like everyone else.”

Tears start to line your eyes. You had no idea she was feeling all of that. It must’ve been killing her to carry that around. Nesta let out a shaky breath and continued, “When I saw that thing coming for you by the cave I lost it. I just had to protect you. It scared me. And then I knew what I felt for you was love after that. And that scared me even more.

“I’m sorry y/n. That I pushed you and was distant. But I don’t want to anymore. And if I just confessed all of this and you don’t feel the same way I’m sorry but -“ You cut her off by laying a finger against her lips.

You shimmy closer to her so you’re sharing a pillow. Leaning your forehead against hers you say, “I’m in love with you too.” Tears fall from both of your eyes as you embrace each other. Nesta pulls you onto her chest, hugging you tight.

“So we’re ok?” You smile, “Yeah Nes. We’re ok.”

Okay but like four is too few of a number to shout out but I'll still try my best! @choicesfandomappreciation

@cassie-thorne: Max's art is literally the best and I love her work so much! She puts out bangers after bangers and I absolutely loved watching her style evolve and grow this year and I'm looking forward to seeing it next year too! I especially absolutely love how Max tackles lighting and backgrounds in her work, like it's so unique and each piece tells its own story too. @fairymatchmaker : Joy's art is actually a masterpiece, like this is not just your everyday artist sorcery-shenaniganing, this is like the chad version. Some of my favourites from them: just follow my lead, this adorable pick-up line, literally everything they'd created for the expression-memes this year, long time no see partner and okay, technically this is cheating but this is a piece from 2022, but this portrait of artura is just i'mma cry okay?

@oh-so-youre-a-nerd: Thia's work is nothing short of frightening (affectionate) witchcraft and I mean this in the most sincere way possible lmaoo. I still have a lot of their stuff to explore, stalk and fan over, but their Raine artwork is just S-tier for me, like look at THESE THINGS: The villain arc, head empty still thinking about this, Trystan in a flowy lil dress and ofc their entire Raine x Aerin stuff because that's either the most depressing, poetic thing ever or a massive serotonin boost. I hope to see more of your stuff on my dash next year <33

@erixafleur: I came across Erica's work after lurking in the Blades side of the fandom and I loved their MC Raya's redesign so much! Plus I loved the art style too because it gives me Disney animation vibes. I hope to explore your work even more next year! @rosefuckinggenius: Rose's been a consistent force in the Choices fandom and I absolutely live for their work, okay? And I'm not just saying because I received this UNIT of an art piece from them for Trys and Nora - like I'm still in just awe. I'm also such a fan of the fact that their work is just really soft (if I can describe it that way) to look at - like I'm a sucker for soft colour palettes, okay? It Started With a Whisper

Summary: You and Stephen have been sneaking around for a while. At the same time though, you had never made anything official. There were no boundaries or rules, meaning you couldn't get jealous if another female held his attention. That thought didn't stop you from feeling jealous though. When you spotted him being extra friendly while catching up with his ex Christine, you decided to give him a taste of his own medicine. This all led up to one of the most eventful Stark parties in history. Tony claims "it even tops the whole Ultron situation".

It was a normal Thursday afternoon, you were on your way to the best coffee shop in New York to pick up an order for the team as your brother, Tony, had asked you.

You had your airpods in, listening to "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac. As you approached the coffee shop you took one ear bud out and pulled the door open, but something (or someone) caused your whole body to freeze up.

It was Stephen. The same mystical wizard that you have been fooling around with for almost a month. Sitting there all pretty with the biggest smile on his face while he caught up with his ex, Christine.

Now, you couldn't cause a scene because, he wasn't yours. And although you were very aware of this, it still hurt you.

Seeing the fact that neither of them had noticed you, you proceeded to turn on your heel and exit the café as quickly as possible. Popping your other earbud back in and blasting whatever music that played first.

You were angry, hurt, confused, and just completely overwhelmed. Stephen was never yours. You can't get mad at him over this. You thought, as you quickly walked to your car. It didn't matter if he wasn't yours because if that was the case, then isn't he just using you? No, no, no. This is all your own fault for hiding your true feelings in the first place.

Once you made it to the compound with no coffees, you realized you were going to have to think of an explanation. You couldn't tell anyone about what had just happened because, they don't know about you and Stephen anyways. No one does.

You elected to lie and say the coffee shop was closed if somebody were to ask, but if nobody was to be seen, you were bee-lining it to your bedroom.

To your surprise, you managed to dodge everyone and successfully make it to your bedroom unnoticed (at least you thought so).

As soon as you attempted to lay down and let all your cooped up emotions out, a knock sounded from your bedroom door. You got up and opened it revealing an unamused Tony.

"Hey kid, you okay? Where are the coffees?" Tony asked, slightly concerned at the fact that you didn't stop by the lab to see what him and Banner were up to.

"Yeah, fine. The shop was closed, so I figured we could just make some here instead." You explained nonchalantly.

"Oh? Okay... I'll see you around then, I'll be in the lab. Let me know if you wanna order take out for dinner. We can get your fav." He said before turning around.

You let out a sigh and closed your door, turning the lock and returning to your bed of sorrow and self loathing.

The more you thought about the situation, tears began to well up in your eyes. Once you noticed this, you tried to shake them away but it was a hopeless attempt. You laid there and sobbed for a good 4 hours, then you drifted asleep due to how tired your eyes felt.

You woke up at exactly 5:45 in the morning, completely confused. You hadn't set an alarm or anything, but you did fall asleep super early. Taking that into consideration, you got up and started your day knowing damn well you weren't going to fall back asleep.

You threw some spandex shorts on and almost put one of Stephens' graphic T's on until you were forced to remember the events of yesterday. Bitterly, you shoved the T-shirt back into your draw and put a cropped T-shirt on instead. You put your sneakers on and headed to the gym.

You started with some stretching and light cardio to warm up. You did a few deadlifts and shoulder presses and then quickly moved to the heavy bag. You began letting all your anger out on the punching bag throwing jabs, left hooks, and upper cuts like your life depended on it.

You thought about Stephens' stupid pretty little smile and threw a right hook so hard that you knocked the bag off the chains.

"Jesus doll, what's got you all worked up so early this mornin'?" Steve said while approaching you.

"Bad dream," You replied dryly as you turned to face him.

"You sure? Do I need to break someone's legs?" Steve teased.

"No Steve everything's all right, thank you for checking up on me though," You offered him a quick smile and made your way to the kitchen to start breakfast since it was already 7 am.

It was a regular thing for you to make breakfast for the team every morning. You were always the first person up because you never really slept well. This morning you decided to make french toast and some hash browns, with a little bit of fruit on the side.

By the time you had finished it was around 7:45. Buck, Steve, and Sam had already joined you for breakfast. Eventually the rest of the team got up and made their way to the kitchen as well. You all ate and bantered before heading off to start some training.

As you prepared yourself for some hand-to-hand combat training with Nat, she reminded you that your brother was hosting a party tonight. The reminder made you feel a little better, at least you have something to look forward to now.

"Everyones gonna be there, Tony said it's gonna be the biggest party he's ever had the privilege to host," Nat rambled on.

"Maybe I'll find someone to entertain me for the night," You joked.

You knew very well that you couldn't replace Stephen with anybody, but who says you can't try to have at least a little fun. Just fun that wouldn't involve getting laid.

Once you finished training with Nat, you went straight to your room to shower and find the perfect outfit for tonight. Something suggestive, something scandalous but classy. You were already picturing it in your head.

Once you got out of the shower, you dried and curled your hair, then you put some natural make up on with the prettiest pair of lashes. As you admired your work in the mirror, you heard your phone go off.

A text. From Stephen. Great.

-Which suit should I wear tonight? Thinkin of going with the classic Armani.

You thought about responding, then decided to ignore the text. He doesn't deserve your time nor does he deserve your opinion. Okay maybe i'm being a bit too harsh, this is partly my fault as well as his. You thought.

"Oh well," You said to yourself as you began pulling your dress from the closet. It was perfect, red, short, tight, and it had mesh sleeves. You paired the dress with a pair of black stilettos.

As you were giving yourself a once over in the mirror, you heard your phone go off again.

-Or not? Are you gonna be there?

Stephen. Again. Take the hint man I really do not wanna speak to you right now, You thought before turning your phone off and heading towards the living room to see if anybody needed help setting anything up.

"Might I say, you look absolutely stunning m'lady," You turned around to see Loki in the kitchen grabbing some drinks.

He looked damn good himself in his all black suit and tie. How did you even walk past him in the first place?

"You don't look too bad yourself mischief man," You teased.

Stephen had always hated Loki, and on top of that, he also despised how close you were with him... OH MY GOD. It was as if a lightbulb had went off in your head. Loki is the perfect candidate to be friendly with tonight, god were you excited for this.

"Y/n? Helloooooo, my little midgardian, what are you in space or something?" Loki groaned in attempt to get your attention.

"Huh? Sorry. Zoned out," You said.

"What's on your mind love?" Loki almost looked concerned.

"Oh nothing, just super excited for later! I'd love to spend some more time with you tonight, Loki. For now I'm gonna go see if Ton' needs any help," You said innocently.

"Alright, i'll find you in a few." He smiled bashfully.

As you continued on towards the living room, it had seemed as if the party had already started. Shit, it's 7:30. People are definitely already here. You prepared yourself for a lot of small talk and, seeing Stephen, before walking through the double doors.

"Y/n!!!!!" Tony shouted from across the room, "You look great," he said making his way to you before tugging you to the side of the room.

"Thank you? What's up Ton'?" You asked.

"WHEN WERE YOU GONNA TELL ME YOU WERE MESSING AROUND WITH THE WIZARD," Tony whisper shouted.

Your brain literally short circuited at the question. Nobody knows except you and Stephen, How coul- Oh my fucking god. Your train of thought was cut off by the sight of Stephen eyeing you from across the room with the biggest shit-eating grin on his face.

"We're not. I don't know why he would say such a thing when he was quite literally just on a coffee date with his ex," You spat out.

"What? Kid I'm sorry, wait is that why you didn't get coffee yesterday? Do you want me to kick him out? I will," Tony rambled but you were quick to cut him off.

"No Tony, It's not a big deal. I'm just gonna show him what he's missing," You said with a grin on your face before turning on your heel to find Loki.

"Wha- How are you gonna- Oh whatever." Tony gave up on his interrogation and made sure to give Stephen a look of disgust before greeting the newly arrived guests.

As you were walking to the kitchen to find Loki, you didn't notice Stephen trailing behind you. Sneaky little bastard.

Once you reached the kitchen, it appeared to be empty but right as you were about to turn around you felt two hands gently grasp your waist.

"Hey, I was just on my way to find you! What are you doing?" Loki asked.

"Was just looking for you," you said softly while turning to face him, gently placing your hands on his chest.

"Welll you found me, c'mon now let's go have some fun," Loki cheered before leading the both of you down the hall.

Stephen quickly ducked behind a shelve to avoid blowing his cover. He didn't find your interaction with Loki surprising but, he definitely didn't like it. I mean what were you doing? Why did Loki put his hands so low on your waist? He kind of assumed you guys would have been going together... And why had you ignored his texts? AND why had Tony given him the death stare after talking with you?

Stephen needed to talk to you immediately. He didn't like being confused for one, and for two, he genuinely thinks he's falling for you. He's not going to let anybody get in his way.

All the guest had made it to the party by now, it was insanely crowded. Luckily you've stuck by Loki's side and he's stuck by yours since you walked back in. He knows these things can be kind of overwhelming for you sometimes.

You lost Stephen in the crowd and, to be honest, you weren't really mad about it. You've been having a great time with Loki.

"Let's go dance!" You yelled over the music.

Loki happily obliged and grabbed your hand, leading you to the dance floor. It was nice because it was a little less crowded in this area anyways. Everybody was too busy drinking and catching up with each other to be dancing.

Before you could even start dancing Loki handed you something that looked like alcohol, Asgardian alcohol? WORDDDDD. You thought without questioning him.

"Be careful with that, just take a small sip it's very strong." Loki instructed.

You took a reasonable sip and went to take a second before he snatched it from your hands.

"I said one Y/n," Loki tried to remain serious with you until you started giggling, causing him to break out into laughter as well.

The song "Poison" by Bel Biv Devoe, began playing and more people joined you and Loki on the dance floor. You turned around so your back was against Loki's chest, his hands fell low to your hips, and you two continued dancing like that without a care in the world for a few more songs.

Stephen was fuming, man he could not wait to tear into you. Why would you do this to him? He thought you guys had something going on. He continued to watch the two of you until he saw you move your hips against Loki.

Stephen slammed his martini down and began making his way to you. He watched your smile drop as you noticed he was marching up to you.

"That's enough," Stephen said as he reached for your wrist.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Loki asked defensively.

"It's absolutely none of your concern. Asshole," Stephen hissed.

"What do you want Stephen?" You slurred your words slightly.

"I need to talk to you," He said annoyed.

"Well, why can't you just say it here?" Loki interrupted.

"I said, it was none of your fucking business." Stephen seethed out.

At this point all three of you had half the parties attention and things were only getting louder.

"Speak to me like that again and see where it gets you Strange," Loki moved to stand in front of you.

"Yeah ok bud," Stephen replied, right before dropping him through a portal to who knows where.

"STEPHEN?? WHAT THE FUCK." You yelled.

Tony immediately came running over, along with Thor, Cap, Buck, and Sam.

"What the fuck are you doing Strange?" Tony spat out.

"I'm trying to have a civil conversation with your sister," Stephen said dryly.

"Where is Loki?" Thor asked stepping up to Stephen.

"Are you alright Y/n?" Sam asked you

"What are you up to Doctor?" Cap questioned Stephen.

"I'll kill him Y/n just say the word," Buck exclaimed.

"Can you guys just calm the fuck down? He's fine, He's in the mirror dimension because he was getting in my way. Now, I can send all of you there as well if you'd like," Stephen deadpanned.

"Maybe you should use that big brain of yours and think about why she doesn't want to speak to your sorry ass," Tony said while getting in Stephens face.

"Both of you cut the shit. Stephen, come with me." You ordered him.

Stephen immediately stopped what he was doing and followed you to the corner of the room.

"Okay please do enlighten me on what the fuck just happened," Stephen asked impatiently.

"What? Me dancing with Loki? Or the fact that you sent him to the mirror dimension? Or the fact that you caused a fucking scene?" You seethed. "You're not mine. In fact, you made that quite obvious yesterday while you were enjoying coffee with your fucking ex. I do not belong to you, I owe you not a single ounce of loyalty." You finished.

Stephen looked mortified. How did you know about that for one, and for two, It was nothing more than two friends catching up. Stephen has accepted he can't have Christine and he doesn't even want her anymore. He wants you. But it seems he might have fucked up pretty badly.

"Y/n please, listen to what I have to say," Stephen practically begged you.

"You've got five minutes Strange," You said dryly.

"I-I know what it looks like, okay? And I don't blame you for assuming it was something more, but... it wasn't. You don't have to believe me on this but I asked her to meet me there so we could talk about you.." He trailed off, refusing to make eye contact.

"What?" You questioned eagerly.

"I uh, I needed advice, because I was um thinking about making things official between us.." Stephen explained solemnly.

You didn't know what to say. You felt like the biggest idiot, AND, the biggest asshole. EVER. Your brain felt like it stopped working, the party conversation faded away and all you could hear was the music.

"Everybody Talks", Neon Trees.

It started with a whisper,

"I'm sorry," You whispered softly.

Tears began to swell up and threatened to spill over. Stephen looked up at you and his heart shattered at seeing you this worked up.

"It might be a crazy request but, would you still be interested in being mine?" You said even quieter this time. Stephen still caught it though.

And that was when I kissed her.

Stephen cupped your cheeks and leaned in to capture your lips in the most reassuring kiss. You moved up on your tiptoes while wrapping your arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. Stephens hand fell dangerously close to your ass, but you pulled away.

"Tony with bury you alive if you get too touchy, help me out and try to stay out of conflict for the rest of the night." You reasoned.

"I was thinking about ditching this place anyways, only if your willing to join me of course." He flirted.

"Sounds tempting," You teased back.

"Just say yes," Stephen said sarcastically.

"Sir, yes sir," You stated while stepping back and saluting him as if he was a drill sergeant.

"Oh cut it out you smartass," Stephen said before opening a portal and throwing you over his shoulder.

Lets just say, you had a very... long night.

Stephen had tugged you close to him, his arms around your waist, drawing absent minded shapes on your back.

"Stephen, I dunno why but... I feel like we forgot something. Like something important. I can't figure out what it is though, and it's driving me crazy.." You mumbled into his chest.

"Hmm.." Stephen took a moment to think.

Suddenly you both shot up right and gasped.

"LOKI," You both shouted at each other.

OKAYYYYY so I wrote this a WHILE ago and I felt like it was a mess so I never posted it. BUTTT I tried to make a few revisions without changing the whole story line so I hope you enjoy! Please if you have ideas don’t be afraid to request them, or leave some constructive criticism for me! Id really appreciate feedback so I can improve my weaknesses as a writer.
