#so it might tranfer over
Text
Auctioned off || Open Starter
Mia had been in the same facilty for a good decade it felt like now. So when she was informed that she'd be relocating, it had really thrown her off. She feared the worse, because she knew what the people here thought of her and her kind. For all she knew, relocating could mean an end to her life to them. Or it could have meant a tranfer to a newer facility that maybe had even worse equipment that could be used to test on her. She wasn't sure which of the two sounded worse.
Regardless, the mutant found that cooperating was always the best course of action. She had fought a bit at the beginning of her stay here and the consequences were far worse than some of the testing they'd done to her. Which probably spoke volumes in itself to anyone who'd witnessed that testing. It was late in the evening when two of the guards approached her holding cell. She had been fitted with a collar that counteracted any of her mutant genes. One she'd had on for a while now that they could remotely activate or deactivate when it suited then. Right now the green light was on indicating it was absolutely keeping her abilities at bay. Not surprising to her. They never came into her room when it was deactivated.
She stayed toward the back of the room watching as they pulled out the rope and blindfold. Mia's blue eyes widening with fear. "Blindfold.." she questioned instantly earning herself a glare from those handling the items. "#6570 step forward, slowly, strip out of your robes, and get on your knees, with your hands in front of you" one of the men spoke. They never called her by name, it was too personable. She did as she was told, despite not understanding. Her wrists were tied tightly in front of her, before the blindfold was slipped over her eyes. Before she could attempt to express any concerns or question where she was going, she felt the metal press agaisnt her lips. A gag…she resisted that just a bit before it was tugged in roughly and locked into place.
Where she was led next she wasn't sure, not until she could feed the cool breeze indicating for the first time in years she might be outside? Then the sound of metal door opening and she was pushed inside of what she could only assume was a vehicle. It sounded like someone was on the phone, indicating that she was to be delivered soon.

Can I request for genshin impact sagau. Basically the god reader is tired of being treated like some divine being when all you want is to go back to your formal world and live a normal life. Soo the god reader planned their own death while saving their soul and tranfering to another body. In their new body they live in the countryside of teyvat as a tea shop owner or smth. While their followers are filled with grief and investigate their death, they found their notebook about their whole plan and now their new goal is to find you somewhere in teyvat. And they found you bcs of the familiar presence
You were adjusting to live in the countryside. You've made a couple of friends and business have been doing well. Teyvat is not over you death, they will never be. You mused whole cleaning your kitchen suddenly you heard someone entered your shop and replied "hi welcome just a minute!" You quickly went to the main room to help another customer. You said "hi how may i-" but you froze when you realize who that customer is...it was venti. "Finally found you,Your grace" Venti said. And at that moment your new life just shattered to pieces
think about how the acolytes take it!
“the reason why they left is because we didnt spoil them enough!”
not only that it’ll be thousands of times harder to escape now! although you might be the great divine, it’s quite hard keeping a secret from the seven archons!
for your life now shattered, they’ll probably let you keep it but like monitored A LOT
but.. at this point everyone knows who you are and comes just for you.
so at this point it’s most likely better to drop it.
so pick your poison.
risk escaping again but if you get caught there will be absolutely no way out
or
deal with clingy obsessive borderline-yanderes?
it’s your choice to make, although, i think choosing option c would be a better idea
(the joke is there is no option c….)

Sorry lovely still working on getting this blog up and running/tranferring everything over (you've probably seen my old main liking your posts and such 😅) but I couldn't not say something seeing someone being rude. I struggle with the same feelings of being broken and I just want you to know you're not alone.
I'm always here if you need someone to talk to, my dms are always open, ditto for if you want to brainstorm ideas. You're amazing and your fics have been bringing me joy for years; please just keep being you. I think you're pretty great! ❤️ -Sheridan
Omg I just followed you, I can’t wait to see what all you do with your blog! Everyone, go say hi & give em a follow!
Thank you so much for your support & kindness, it’s very reassuring, which is much needed because shit like this just makes my anxiety & guilt/self loathing spike, so it’s just really comforting to know I’m not the only one with these feelings & we all have each other’s backs
Seriously, it means the world to me to have y’all in my corner, & I just might have to hit you up on that offer 👀

Hypnos & Cayden - Tranferred Thread Archive
His hunger was all-consuming, Hypnos’ need to finally eat something after being starved for so long, keeping his thoughts distracted from anything else for the time being. He knew he was hurt, at least, but his wounds could wait until the torturous gnawing sensation in his stomach had been quietened some.
He was too distracted by it to even notice how much things had changed in his home, or to check to see if anyone else was there as he stole through the house to the kitchen, hands shaking as he went through the stores of food, scarcely able to open the packaging properly before he was trying to eat it, desperation taking over his actions as he ate.
Cayden had thought he was home alone for the night. He had told Blake and Lilah to have their own little date night because he was exhausted and still trying to get back in the habit of staying awake like a normal person without needing to sleep for a week or so. Plus, he liked making sure they got some time to just the two of them, too.
So the sounds coming from downstairs startled him awake and almost had him reaching for a baseball bat before he figured it was probably just his psychotic little brother or something. Creeping downstairs, he stopped dead when he glanced into the kitchen and saw just who was actually there.
“D-daddy?”
With how thin, dirty and dishevelled he was, Hypnos looked practically wraith-like in appearance, his hair matted and his eyes hollow.
“Cayden…”
His son’s name was barely a cracked whisper after spending so long having not spoken to a single soul during his imprisonment. He almost dropped the food he’d piled up in his arms when he saw him, only barely managing to function enough to put it all down on the counter instead before turning back to the younger male, trying to find a relieved smile among the sudden torrent of emotions that flooded into him.
It took him a moment to remember how to move, but when he did, he lurched forward and all but tackled his dad. It had been hard enough when his sibling had left, but he had honestly thought his dad had abandoned him too, and that had nearly broken him.
The hug was tight, probably too tight, as he broke down sobbing. It didn’t matter to him that Hypnos looked like a walking horror movie extra, all that mattered was he had come back. That he was home. The momentum of his son almost knocked him off his feet, and tight enough that it stole the breath from him for a moment, but it was returned with as much strength as he could muster, even as the injuries he bore reminded him of their existence with the sudden physical contact.
“H-how long have I been gone?” he asked, tears already making the words difficult to get out.
Hypnos was afraid to know the answer. More so when he thought about how everyone else might have reacted to his absence.
It was a long moment before Cayden could slow his sobs enough to even try to make words came out. He had just been so devastated that it had been a struggle to not push away everyone else that he loved too.
“O-over twenty years,” he finally choked out before completely burying his face against his dad’s shoulder.
Hypnos froze, the answer hitting him like a slap in the face.
“Twenty years? I’ve been in that place for…”
He was shellshocked. The worst he’d imagined in his confinement had been far fewer. Perhaps no more than five or six at most, but not twenty. The realization made him suddenly lightheaded, and he had to force his focus back to his son to maintain enough equilibrium to not collapse.
“Cayden, I’m so sorry. I-I…”
He whimpered a little, trying to calm himself down but not being able to. The entire thing was a fresh wave of emotion and heartache.
“You vanished a-around the same time as Ma- my brother and sister and I thought you left me too,” he wept, hating just how weak and vulnerable he sounded about the entire thing. But he had spent the years thinking it was his fault that they all left him.
“Papa and Hecate and Aunt Ava tried finding you…”
“No. No, I didn’t leave you.” Hypnos answered quickly, panicked and heartbroken at finding out Cayden thought he’d been abandoned.
“A coven of witches caught me. They were trying to summon and capture your uncle Thana, but they caught me instead.” he explained, clinging to the boy as though he was afraid either of them might disintegrate at any moment.
“They kept me prisoner all this time. The magic they used, I don’t know where they got it, but it is old, forgotten magic, and it weakened me, stopping me from escaping and from anyone finding me.”
The words and explanation helped, but he was still feeling so terribly lost and raw. There was so much he had to be caught up on and Cayden had no idea where to even try starting.
“How…how did you get out?”
“I don’t know, exactly.” he admitted, closing his eyes to try to lessen the tears and finding it to be no help at all.
“After I’d been trapped a while and had become weak, I fell asleep, and when I woke again, the place had been burned down, and I only escaped after the building caved in on the cage and broken it open. I don’t know how long before I woke it happened, but I came straight back here once I got out.”
“S-so no one else know y-you’re home?”
He knew he was going to need to call his papa at the very least. Or aunt Ava, both of them surprisingly good at getting anyone and everyone else to answer their phones no matter how busy they were.
Hypnos shook his head, although, in truth, he had no idea if anyone had picked up his presence at all after he’d finally escaped and could be traced again.
He had no idea even how the building had burned to the ground in the first place, or what had happened to those who had held him against his will, but those thoughts were furthest from his mind right now, simply just trying to hold himself together enough to begin to recover from his ordeal.
Cayden pulled back slowly and tried to wipe his face dry, but it didn’t help that he was still crying. His nose was all stuffed up from it, making it hard to breathe, but he was trying to pull himself back together and be logical.
“We gotta…gotta call papa or Cate. They need to know.”
As much as he feared how Moros would react to seeing him again after so long, Cayden was right, and Hypnos was just as desperate to see his loved ones as his son had been to see him.
“I know.” he murmured, fighting a spell of lightheadedness that had him rocking a little on his heels and almost reaching out for something to steady himself against.
When he finally got himself even remotely under control, Cayden really looked at him and it broke his heart even more. The fact that anyone could treat his dad like this… It made him understand why his aunt and uncle were so protective of him.
“You need to sit,” he mumbled, reaching out for him to help steady him better.
Hypnos nodded in agreement, reluctant to let go of his son, but glad to not have to stand any longer with how little strength he had in his current physical state.
“I’m so sorry I put all of you through this.” he mumbled tearfully, too exhausted to try to hold back his emotions, his relief at finally being free and home coming up against his struggle to comprehend that he’d been missing for over two decades. “I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”
As soon as his dad was settled, Cay curled up against his legs, cheek resting against his knee. He was almost afraid it was all just a dream and that his dad would vanish again if he let go of him for even a moment.
The apologies had him curled tighter around his legs, a small whimper escaping him. Everything was still sort of messy for him, getting back into things difficult at best, but he was trying. “Don’t go away again, okay? Please? Just stay?”
“I’m not going anywhere.” Hypnos murmured, stroking his sons messy hair. “I promise. I don’t know what happened to the coven that kept me locked up, but I don’t think they can do it again. The place they kept me, it was completely destroyed.”
He stilled under his dad’s touch, but he didn’t loosen his grip. It was almost as if he were a child again and dealing with his first nightmares, but he didn’t really care. “Good. Fuck them. I hope they’re dead,” he growled, voice still thick from crying.
Hypnos let out a shuddered sigh, nodding and closing his eyes. He wasn’t normally one for wishing death on anyone, but this was a justifiable exception that he doubted anyone could argue against.
He didn’t say much else for a while, content to focus his remaining energy on comforting his son. Cayden was half in his lap, needing the closeness more than he realized. A small part of him kept saying it was just a dream and he was too terrified that it was. He probably wouldn’t believe it until his other father told him it wasn’t a dream.
“You need to eat,” he finally mumbled, still not letting go.
A weak smile barely made its way onto his lips to acknowledge Cay’s words. He’d gone without food for so long that he was both ravenously hungry, and far too thin to eat very much without making himself sick. It would take time and rest for him to recover and be much more like his old self, but at least now he was home and had his family there with him, and that was all he cared about.
He shifted around a little, just enough to reach the counter without letting go of Hypnos, and began blindly grabbing at food. “Eat.” His tone was soft, more begging than demanding, but he still didn’t leave a whole lot of room to argue in his worry.
Hypnos complied as best he could, unable to help the sounds he made as he remembered the taste of things he’d long since forgotten, devouring each of the things his son gave him like he was eating for the first time in his life, and it didn’t take long to reach the limits his terribly shrunken stomach could bear for the moment, and he had to refuse anything further before he ended up vomiting. Cay stay curled around his lap, clingy like he did when he was small. He knew he looked ridiculous and bordering on pathetic, but he couldn’t help it. He hadn’t thought he would ever see his dad again and he wasn’t ready to let go. “Don’t leave again?”
“I won’t. I promise.” Hypnos smiled, his mouth still half full as he stroked his sons hair reassuringly, smoothing out a few unruly curls that had broken loose from the main mass.
“Nothing and nobody will ever take me away from you again, okay? I swear.”
The promise helped and, had he been a little more calm, the way Hypnos was smoothing out his hair would have put him right back to sleep.
“Everyone got broken…” he mumbled, knowing his dad ought to be filled in on everything that happened. “Because I was gone?” he asked, sounding suddenly worried.
The thought concerned him, but of course, he had no idea that he wasn’t the only one of the family they’d lost during that time. It had just been a terribly unfortunate coincidental event.
Cayden shook his head, hair flopping over his eyes as he did.
“Not just you. Matty left, Tass and Evander left Lyri, even Lyric left and Mac tried to drink himself to death. Thrasos lost basically everything to a fire and the only thing that made aunt Ava even remotely okay was she had Jack to take care of…”
“W-what?”
The word pinched as it caught in his dry throat, his mind taking a moment to process what his son had just told him.
“Matty left? And…. Oh gods, my dear sweet boy. I’m so sorry. I had no idea. I…” he trailed off, tears welling in his eyes. It broke his heart to hear the extent of the devastation, and it suddenly made such terrible sense that they’d thought he’d just happened to have left too.
“I’ve missed so much. How could I have missed so much?”
His grip on his father’s legs tightened a little, the pain he was still feeling clearly pushing to surface. He didn’t want to lose anything else.
“No one knew where you were. Ava couldn’t track your chip, nothing Hecate tried worked… And papa’s knowing everything doesn’t work when it’s something that affects him.”
His words were muffled from how his face was pressed against Hypnos, but he wasn’t about to shift backwards or lift his head for anything at the moment.
Hypnos’s heart was breaking all over again. Part of him was angry at himself for missing so much and worrying the ones who loved him, no matter how much he tried to remind himself that his absence hadn’t been his fault, but he couldn’t help feel robbed of that time when he’d been needed so much.
A few tears cut fresh tracks in the dirt on his cheeks as he cried silently, trying to process everything.
Cay tried to press himself closer to his father, but he was already damn near in his lap like an overgrown toddler. He had tried to heal, to press down his hurt enough to carry on with life, but it was evident that he wasn’t doing quite as well as he was letting people believe.
“Please don’t go away again…”
“I won’t. Never again, I promise.”
Hypnos was fighting his exhaustion hard. If he didn’t have so much he needed to do and a distraught son to comfort, he would have easily slipped into a near-coma-like sleep until he regained enough of his strength to be at least semi-functional again. He couldn’t rest yet though. Not until he’d made things right.
The words helped, his breathing slowly beginning to even back out. He was still trying to convince himself that it was a dream, but there was always a little part of Cayden that had a hard time telling the difference. It wasn’t something he told people though.
“Okay..”
He played comfortingly with Cayden’s curls, his sons hair almost as unruly as his own but not nearly as matted and tangled. It brought the barest of smiles to his chapped lips.
His thoughts turned to all the things he needed to do. He’d eaten enough to tide him over for now, so that was one less thing to worry about. Then, of course, he’d need to let the rest of his family know he’d returned.
“You need rest,” the boy finally mumbled, emotionally exhausted. He could only imagine how much worse his dad felt with literally being sleep. Not that Cay really wanted him to pass out for the next month or two.
“I will rest once I have fixed the things I have broken,” he stated matter-of-factly, although the exhaustion was clear in the laboured breath beneath his words.
“I have too much to do, too many people to set things right with. I promise I will rest after that, but I won’t until then. You need me too much.”
“Just being home is enough,” he countered softly, knowing everything else could wait. Even if that meant he had to make the calls himself.
“They’ll understand when they see you.”
Hypnos had wanted to argue further but his exhaustion wouldn’t let him, and if he was entirely honest with himself, it wasn’t the urgency that bothered him, but the apprehension of how the rest of his family would react after thinking he’d abandoned them all, but he trusted Cay’s word enough to believe that his son was correct in his assumption despite his own feelings.
It took him a moment, but Cayden stood and helped his father up, keeping an arm around him. He just looked so frail that Cay was honestly afraid he’d just fall over without someone to lean on. “We kept your room the same…”
Hypnos smiled weakly at that. He would be glad for some familiarity after what he’d been through. Leaning against his son, Hypnos sagged under his own weight, stumbling a little as he struggled to keep himself upright until he had reached another place he could rest.
Cay kept a hold of him, supporting his, well, lack of weight pretty easily. It would have probably been easier to carry him, but he knew his dad would never regain any muscle that way.
“I’ll call around once you’re settled, okay?”
Hypnos nodded, all but collapsing as soon as he reached his bed, his entire weight barely enough to make an indentation on its surface.
“It’s been such a long time since I slept in a bed,” he confessed hoarsely, already struggling to keep his eyes open as he recalled the comfortless cell he’d been kept in and the hard floor that had been his only option for trying to rest upon.
Cayden immediately set about getting him tucked in like he used to do for him when he was a child. It was the least he could do at the moment, the only thing that was making him feel useful.
“Sleep. I’ll call Cate and dad and aunt Ava,” he promised, knowing the three people he needed to call first.
Hypnos nodded faintly to acknowledge his son’s words just as he started to lose his fight against unconsciousness. Even if he only took a short rest, for now, he’d still need to sleep a while longer later anyway for him to begin to recover from his ordeal, and he hoped his family didn’t hold too much against him.
Cay crept from the room quietly to make the phone calls, feeling a little bad that he had no answers to give. But, he knew his dad needed rest and not to be pushed into talking and he was grateful that they did too. Once he was off the phone, he text Blake and Lilah, letting them know what was going on before turning the thing off and slipping back into his dad’s room to curl up next to the bed. He didn’t want Hypnos to wake up alone.

What do you think about Chelsea’s tranfers?? They sold so many players that didn’t fit the system/weren’t performing for so cheap, they are worth way more than what they sold them for and they are buying players that are overpriced. Also they sold all the “deadwood” but they still have pulisic?💀 Werner gave way more to Chelsea than Pulisic but I feel like he only stayed bc the new owner is american and might have wanted to give him another chance
i for one just want the transfer window over with already, my blood pressure can’t handle it. - Sophia

I Want To Hear You Say It
Chapter 6: Pitiful Reflections In The Mirror
Word Count: 3.2K
A/N: If you’re still reading this, I’m so sorry for the long wait
Prev.
You can feel eyes on you. Never blinking, always watching, you feel something- or more accurately- someone watching you. It could be all in your head. Of course it would be all in your head- he doesn't have the time to watch you. And, from what he told you, his friends, or rather teammates, don’t know about you either. You’re still not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. But, it doesn’t matter. You realize that. No matter what happens now, all of it is out of your control. Freedom will always be a mockery to you, you can go and hang out with friends, work, lay around in your home, but it won’t ever be your home, you can’t ever go and hang out with your friends with the certainty that he isn’t watching, that he isn’t lurking in your home and peeking through your thing, you can’t promise to yourself that he doesn’t have connections to the real world, to the civilian world or hero society. You’ll always be watched, never a moment of peace, always fearful that he could be watching you. You can’t ever be yourself alone, you can’t lie in bed and waste the day away. It makes you sick. You want to vomit, you can feel your stomach churn but you are unable to do anything about it.
The only silver-lining to this is that he cares for you- in his own way and not the way that you dreamt of when you would consume media. He promised he wouldn’t hurt you. Right? You frown. You can’t remember if he did that or not. You can only remember his eyes. Those red colored eyes, unforgiving, murderous eyes that are stained with blood, eyes that hold false innocence when he looks at you. A part of you wonders if you would have actually liked him if he weren’t himself but you quickly scowl at the thought. You don’t want to romanticize him. You don’t want this situation to be painted with pink.
It’s all too much too soon. It’ll always be like this. You want to ask him more. You want to know why. You want to pass him off to someone else and make it their own problem.
Thunder booms outside, a deep rumbling that always comforts you and it still does. You stare at the sliding door that leads to the small balcony. Water drips against it, soothing and constant, a steady pace that does not falter and does not pick up speed. The movie you were watching on your laptop has been paused long ago, the killer’s face frozen on a screen that slowly dims and goes black, your reflection against it. If you try hard enough, you can hear the drips against the formed puddles. There is only silence, the clock in the room tics and tocs, the time moving forward, staring at you, the eyes of the cat-shaped clock moving back and forth. You rise from your seat on the couch and walk towards the sliding door, the blanket wrapped around your body and you think for a moment that things are okay, that what is going to happen, is something for you to worry about in the future. Water races down to the base of the door and you cheer internally for one droplet, smiling when it merges with another and gains speed.
For just a moment you are alone. You think that whatever he has or has not implanted in your home- small cameras, listening devices, anything of that sort- does not exist. Your lips are dry and acid pools in your mouth and burns your throat. The rain is soft, beating against the earth as people scurry home. You see children clad in raincoats and rainboots, splashing against the puddle and enjoying their youth, you see lovers walk hand in hand, you see the lone person with an umbrella held tight in their hand. In the reflection, you see yourself- heavy eyes fresh with unshed tears, worry-bitten lips and a sickly glow around you.
“I,” you start off slow and break the tranquility in your home, “I need to write down a list of questions.” You lose your breath quickly, huffing and puffing by the end of your sentence. “It’s-” you want to find out more about him but you can’t even say the words out loud- “I’m insane.” You stare at your reflection, and it’s becoming harder to breathe. “I can- I can go away. I can reject and scream and cry. I can pound on the walls and call for a hero.” Your voice cracks and tears pool in your eyes. “So why don’t I?” Why don’t you? What’s stopping you? “He isn’t here right now. I can-” your voice falls into a low whisper- “I can do something.” You cry and it feels like a waste. You are unable to find a reason to push away from him even though the reasons are clear. You feel sorry for the man that you saved from the streets, bleeding and unable to fight back. You thought that he was cute and thought about him, you let him stay in your home and you reason to yourself that it’s valid to want to find out more about him, but all the same, he is a villain, he has eyes red like blood and pale skin adorned with scars, he has rough hands that grip you with an unwavering hold and lips that are cracked. He is someone full of pain and cruelty, and yet, he promises nothing but love towards you.
You stagger back to the couch and you have to close your eyes. You can’t stare at your reflection- you can’t bear to see yourself deteriorating away. You can’t look at how utterly alone you are. You curl in on yourself and let tears fall and this is all your fault. You don’t know what’s stopping you from seeking out help. You don’t know why you convinced yourself to not tell a soul. You don’t know why you have to be so alone right now. You have no one to talk about this with. You sob and turn your head so your tears catch on the cushion of the couch, the blanket pulled tighter around your body and you are alone in this. You are alone for the cold and rainy night.
Your door creaks open and you don’t know whether to sit in your pitiful state, to hope that the intruder feels uncomfortable enough at the site of your brokenness to leave or if they would put you out of your misery. The door shuts and you close your eyes and bite the insides of your cheeks until it’s painful, the soft flesh tearing when you tighten your jaw. You whimper and hug yourself closer and you can hardly breathe and you don’t know what you hope for, what is a better option- for him to show up and try to comfort you or an intruder to commit a heinous crime. You’ve cried about being alone and now that someone has stepped into your home, you fear the attention and comfort of another.
The couch creaks and hands touch your face, cloth and skin that mix and catch your tears and you’re staring at him, red eyes that stare at you and his mouth moves but you are unable to hear. Confusion must linger on your face and he’s rubbing his thumb over your cheeks, catching tears. His ring and pinky fingers are clad in black, his nails painted black as they drag against your cheekbone. The fabric is soft, tracing against your jawline as it catches fallen tears.
“Did someone hurt you?” You shake your head “no”. “Was work difficult?” Another negative answer. He sighs and his head dips down. Your crying has gone from sobbing to snivelling. “Are you overwhelmed? With this-” he clears his throat- “our relationship.” He’s so careful with his words and you can only nod your head. He’s silent and you’re terrified. You don’t know who he is. You rescued an injured man, thinking you were doing a good thing, that you were putting something good out in the world but you couldn’t have thought that this would happen. That he would be a villain.
He’s quick to wrap his arms around you and you’re stiff for just a moment with wide, fearful eyes as you squeal in shock. He’s warm and smells like rain, droplets of rain lingering against him and your need for comfort takes over as you immediately fist your hands into his hoodie, pushing yourself closer to him. You lay your head on his shoulder, facing his neck that is lined with faint scars and red lines. You breathe in heavily, the scent of rain and musk filling your lungs. His hold on you is tight as you lay against him gasping and whining when he shuffles under you, pulling you closer to him, legs bumping into each other, and he’s nothing short of polite, hands still as they rest on your back, never sliding below your shoulder blades.
Maybe there’s something wrong with you. There has to be. Because just as he finally settles, you lean towards him. You tell yourself that it’s only because you’re human and you’re in a vulnerable state and you crave the contact that he gives you, you crave the only comfort you’ve received in a long time and you cry softly tears burning as they trace down the curve of your face.
You open your mouth to speak, but he’s quicker than you are. “You always cry because of me.” You can’t deny that. “Have you ever cried like this before?” His words are tight, holding back anything spiteful that he can say and you can feel the press of his hands push deeper into you. You’re unsure if he’s trying to steady himself or try to warn you of your next answer.
Your eyes open, only meeting black and the soft, pale blue of his hair and you nod your head. “Yeah, probably.” The blanket is heavy above you. “Maybe not for the same reason but I have.” Maybe if he weren’t a villain you could have liked him as well. You may not be a romantic, but you can appreciate the tropes when you’re faced with them. “Tomura?” You still call him by his name. His name is nice, you find it to be pretty, and you want to believe that he wouldn’t hurt you, that he would keep his promise.
“Yes?” His arms are tight around you, outside of the blanket and you worry that he is cold.
“Why did you visit?” He walks in, comes into your home acting as if he is welcomed, and you lay above him. A part of you wants to continue crying, to reach a part of his humanity and have him leave you. Another part that you don’t want to recognize, believes that liking him will be much easier. That it will be easier than having this continous stream on mental torture. “This- I could have put a trap or something. Let you be caught by the authorities so I wouldn’t have to deal with you.” You roll your lips, wetting them with your tongue and you hold onto him as if he is your lifeline.
“I missed you.” You hate how your body heats at the words. You were sure that if it were anyone else, you would have flushed and hugged the person back, but instead you lay there with furrowed brows. His chest rises with an inhale and dips with an exhale. “I don’t think I’ve ever loved anybody or felt the way that I feel for you for anyone else.” His heartbeat quickens and you wonder if he’s aware that you can feel it, that you can hear the pulsing, the thump in his chest as it echoes in your ears. “It’s an odd feeling. I mean it when I say that you showing me kindness made me fall for you. It’s a sickness that I don’t understand. I don’t want to kill you, I don’t want to let you go. You’re so pretty and I just want you to stay with me. Do you remember when you brushed my hair?” You nod and he continues. “Do you remember what you said about being a good person?” You whisper a soft “yes”. “That’s why I keep coming by. I know you wouldn't have contacted them. I’ve put so much trust in you that I’m sure you would never break it. I’ll keep watch over you just to make sure you’re safe because I trust you.” Your heart beats against your chest, and heat flames against your body. “I want to tear this hero society down, to have it burn and crumble under me and the ones who follow me. I want nothing more than to rid the world of heroes.” For some odd reason, you don’t find his words chilling. You blame it on the exhaustion. “But I want to protect you. To keep you safe, perched on my lap, protected and pure.”
You stay silent and so does he. He offers no more words, no more words of persuasion, or declaration of love. You think that this would be a nice parting, to have him tell you some spiel about he has to leave you to keep you safe, but, for the first time in a long time, you’ve been offered comfort, you’ve been offered love and it’s warm and addicting and when you think of him leaving, it hurts. It actually hurts. And so, you pull yourself closer against him, fixing the blanket and he stays quiet, his eyes watching you until you fix the blanket and drape it over your body, and over his arms. He’s silent, and when you fix yourself above him, lowering your body until it’s flushed against his, he turns to his side and you go on yours, and you hold onto the faded black sweatshirt that smells like cheap alcohol and cigarettes.
The rain fills the room and you can hear your phone vibrate, it's muffled and low, and while you have curiosity, wondering who it could be so late into the night, you also don’t want to move. He wants to keep you safe. He’s intimidating, stalking towards you, watching and you know that he has killed, you know that his hands reek of death, that the ash of the world is embedded in him, staining his soul and being with everything bad, but he promises to keep that away from you. He holds you and instead of fear, it’s an odd relief that makes you feel weightless, stomach light and shoulders loose, tears finally dried in a room that flashes bright, white light. To anyone who were to peep into this moment, they would see two lovers embracing, chest-to-chest, arms around each other, blanket covering both, and you’re against the cushion while he teeters on the edge, he keeps you safe from the cruel fall to the floor. You can feel his lips tentatively press against the top of your head, and you don’t fight the smile that rises. You don’t try to bite it down, you accept that it’s easier to love him, to befriend that lonely individual who offered you a shoulder, someone who would understand you, someone who has shown to have no grievances as you talk about him.
“I… I think it's easier to hate you than it is to love you,” you whisper, a tightening in your throat as you let the words out. “There are so many reasons to dislike you, you know? You’re cruel, you’re mean, you’re a villain, you’ve killed people.” You lick your lips and you’re unable to find more reasons. You don’t know him, and you fear that when you do, you’ll start to fall for him.
“Anything else you want to add?” He questions, his voice matching yours. You can feel his eyes on you. “I won’t get mad at you. I know you would have been less than willing for this relationship so the least I could do is answer any of your questions or hear you out.”
Tomura Shigaraki holds you, and it’s comforting. He’s tall and lanky, thin arms that are covered with faded black, hold you, and you are kept safe, long after you’ve fallen asleep. He forces himself to stay awake, wanting to relish in the moment for seconds longer. He wants to hear the soft breaths, wants nothing more than to hold you, to let the memory cement in his head that you chose to fall asleep beside him, that you kept him under the same blanket as you sleep in.
All the questions in your mind suddenly blip out of existence and you lie there with closed eyes, sleep clinging onto you in it’s thick grasp. You can only think of one question, one thing to satisfy you for the night where you’ve accepted Tomura’s presence. “What’s going to happen? I mean- what happens to-” you pause, trying to find the correct word, “us” feeling too strange and “relationship” not yet something that you are ready for- “whatever we have if you get caught?” Your heart slows and your stomach drops. “Or what happens if I get caught? I don’t think I could survive prison,” you mutter, “I like bubble tea a bit too much.”
His hold on you tightens by a smidge. “I won’t get caught. I’d rather than have that happen.” A chill runs down our spine at his words. “And if you get caught, you lie between your teeth. You tell them I blackmailed you and if that doesn’t work, I’ll get you out of prison.” His hand finds yours, cloth and calloused fingers against yours as he holds it tight. “I’m not going to let you rot in there. I’ll find a way to break you out of anything. I promise.” His thumb runs over yours as if to solidify the promise. You nod your head, a yawn tearing through your body, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes. “Are you tired?” You nod, shifting yourself against him, your leg sliding in between his. “Get some rest. I’ll protect you.” His lips are against the crown of your head. “It’s been a long night for you, I’ll stay here and keep you warm.”
-
You awake without Tomura, blanket pulled up to your shoulders. You awake alone. Your phone buzzes, muffled and heavy sounding, with a heavy body, your arms and legs kick from underneath the blanket, and by the time you’ve made your way out, the buzzing stops.
Surprisingly, you are fine. You are groggy, but you are fine. You are warm, body still heavy with sleep, mind finally starting to awaken and you are okay. That’s the thing that surprises you the most. You understand that he wouldn’t hurt you, that has finally gotten cemented into your head and it fills you with a different kind of relief. You’re glad to know that you are under his protection, you’re glad that for whatever will happen in the future, you’ll be protected in a way that matters to him. You rise slowly and stretch your arms over your head, the sun shining through the blinds and the birds singing a sweet song as you rub the sleep from your eyes.

How to do perfect staging: a lesson from Italy
I mentioned at some point I might actually make a post drooling over Italy's Måneskin performance and staging. I was kinda bored to be honest and decided against it but then all those trashy rumours that try to bring the winners down seemed so disgraceful and embarrassing to me that I decided again to do it. Now, the truth is that their performance was a little better in the semi-final introduction act. Perhaps this was due to the anxiety of the Grand Final. This is why I am going to use photos and gifs from that act and perhaps this will show to some that the perfect package might need a little bit of everything, and not just slap your language on the audience's ears with the expectation that this alone is always enough. *Did I make this too personal?*
Anyway, I digress. And I don’t mean that the Grand Final performance wasn’t still the best of the night, I just mean it wasn’t at the same God Tier level as the semifinal one.
Here's why the Italians took advantage of the Dutch stage until its very last millimeter and way more cleverly than any other country.
This is the only act that starts from the back of the stage, where the singer Damiano David waits for us alone.
Tumblr media
Even with the rest of the 25 competing countries, this intro makes you forget that you are watching a contest with 26 countries as guests. Unlike anyone else, Italy looks like the host, like this place belongs to them and the frontman waits for you to show you around and possibly drag you to the world of Måneskin. In fact, you almost forget it’s Eurovision - this now looks like a Måneskin concert or, even better, a more private space of theirs with an ominous industrial feel. One of the most impactful things now is the lighting. Take a look at it. Almost all contestants throw all the lights on themselves or on some important prop they have prepared. The Italians are the only ones who chose to just light the stage itself. The simple white lights on the black stage give the impression of depth and it is the only act which shows emphatically the size of the stage. Why this? Well, we already established that in the first seconds the viewers feel they are in a new space belonging exclusively to Måneskin - the lights make us feel that their area is vast and dark and we are about to be drawn to its depths.
Damiano indeed guides us to the front as he sings, where the rest of the band are on the top of a platform. The other members won’t come down and join Damiano until he sings the appropriate verse “Buona sera, signore e signori” (=Good evening, ladies and gentlemen) and accompany it with a theatrical flamboyant bow (that feels very Italian). That’s when, technically introduced to the audience after the official greeting, bassist Victoria de Angelis and guitarist Thomas Raggi come off the platform and join Damiano.
Tumblr media
There’s nothing excessive about the visual effects. Only the use of white lights that give the perception of depth and in the background the big shadows of the group’s silhouettes. They are in the front and they cast their shadows in the back; they create to you a feeling of being trapped by them but do you really want to escape?
Tumblr media
When the second verse starts, Victoria and Thomas take the paths left and right of the stage and leave Damiano alone. They take even more advantage of the stage and in a typical classic rock band way. These two play with the side cameras but the focus is more on Damiano, whose verse sounds more like a tongue-twister. Since the cameras are rightfully on Damiano, I must now address the elephant in the room. Damiano is particularly attractive. In fact, the whole band is almost mind-bogglingly attractive and they clearly take a lot of care about how exactly they are going to look but Damiano, as the frontman, does especially so. So let’s talk about the outfit. They all have essentially the same outfit, however it is cut differently for each based on the person’s looks and personality. Isn’t it fantastic?
Tumblr media
Damiano, who oozes confidence and sex appeal, has accordingly the most “provocative” outfit of the four. His chest and arms are bare so that his many tattoos can be seen. I’ll talk about the other outfits later as they all have their place in the... uh... white lights.
During the second chorus Victoria and Thomas return at the center and after the chorus it is time for the first solo; Victoria’s. The cameras are now on her but the lighting remains modest to accentuate the dark beat of her bass.
Tumblr media
Victoria is the only girl of the group and the most dressed of them all - how refreshing! Her outfit is more similar to Thomas but she is buttoned up in the front. How does she wish to underscore her uniqueness as the woman of the band? But of course, with long flamboyant girly sleeves that come to delicious contrast with her aggressive stomping and her wide strides. Both her hairstyle and her outfit is inspired or basically just outright 70′s classic rock look.
It’s time for the bridge of the song right after her solo and Damiano has his attention on her and also draws the viewer’s attention to her some more. This part of the song is lower and softer - in relative terms - that’s why Damiano “chooses” her to sing it to. The lights now turn red, the intensity rises but there’s light flirtatiousness between them, with many smiles to each other and the camera that turns around them as they launch at each other playfully.
Tumblr media
Then the song gets darker, more intense, the guitar stronger than the bass and Damiano’s voice turns to a scream. For this part, he turns to his bro, guitarist Thomas and he now draws the attention to him.
Tumblr media
He grabs Thomas by the neck in an intense, intimate way (that doesn’t mean sexual, just intimate. His interaction with Victoria wasn’t sexual either). It is clear that through different ways Måneskin want to stress how good and close their relations are and that their singer, who is apparently a show stealer by birth, wants to ensure that they all get equal amount of attention from their audience. I love this.
True enough, nobody is left behind! The last chorus starts with a drums solo and Damiano goes up to the platform to now meet and introduce to us Ethan Torchio. Ethan stands up and his giant shadow is on the now blue background: this is the moment for the - so I hear - somewhat shy drummer to shine in his own aesthetic. The Italians leave none of their assets to fall down and Ethan’s impressive hair rightfully steals the show.
Tumblr media
Just like Victoria and Thomas look alike, so do Ethan and Damiano, that’s why their costumes are the most similar. Ethan has a vest that covers him more than Damiano but leaves his arms bare. Because whose else the arms do you need to see if not the drummer’s?
This song has something peculiar because it was not a song originally written for Eurovision; it slows down in the end and  does not end on some impressive note from the singer as usual but with the last solo we expect, that of the guitarist, because everything is fair in Måneskin! The focus has to leave Damiano, so now it’s the time for the visual effects to finally catch fire, literally,  because nobody is allowed to take their eyes off them! Måneskin use a huge amount of pyro that however feels appropriate for the intense chorus and the ending guitar solo.
Thomas steps up for his solo and I forget we are in 2021. This is the most 70s thing I would ever hope to see.
Tumblr media
In a hell of pyro, Thomas looks like he was tranferred right from a 70s rock ‘n roll concert. His outfit would be gladly taken by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. The unbuttoned jacket with this boho tie, such a classic 70s fashion touch. His haircut and even his FACE are the epitome of the 70s - what an ending sequence!
But hey we reached the end and this is Eurovision, the song slows down dangerously. Like I said, the Italians forbid us to get distracted. The attention must return to Damiano ASAP. Damiano says one last line and takes the audience with him to the very end with a death drop.
Tumblr media
There you have it. Måneskin had me holding my breath for the full three minutes and I did not want to take my eyes off my TV. There are countless shows that are awesome - in this very Eurovision as well - but I was impressed by how they seemed to have found the perfect balance for everything in every single moment. They found the perfect stage concept for the song, they relied on visual effects only when they needed them and they stressed every twist and turn of their sound with a perfectly fitting move or interaction. They also all effortlessly could hold your attention and they made sure that they all would, with members often helping bring out other members. This performance was beautiful and, above all, clever which is why it was undoubtedly the worthiest of the win.

What does a baby chicken leave behind after it has hatched?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When a chicken hatches it leaves behind its eggshell, its egg membrane, and old blood vessels.
The egg shell is made up of calcium carbonate. The shell contains anything between 7,000 to 17,000 tiny pores which allow moisture to pass through the egg. Eggshells that arent washed are also covered in a bloom that further helps protect the eggs contents from harmful bacteria.
There is a thinner membrane after the egg shell which is hard to see but its thin and pale and its job is to keep out any bacteria. I find its easy to see when you boil an egg its that membraine you can peel off along with the eggshell. It helps keep everything safe and together.
The membrane with the old blood vessels left behind is called the Allantois. Its job is very important. The blood vessels in the membrane take in oxygen from outside of the egg and get rid carbon dioxide as well. Its also helpful in the process of converting the yolk into useable food for the embryo and gaining access to the calicum of the eggshell itself which the embryo needs to develop its bones.
As a chick gets ready to hatch and take its first breath those blood vessels are no longer needed so the blood in them is slowly absorbed and the veins dry out. Another side effect of this is the membrane becomes easier for the chick the break and push through.
You can tell if a chick is hatching to quickly or to early if you see blood during the hatching process, turning down the heat a little bit might help.
The membrane is also important for waste disposal during development it helps tranfer waste materials to more desirable areas in the egg.
I have noticed broody hens love to eat the eggshells if given the chance which makes alot of sense! No reason to let that left over calicum carbonate go to waste

Here is the chick who hatched from said egg

What I would've done for S2 & S3 of hsmtmts if I was the writer/director:
Nini
I would've probably changed Nini to not getting into YAC in the first season. She would've stayed the second semester at East High. She would spend the season working on her acting to get ready for an audition for YAC for senior year (so the audience could feel like she actually deserved it- instead of just bc she's the MC). -
She would have to reckon with the fact that her going off-script was probably why she wasn't accepted. -
I would've also given Nini more personality, maybe explore her interests outside of school, or her relationship with her moms. Make her have more flaws and have her learn to work through them. -
Nini lands the understudy for a main/secondary role and gets casted as the rose. She ends up helping backstage and works with Ashlyn as a songwriter/composer for the show. -
I'm thinking throughout the season she'll deal with a lot of school pressure, along with relationship problems, and her own stress of trying to make it into YAC and she'll eventually break down from the stress (Gina, Kourtney, and her parents would be there for her) -
her audition could've been in the last episode (making the "second chance" song more meaningful) -
I think Nini being low-key iced out by her friend group for going to YAC was messed up. That was her ambition. -
ALTERNATE IDEA: She could've also transferred to North High instead, making their menkies competition more relavent. Then tranferred back after a while and have to deal with going against her friends. [Idk just most of her personality in the two seasons, even after Ricky and Nini broke up, revolved around Ricky and she didn't get to have a life or personality beyond 1) the musical and 2) the boys in her life]
Ricky
Ricky's arc would be similar to the original. Him having Nini as his lifeline was pretty toxic for the both of them anyway. This time with him having some character development. Maybe having a scene where Nini says something like "I care about you Ricky, I really do. But I can't handle my own problems along with yours. I'm always here if you need to talk, but...maybe you should get some help first. You should talk to your parents." then after a bunch of stuff, Ricky learns to ask for help, and his parents send him to therapy. He apologizes to Nini. [Btw this arc wouldn't be to bash Ricky, but more of have him learn healthy ways of venting and finding help]
He finally talks and works things through with his mom and she and his dad finally realize the emotional toll their problems have caused Ricky
I was thinking about a flashback to Ricky seeing his parents fight all the time but that might be too dark for a Disney show
Ricky wasn't interested in musicals before, so therefore he should, realistically, have to learn to play the piano or guitar (Nini could've taught him)
if the writers wanted him to have acting/singing as his actual passion and not just as something he joined to get Nini back- then we should've had him practicing singing or acting (not for Nini this time) while also doing his old hobbies.
Nini and Ricky
I feel like they missed a really good opportunity to teach the audience how to open up and work through problems when they just decided to make Rini break up over miscommunication.
For a relationship that mentions them as childhood best friends, i wasn't feeling the best friends thing when they were together
If the writers were intending for us to root for Rini, then they should've made Ricky have more redeeming qualities, him doing stuff on Nini's phone was EJ-like which they established in S1 was bad
Consider this as some dialogue Nini and Ricky could've had about their relationship in the treehouse scene: Nini: "I don't even know how I got from loving you so much to not even wanting to fight for this" instead of just stating the obvious of "we've been miss-communicating all year" Ricky could've said something like: Ricky: "I wasn't honest with you. I tried to hide things from you. It feels like we're not even friends anymore." Nini: "We were friends...what happened?" Ricky: "I don't know, what's been going on with my parents has-" Nini: "No, this isn't their fault. It's ours." *a long pause* Nini: "Since we're admitting things we've done wrong. I've got one. I wasn't intending on sharing the rose song with you. I don't know i think i was just- scared it would cause more problems and i...hid a lot of the things i was feeling...about us." Ricky: "Can I ask...what are you feeling... about us? Like... was the song really all about us?"
you get the point- Rini would actually work through their problems instead of constantly having miscommunication problems that were unrealistic given that they were friends since kindergarten
Kourtney
Kourtney should've been given an arc and I would probably cut Howie (i like him but not every girl needs a love interest- if not then Howie shouldn’t have been the only depth she has).
Kourtney could have a fashion internship and we could explore her personality.
Make her more than the bff of Nini- have Nini be the one to reassure and be there for her
healthy feminism that's not just there for tokenism (and not whatever S1 Kourtney was)
Make people be there for her and don't just leave her alone because she's "strong" and "independent" People need help sometimes. Being independent is different to having no one there for you.
Gina
Jack appeared and disappeared- would've probably made him show up once more. And Gina and him wouldn't meet like that- maybe they knew each other from another school (bc normal ppl don't randomly talk to strangers at airports lol) -
I liked Gina's arc overall and would've kept it.
Introduced or at least hinted at Gina's brother more (him calling her but her refusing to answer because it's been so long)
Even if her main plot will revolve around love, Gina would have...well... a life.
Explore her relationship with her mom
explore how traveling all the time has affected her
things like not wanting to get attached bc even tho she has a place to stay, things can change at any moment and she knows that
showing her adapting to new situations really quickly
Her relationship with her brother could've been explored more
EJ
More on-screen character development
Building off the arrogant, confident character he was in the first season and still having some of those qualities as the second season progressed
Follow up for him and his dads conversation
Cousin duo with Ashlyn
EJ should've had a storyline outside of Gina being a symbol of his "development,"
He could have talked to Nini about how he was feeling about his future since they both were worried about the same
Gina and EJ
EJ's is a lot more tactful than Ricky and if the writers had wanted for us to root for them more- Ej could've represented what Ricky didn't do. Instead they had him misscomunicate about the big brother thing for shock and drama value and have Gina be the one to clear it up.
Have EJ try to be a good person, not for Gina, but for himself.
Consistent friendship with Gina before it was implied he had a crush
ALTERNATE PLOT IDEA: Instead of having them end up together, have them be more brother/sister and support system. Have EJ learn to be a good person without doing it for someone and rather do it for himself
All in all I would've kept the basic framework of their relationship and just change up a few things
Carlos and Seb
I loved Carlos' arc too (and Seb's).
Have Seb sing more
more screentime alltogether
Ashlyn
I liked them touching on body image issues with Ashlyn but i probably wouldn't have mentioned it once and then never mention it again. I think it should've lasted at least 2/3 episodes.
Ashlyn could've seen a plus size actress in a musical she goes to with Kourtney and Gina (bc that trio is amazing) and feeling a lot more confident but still a little insecure (cuz insecurities don't just disappear with a short monologue)
I'm very anti one-dimensional mean girl so, as part of Lily's redemption, lily would build up Ashlyn a little.
Maybe cut out Big Red/Ashlyn because i see them more as friends (they could still have similar scenes together tho)
have ashlyn and big red break up by spring break- ashlyn won't tell anyone and keep her personal life out of her acting and end up spiraling
completely cut out any french guy jealousy from Big Red (completely unneeded)
Lily
I would've had Lily be more of the 3 dimensional character- i think we should be over the mean girl trope. I'm thinking parental issues/pressures (building off episode 11) and some insecurity or anxiety would be pretty realistic. Maybe she’s sick of constantly being the center of attention and wants some downtime.
If they intend to make Ricky and Lily end up together (or at least have a friendship), I would do it a little differently. In the Ricky section of this post i mentioned Ricky, if acting/singing had become his passion, should've taken up some lessons. What if Lily had ended up being his tutor or something? Maybe he signed up before all the drama and got to know her before.
just think of all the possibilities tho- it would also make the “let you go” song that Ricky does on the piano have some double meaning
Lily stealing the harness makes absolutely no sense plot-wise, so I would also cut that out
Side characters
French dude should've gotten more screentime
Mazzara/Jenn should've been equal pining like in S1- not just mainly one sided
Plot
more episodes, most of the problems and conflicts presented weren't resolved or addressed by the end of the series. Characters, especially the ones in relationships, don't even talk about their problems. And yes, realistically, sometimes people don't talk it out, but most get closure within themselves and problems don't appear and disappear magically. -
maybe change the menkies competition for another competition, something where you can have more creative liberty with the plot and songs -
cut out the dance/sing off, it was completely unneeded
cut out the "come back video" to North High's diss video
cut out the sleepover episode
All these episodes did was provide unneeded drama that could've been used to instead to take a break from the conflict and be more character driven -
Maybe a different musical- BATB was a weird choice for an official competition. If not then different casting
Ej for beast, Ricky for Gaston, seb for candleholder, carlos for clock,
The scenes from the musical should've been included, I felt like there was an episode missing between ep.11 and 12
Every relationship was the exact same- the guy pining to the loosely interested girl and then when they get together the girl having to constantly reassure him about the relationship
Ok, guess they wasted that entire semester just to never open the envelope (they should've opened it because they realized that the Menkies tore them apart and they lost sight of their passion)
a lot of the events, character development, and reactions were off-screen, which made it so annoying to watch bc a lot of those scenes were important to the plot
Disclaimer: Not hating on the writers, directors, or actors of this show. I'm just inputting my own ideas of what I think would've made the show better for me. I kept and cut out some ships i did/didn't like so my personal opinion on the relationships do have an influence

Hey kora I know this might sound stupid or pathetic and I promise I do try really hard to not care about what celebrities say or think but this whole Chad/Samantha thing is really affecting me and whenever this sort of thing happens I just get really upset because of how poorly gay people get treated and constantly baited and how we constantly live on crumbs and also it makes me feel stupid and crazy (bad crazy not fun crazy) for even thinking Dean and cas would be in love even though cas is in love with dean canonically. Is there any way to just stop caring? I’m really hurt and upset by all of this
hi!! first of all mwah. thats a little kiss on the cheek for you if youre so inclined to accept it!!! okay so you dont sound stupid or pathetic at all - i really get it!!! i do. a lot of friends and i agree that today, like so many days, we have to laugh at the levels of bait and shit that gets tossed at gay spn fans because if we don’t, it’s upsetting. you’re not alone in feeling that way. there’s something really disheartening and insidious about the way we’ve been treated for years by actors, writers, producers, other fans, and people who have nothing to do with the show at all but think that destiel is a fun punchline to making fun of fandom stuff. and here’s the long and short of it: we dont deserve it. we deserve to be, at the very least, respected for how we think and feel! there’s nothing wrong with finding queer messages in stories, whether they were intentional or not, and it certainly isnt “disrespectful” to the show (which. what a joke, like she gave a shit about “respecting the show” when she was shading the finale three months ago) to do so. in the case of supernatural, we KNOW that we aren’t crazy - cas literally canonically confessed his love for dean! writers and actors have given nods here and there to behind-the-scenes discussion of destiel, bi dean, gay cas...they know, and they did it on purpose. we only saw what they gave us and patched it all together, we aren’t crazy and we aren’t wrong for doing that.
i guess the best thing i can say as far as specifically feeling disheartened by being hurt, mocked, and disrespected (yet again) by people involved in the show is this: no matter what their role in making the show, once that episode airs, it no longer belongs to them. when we watch an episode, thats it! custody tranfers over to us, the fans - and now that the show is done? these characters belong to US! samantha and chad and anyone else only have as much claim over these characters and this show as we do. in fact, im willing to bet money that we could talk circles around either of them and most of the cast/team wrt lore, characterization, themes, etc like just because they worked on the show does NOT mean they know better
so ultimately, just keep your head up!! it sucks and it hurts that homophobia is so peristent, but all we can do is laugh and shrug it off as best we can. we’ve never been crazy for connecting the dots, and we dont deserve anyone acting like we are. and hey, when all else fails, you can watch their twitter followers go down <3

I see the argument all the time that people didn't like TLOU Part 2 because Joel was just so not Joel - and don't get me wrong I definitely agree. Never would Part 1 Joel have saved some random girl, tell her who he was, and then venture to where her community members were stored away. The unrealistic amount of trust Joel found for Abby is astounding.
Part 2 Joel was definitely soft, which isn't a bad thing necessarily. It's actually something I think we all love. Joel deserved to loosened up, nest a bit, and realize that there's a lot of good left in the world. BUT there's not so much so that you can just be friendly to every random stranger you meet outside your town. Yes, Part 1 Joel would have known better. That's just fact.
My issue with Part 2 is less about Joel (that's a lie, there's a HUGE part that's still most definitely about Joel) but more about Ellie and her immunity.
Tumblr media
So let's - for only a moment because we can't be away long - set aside our undeniable love for our favorite dilf. We'll be back for it later.
TLOU through and through is set in a world of growing infected and the thinning human race. Basic post apocalyptic zombie world. Part 1 is literally all about getting the only known human to be IMMUNE from the infection to a doctor who could create a cure. Yes, of course, it has heart and feeling and father/daughter bonds, but take that way, and here's the thing: you still have a PLOT.
Even if Joel didn't end up caring for Ellie as much as he did, he still would have done what he needed to. He still would have Lord of The Ringsed her across the country to the Fireflies. They didn't have to make us love Joel and Ellie and they definitely didn't have to make us love Joel and Ellie TOGETHER. That was just pure blessing.
It probably wouldn't have been as good of game had Joel been a dick the entire time, chucked Ellie into Mount Doom, and rode off thinking he did his part in saving a race he didn't really give a fuck about. Wholesome? Course not. But I'm sure they could filter it over with City of Gotham vibes somehow and make it work... maybe?
Either way we wouldn't have had such a controversial Part 2 that's for sure.
To me the whole point of Part 1 got lost in Part 2. We went from trying to safely tranfer a teen to save the world to chasing after someone to get revenge. And I don't want to say revenge is a dumb way to move a plot. There are great storylines that are based solely on revenge (John Wick, Kill Bill, Gladiator) but these stories aren't already established with a particular and significant understanding. What happened to saving the world? What happened to every single thing we and Joel and Ellie went through in Part 1? What, and I feel like I shouldn't have to say this, the hell happened to Ellie being immune? It's only mentioned to explain why she can survive the spores, but otherwise not relevant and almost unimportant. We would love her even without it, but in this world, it's the kind of thing I feel like shouldn't be overlooked when infected are literally evolving to blow up.
Joel might be our main character in Part 1 but Ellie is the point. Ellie is the purpose. Her immunity is the reason for everything. She's so pissed at Joel for saving her from the Fireflies that she avoids him for two years. I would assume someone that heated and invested in their own self sacrifice would at least keep an ear out for a second chance at a cure. There could have been ways to tie in her immunity BEFORE and WITH revenge for Joel's death. Maybe a WLF doctor working with Abby's dad's old medical notes? I don't know.
Tumblr media
Perhaps I'm just someone who wants to get a solution to a problem that we fought so hard for even if a solution just isn't in the cards. Apocalypses are apocalypses for a reason - no easy fix. Maybe I'm so used to stories were the chosen one, the important one, the unicorn is front and center with their significance and used appropriately. TLOU is rugged and real and nowhere near a story of sunshine, rainbows, and perfect endings, but don't present me with a character that's the end all be all to the infection cure and then never get there.
I want to say I'm only upset with the game because Joel died or because he died in such a way that he did. I think that would be a little easier. It would be easier than saying the graphics and game play are amazing once you take away context. Easier than saying that overlooking the plot, the world we get to explore is immaculate. And definitely easier than saying that while I'll play the game again, and still enjoy it, it's with an internal realization that despite the same world and the same characters, the game we were given was not The Last of Us.

Julie and the Phantoms Theory
Wow so I just binged watched julie and the phantoms on netflix and this show is amazing, like really really fantastic. It is aimed at a younger audience than most of the series I watch but it really doesn’t matter, I do think this is a show that any age group can enjoy. The music in it is so so good and I’ve been listening to the songs on replay non stop. Also have two new ships I am obsessed with Juke and Willex. If you haven’t seen the show it is defo one I would recommend. However despite watching the whole season I have soo many questions that need answering and well anyone who has read any of my posts ever know how much I love to over analyse and obsess/ theorise about tv shows. The rest I am going to put under the tag because of spoilers so if you want to hear some thoeries/ analysis then read on, but I should warn you I am going to be talking about the sensitive topics of death and bereavement so only do so if you feel comfortable.
So one of the biggest questions I have is regarding the deaths of Alex, Luke and Reggie. Now I know that they die from eating bad street hotdogs and I know alot of the reason why they die that way is for the comedy aspect of it. I mean one of the many things this show did really well was balancing the comedy aspects with the emotional aspects. I appreciate that as the audience we are suppose to just accept this somewhat wacky death and go with it but well thats just not me and I kept wondering what exactly was wrong with the hotdogs that it actually killed them. Some things about it just don’t add up and I hate not knowing the answers so here are some theories I have, some more outlandish than others.
Theory 1- Food Posioning (Honestly this isn’t really a theory but lets just go with it)
My first thought when I first watched it is the most obvious one which is they got food poisoning. I mean the place they got the hotdogs from didn’t look the most sanitary. However here’s the part that doesn’t add up for me and that is how quickly they died. We know from Alex’s comment to Willy in episode 8 that they were two hours away from going on stage the night they died. This means they had to have started showing symptoms within those two hours before the show which lead to the ambulance being called. In the first episode Reggie says that after they floated out of the ambulance they went to a dark room. The part that caught my attention here is the line about the ambulance as this tells us that they died in the ambulance before they ever got to the hospital. Now I don’t know how far away the hotdog place was from The Orpheum but I’m assuming it was fairly close considering how important the show was to them, I personally wouldn’t go too far from the venue if I had a big show in just a couple of hours.  According to my google search the nearest hospital to The Orpheum is Diginity Health California Hospital Medical Center. This hospital is only 5 mins away from The Orpheum, obviously I know this time would be effected by traffic amongst other factors but the point is the time between ingesting the hotdogs and them dying was relatively short. Which makes it unlikely that they died from food posioning. Whilst food poisoning can kill its very rare and usually takes a lot longer than a few hours I mean ordinarily it takes days. So the likelihood that all three of them would have been killed by food posioning that quickly is actually slim to none.
Theory 2- It was Premeditated.
My next theory is much much darker and definitely more out there. It also depends on how dark they plan to go with Bobby/Trevor’s character. But we know that Bobby stays behind and doesn’t go for hotdog’s claiming to be a vegetarian (which was a lie), he also seems to be pretty eager for the other three to go. Now in the scene it seems like the reason for this is so he can be alone to filrt with Rose but what if Bobby had more sinister plans what if he had some hand in the boys’ deaths and had actually posioned them or arranged for them to be poisoned. Maybe he always planned to steal Luke’s songs and take all the credit, fame and money for himself. When Julie looks up Sunset Curve on her phone you can get a glimpse at the article she reads. In the article it says ‘There was a surviving band member, Bobby, but no one has been able to track him down...’ This article seems to have been written about a week after the night they died which shows that Bobby went under the radar pretty quickly after his bandmates died. Now again this could be explained away as Bobby grieving and wanting to stay out of the spotlight as he worked through that and that him stealing the songs was a more opportunistic act than him premeditating his bandmates murders.
Another possible variant of this theory is that it was still an orchestrated death but it wasn’t Bobby who wanted the boys dead but Caleb. During that opening scene they were still alive and we know normally lifers can’t see ghosts so for all we know Caleb could have seen them perform and had decided then that he wanted them as his house band, he didn’t want to wait for them to die so he took matters into his own hands. We assume that the first time Caleb hears about the band is from Willie but there was that scene from the first episode where he bumps into Alex and to me it almost seems like he recognises the group. Also I don’t think its a coincidence that he bumps into them right outside The Orpheum. It could be that he knew they would show up as ghosts at some point and figured they would go back to The Orpheum when they did and so would sometimes patrol that area just waiting for them. It could also explain why he’s willing to let Willie skate around the streets of LA maybe he was hoping Willie would do exactly would he did and bump into one of the boys whether Willie was aware of this plan is a whole other kettle of fish I feel like most likely he wouldn’t have because I feel like he would have told them Caleb had sent him to find them when he told them about the jolts. Point is the whole thing could have been one big elaborate plan of Caleb’s to get the band for himself, his obsession with the band could have been bigger than what we were shown in the first season.
The last variant of this theory could be a mixture of the previous two. Maybe it was an elaborate plan made by Caleb but with the help of Bobby. Maybe Bobby made a deal with the devil so to speak and in exchange for fortune and fame he gave up his bandmates. Maybe he even gave up his own soul too but he gets to live out his dream life first. We know through Willy that Caleb has made deals with lifers that are part of the Hollywood Ghost Club so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to think he could’ve made a deal with Bobby.
To be honest I’m not completely sold on this theory purely because the show is aimed at a younger audience and although it does cover some mature themes around death and bereavement I think murder might be a little too dark for its target audience. But then on the other hand they did have that storyline of Caleb trying to destroy the boys with those jolts so maybe I’m wrong.
Theory 3- The Car Battery.
Ok so this theory I think is the most likely out of them all. When you think about what we know about the boys death and the timeline its that 1) They ate hot dogs that tasted bad. 2) They obviously started to show worrying symptoms that lead to somebody calling an ambulance, these symptoms showed up in under two hours. 3) They died in the ambulance before getting to the hospital (which was approx 5 mins away). Also from the sound of it they all died around the same time, as in all of them were in the ambulance it wasn’t a case of one of them died at the scene, another in the ambulance and another in the hospital. Meaning the effect time was pretty consistent, we know that they all took the first bite at the same time. So keeping all that in mind lets look at the scene again. The first thing I want to point out is that when the boys get the hot dogs they don’t show us them actually being handed the hotdogs, when we see them they already have the hotdogs and they are at the condiments adding their pickles and sauces. This in my opinion tells us that the hazard did not occur during the cooking process but at this moment when they were getting the condiments. Also we see Alex talking about how he couldn’t wait to eat someplace where the condiments weren’t in the back of a car. This scene opens by showing us said condiments and also whilst Alex is talking focusing in on the car battery. Right after his comment about the condiments Alex goes up to the seller and apologises for getting pickle juice on his battery cables once again this draws attention to the battery and its close proximity to the food. The seller just laughs it off stating that maybe it will help with the rust. This seems like a throw away comment but it could actually be a big clue into what happened to the boys. This tells us that not only is the battery near the food but its rusting and in a bad condition and if its in a poor condition it could be leaking. Ok so why is this important to how the boys died? Well because car batteries have sulfuric acid in them. I said before that the whole food poisoning thing didn’t add up for me because generally speaking when things go wrong during the cooking process such as something being undercooked or unclean, it doesn’t tend to kill you and in the rare circumstances if it does it usually takes days to weeks; but the chances of surviving food posioning are very high. However if someone were to ingest sulfuric acid even a couple of drops could be fatal. For examble if there was any sulfuric acid in the bottom of the trunk it could have gotton onto the utensils they used or onto the bottom of the sauce bottles which could then have tranferred over to the food.
Also sulfuric acid usually kills a person within a few hours and can start having an effect on the body pretty much immediately. The mortality rate of sulfuric acid poisoning is very high the survival rate is only around 35% which would make it much more likely that not only did they all die but that the all died around the same time after exposure. The reason why it can kill so quickly is because it can effect the airways. Also the comment the seller made about the rust could have another possible explanation because whilst a leaking battery could have contaminated the food, sulfuric acid can also be found in some anti rust treatments. So if the seller was trying to treat the rust on the battery without removing the condiments from the trunk then that too could have created an opportunity for the food to become contaminated with sulfuric acid.
So yeah this is my best guess at how the boys died, they accidently ingested sulfuric acid that had contaminated the condiments that had been stored next to a rusted car battery. It’s tragic and more tragic than that is that although it can only take a few drops obviously the less posion a person ingests the more chance they have at surviving. We know that even though the first bite tasted weird they continued to eat the hotdogs but if they had stopped after that first bite they might have actually survived. Obviously I’m not an expert on any of this so I could be totally wrong but to me this is what makes the most sense.
Anyway what theories do you guys have? Also what questions are you hoping to get answered if we get a season 2 (we better get a season 2 or I’m gonna be real mad)?

Next Gen (Updated)
here’s a v v flexible list of my next gen muses. most of them have been around for a while, but I do have some new additions
Whitney Cruz-Mendoza - Middle child of Blake and Christelle
Tumblr media
- Singer-Songwriter - St. Judes, but plans on tranfering out - Since the release of her first album she’s been getting a lot of record deals overseas and is considering transferring to different uni for more opportunities - The wild child of the family. Has probably snuck out of the house to go partying at least three times LMAO. - FC: Gabby Hua
Tilly Cruz-Mendoza - Youngest child of Blake and Christelle
Tumblr media
- Dancer - Diamond Academy, kinda made her choice not realising just how far away she’d be from her family but she’s living with it - Probably the most sheltered and spoilt out of the four - She’s very naïve and definitely needs some things spelt out to her before she fully gets an understanding of things. - FC: Andree “AC” Bonifacio
Sylvia Jimenez-Lin - Only child of Phoenix and Gabriel
Tumblr media
- Sportswoman (Specialising in Volleyball) - Liberty - Seeing Jay? - I think she’d come out of her shell a lot more since coming to terms with her (tw) Huntingtons diagnosis, becoming a lot more popular than she was in Springs Park - Has some struggles with the costs of her hospital visits, campus rent and her tuitions, but she’d never admit it since she hates having to ask for favours, especially from her mother - Works part-time as a waitress at a popular Italian restaurant to keep up financially  - FC: @/bbyambi
Yui “Youi” Moon - Youngest child of Jiwon
Tumblr media
- Singer, Dancer & Producer - Liberty - A member of (G)i-dle. As a trainee, she produced over 100 demos for the group to record as time went on. - However, due to a clause added in the girls’ contracts by her agency’s CEO, all of the music produced by Youi and the other girls in (G)i-dle is credited under the leader’s name, Soyeon. - HATES Soyeon, as well as being (G)i-dle, for that reason. Would not hesitate to tear the group and the agency apart if she didn’t love the other members LMAO. - FC: Seo Soojin
Jihoon Kang - Youngest child of Haneul
Tumblr media
- Blossom Bell - Rapper, Producer & Dancer - The opposite of Haneul. He is really rowdy, clumsy and has had a fair share of dumb moments - A very strategic person when he wants to be.  - When it comes to being in his group, ATEEZ, he takes his work very seriously as 1/2 of their rappers. - FC: Song Mingi
Yohan Kang - Middle child of Haneul
Tumblr media
- Blossom Bell - Rapper, Producer, Singer, Dancer & Actor - The closest to Haneul out of all three sons. Quiet, reserved and well-behaved. - Kinda comes off as the boring brother since his brothers are so bold - When he is with his brothers and cousins, he can get a bit chaotic. - Despite being the most diverse one, talent-wise, he’s arguably the most underrated sibling. - FC: Kim Geonhak (Leedo)
Joji “Georgie” Heo - Youngest child of Sangwoo
Tumblr media
- Dancer & football player - uni tbd - Her and her brother, Minhyuck, are polar opposites but still very tight-knit. She’s very bright and talkative, but once you say something wrong to her she will get fiery - She grew up in a very musical background thanks to her father, so many people were surprised to see that she didn’t go down that path (I might have her join Itzy later depending on how well i go promoting idle, ateez and oneus LMAO) - FC: Hwang Yeji
Eric Mendoza - Youngest Child of Cassie
Tumblr media
- Singer (Keshi vc???) - St. Judes - After successfully throwing her siblings under the bus, Cassie took over all of their money laundering operations, with Eric’s older sister, Moira, set to take her place once she calls it quits - A single father. Sorta - Being 17 when his son, Aden, was born he knew that his mother would slaughter him for (accidentally) having a child so young - The only person who knows is Moira, who agreed to cover for him and pretend to be Aden’s parent, under the promise that he’d take over the money laundering schemes instead of her - Which was a fair deal because Cassie was NOT happy about Aden at all - FC: Donny Pangilinan
NILA LIN - Only Child of Duyi Iamphang-Lin
Tumblr media
- Singer & Producer (Alina Baraz vc) - West Ivys - Still lives with her dad - Everyone kinda expected her to become a kpop girl but after getting chosen to debut in a girl group as their leader she pulled out, deciding that it wasn’t right for her - FC: Cat Strat
