decorates himself with the flowers he grows hehe

rabbit plushy is the aubrey

bat is visibly without nails, she could accidentally hurt herself if it did!

ears look like a lop bunnys because it looks a little silly and i think its fitting

sunny is a star projector, and omori is the lightbulb(tm)

(the lightbulb in white space is replaced w something else)

suny probably glows purple when dreaming

kel and hero are a bottle cap pin and a blue ribbon respectively!

hero's ribbon flows behind him like a hero's cape (haha), and kel has a design that is vaguely either an orange slice or basketball. you will never be able to truly tell

mari... mari.

glass ornament, with lily of the valley designs, and has a little light inside! has a small dent where there was broken glass repaired after a softball injury. wears picnic themed bandanna, but that can also be replaced with the one cyan ribbon (y'knowthe one), or the white one she wears for the recital

uh oops

speaking of which, here are sketches of the "hanging" incident

the accident is still the same, but the hanging is less gruesome

rather than faking a you-know-what, sunny and basil try to simply hide her in the tree so nobody finds her, simply a 'hide the body' scenario. They have seen christmas ornaments in trees, so surely this would not be so different. Mari ends up getting strung up by her string loopy that most holiday ornaments have.

they are about to go back into sunny's house but due to cruel fate, the branch holding mari loosens and breaks and she falls to a lower branch, tree snapping noise is heard, it causes the two kids to look back and, well..

the figure of Something is formed because Mari shattered after falling down the stairs. The light she has inside forms the illusion of an eye staring back at Sunny and Basil (and like the og, hints at the possibility that she's still alive lawl)

The cracks in Mari's glass also form Basil's Something, but i dont have a drawing yet

the Sunny and Basil fight goes just a little differently in this AU

when Sunny's eye gets stabbed, the shears acts like a conductor to electricity since snuy is an electrical appliance. it causes both of them to pass out due to electric shock rather than the fight wearing them out.

i KNOW that makes you eyebrow raise at both lake incidents but im maaking both sunny and mari at least a little waterproof its finee its all good shhh shhhh

here's sunny and basil a little happier (based off of a photograph in the album)

Yeah I was talking about the family stuff.

You seem to be struggling lots with that. You said there's djstance between you two but why doesn't he help you, offer you advice, or at least some support.

Now of course he could be doing that behind closed doors but it doesn't seem like he is. You're honestly like so nice and so sweet the least he could do is help you instead of just use you and discard you.

Oh he definitely helps in that way. Like if it wasn’t for his help, I’d have def been stuck at my parents longer while finally selling the house I had w my ex. There’s been a bunch of times when I’ve been really upset and he’s making me feel a lot better. I really don’t have the best memory so it’s hard to put together a lot examples… especially since the family drama stuff isn’t stuff I particularly want to remember.

But like also all the family stuff is like the vast majority of what I talk about in therapy. She said in one of the last sessions that I was making a bunch of progress from where I was. A part of that is how I’m like finally being angrier about things instead of internalizing everything and feeling like I’m some really horrible person. Def have gotten lots of support from him when I’ve been in that feeling like I’m horrible place. And like yeah I’m still having a hard time with things, but Im also soo much happier than I was before I met him.

Another thing tho too is I tend to be cautious about sharing a lot of things on here about anything w him. Like I def strayed from that lately, cause it feels nice to talk about him more. But literally anytime I do that for a bit, it’s end up getting hate mail on here, and while he def has helped that not feel as bad, it’s still not fun. So, to say that my blog def doesn’t give the full picture.

I super appreciate you caring about me and thinking I’m all nice and sweet. That sentiment is really nice. And it’s sweet to know people care, even if they are anon people lol.

im thinking just a little bit after he became a general? or maybe a little bit before when he still a commander. for now im gonng go w general.

anyway hes a little bit too reckless on a mission and, as one of the most effective jedi in war, the council is kinda limited on punishments, so they make him do a "boring" mission where he has to go to some planet and find a cave wheres theres supposedly a sith artifiact. hes supposed to investiagte and bring it back if he can. he finds it, tells the troopers to go into another part of the cave bc he doesnt know what it could do, and as soon as theyre out of sight, he reaches for it carefully. he can be stupid at times, but hes not that much of an idiot where hes gonna just try and grab a sith artifact.

it doesnt rlly matter tho. as soon as he reaches his hand out, he falls unconcious, and soon enough theres a bunch of strangers in his blurry vision, saying something he cant hear.

haha wow hes on tython. that is not good. as soon as hes cleared by the medics hes summoned to the council room and the council is like hey the year is uh. whatever the year is. and anakin is like. haha. fuck. and he tells them hes from the future and the council doesnt quite believe him until he pulls some force bullshit and shares memories or something. idk im still figuring that out.

obviously there isnt a way for him to return home. and im gonna say that the force is a lot less clouded than it was in the future (bc yeah there sith, but the future jedi hadnt faced the sith in a long time, and were even sitting on a sith shrine wihtout even knowing so. idk) so master satele sees that there a lot of conflict in anakin and that hes already been touched by darkness. so she likes hey ik u were a jedi knight but i think u should be a padawan again. obviously anakin is like no absolutely not, but they take a walk together and satele convinces him sharing what she sees, and how it would make him a better jedi to learn things from a different perspective (time? idk)

anakins Does Not want to do it but agrees anyway bc shes the grandmaster o the order and hes a little scared of her. and omg. jedi knight storyline. wow im so creative.

if hes cries a little because t7 is just as smart and sarcastic as r2, no one has to know. he also cantt believe that he has a padawan (!!!) now because he never thought hed make a good teacher. or become friends with the emporers wrath for that matter. regardless, the jedi of old, know darkness, they know how easy it is to fall, and they know how to bring people back to light. by the end of the jk storyline, anakin is much more at peace w himself than he was when he arrived. and honestly, he couldnt be happier :}

We make the best HCs & your characters are so loveable, even when they make choices that I probably wouldn't. im a recent follower and started reading ilal around last month i think? i guess i got here when you had just released chapter 8. im such a big fan of this fic, you have no idea! its probably one of my favorites in all ateez tumblr rn. i wasnt a fan of fanfics that have chapters (ive read one-shots for the longest time) but this preference has started to change recently and ilal has a major role in it. the story and universe is amazing, im truly amazed!

and i love how you write y/n, i see myself A LOT in her. major intimacy and vulnerability fear gang here :)) i swear that some of her thoughts have been literally the same as mine's and thats so endearing and self indulgent to me. i also love her relationship with her sibilings! then being so close is such a heartfelt element in the story for me, as a person whos rlly attached to my sibilings too. and im not even gonna start talking ab the members or else ill write a full thesis about every. single. one. of. them. and. how. they. treat. and. treasure. y/n. so. fucking. much. even though ther relationship has problems.

i'm so glad you enjoy ilal! it's been an absolute pleasure to write, and i enjoy nothing more than getting to share it with all of you! and wow, i'm so glad you gave ilal a chance! that really means a lot! i've always been more of a chapter person myself, but i completely understand why one-shots can be preferable because then you don't have to wait weeks/months to get more. i've wanted/thought about writing more one-shots myself, but sadly, i'm not very good with it. an idea gets into my head and then i write way too many words. which is also a problem because i usually struggle with finishing things. my drive is literally full of unfinished works. oops. but don't worry, i have never been more motivated to finish a fic before ilal. like, this one is going to be the one that i finally finish.

i'm so glad you love y/n's characteristics. i'm honestly really bad about using my own personalities and characteristics in characters i write because it's easier. and i think ilal y/n is probably the closest person i've written to myself. i didn't really mean for it to be that way, but oops. i'm glad though that you and others can relate to y/n though, and to know you're not the only one who struggles in areas like those. (like literally, i've been with my partner for almost three years now and i still struggle with being vulnerable around them.)

i don't usually write characters with siblings in my works, which i don't really know why because i also am lucky to have a very close relationship with my siblings, but it has been very fun to write!

18. a memorable meal this year?

okay so this one is kinda funny, because i had a lot of good meals. my friends and i went to korean bbq a few times, had a lot of really good pho, and those almost make the top , bUT

we spent a couple days in another town for a school event, and pretty much all the food SUCKED, even the super fancy place we went right before the formal event. we decided to leave town a bit early because i’m not joking it was so boring up there. WELL earlier in the day, someone had told me about a tradition all the students partake in. after football games each week, they all go to this one gas station and buy their chicken on a stick. so i figured why not, right, and so on our way out of town we stopped there. it was $7 for like. 3 chicken strips worth of chicken on this MASSIVE stick. i kid you not it was probably the best thing i’ve ever eaten

19. what’re you excited about for next year?

w e l l in may, im going to AUSTRALIA ! going to see the boys again >:) so that’s definitely #1 on my list. but i’m also moving apartments again (probably), hoping to start funding my top surgery (possibly for christmas break or more likely summer 2024), and working on my degree. i hope to write some more too :)

20. what’s something you learned this year?

if you’re waiting for the right time to do something, just do it now. this works in terms of procrastinating school work or cleaning, but also in the bigger scheme. for 19 years of my life, i hid who i was from pretty much everyone, waiting for the right time. i realized eventually that the perfect time doesn’t exist. there’s always going to be someone that disagrees, or some reason to convince yourself to shut it away. but coming out was the best decision i have ever made, and i am so, so much happier at the end of this year than i was in the beginning. i started t, something absolutely inconceivable to me at the start of 2022. my family isn’t happy. i know they never will be. but i am, and i know that’s most important. one day eventually i’ll really believe it too.

you can and you will make it. and on the other side of this mountain is the most beautiful view you’ll ever see.

"Twitter" Ramblings

I just did a big thread on twitter that I'm gonna cross post here because idk I feel like it has some good thoughts. Sorry if it sounds a bit weird here since it was a bit disjointed and cause its Twitter posts™

For Context: I, in my immense worrying, decided to go through my entire following list on twitter and try to see if they had a tumblr or art station to follow in case Twitter really does truly burn to the ground.

Yippie! ive hit the point of worrying that im now actually scrolling through every person i follow to see if they have a Tumblr or Art Station or w/e the fuck

I ended up finishing this last night... all 1,527 people i follow... absolutely deranged behavior... but now i have the peace of mind that i follow a decent chunk on another social media...

I wont lie everything thats been going on with [Twitter] because of HIM is legitimately deeply concerning to me... No other social media works like Twitter does for artists seeking employment... Like i know im not popular [on Twitter], but it widens the base to connect with others

and having said base immensely increases job prospects. Literally my friend recently got a job with the assistance of Twitter connections (and i couldnt be happier for them). Its a very real thing, and unfortunately to my knowledge, no other true social media has anything similar

Like sure you could make the case that its on Art Station or LinkedIn too but to me those are far too professional and more just "gallery sites". Same with deviant art and New Grounds those are also just gallery sites I have a gallery, its my portfolio website.

I think if things really do go to shit, I of course still wont delete my twitter... but any actual interaction with people will be greatly reduced and mostly move to tumblr, even though my following is way tinier [on Tumblr]... It'll mostly become "i just share art [on Twitter] and thats it"

I know people are making Lists and such to keep track of people but like... when a site is becoming actively hostile to you for not spending money on it??? i dont want to spend my time here...

again this isnt the "im leaving cya bye forever" post im still sticking around till everything truly burns to the ground... but i definitely needed to set up alternate places to share my work far sooner (other than instagram cause lord i hate insta)

If thoughts do end up getting shared [on Twitter] after everything (stuff like this) itll probably just be crossposted from tumblr since it has a button to post to twitter (idk how it works though lol)

I know following doesnt matter as much here on Tumblr (the site literally does not show your follower count to anyone but you)... but i genuinely hope i can get back to even my small twitter numbers... Like dont worry im not a massive clout chaser or anything...

but posting into a void to only receive interactions in the single digits really does fucking sting.

He iz a bigender butch bisexual ^u^ He/they. Lyla is a transfem xenogender femme lesbian who uses she/doll/🍓/🫐!! ANDDD also saige has a younger sibling Mylo who uses xe/xir :3 i havent decided xir specific identity but xe’s in a very lesbian relationship and i 🧡 xir partners .. i will not get into them unless asked cuz they dont play a huge role here . Potential sequel material ig 💗🧡💛💚💙💜

Saige + mylo have Shitty parents and thats a whole thing but one of the main parts of the story is !! this lil game that they play as a coping mechanism — where theyve kind of assigned each other a signature creature and will . Joke around in that space?? refer to each other as such? It’s . a nice family thing just for them alone IM ALWAYS VERY BAD AT EXPLAINING IT EVERY TIME 💔 but .. siblings :] Saige is a ghost n mylo is an alien

Lyla and saige r pitted against each other (← used lightly) @ school cuz of their “opposite aesthetics” Which they rlly rlly dont ….get?!?! Whats opposite abt them . Something something that meme where it says u have more in common w someone who wears all pink/all black than someone w a “plain” style. YKNOW.,,, and so they get to talking a bit more and i haven’t decided how they begin dating yet but they do and i love them so fuckin much 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Lyla , after being accepted by mylo ofc, gets her own gimmick and becomes the princess :D BUT UHJNKBJG. Eventually she realizes shes nonbinary n sort of goes spiraling :[ Saige n lyla r both autistic BTW (probably all the others too ❤️ but this is whats important Naow). And lyla doesnt like change a whole lot, she doesnt want things to be Different with this family that she has now, despite not feeling very comfortable w the princess label anymore ,,and shes not very comfortable in her identity as a whole INCLUDING da autism

it’s !!! a journey for sure but lyla is so unconditionally loved n supported and she really comes into her own and accepts her passions and interests and weird gender feelings !!!! Starts dressing up VERY cool as well which is highly important 💛💛 she loves fun fruit patterns (SPECIAL INTEREST - i have to learn so many fruit facts on her behalf im working on it.)

saige gets the means to move out nd takes mylo w him. eventually lyla joins them :3 even more eventually, when xe’s ready, mylo moves out w all the support in the WORLD from the lovebirds. And then theyre having this conversation,, like

It turns out saige’s ghost gimmick was 99% based on his dissociation that they didn’t really know was a Thing, but therapy n support n time away from parents he’s a lot better now! ♡ i havent decided his new gimmick, but it’s different ♡♡

lyla’s gimmick has shifted to like,, a mixture of things instead of one Solid identity and it makes her so much happier, very freeing, very Fun and indicative of the things she loves!!!!!!!!!!!! Fruit bat ..vampire..funny little colorful friend :] YOUKNOW!! ❤️❤️💙💙 goddd i love her so much shes ymmbaby

AND THEN MYLO. MYLO was the ONLY one to stick to xir og gimmick. Xe’s adored neon green xir whole fucking life. (OH N both sibs r punk ofc it isn’t all abt fashion but in those terms saige is more casual and mylo goes ALL OUT .) so they get to talking, joking, as mylo is moving out — this tender lil heartfelt conversation where saige is kind of awed and feeling fond,, like,,,, how did you do it? how did you keep such a strong sense of self all that tiem (even back there)? AND MYLO CITES having rlly supportive lesbian parents . And it takes a second for the couple to process but they really really cry Whbjbhjgmfk .. !!!!!! ITS JUST SO . I HEART THEM

the amount of times i had to pause my reading session for the friendmas chap bc the more i read the more my heart broke and im too fragile to read it all in one go🥲💔 but hoon’s secret santa present for yn omg that was the most beautiful and thoughtful gift ever and the fact that it was hoon’s peace offering to finally put an end to all this enemy stuff made me so 🥺🥺 AND HIM WRITING THE CARD IN JAPANESE TOO!! i know our hearts have to hurt for a bit but im so excited to see soft and fluffy hoonie w/ yn and vise versa like they are each other’s person❤️‍🩹

now i don’t want to talk about the interaction with riki’s mom but i’m going to talk about it — what a witch!!! the fact that she could even sleep at night after knowing what she did to sunghoon & yn’s friendship is so unsettling to me like they were so young :(( and when hoon asked “what letter?” i swear i got so silent and had to stare blankly into my wall to process my heart shattering into a million pieces. like how they treated each other for the past decade was built off of a huge misunderstanding caused by none other than that witch of a mother/stepmother, i swear when i catch her!!!!! and yn giving up her dream for riki :(( she loves him so much and so does he like i cant even imagine riki’s emotions finding something out like that. also with yn too like she carried such a burden for the longest time to make her brother happy i’m so :(( they deserve a happy ending too and knowing that their “family” can never come near and hurt them ever again makes my heart so content😭❤️‍🩹

the nishimuras have such a special place in my heart 🥺❤️‍🩹 i don’t have any siblings so i like to indulge in her character a bit and their closeness is just something that pieced my broken heart from the friendmas chapter back together🫶🏻
