I saw a tiktok comment that said "It's super interesting that Rhaenys is like the only person Rhaenyra actually fears" and it is something I've picked up on. It is really interesting because Rhaenyra usually has this dominant energy about her and that fades away quite a lot when she speaks either of Rhaenys or directly to her. It's very evident in the garden scene in episode 8 especially, Rhaenyra tends to ask rather than order when it comes to Rhaenys and she looks slightly visibly terrified (though it's well hidden) when Rhaenys steps towards her and says her piece.

Rhaenyra doesn't act like that around her father or Daemon, nor any of the other adult characters, but Rhaenys seems to have this effect on her and I could probably talk about it forever but I'll spare you all. I personally think, though, that Rhaenyra has a certain deep sense of respect for Rhaenys and I think that developed after their scene in episode 2.

I am very fortunate that my experience with fanfiction and the fanfiction (obikin) community has been pretty much all positive ❤️ 

There are so many instances that I will always remember - I’ve had so many wonderful interactions on socials and on ao3. I am thankful for anyone who finds me worthy of their time to communicate with. I am thankful for anyone who engages with my posts on all platforms- whether it’s the fashion ones, the holiday ones, or just games and Asks like this! And of course, I am thankful for those who encourage me in my writing projects with their comments and kudos, etc. ❤️ 

BUT if I had to pick one moment that stands out, it would have to be when a reader commented on a fic asking if they could create a fanart. Y’all know I have commissioned many incredible artists for Streets of Gold, but I had never had anyone contact me about an illustration all on their own. Considering fanart is what brought me to fanfic, this was the ultimate goal - the far-fetched dream! I was literally running around the house like a giddy child when I received the comment. It brought me so much joy that my story would spark enough emotion to invoke creativity.
