Ok, first of all, Fjord looks so worried from the get go as he asks Jester if Lucien/Cree was speaking to her directly.
And when she confirms it he does this little grumpy sigh
He no like it. No like it at all.
Fjord: Does it seem like he’s keying in on you in particular?

HOPING FJORD WOULD GET PROTECTIVE OVER JESTER CONSTANTLY GETTING SCRIED ON/MESSAGED BY LUCIEN BUT I DIDN’T THINK TRAVIS WAS ACTUALLY GOING TO DELIVER

Ok anyway he goes on about how when they see someone else scrying it’s usually just a representation of the spell and wonders if Lucien is more powerful and therefor can see the person
and then he makes a pause mid-argument
because Jester makes this face and he realizes this is upsetting her, so he quickly backtracks trying to reassure her.
Fjord: I’m sure it’s just coincidence but...
and here’s where the idea comes and god how long has he been thinking about this???
Fjord: since we’re not in the sea... would you... want to wear this?
YES HELLO DO YOU SEE THE PARALLELS TO THAT ONE TIME HE WANTED TO GIVE HER AN EXTRA POWERFUL HEALING POTION TO MAKE SURE SHE WOULD BE SAFE??? PROTECTIVE FJORD PARALLELS!!!
and then he just brushes off the fact that he’s a huge Uk’otoa beacon everytime they are on water —baby, you died once already, don’t act like it’s whatever???
Fjord: maybe it would provide some protection if we were to keep checking in on him?
Jester: I mean... it’s worth a try.
Of course, as she points out, Lucien has already met all of them and he could just as easily scry on any of the M9 if he wanted to, but that’s not really what Fjord is worried about, what is bothering him. Fjord knew Lucien was watching and it’s not the first time they are scried on, but he makes it clear that he’s concerned about how centered on Jester that’s been lately.
Jester: Maybe it’ll keep me from getting seen next time I scry on him?
Fjord: I guess we’ll find out next time we try it.
The way he chuckles softly, trying to defuse the tension, and she smiles back even though this subject clearly has her nervous??? 11/10

Jester: should I ask him if it’s okay?

Whereas before he could’ve hide his concern as something tactical, something useful that made sense and could help their mission... or could’ve hidden behind group speech to disguise his concern...

here he is straight up saying “I am worried about you”
(quietly hopes Lucien does exactly that to trigger more protective fjord instincts in the future and lots of angst based shippy shenaingans)

Also I wanna talk about the way Jester brings up Avantika.
Jester: She tried to pull you into the water... you guys had a thing... it must have been weird to see her all kinda dead and stuff... was it weird? And then you killed her... again...
The way she calls them “a thing” and the way she checks if it was “weird” for him to see her as undead really says a lot to me. I think Jester never quite got over the heartbreak during the pirate arc and part of her probably still thought that Fjord harbored some sort of feelings or attraction towards Avantika.
I think she believes whatever they two had was far more intimate than it actually was. Or, at the very least, Jester thinks it must have meant something to Fjord.
How could she not? The whole thing had her bursting with jealousy and pain and unresolved feelings... you can tell how anxious she is around this subject but also she needs to know if he’s alright because she cares too much
Fjord: It was weird. Yeah, it was weird, for sure. I wasn’t expecting that...
HE DOESN’T EVEN REGISTER IT AS AN “EX” THING I SWEAR
Fjord: I’m alright.
And so she finally relaxes.
Fjord: It feels like I keep trying to start newer chapters in my life and leave the old stuff behind and then it just... keeps popping up.
Fjord: It feels like it’s hard to... pursue something new, when the past is not dealt with.

I love the way he rushes to reassure her, to make sure she knows that what she just did for him is amazing and means so much and please jester do not be sad about this because this already means so much to me you have no ideaaaaaa

Jester: You’re welcome! Now you know!
Fjord, with more feeling and emotion behind it like he wants to tell her that she and everything she does for him out of love mean the entire universe to him: Thank you.
Jester, blissfully unaware that he’s in love with him but delighted that she was able to help and that he is letting her in enough to help deal with his past: You’re welcome! I’m glad I could help!
Fjord, still not over how good she is and how diametrically different her kindness is compared to everything else he’s known in life so far and still after these many months shook and surprised by how wonderful she is: That’s very nice of you, I-

OKAY here it is breakdown/rant over the rh apology.
bright side is looking up the waste of a tweet led me to see SEVERAL ah members reactions (presumably, they were pretty understandably vague tweeting) and they were so funny fdksal;fa;
anyways. back to the angry and depressing stuff. (under a read more ofc)
tl;dr: it was incredibly narcissistic and had some pretty clear hallmarks of complete manipulation. but like, i cannot stress enough. the narcisissm
these past few days have been a difficult time
okay, starting off strong, basic, and lame. pretty usual call to sympathy (boo hoo things have been hard for me)
but also, a little hidden here and VERY manipulative, is that he’s starting off with a relatable statement. “difficult time” yeah they sure fucking have been. anyone else saying that, we would all agree! it’s a textbook way to start off manipulation
without knowing exactly where to start...
ooooh here is where it starts getting interesting: this is what i like to call “anti-ethos” so in argumentative stuff, ethos is basically the plea to respect/authority/competence/etc. but this right here is the OPPOSITE of that... so what does THAT mean?
basically, it’s there as both a cop-out and another, subtler plea for understanding. “please be nice to me” it begs “i don’t know what i’m doing.” it’s a simple, one sentence way to buy yourself some leeway when you know what you’re abt to say isn’t the best. it’s like having to present in class and starting with a “well, i’m not entirely sure this is what was wanted....” it gains allowance from your audience in a sneaky kind of way
i want to say that i know i let a lot of people down, including those that i am closest too
textbook. it’s all so textbook it’s almost boring. the move here is he’s made himself look like he’s taking accountability and apologizing without doing EITHER of those things. also, look at those fantastic i-statements. “i want, i know, i let, i am” it’s just all about him, like always
also, great shoutout to the general language there: who did he let down? who is he closest too? it’s so incredibly vague. ALSO the way he says “let people down” is textbook downplay-- he doesn’t say what he did and phrases it to sound small, like a mistake rather than... what it is.
this is what i regret the most.
i think this was SUPPOSED to be a like, nice short statement that would hit hard. usually you only do short sentences like that when you’re sure they’re going to affect your audience? but like. this doesn’t work AT ALL which is why i’m prettyyyyyy sure there’s some narcisissm or smthn like that at play here
seriously, it just falls INCREDIBLY flat. letting down ppl you know is what you regret the most? not, y’know, DOING it? like jesus CHRIST. notice how he doesn’t apologize or say he regrets the actions once in this entire thing?? he just focuses on how the consequences have affected him. disgusting.
i take full accountability for the way i’ve conducted myself over these past years.
once again, he REFUSES to say what he’s done!! just talking himself around it. and using “conducted” there...... it’s written as though it’s all abt him, like, being a little creepy. it’s not abt how he “conducted” himself it’s abt how he GROOMED AND RAPED PPL!!
it was unfair to those i have hurt, unfair to my friends in the community, and most importantly -- unfair to my family
“unfair” is once again downplaying it, my friend. but i do think there’s a little bit of an attempt at ethos here..... by throwing in his “friends in the community” where he doesn’t have to, he’s reminding everyone who he is -- that he was, as of a couple days ago, revered. loved. looked up to.
also, bringing up his family to illicit sympathy for it. he’s STILL pushing this image of a “family man” and it’s DISGUSTING bc after all this, he’s made it very clear he doesn’t really care abt them at all

i agreed with this on first read and wasn’t going to comment on it but then i realized that’s what this part was meant for. it gives a break in talking abt things most ppl dislike him for, and makes you (the reader) AGREE with him, briefly. therefore, you form a comradery. this is argumentative essay 101: don’t start with the hard stuff, start somewhere everyone agrees and work from there.
as for providing clarity to my mistakes, i would like to state: i never set out to hurt anyone
calling them mistakes again, you know how i feel about that. also, the “providing clarity” part is so strange. once again he’s framing it like he’s getting ready to write an excuse, like he’s exonerating himself by saying he never “set out” to hurt ppl
i flirted with and had sexual relations with members of the community
notice how he doesn’t address anything other than that. all he owns up to is flirting and sex. he doesn’t address the age gaps, the money, the rape -- nothing. and look at what he calls them: members of the community. that he makes it so general and broad means it’s CERTAIN there’s far more victims than have come forward.
i am continually saddened to learn that my actions have contributed to anyone’s pain, especially as my interactions, as inappropriate as they were, always came from a place of what i thought was a shared connection
this is just. So Much. in one sentence. first things first: this sounds like a robot wrote it?? or someone who never experienced human emotions?? like seriously. saddened??? saddened was the best word you could come up with for that??? like. try horrified, floored, distraught, but SADDENED?? it just goes to show how UTTERLY disconnected he is
and then!!! we get to the meat!!!!!! he says “contributed” instead of “caused,” alleviating himself of some responsibility and throwing subtle shadows on the girls who have come forward -- basically “well. they’re all a bit off in the head” in fewer words. also, using “interactions” there is just so fucking strange as well. you weren’t “interacting” with them. he said what he was doing (at least loosely) earlier in the paragraph, so once again he’s DOWNPLAYING IT
THEN there comes the SHARED CONNECTION. HOOOOOBOY. i have a theory on what this shared connection could be.................. love of fucking ryan haywood. bc it’s becoming more and more clear that ryan really, really loves himself. wtf else could he have possibly believed he shared with these victims??? i cannot see it.
i apologize for all the hurt i’ve caused... i may never redeem myself, but i am taking steps to be a better person
okay sorry most of that paragraph was pointless so i’ve cut it. here, in the final statements, we get down to it.... the real kicker... have you seen it yet? well, i’ll tell you: he didn’t fucking apologize for what he did. TEXTBOOK, TEXTBOOK, TEXTBOOK NON-APOLOGY. HOLY SHIT. he apologizes for the “HURT HE’S CAUSED” like waaaa baby }i’m so sorry you got hurt. not sorry i did it tho lol”
AND THEN: the one, final appeal to sympathy. the pledge to do better. doesn’t matter if it’s true, EVERYONE wants to better themselves in some way, so EVERYONE can relate to this!! everyone wants to do better and be better and he’s playing on those basic human emotions to illicit sympathy. GROSS.
basically, this was one of the most narcissistic, stupid things i’ve had to read in a while and I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS GUY IS STILL ON TWITTER HOLY SHIT.
at it’s most basic form:
he mentions himself (says i, my, etc): 37 times
mentions mistakes/accountability/unfair: 13 times
mentions his family/friends/community: 11 times
mentions the other victims: 3 times
...see the problem?

hey I need to rant so please read and let me know what you think in the replies but please dont reblog

welp just had an hour-and-half long political discussion with my mom, prompted by me asking her why she said in a FB post that she "didn't think any riots would happen if Biden won" in response to the Capitol fiasco today, to which I pointed out the long history of white supremacy violence and after which a long discussion about Trump and the US ensued. My mother, who is so convinced that she has to be a "peacemaker", prides herself on her "open-mindedness" and refusal take sides... that is, of course, until she obviously is on the conservative side and calls me a baby murderer, to my face. :///////
after I told her that I refused to emotionally manipulated like that and that my views on abortion (and how to stop it) were much more complicated and intricate than that name suggested, she got mad that I didn't follow the church's word-for-word views on the subject. guess i shouldn't come out anytime soon then, considering I am completely at-odds with the church on that one.
we also had a long discussion on what we wish the US looked like and how we think we could be the most christlike, and it is unbearably frustrating how close to being progressive she is. (my father too). they're both conservative-raised, grew up in the cold war and the after-effects of McCarthyism, and when you get down to the brass tacks of what they believe... I would expect them to be a Bernie Sanders supporter. but no!
my father is too entrenched in conspiracies on whether or not the Democrats are actually satan-worshipping blood drinkers, and my mother is too emotionally tied to not only being "Little Miss Perfect Peacemaker" for her conservative family, but is also so blindly devoted to conservative beliefs without realizing where she diverges from them!
my mother also got very personally offended when I said I didn't like Reagan. she asked why and I simply said that there was a "laundry list" of reasons and that I was unwilling to get into it. AIDS was obviously my biggest gripe, but I knew that I would get too emotional thinking about all those that my community lost (at the fault of Reagan's deliberate negligence) and would therefore (likely) out myself.
I didnt think it was good to be outed at that moment.
overall I feel emotionally drained and frustrated. my mother has told me so many times (especially when I was in a deep depression and therefore irritable and argumentative) that if i don't want to be her daughter, that I don't have to be. that I could leave her and my family behind, because that is my choice. but then, in a moment of delicious irony, if I don't follow her views uniformly (perhaps not in politics but DEFINITELY in religion), then I have wounded her.
she simultaneously puts forward this image when we argue that either A) she doesn't actually care about me that much and that if I just up-and-left, she'd be fine because kids up-and-leaving are just a fact of life...
or B) that I am a chore to raise but that it is Her Cross to Bear and that she must love me and keep me in her life, as utterly unbearable as that must be.
so, in her mind, I am either irrelevant or a burden, but not someone she could potentially listen to and learn from?
I am SO EXHAUSTED. I have felt a push from the spirit over and over within the past couple months that I need to come out, and be a light and to speak out... and a feeling that I need to get my patriarchal blessing because God has an important work for me, but I am terrified.
how can I come out now? my mother has shown herself to be completely in lockstep with whatever the church/prophet does, my father doesn't really care, my ward/stake is homophobic as F*CK, and my church is being torn apart by assholes who hate me for being who I am!
what am I supposed to do now?

Summary: You have a supernatural and rare bond with the Fire nation heir that is beyond anything you’ve ever known... only neither you or he knows it yet. His mission to capture the avatar is the exact opposite to yours - to help them. You’ll do whatever it takes. But so will he.

The prophecy
It was freezing.
So cold it almost like nature wanted to fight back in the less destructive and therefore limited ways it could.
But it would be to no avail.
Iroh supposed the Water tribe people were used to it - the chilly, bitter weather.
He personally couldn’t stand it, much preferring a warm evening to relax in, and would be glad when he and his nephew eventually moved further down south to continue the chase.
Iroh sighed, warming up his quickly cooling cup of tea. He had known from the beginning that this mission was barbaric. Nearly impossible, even.
However there was something else Iroh had had his mind on. A prediction, a prophecy, that had been niggling around the back of his mind ever since it had been uttered to him.
It was almost 3 years ago now that his nephew and his crew were boarding the ship they would take for the perilous quest. People had come to see them off, give encouraging words and parting gifts.
Iroh had been the last to arrive, though only by a few minutes. Most of the small crowd had dissipated anyway, finding better things to do.
But there were two distinct people waiting for him whose presence made him wary.
Lo and Li.
“On the day the skies flow like blood,” one said.
“Our prince’s emotions will start to flood.” Came from the other.
“Time he now has to learn to hate,”
“And he will, until a special date...”
“When he meets his Spiritmate,” they chorused.
Iroh tried to act indifferent on the outside but on the inside, he was shocked to his core. A Spiritmate? That could complicate things.
He settled for narrowing his eyes in suspicion at the pair of crazy old bats. He had never liked them and steered away from them whenever it physically possible. But this was his nephew they were talking about. And a potential Spiritmate of his.
“Where will they meet?” he had hissed quietly.
The two siblings looked smugly at Iroh before replying.
“Before a fight on icy terrain.”
“And that is all we are able to say.”
Iroh shook himself out of his flashback and exhaled slowly, mentally preparing himself for the next day.
It would be an interesting one, that was for sure.

Earlier before...
“The Fire Nation won’t win this fight (y/n).”
Your eyes widened comically at Zuko’s words. It was common knowledge between all nations that opposition of any kind was not tolerated in the Fire Nation by its citizens - the punishment for doing so was long term imprisonment.
“H-how can you tell?” you faltered.
He glanced away from you pensively, looking towards the shadowed alcoves of the courtyard.
“I just have a feeling,” Zuko replied. “Make sure you meet me and my uncle after, he’ll tell us what he knows.”
I guess I don’t really have much of choice here... What if his uncle doesn’t know anything about them? What will we do?
His amber eyes locked back onto yours, awaiting your response.
“Okay...” you agreed. The quicker you could get this thing removed, the quicker things would go back to being normal. Semi-normal at least. Little did you know how mistaken you were.
You sighed heavily before burying your head into Zuko’s coat for a second time, relishing in the constant warmth that emanated from his body.
Never before had you felt so relaxed than you did now and you had a strong feeling that Zuko felt the same.
For a long time the two of you stood in each other’s arms, savouring the peaceful moment you had found yourselves in, both not wanting to disturb it.
But eventually, it had to be done.

“Be safe, Zuko,” you murmured into his chest.
Just as you were about to pull away, Zuko’s arm snaked around your waist and before you had time to react, your body was abruptly pulled flush against his.
A gasp escaped from you.
A smirk from him.
And ever so slowly, he began to lean forward, the tip of his nose brushing yours.
Your arms proceeded to slither up and around his neck, connecting at the nape before your lips met his for a passion-filled kiss.

He was absolutely revolted. Furious. Scarred for life.
How dare this Fire Nation scum have the nerve to even think about touching her. She was his. No one else’s. She belonged to him. No arguments.
She was his and he was hers and that’s how it always would be. He had always loved her.
Ever since she had stood up to his bullies for him once when they were 7, Ali had loved her. She was strong, clever, beautiful and kind. What was there not to love about her?
Admittedly, most of this loving was done from afar but that was irrelevant. He regretted that she didn’t know what his true feelings for her were but that probably didn’t matter. Ali figured she probably felt the same for him and was too shy to say anything - just like he was.
He watched over her, was her protector at all times - just like she was for him once. Even when she slept. But that wasn’t creepy. If anything, it made his love for her grow, witnessing all the cute things she did unconsciously. Like when she would mumble things in her slumber or dribble onto her pillow.
She was the only person who could make him lost for words, make him nervous. She piqued his curiosity.
Despite this, Ali still couldn’t comprehend how his flower, his rose, his love had wound up in this shithead’s arms. Spirits above, she looked like she was enjoying it. No... that wasn’t possible... the son of a bitch keeping her captive probably manipulated her and she was confused. Or she was pretending she liked it so he wouldn’t hurt her. Ali’s lip curled up in disgust.
Poor baby. His poor, poor baby.
But why this bastard was even here in the first place, Ali simply couldn’t work out.
Her beauty was so great, Ali thought, it managed to lure him out... Yes that sounded about right. He sighed inwardly. After they’d get married he’d have to lock her away forever, keep her from people like this vile, wretched, fire nation piece of dirt. It would be cruel but it would be for her own good. He would be keeping her safe. Unlike this slob here - he didn’t even know that they were being watched. He didn’t know how to keep her safe.
Ali’s fists tightened by his sides. He ought to send him running back to his ship with the rest of his coward nation buddies, more like. Too afraid to fight while the moon was bright. Cowards.
Relief flooded through him when the object of his desire began to move away from the slimy thing. But it was not even a second later that the desperate shit had his arms wrapped around her - again - and rather suddenly since his pearl had let out a fearful squeak.
Ali fought the urge to shoot an icicle through his head. Whether the head was his own or the other man’s, he didn’t know. Honestly, he didn’t mind whose it was at this point.
Temporarily engrossed in his thoughts, Ali focused onto them again, only to find the pair lip locked for the umpteenth time.
His stomach roiled violently, causing bile to rise into his throat and that’s when Ali knew - he was going to murder him.
He had overheard their plans for her to meet him somewhere - where that place was, Ali didn’t know. But he’d follow her. Just like he’d been doing for years.
And with that last thought, Ali shrank further into the courtyard’s dark crevices, eager to plot his plan.

I'm the anon who wrote about the reality-AU ask.
And I have a different view from what you wrote, because for me there where 2 major things:
1. Reader wasn't a strong woman
2. Harry was definitely an arrogant, selfish prick to reader.
I will start with 1.
So, what moral and values? I honestly don't understand that part because for me moral and values mean one thing and I don't see they fitting the situation.
Regardless, MC wasn't a strong woman for several reasons.
She allowed her pain get in the way of her child's life several times, she literally got with the first guy that showed her love when she wasn't ready nor emotionally stable, if we take in mind that she met him at halfway through her pregnancy and in 2 years ish she was already living with him and allowing her child to call him "dad". So she clinged to Connor as a substitute and staple to the family she had planned having with Harry, just like Harry clinged to Camille's offer as a way to have what he dreamed having with Y/N. None of them put their child's best interest first, otherwise she would have found a way to deal with her pain while allowing him to be part of Halo's life and he would have found a way to accept that he would never have what he wanted bc of his mistakes in the past.
And the clearest sign of that is her conversation with Harry in the last chapter. She did love Connor, but he was only there because Harry blocked her. If he hadn't, he'd have seen the text and be involved in his kids life. So, I know you said something about being emotionally available as a parent and that's my argument for that. Harry wasn't emotionally a dad bc that chance was taken from him out of spitefulness and he still tried to be there, he made a mistake but he never gave up. He was robbed of it countless times bc MC was never healed properly to let go of her personal feelings and focus on Halo, bc I can guarantee you that if given the chance, Halo would forget it and choose to have a relationship with Harry.
Which brings me to my previous point... He wasn't Halos dad, MC made him her dad because she didn't want to deal with Harry when she knew that he had a right to at least be informed about the baby, regardless of her relationship with him. In the story you make it known that he blocked her and that's how she couldn't tell him, but she kept in touch with his family + he contacted her at some point. So, she uses her own actions against him and he let's her out of guilty, showing a bit of manipulation from her side. Both of them were toxic and manipulative. Just bc you were hurt, doesn't give you a right to act as you please, speacially when a child is involved. That shouldn't even be put to argument and I'd have agreed with you more if you hadn't tried to classify MC as a victim at all costs, even when she was the wrong one.
If this was real life, a girl behaving like her would be concerning, so why in a fanfic she's considered strong? Because she standed up for herself and for her daughter? I mean, did she truly stand up for her child? Can we truly say that? Or did she allow her own barriers and insecurities surround them and keep Harry distant? Wouldn't a healed and strong woman be capable of dealing with her ex for their's daughter sake, speacially when she's in a happy and healthy relationship?
Parents are allowed mistakes. None of them know what they're doing and the greatest majority of the world is filled with people who weren't mature enough to be parents, yet somehow were allowed to.
She was unfair and subconsciously used her child to get back at Harry for all the pain he caused her.
He left her, so she didn't tell him about their baby, then when he found out she monopolised his entire relationship with his daughter and did some pretty illegal stuff, and when he committed his first mistake with the child she cut him off completely without taking in account what her daughter wanted.
Have you watched the show The Duchess on Netflix? I think its a great example of my point here, in case you don't understand it.
Also, forgot to say that she was toxic again when she kept threatening him over wanting to be with his kid. Like, we spend tons of times telling people to be responsible with their art, as it can be a door into introducing kids to things. We also spend a ton of time telling boys that they should care about their babies and be there for them. Then you come and write a fic where the guy gets threatened and manipulated when trying to be with his 🤷🏻♀️
MC definitely had her right to commit her own mistakes, as I said, parents will do it countless times. But I think that's a bit unfair that she gets as many as she wants bc she got hurt previous to baby being born, yet Harry barely gets one when trying to figure himself out after finding out about his kid. You mentioned that a judge would never give Harry any custody bc of what he did and that was a bit dumb, sorry. Law is based on justice, balance and protecting the victim with fairness and justice, therefore Harry would have been granted at least the benefit of the doubt as his mistakes were minor and the victim in this story is Halo, not MC✌🏽

Morals and values are not fitting in the situation.
Morals are personal beliefs that a person upholds and values are something that are regarded as important. I think that everybody uses them in most of the things they do so they definitely fit the situation.
She literally got with the first guy that showed her love...
I wouldn’t say that MC clung unto Connor and got into a relationship with him right away. The first couple of instances—they were just friends and weren’t officially together until Reign.
None of them put their child’s best interest first // Reader wasn’t a strong woman
I agree that both parties didn’t act on the best interest of their child but that doesn’t necessarily mean that MC wasn’t a strong woman. Sure, she wasn’t ideal in the context of being a mother—but she mended herself enough to give Harry a chance when he found out, even setting up limits while she was at it.
Wouldn’t you think that that takes courage? Besides the preceding fact that it is courteous to tell someone that you’re having their baby (no argument there), especially to someone who has cheated and betrayed your trust, you are sweeping the pain away. MC was letting Harry back in even if she personally didn’t want to. Harry was a huge part of her life so I think reminiscing on their relationship would never cease; they have a kid together. All the good and bad of their time together will always be present in her mind.
Harry was robbed [of being a dad]
You think that Harry was robbed of being a Dad, I can’t convince you otherwise. You said it yourself though, ‘if Harry hadn’t blocked MC, he would’ve seen the text and he would’ve been a dad to Halo’.
But he did—and the following points of your argument are, in a sense, irrelevant because what you’re pointing out is what could’ve happened if Harry didn’t do what he did. These are the consequences of his actions. “He blearily remembered bitterly blocking her number just as she texted “I need to tell you something,” <- That scene was the turning point of MC’s decision and frankly, a showcase of Harry’s immaturity. MC said she had something to tell him and he retaliated by blocking her.
As well, you mention, ‘if given the chance, Halo would forget about it’—there’s a lot of assumptions in your argument because these aren’t part of the original story. These are what you think should’ve happened.
He blocked her [...] but she kept in touch with his family
MC kept in touch with his family on the pretext that they wouldn't inform harry that the baby was his. This was because of a misunderstanding due to a post on Camille's IG page. H seemed happy with his new relationship. MC didn't NOT tell him out of SPITE—it was because she didn't want to ruin his relationship with Camille.
Harry contacted her at some point // Just because you’re hurt doesn’t give you the right to act as you please
Yes, Harry did contact her—to call her a ‘whore’ and stated that she ‘probably slept around’ during their relationship. [ie. Harry: Why not? Scared that y’gonna have to admit that everything you put on was an act? How can y’move on so fast and give me shit about it?”] I’m guessing that’s probably not the best way for H to ask about MC’s pregnancy and I can imagine that the sheer rudeness and projection will deter most people.
His dialogues were an attack on her personality (that she was a liar and disloyal), on the validity of her emotions (that she was faking them), and on her identity as woman solely because he was crumbling under the truth that he was the one who messed up. I mentioned before that Harry’s insults were a projection as a result of his defence mechanism. Meaning that he was—to some extent—aware that MC hadn’t cheated but convinced himself otherwise to feel less guilty. Therefore, at the end of Halo, he judged the credibility of their child.
If this was real life...
And this is a fanfiction.
Once again, MC might not have been the ideal representation of a strong woman, but she stepped up when Halo was introduced.
Imagine going through a break-up with your SO of two years while you’re pregnant because he went behind your back FOR A YEAR, amidst hormonal changes, still going to work, and trying to find yourself when someone has taken so much of you—that’s traumatizing. Healing isn’t linear. Just because you’re wounded doesn’t mean that you’re not strong.

MC was honest but she wasn’t truthful. Her intentions were human nature yet keeping Halo away from Harry wasn’t very truthful of her—in legalities and such.
I don’t think MC monopolized H/H’s relationship. She gave Harry a chance to bond with Halo, and they did. As mentioned, MC had set limits and boundaries when discussing Harry’s presence in their daughters’ life. It was a legally binding, word-of-mouth, agreement that Harry assented to.

In that sense, Harry’s hostility towards MC in Reign was threatening her decision to have him around [ie. You’re not something I would take the time to handle,” // You’re a goddamn mistake is what you are,’]
I understand your concern and I apologize for that. I’m not explicitly saying that this one piece of fiction is satirical in the sense that it’s the opposite of what society chants because that would be vile of me to do. Every circumstance is different though—it really is a choice of preference, validation and weighing out the subject matter.
You mentioned that a ‘judge would never give Harry custody’ and that was a bit dumb...
That line was never part of the story.
"Take it up legally if you'd like. Want to have a custody battle? Bring it on. Let's see whose side the judge is on after they find out that you cheated on me while I was pregnant with Halo."
Suggesting that the conclusion can be one of shared-custody wherein MC has more time with Halo (80/20 visitation schedule).

Back to School Sleep Tips : Help Your Child be ready (2021)
Alright, let me just start off here by saying, no judgment for what might have gone down in the last couple of months.
I know… I’m a child sleep consultant and you may think that I’m going to tell you off for the late bedtimes, inconsistent schedules, or any of the many naughty things that may have taken place over your summer holidays and during lock down.
But I get it. I really do.
I’m a mother myself and I know how precious these summer months are. You want to squeeze every minute of joy and togetherness you can from these glorious days. If it’s a choice between consistent bedtimes and staying up to watch as a family to watch Netflicks
That’s no choice at all.
So no matter what might have happened over the summer holidays and during lock down, all is forgiven. The mission now is to get your child back on track so that they can get back to sleep at a reasonable hour the day now they have gone back to school.
So I hope you’ll keep reading without fear of any finger wagging or talk of what you should have done differently.
I promise you, it’s not in here.
Set a Time For Bed and Stick to it
So first things first. What time should your kids be going to bed? Well, a lot of parents I work with are surprised to hear that I recommend somewhere between 7:00pm and 8:00pm at night.
They’re even more surprised when I tell them that I suggest they keep that bedtime until their child is about 12 years old.
There are two reasons why I think kids should be in bed, and by that I mean sleeping, by 8:00 at night.
1 – Kids Need SleepFirst, kids need at least 10 hours of sleep a night.
An extra hour or two on top of that is never a bad thing, but you obviously have to make those adjustments based on your own observations.
Regardless, if your toddler needs to be up by 7:00 A.M. in order to get ready for school, they should be asleep by 9:00 at the latest.
Factor in the time it takes them to get to sleep after they get into bed, plus the inevitable request for a glass of water or a totally silly insistence that they need to use the toilet half an hour after you close their door, and 8:00 is pretty much the latest they can get to bed and still get the sleep they need.
2 – Mummy and Daddy Time
Second, you, as a parent, and your partner if there’s one in the picture, need to exist child-free for a few hours a day. You need to be able to watch TV with swear words and sexual innuendo, to be able to eat some junk food without fear of being spotted, to just do grown-up things and to recharge those parenting batteries.
It’s vital to your relationship with your partner and with your kids.
Alright, so now that we know when to put our kids to bed, let’s move on to the significantly more difficult issue of how.
Don’t leave it to the last minute.
If they’ve been going to bed at around 9:00 for the better part of their holidays, try moving bedtime up by about 15 minutes every 4 days until you’re back to their normal bedtime.
If this requires a little deception on your part by adjusting the clocks in their room, you just go ahead and get deceptive. Sometimes the ends really do justify the means.
Establish a Bedtime Routine
If you had an effective bedtime routine before your summer holidays and the pandemic threw everything into upheaval, then try to re-implement it as much as possible.
Familiarity will definitely help your child settle back into the schedule quicker and with less resistance than trying out something new.
On the other hand, if this is your first go at implementing a bedtime routine, let me just stress how much easier a repetitive, predictable bedtime routine can make your life.
When your child’s body and brain start to associate things like baths, stories, brushing teeth, putting on PJs, all done in the same order at the same time every night, it cues up their melatonin production, making sleep come easier.
I seriously can’t recommend bedtime routines highly enough.
Use a Timer
Of course, things like baths and stories are super fun, so there is a tendency for your toddler to try and negotiate for more time in the bath, or one more story.
If you find yourself constantly having to play bad cop, a timer can be your best friend for keeping things on schedule, and as silly as it may sound, takes the blame off of you and puts it on the timer.
Mum can be reasoned with, but the timer is downright unwavering.
Turn of those screens
Along with the slack enforcement of bedtimes during the summer, we also tend to ease up on the rules surrounding TV, video games, or otherwise staring at screens in the hours leading up to bedtime.
After all, there’s no homework to be done, so maybe we can allow a little leeway for an extra episode of In The Night Garden or Peppa Pig
(Which, quite honestly, is as enticing for me as it is for my kids. )
The thing about screens, whether they’re phones, TVs, computers, or tablets, is that they put out a massive amount of blue light.
Our brains associate blue light with sunshine, and therefore daytime, so screens before bed can actually have the unwanted effect of firing your kid’s system back up when it should be powering down.
Try to avoid any screen time for at least two hours before bed.
TOP TIPS.
This also applies to adults, so if you’re having trouble falling asleep at night, try reading instead of watching TV before you turn in.
Turn to the dark side
And while we’re on the subject of light, for many of you living in the northern areas of the planet, you may notice that it doesn’t get dark until significantly later at 8:00pm, and the only thing that simulates sunlight better than a TV screen is actual sunlight.
If your child’s bedroom is still lit up like a Christmas tree when you’re putting them to bed, I suggest investing in a set of blackout blinds.
It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. You can get a six-pack of blinds on Amazon, or even something called non-adhesive window film, which is just plastic you can cut to size and slap up over the glass.
If you’re concerned about aesthetics and willing to spend the money, there are plenty of color options besides black that still block out the light. Whichever way you choose to do it, get that sunlight out of the bedroom.
It’ll make a world of difference, I promise you.
KEY INFORMATION.Having experienced some leniency regarding bedtime can suddenly transform your child into an astoundingly sharp lawyer.
Arguments for why they should be allowed to stay up later are likely to be heard for at least a few days and, potentially, the next eight or ten years. Luckily, parenting is not a democracy.
It is a glorious dictatorship where “Her Highness, the Momma,” makes all the rules.
Don’t give in to the pressure, because as I said earlier, this 8:00pm bedtime is going to be in place for several years. The sooner they accept that as the norm and their summertime hours as a special circumstance, the easier this whole bedtime thing will be for you and for them.
So there it is, folks! I hope you had yourselves a wonderful summer holiday, and that your children are safe and back in school or starting school again soon.
I promise you that, no matter what grade they’re headed into, nothing will help them go into the new school year with a better attitude and positive outlook than getting plenty of sleep.

I’ll be honest, the second I read “one-liners have become my thing” and “huge flirt (specifically the bit with ‘regardless of gender’)” I immediately thought of Jack. I’m just imagining a scenario where you two are at a bar and you tease/flirt with literally anyone you meet
speaking of bars, that’s where the two of you met. he saw you from across the room, probably mingling in and out of the crowd, wearing something that left your body to the imagination and boy does this man have a wild imagination. approaching you was easy, but impressing you was the hard part. you were immune to his charm and sex appeal, which baffled him, but didn’t discourage him.
that’s when things went downhill. he noticed a familiar face walking in and his eyes widened as an alien began to ask around, gun in hand. most of the guests hadn’t taken notice yet, and continued their rambling, but Jack was already heading out the back, typing coordinates into his vortex manipulator. you, being the curious adrenaline junkie that you are, followed after him. you got outside and he was standing in the middle of three aliens identical to the one inside. “fellas,” Jack began, “let’s not be too quick about this. I think we’ve all got some explaining to do.”
cue angry shouts and gunshots as Jack grabbed your arm and pulled you out of the line of fire (to which you quickly yanked out of his grasp). without another word, he zapped the two of you out of there and suddenly you were on a ship. an argument ensued and left him promising to take you home. he stayed true to his word and got you back home, and you don’t see him for a while.
three months to be exact. it’s show night, baby. opening night and you’re all full of adrenaline the best feeling in the world. the performance goes exceptionally well and before you know it the audience is giving a standing ovation and you’re off to greet them in the lobby. a familiar face greets you in the crowd and you have to admit that you’re surprised to see him. Jack makes his way towards you and smiles, and while it doesn’t necessarily make your heart flutter, you have to admit his alluring adventurous charm draws you in.
and that’s exactly what he offers you: adventure, with the promise that you’ll be back in time for dinner (isn’t time travel just so nifty). your interest is peaked, and you accept, justifying your wanderlust with the fact that you can be back seconds after you’ve actually left. and so your adventure begins...
there’d be a lot of one sided pining from his end, and witty quips and flirting from both ends, but eventually you would begin to see him in a different light, and would start letting him take your hand as the two of you run from danger.
he’s intrigued with you because you’re not easily impressed and he’s so used to simply looking at someone and making them melt. therefore, his interest in you is genuine
one adventure calls for some wild acrobatic moves, and when Jack sees you flying through the air so naturally, he’s even more enthralled
he is impressed with your fearless personality, and that being the case, he finds your fear of moths hilarious. but if there’s an actual one fluttering around this man is adamant on killing it before it can get near you your knight in shining armor
the one thing you find yourself struggling with is his recklessness. Jack runs into situations and thinks about them later, which is frustrating to you, but bear with him as he’s usually able to quickly come up with something on the spot
it would take some work on both parts, but I believe that in the end you two would figure it out, better yourselves, and become inseparable

I ship you with Clint Barton!
you two have known each other from a young age. some circus gig is where you met, and you formed an immediate friendship.
Clint loves watching you in the air, and eventually asks you to teach him, which leads to late night laughs and the discovery that he is very flexible. in return, he tones your archery skills and gives you pointers for in-combat shooting.
you two are either always at the shooting range or in the training room practicing hand to hand or knives. occasionally, you can find the two of you in the kitchen at three in the morning baking some ridiculous shit that probably comes out burnt because Clint distracted you with his terrible jokes and you forgot to watch the clock.
he’s also intrigued by forensics and would love to listen to you read articles aloud about the splatter patterns of blood (he’d probably give some of his own insight too)
he thinks your fear of moths is the funniest thing in the world. “you swing from ropes a dozen or so feet in the air, performing life threatening stunts and you’re afraid of a little flying bug?” “Barton, they can smell fear. they’re creatures of the devil with those black soulless eyes and horrible fluttering wings.” and of course he would tease you, only to see you run towards him. “there’s a moth on the windowsill over there” “fuck! ... wait, really ??”
Clint is very methodical and while he can let his emotions get the better of him, he tries to keep himself under control. He prefers going in with a plan and an objective.
Clint can be really quiet, so he has a kick out of sneaking up on you and scaring you just to hear you squeal
He’s full of sarcasm and witty banter, so the two of you are always at it and it’s to the point where the others groan in annoyance when you are in a room together because it never stops.
He’s fascinated by your “Sherlocking” and always asks for and values your opinion on missions where deduction is required. The team has come to rely on you for this.

Greetings.
To discuss Ichika in donut's route, we would have to discuss donut himself as well. It is something unavoidable. I have a generally favourable opinion of donut, to be point of being extremely biased towards him. As such, this is purely opinion with that fact established. This post will also be long because I have trouble finding 'concise' in my dictionary.
I played the game in Japanese so my experience might also differ from yours in that respect.
Also, there will be spoilers.
1.) Hoshino Ichika as a person
Basic background (Just so we are on the same page): Hoshino Ichika is a newbie police officer, quite fresh off her graduation. She is only 21 and still does not have that much experience in the workforce. She has impressive accuracy in her aim and handling of guns, however she is not a professional in it (compared to others). Her family is implied, and is confirmed, to neglect and dismiss her diligence and will in a variety of ways. She is often compared with her brother, whom she loves but is on unsteady relations with, after he moved to Tokyo.
Personality: She is an ordinary person with an ordinary sense of justice and morale, is empathetic, and not especially talented. Her most significant trait is her strong will and diligence, working hard for her ideals to come true. She faces things head on, for the better for worse, and tries to confront things that she is uncomfortable with as well. Not being a complacent person, she constantly strives for a better reality within her abilities. She understands what she can do, and what she can't do, very well. She also has extremely low self-esteem due to her upbringing, and was under a lot of stress during the X-Day incidents due to being a newbie, not going well with her family, then the collar happening.
I admire her for all this. She might not be the most powerful, or greatest, or most active, but she does what she can and tries to be true towards herself. She might fail and fall on the way, and even be a hypocrite sometimes, but she is only human. She isn't trying to save the world, she only wants her family safe, and those that she care for to be alright. I admire people who try despite knowing their limits, just as much as I admire those who are active and cause real change.
Also, I find it strange to pick at her hypocrisy sometimes. Her low-self esteem means that she is constantly unable to accept praise as what it is, yet her upbringing makes her yearn for understanding of some sort that she never received from her parents. I think critisizing her for that can be unfair.
I also personally find realistic egotism in characters to be something beautiful, influenced by the many literature I have read. I empathise with them better.
2.) Sasazuka Takeru as a person
Background Summary: Sasazuka Takeru is 24, an extremely talented hacker who moved from America to Japan due to his trauma with his mother. (In the beginning) he resigned from the police due to despairing at the police and the government's methods, in hope of trying to do something himself. He is used to the merit-based system in America, where ability influenced your input in the situation. However, Japan is the opposite, where the number of years you have spent in a corporation is prized over your ability (this can be still quite relevant in modern Japan). The ability to present your argument can be more important than the substance of it in this case, where these incidents have shook up the entire country. Thus, he is highly frustrated and running short on time with little resources to try to solve something important to him.
Personality: I personally empathise a lot with Sasazuka, as I have a similar sewage personality diluted slightly with coke. (I just wrap it up slightly better thanks to books.) He is highly pragmatic and has his priorities on a rigid hierarchy according to his personal investment, and thus can be seen as egostical. In other words, he ranks his individual needs and morales higher than what is important for the 'greater good'.
This means that he sees practical solutions to problems as more important than the decorums and traditional methods of society, and cares little about feelings he trample on. He evaluates every decision he makes with cold harsh logic, and spends no effort on things he deem 'meaningless'. (For example, society values family relations. However, if he evaluates the relationship to have no future, he'd cut it off, even if it is family. He places value on his own judgement and not general consensus.) And thus he is the most morally grey of the main cast.
He is a true neutral, which diverts from the tradition lawful good or lawful neutral protagonists society tends to value. I cannot comment on him much due to the similarities I find. He is neither good, nor bad. You can only measure that compared with your own moral compass, and whether he is against you or with you. (That's how war works, really. Nobody fights for what they don't believe in. Being the enemy doesn't make them wrong, but it doesn't make them right. It's the same for allies. Imperically, right and wrong can only be decided on how many casualties one's actions result in.)
As a person, he is extremely guarded of other people, and does not give his trust easily. There is no point spending time and effort on someon who is either going to betray you or is not worth it. However, this means that once someone has earned his respect, he will always prioritise them over other things. He has time to spare because he has cut off unimportant people, after all. He will go the extra mile to make sure they grow and can be happy independent from him while he accomplishes his own goals. This is true for both friendships and romantice relationships. This makes his relationships either very shallow or very deep, but nobody has qualified for the latter in love so far.
He is also very honest and tries not to be a hypocrite. What he says are usually logical and sound. He just doesn't wrap it up and consider the other party's feeling as much, because he wants improvement. Babying people will cause no progress. He shows his most natural self to the world because of this. Pleasantries might make co-operation more smooth, but they don't solve the actual problem.
His good parts and extra effort are reserved only for those who he deems as deserving.
(Also, this might also help you understand why he chooses to be morally grey and result based. In Australia, the the first British settlers came across the native Aborigines and judged their standard of living to be 'low'. Feeling the Aborigine children to be 'abused' in such a 'lowly' environment, they decided to kidnap the children so that they could have a better life. They brought them to these 'schools' where they are taught the skills to be a servant so that they can have a job in the future and lift themselves out of the 'poverty cycle'. They had good intentions in their opinion, but for the Aborigines, this is just them stealing their children away and throwing poop on their culture.
Doing what seems 'good' depending on societal morals can lead to these situations, and thus the best a person can do is to not betray themselves. I'm rambling sorry, but in this case, Sasazuka would value the result and say that the good intentions are not excusable. Would this make sense?)
3)Finally answering the question (I made you wait long enough.)
Sasazuka's treatment of Ichika: Just would like to address this first. Sasazuka is cold towards Ichika, calling her 'baka neko' idiot cat the first time they meet. The Japanese wording is less harsh than the English equivalent. (There is even a saying that someone more cute the more baka they are.)
Sasazuka is harsh and cold throughout the beginning because of how badly their personalities clashed. Sasazuka is a person who doesn't value meaningless effort, while Ichika tries despite having little experience or ability. For Sasazuka, Ichika should be focusing on something else and not bother him and lower his efficiency. Explaining to her would be wasting time because she is very unlikely to grasp hold of the situation quickly and contribute to it. She may be a victim, but Adonis is a large organisation adept at manipulating the emotion of masses, so she might be just acting. The enemy formally nearly suceeded in bringing the president down...They must have had many spies in government to make that possible, so they have the resource for this little act.
Conclusion: Time spent on her is wasted, and keep information from her as much as possible. Giving her extra information might even cause her to poke into dangerous situations due to lack of experience, thus encourage her to rely on someone more capable and caring like Yanagi-san. It is a lose-lose situation to work with her.
Meanwhile, for Ichika, she knew that she was dead weight, so she wanted to try and help in whatever way she can. She wanted these incidents to stop, and her hope of restoring the gun law is her main motivation in this route. Sasazuka handled the August(?) case which was the reason for this to happen, and thus he was her best shot. Enomoto's cases were to do with internal police conflict, Shiraishi was most likely a dead end, and she knew that she didn't have the ability to keep up with all cases like Yanagi. Therefore she sorted her priorities and decided to try to help Sasazuka.
Having a lot more EQ than Sasazuka, she realised early on that he was trying to do both of them a favour by not involving her. She also knows that he is extremely independant and would find her help to be intrusive, so she opted to help in the only way that would not bother him or slow him down: health support. She tries to do what she can, and hopefully would gain his trust so that she could have other ways of helping, like gathering information the slow way. For her, it's not that she likes Sasazuka over the other people or anything, it's just that she rationally did what she could for her goal to be accomplished.
Here, there is extra tension because Sasazuka is extremely frustrated and rushed because working in the police meant slow results slow action, but working alone meant less resources. People are dying by the day and he understands those deaths as a victim himself, so he wants to do something about it but it's slow. Ichika is under a lot of pressure for reasons stated earlier. Both of them are types to bottle things up and thus they kind of take it out on each other, but Ichika is more mature about the whole thing.
The love part: As to where they both start getting drawn to each other.... Sasazuka slowly opens up to Ichika who constantly tries without overly disturbing him, which makes her comfortable to be with. She respects his abilities and knows her own limits, which he can respect in turn. She might not be talented, but she is doing what she can while taking his preferences in consideration. Her care for her brother is something he admires, because he can't do the same for someone who doesn't return his affections. She...might remind him of his own mother who treated him as more important than her own life, despite him having such a troublesome personality. Thus, he wanted to help her with her brother while getting to know Sera in the process. Win-win. He knows that he is generally disliked, and thus he could test Kazuki's reactions. If he loved his sister, great. If he doesn't, then he'll tell that to Ichika upfront.
He begins to like her because he can respect her, she is gaining his trust, and most importantly, he feels comfortable around her. The last quality is something rare for him to find. (Isn't the ideal relationship being able to eat potato chips together on the couch, watching the same movie and laugh while pointing out its ridiculousness? In real life at least.)
Thus...he kissed her. Not to start a romantic relationship. It is him trying to repay her with his earnest feelings mixed in. Words wouldn't console her, then. (He also has less reservations about it because, you know, America.)
Ichika grows to like him because of his kindness and honesty she sees through his actions. His words can be aloof, but he has never truly abandoned her or led her astray while she was partners with him. He might even remind her a little of Kazuki, who is aloof and tsun as well. Since Sasazuka is opening up to her, some of her big sisterly feelings of taking care of Kazuki seeps through. She grows fond of Sasazuka, who shows more and more of his softer parts the more she gets to know him. (Please remember that she has high EQ and has a pretty good read on him. He's not that hard to read because he is quite straightforward and doesn't lie.)
He is earnest and trying his best, and thus she can respect him too. She admires him for being both diligent and being talented, but on the other hand he is terrible at wrapping his words and taking care of health. Thus, she can't leave him alone, because she admires him and grows to like him.
His support of her helps these feelings grow, and the kiss reminded her that romance yes indeed could exist. With that in mind, she also slowly realises her own feelings of protectiveness and affection towards him.
For both of them, it isn't a sweet romance purely based on love. (Though this can be said for all of the main cast except Enomoto.) For Sasazuka, it is comfort, trust and respect which led to affection. For Ichika, it is admiration, trust and caring nature that led to affection.
However, it doesn't progress to actual romantic feelings as quickly because of this foundation. Just one step short. They have mutual respect, but haven't closed enough distance to reach a deeper relationship.
Therefore, the turning point was when Ichika tried to protect Sasazuka, Sasazuka tried to protect Ichika and his trauma was dug up. This set off the last chain reaction needed for them to close the distance. Later, when Sasazuka confesses that he was morally grey, he trusts her but is also half testing her. He would never change, and he knows that, so he wants to know if she'd be disgusted or appalled. Because of how invested he was, however, he couldn't bear for her to react negatively and cut it off completely, so he made her drunk first. So that he and her both had a way out.
But...she didn't do any of that. She said that he was kind. She asked him to not go down the dark path. She...accepted him. For Sasazuka, this is more than enough reason for his feelings to tilt to romantic affection.
Then she proceeds to cry and he panics. He doesn't want someone who did all this for him to cry, and thus this memory became important for him. Important enough that he could push down the feelings of revenge, because he doesn't want her to cry. He doesn't want to make her, who helped him and accepted him despite his sewage attitude and questionable morals, to cry again.
It is for this reason that he couldn't confess to her that easily, too, which would lead to the tragic love end. He knows that he isn't the best choice and isn't good enough for her to be happy. She makes him comfortable and is special in doing this, and thus deserves the best happiness she can get. He also has the priority of destroying the remainder of Adonis, and thus...
In the good end, his feelings overrode his other wishes and his reason. Love > Respect & Reason, basically. He planned to confess to her on christmas, but she did first, and you know the rest. From then on, his affections are more open, but at his core, he is a person who isn't made of honey, so he is honest, showing his natural dry self.
For Ichika, Sasazuka confessing is a sign of trust, but also something that panics her. Her feelings progressed to love earlier than him, and she called him an idiot for being so stupid. He calls himself mean and morally grey, but she knows the kindness hidden within him. He downplays all his positive sides and says all this to her, expecting her to push him away. Are you an idiot? (I already love you!) So, don't go off to do things that will hurt yourself!
Because of this, the...Sera event affected her deeply. She knew he was on the edge. She doesn't want Sasazuka to stray off. Desperate to keep him in the side of the light, she remembered how he was troubled by her crying, and the fact that he trusted her enough to confess all that. She then threatens him with her tears because...it's the only thing that made him halt and unsure.
But ye I don't have anything more to say on her front, the rest is all in the game, go play the game you heathen!
Ichika in comparison with other routes:
To discuss this, we have to discuss what part of Ichika shines in other routes. Enomoto - Cuteness, initiative, bravery and willing to confront what he was unwilling to face. Shiraishi - She showed her will strongly. Her EQ was high and saw right through him XD. She chooses not to give up on what is precious to her no matter what. She pointed out his wrongs actively. She was so...kind. And cute. Okazaki - High EQ, figured out what Kei actually wanted. Won't take his poop reasons for using her as a reason. Refuses to give up and self sacrificing without being overly so. Cuteness. Yanagi - Willing to face reality and not run away, whether it is with Yanagi or the last boss. High EQ. Takes initiative and does what she needs to do. Shows her compassionate nature and helps Yanagi forward, together. Cuteness.
As we can see, cuteness is the common factor in all of them. She shows the same in donut's route. Nuff said.
High EQ - As shown in my rambles, she shows this very well.
Compassion - yep.
Strong will - Yep, was willing to do anything to improve the situation, even if it meant buying donuts or doing other things.
One thing I think is special to Sasazuka's route is her grasp on her own limits. She knows what she can and can't do, and that's important. It's admirable. She doesn't shove her nose into matters that aren't hers, and she listens well. She is willing to admit that she isn't capable and that's important in the real world.
As for why she might not seem as exceptional...well. It's because Sasazuka is almost never doing the wrong thing, and is always trying to improve himself. Enomoto refused to accept reality. Shiraishi was blind to what he really wanted. Okazaki wanted meaning to his life in a destructive way. Yanagi was stuck in the past and is overly compassionate, so much that he could not move to act.
Sasazuka is always acting to solve the case, is self-motivated, and is grounded in reality. He is mostly a self-completing person. Though his words are sharp, he always does what is needed. He is honest. He doesn't hide his intentions. His main flaw is his true neutral alignment which does not mesh well with his trauma. Thus, he doesn't need to be changed or forced to change like the others. So she could never assume a super active role in this relationship.
For Sasazuka, Ichika represents comfort and somewhere he could properly breathe around. She is someone he respects, and he wishes her to grow into the best version of herself. They might not be equal in ability, but their mutual understanding, respect and admiration makes them treat each other as equals.
And isn't that enough? I find that to be admirable. I think she shines just as much as in other routes, just in a more realistic way rather than an active way. Valuing a more active and interactive heroine is great and all, but I think the writing in the game captures more realistic and...explicit? Not so pure? Love relatively well.

Y’all can thank @temmie-loony for being subjected to my ramblings because she was the one who fed my obsession. Hope you like my the kids!
Zander Sebastian West (KJ Apa)
born May 14th, 2015 (Taurus); 25; eldest of the speedy^3 disaster fam
Sebastian was actually his last name, but he took Wally’s last name after they adopted him, so it became his middle name; he goes by the name “Bounce” on the field
he actually wanted to use Blink, but there’s already a pretty powerful superhero who’s well-known throughout the multiverse that uses the moniker and Zander didn’t want to step on any toes, especially as a first-time hero
he almost went with Shortcut before his wonderful younger siblings all pointed out that it sounded more like a speedster’s name, which he begrudgingly agreed with
his top choice was actually Super Saiyan, but he thought no one would take him seriously; Cisco later on told him that Super Saiyan was his top choice as well
if one more person says some variation of “Bounce, let’s bounce,” he will start chucking people into the netherworld
metahuman: in short, his power is matter manipulation; this means that he can shape matter into anything that he wishes, which also grants him the ability to move just about anything and anyone anywhere his heart desires (he can telepooooort)
when they first met him, after Jesse has analyzed his powers, they thought that he might actually have telekinetic abilities as he could use his powers without physically touching anything while in reality just his very presence, regardless of proximity as they developed, was enough to take a building apart (which they later found out and Jesse geeked over it for a good two hours or so)
manipulating air particles allows him to teleport to the sky, which makes it seem like he can fly even though he can’t
his powers are tied entirely to his emotions, more so when he was younger and little control over his powers; he has grown to be so laid back and easy going that it’s almost impossible for him to ever lose control of his powers now
when he got a little older, he discovered that his ability disperse particles applied to living things as well; he pretty much just exploded into little scattered bits one day and Jesse had a meltdown
despite popular belief, no, he can’t just teleport criminals to the pipeline cuz they’re metas 99.99% of the time, and dark matter is not the same as matter, therefore, he can’t manipulate dark matter; this applies to dark matter objects as well, like, he can’t just move Cicada’s dagger into a volcano
very limited knowledge/use of combat skills; he learned basic self-defense from Alex of all people (he refused to learn from both his mother and uncle Ollie because he claims that running around an island that translates to fucking purgatory is insane, not mention just dramatic as hell)
he hates running with the white hot intensity of fifty billion suns; this is also why everyone was shocked when they learned he joined the track and field team of all things to which he promptly assured them, “as a high jumper guys, don’t be crazy”
they took him in when he was five after falling in love with his little puppy eyes and adorable smile (fucking Harry thought he was the most precious thing to ever walk the face of the Earth)
moved out about three or four years ago actually cuz the house is SO crowded, like geez, Connor thinks living with Dawn's bajillion pets is bad?
he picked up Jesse's death smile, like that charming Disney smile she has before unleashing all hell
he's pure childlike wonder and basically a giant puppy
the goofiest of goofballs
fun fact: he once saw ‘Hogwarts’ as one of the WiFi accounts available on his phone and promptly exited the bus a good twelve stops before he should’ve, magically discovered a megaphone and shouted “will the house with Hogwarts wifi please speak up?” into it and a girl marched out of one of the houses half annoyed half amused
Zander asked if she believed in soulmates and then how she felt about the movies; she called him a doofus and said she’d see him tomorrow for the 2 o'clock showing of Kung Fu Panda
that was a five-year relationship
when he was younger, yelling or shouting of any kind, especially directed towards him, would immediately trigger panic attacks
the first time it happened, Zander was six and had been living with them for less than a year
they were at Star Labs, Wally and Thea were arguing about something and Jesse tried to intervene, which led to her yelling as well
it took all of ten seconds for Zander to start shaking uncontrollably and accidentally shatter the mug on Jesse’s desk in the process which caused his parents to realize that he was there
Thea was first to approach him, more adept to the symptoms of a panic attack than Wally and Jesse, but Zander backed away from her
Wally and Jesse were frozen in place while they watched their son curl up into a ball, continuously switching from chanting and mumbling to screaming “go away” and “stop it”
meanwhile Thea just sat across from him, keeping her distance so she wouldn’t make things worse, not saying a word - which helped because after a good ten to fifteen minutes of pure deafening silence, Zander’s breathing slowed down and his muscles relaxed and he didn’t flinch when Thea moved closer
from that day on, Thea, Wally and Jesse agreed that to never raise their voice around their kids, especially Zander
the second time it happened was two years later at Star Labs on Earth 1
now we all love Harry, and we know that him yelling and shouting is just a part of his personality
Zander, who hadn’t gotten to spend as much time with his grandfather as he would’ve liked cuz Harry always seems to be needed on different Earths, did not
Speedy^3 left Team Flash to babysit while they went on a mission, and only Harry and Cisco were in the cortex at the moment, and you can’t have Harry and Cisco be in the same room and not argue
so Zander was just doing his homework at what had become Iris’s writing nook, when Harry and Cisco’s argument turned into Harry yelling at Cisco and the latter marching out of the cortex in a huff
and that’s all it took to trigger a panic attack - he dropped his pencil and a beaker in the med bay burst before Harry finally turned to him
Harry had no idea what was going on because one, he had never experienced someone going through a panic attack or an anxiety attack in his presence, and two, none of Zander’s parents had ever mentioned his panic attacks to him
his first instinct is to immediately switch to a softer tone that he’s only ever used with three people - his wife, his daughter, and now his grandson
he started off by assuring Zander that he wasn’t yelling at him, and then he went on to explain that he wasn’t actually angry, and just a lot more of fumbling around for right thing to say until Zander didn’t look absolutely terrified when looking up at him
Harry actually kind of toned down his incessant need to just be shouting all the time - even after Zander had worked at understanding more or less that if his parents did end up yelling at him or at anyone else, it usually wasn’t out of anger, but out of concern and love
Zander was never open to talking about his panic attacks with anyone, it was kind of a struggle for him to even open up to his parents, like, if someone even accidentally let it slip or hinted at it, he would just shut down
he had actually been forced to go to therapy by the foster system he was under, and he hated every second of it, it was no help to him
at one point, maybe age 9 or 10, Zander just blurted out “What’s wrong with me?!” which led to a three hour discussion between Thea, Jesse and Wally as to how they would explain Zander’s panic attacks to him because while they know what triggers it, at that point, they still had no idea what exactly caused him to get triggered (they explained it to the best of their abilities though, because they can’t just not explain his panic attacks to him)
he hated that there was no possible way for him to control his panic attacks, they just happened, and he didn’t want anyone telling him how to go about dealing with them, so he was very adamant on finding his own coping mechanisms because he wanted to have some sense of control over the situation
he graduated from teachers college about four years ago and found a permanent teaching position at the local elementary school less than a year ago; he loves the idea of being able to have a positive influence on young kids and loves coming in and seeing their bright smiles at ass crack of dawn
always comes home with chalk and marker stains on his hands and clothes because what even is an eraser?
Zander is also not a morning person and is usually super cranky if woken up before 10AM, but being a teacher and having his one place has changed his daily routine in such a way that he may be turning over a new leaf
probably has a cheesy tattoo to remind him of home (trust me, he’s the type); maybe like the star labs logo? or the outline of the state of Missouri (which is where Central City is)
Francine “Frankie” Laurel Queen (Olivia Holt)
born March 22nd, 2019 (Aries); 21; second eldest
she was named after Wally’s mother and Thea wanted at least one of their kids to have Laurel’s name as a middle name; goes by Eagle on the field
they found her on Earth 2 when she was a baby - Wally and Jesse were putting out a huge fire, where Frankie’s family died, so instead of putting her up adoption they just decided to adopt her themselves
she looks like a young Moira Queen, it’s ridiculous, Malcolm (who shows up occasionally as he does, that relationship is just waaaaaay too complicated to pinpoint, much less explain) and Oliver both bring it up constantly
every time Frankie’s on Earth 1 with her mom, someone will mention how much she looks like Moira, right down to her mannerisms; like former Queen Consolidated employees have walked away from her accidentally the first few times she came around because they thought Moira Queen had returned
Thea doesn’t really notice it herself at first because she has adopted a lot of Moira’s tendencies herself without realizing, but when she finally did, she actually admitted that it was a little scary, almost like looking at the ghost of her mother
also, turns her biological grandmother was actually a Moira Queen doppelganger
this close to moving out
even though she constantly brings it up, Zander knows she never will; like, freaking Tess (their youngest sibling) will probably move out before Frankie ever seriously considers it because out of all her siblings, Frankie is the most attached to their parents
she and Jade both have keys to Zander’s place though
he doesn’t know (but he does)
since she is the only non-meta out of all her siblings, Thea had hoped that she’d take up archery, but given the amount of time Frankie spent around Sara, she quickly became infatuated with the art of knife throwing; her knives of choice include f-s fighting knives (because they’re practical and effective) and karambits (because they look badass and are great for interrogations and such); she rarely uses her knives to penetrate through flesh, she’ll actually throw them so they catch on someone’s shirt and nail them to the wall (her aim is scary good - I mean, we all know who one of her two mothers is - only to be rivaled by her younger brother Robbie’s)
Harry and Joe both had a heart attack when they found out
Wally thought it was cute… up until Sara started saying crazy shit like, “you know, Frankie would be a great addition to the Waverider” which led to Wally hanging up every time she called
Jesse was surprisingly only mildly concerned
Thea immediately bought herself some Aspirin before yelling at Sara
Sara responded by then teaching Frankie how to hotwire a car
she took karate (started age 5) and gymnastics (started age 4) as a kid
she gained her black belt at age 10
Sara tried to teach her kung fu, but Frankie insisted that karate was better for combat because she found kung fu to be too calming; Sara did however manage to interest in other forms of martial arts like taekwondo, judo and sambo
she actually got really into artistic gymnastics specifically and even seriously committed to competitions for a few years before deciding to get serious about college (to everyone’s surprise)
even though she’s never gotten the chance to meet Laurel, the former Black Canary has had a huge impact on her life, mainly stemming from Frankie’s curiosity of her middle name and things kind of just snowballing into Thea and Sara telling her countless stories about Laurel
she actually took up boxing after being inspired by the fact that it first was the first kind formal fight training that Laurel had before becoming a vigilante
unfortunately for the entire family, she gained Jesse’s spending habits, so Thea will find a thousand dollar inflatable mattress in the family gym, or Robbie (Child #4) might step on his sister’s spikes for shoes and hop around his room with blood and glitter covering his foot
100% the most anal of all her siblings:
she color codes everything (including her notes on the freaking Notes app)
would probably lose her head without her planner
can tell you exactly where everything is in her room and will know if it’s been moved

she tried ballet but quit after two days because she has zero rhythm
she wanted to learn guitar, and the poor instrument would be collecting dust in their attic if Zander hadn’t decided to pick it up
she also took piano for a hot second... a literal second
after quitting pro gymnastics to focus on school, Frankie immediately regretted it because she had no idea what she wanted to do; she didn’t want to sit in some boring lecture hall with 400 strangers for three hours every week, she wanted to do something more hands-on (hence she always enjoyed watching her hacker aunts and uncles - who 100% contributed to her taking apart just about anything with a circuit board - as well as learning from them), but nothing seemed to catch her attention
she eventually just enrolled in undeclared arts, which let her take whatever she wanted, and a lot of what she took ended up being criminology classes, which fascinated her to no end
with a lot of hard work, she ended up finishing a four year bachelor’s degree in criminology in just three years
the minute she graduated, she applied to take the LEE (Law Enforcement Examination), which surprised just about everyone

easily the best driver in the family because Wally and Jesse never drive and whenever they do it’s like being in a death trap, Zander has switched to public transport because he tends to swerve a lot (you need to hold on to something while in the car with him, it’s a must) and just - parking in general is kind of a struggle (thanks Wally and Jesse), Jade has major road rage and this tendency to hit poles, so does Thea (where do you think Jade gets it from?), and Robbie and Tess haven’t gotten their licenses yet but they’ve already had four driving instructors quit and five classes kick them out
actually feels kinda’ inadequate compared to her siblings and has gotten really well at hiding it because if they ever knew she’d just feel even worse because they’d think that it’s their fault even though it’s not
she just always has this gnawing feeling in the back of her mind that she’s not living up to her parents’ expectations the way that her siblings are
and then she feels bad cuz’ parents are cool and even with five kids they’ve never, ever shown any sort of favouritism towards any of them
it’s just like, she sees Zander having his life together like a functional adult and being this amazing wise big brother, and Jade’s a genius like she easily the smartest person that Frankie knows and their family (including the never-ending extended family) is filled with intelligent people; then Robbie’s like this super friendly, charismatic class president/captain of the baseball team who is good at honestly everything that he tries his hand at, and Tess is just so responsible despite being the youngest and manages to keep them from falling apart and will probably end up with either her own multi billion dollar company or just the best president of the US that Earth 2 has ever seen
she’s super proud of all her siblings, but somewhere deep down she’s always like “what have I even managed to accomplish in life?”

highly skilled acrobat, after years and years of lessons from Thea, Sara and even Nyssa (don’t tell her parents, specifically her mother)
owns like five katanas and keeps leaving them around the house; also keeps making new katanas and experimenting with different materials
she actually doesn’t go out on the field and prefers to stay back with Frankie (who actually doesn’t really go out on the field either) and help from behind the scenes
unless they’re actually needed or there’s an annual crossover happening
also, Jade and Frankie make a really good team in general, hence why they’re usually sent on all the covert stealth missions, which leads to their parents and grandpa Harry taking over (Zander, Robbie and Tess hate every single fucking second of it)

Arabic - Jade and Nyssa were sparring one day when Jade just randomly went, “teach me how to speak Arabic” and Nyssa froze for a split second which led to Jade instantly gaining the upper hand on her; after their match though, Nyssa asked her if she was actually serious about learning Arabic, and Jade’s enthusiastic smile was all the answer that she needed
Spanish - Jade, age 10, went up to her Uncle Cisco and asked him if could he teach her Spanish so that she would have a more of a chance to pile on a variety of classes in high school so she could explore her areas of interest a little more; Cisco was more than happy to oblige for the sake of his favourite niece
German and Italian - started with Jade telling Nate how cool it is that he knows like six languages and then next thing you know, Jade’s skyping him every week and Cisco’s threatening to blast Nate because he is the favourite uncle so back off Heywood

unlike Jesse however, she had no intention of skipping a few grades even though she very well could; she just preferred going through school at the same pace as her friends because the idea of skipping ahead and all older kids always judging her for being the youngest kid there sounded horrifying (she took Grade 11 bio in Grade 10 because it was normal to fast track, but everyone gave her the stink eye all semester which made her think that she made the right decision not skipping a few grades)

she’s also the biggest worrywart, and because she is allergic to emoting and basically a splitting image of her grandpa Harry, her parents and siblings and just about anyone really always feels super guilty when they do something stupid to worry her and then hear that Tess cried
you'd think that being the little angel she is, she'd like to keep her space tidy, but nooooooo; her room is a pigsty which she likes to refer to as organized chaos

Jade swears that she once sat in Tess's bean bag chair and ended up getting sucked into an alternate dimension

having two speedster parents led her to have the strongest connection out of everyone to the speed force to the point where the idea of losing her powers isn't as daunting as losing her connection to the speed force

Zander, Frankie and Jade refuse to believe that this kid just went up to their parents at age seven and asked for a cat, and then got one
despite the huge age difference between her and Zander, and being closest to Robbie in that they share literally everything, she actually has this tendency to cling to him whenever she’s scared or confused

even when she got a little older, she used to poke him awake and he’d always go back to her room and stay with her until she fell asleep
Tess was by far the most affected by his moving out, sometimes she’d just got into his mostly empty bedroom and sit there and stare at every item missing from his room (no one else in the family ever made any move to disturb her)
Zander started calling every night to check up on her
she’d pretend to be annoyed, but he knew she was smiling the whole time

A few things that I want to point out…
Speedy^Cubed got married on Earth 2 and decided to permanently move there mainly because Earth 1 already had so many superheroes and Wally and Thea ended getting more attached to it than even Jesse is.
They weren’t sure if their kids would want to operate from Earth 2 because like their father, all of them were out on the field during massive team-ups, and they were worried that their kids would love the idea of working with everyone else so much that they’d want to move (which all three of them of support, but later on tear up about). To their surprise, every single of their kids preferred to operate as part of Team Speedy^Cubed on Earth 2, mainly because Earths 1 and 38 have like four teams between them and Earth 2 has like, two heroes outside of their parents, both of whom are retired. It might also be because they love their parents, but no one other than Zander would ever admit it.
All three of them made a collective decision to keep their own last names though, that’s one thing that they were very adamant on, which their kids are constantly complaining about as they made that decision when they were at a point in their lives where having kids was the furthest thing on their mind.
This obviously means that their kids all have different last names, but they secretly think that it’s actually kind of helpful because on whatever Earth they may be on, each of their parents’ last names comes in real handy! Like, “oh, a Queen?! can’t piss you off in any way, shape or form!” // “detective/captain/lieutenant/sergeant West’s grandchild? by all means, have the key to the city!” // “professor Wells’s grandchild? well damn, now I have to give you clearance to enter this highly secure facility that not even the president knows about!”
KJ Apa, Olivia Holt and Lana Condor are all 21, which boggles my mind because if you’d told me that Olivia was 21, I would believe no questions asked, but KJ and Lana?! KJ looks at least 25, and with Lana I MIGHT believe you if said she was 19, so it all works out in the end.
I wasn’t sure what codenames to give Frankie and Jade. I nearly had them be Artemis and Cheshire before I changed Frankie’s choice of weapons and decided that the team is better off with one archer. Then, as I was thinking of a cool name, it kind of dawned on me that a common theme among assassins and special ops and such are to have bird names as their codenames, so I chose literal birds of prey as their superhero names because I just thought it would be cool to include the Birds of Prey somehow. This also means that I saw a lot of pictures of birds and had nightmares for the three consecutive nights.
Personally, I think Jesse seems like the type of person who has zero self-control when it comes to impulsively spending her money. She’s like that one person who has to get something from Cinnabon every time she walks by it, and she doesn’t even really like Cinnabon to begin with. Wally is big on saving and Thea’s just a lot more tactful when it comes to her spending habits because unlike her lovely wife, she’d probably get something on sale or use like 100 different coupons (she owned a nightclub, businesses are already so expensive to run, but alcohol being sold at the price that it is makes it 400x worse, she knows what her money’s worth).
Tess Morgan was actually Earth 1 Harrison Wells’ wife, so since we never learned Jesse’s mom’s name, I made the executive decision to declare that it’s Tess Morgan.

Blog post 1: Power dynamics between humans and the nature & True “owners” of human brains.
The endless pursuit of power socially and economically keeps stressing the problem and intense conflict. After reading Carol A Stabile’s article, I am impressed and start to think about the power of religion. In the case of whether abortion should be legalized, there are two separate groups as “pro-life” and “pro-choice”. The main argument held by “pro-choice” is the power endowed by women that they should be able to have total control and right of their bodies, which is criticized by “pro-life” as the pure pursue of such power is selfish. However, the essence of the “pro-life” group also has to do with power but being manipulated by the power of religion. I found a documentary movie poster (https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwin7Nun8-zkAhVVuZ4KHZCzBWcQjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.imdb.com%2Ftitle%2Ftt8948614%2F&psig=AOvVaw1orJvd3FkJmc9yzBPEXRR6&ust=1569532748586751) precisely depicts the conflict between individuals and authoritative groups: In the poster, a pregnant woman stands facing the supreme court by only showing her back. Comparing with the huge architecture, the woman seems pretty insignificant, and those countless steps indicate the metaphor of struggles and doubts she has to be through if she just wants the right to control her uterus. Besides, the court is in the dark, which makes me feel uncontrollable and mysterious, while the woman is standing under the light which emphasized how vulnerable she is to be attacked. The visual contrast of being huge and small, dark and bright can easily raise sympathy towards women themselves. As mentioned in the article that the development of visual technologies makes it possible to show “photos” of embryos. But the logic here is chop because simply defining women who choose to give up their babies as murder ignores the mental and social struggles experienced by pregnant women. Going back yo the poster, the woman firmly stands straight that indicates her determined mind to fight while putting her hands on her belly. Such physical gesture shows her instinctual care and love for her baby, which emphasizes that abortion is a decision made with deep grief after considering the reality. Therefore, the visual image shows that women are brave and pitiful. Next, the sculptures are positioned in the “God-like” view of point to show the repression towards female bodies. And it also functions as a metaphor saying how humans are still being manipulated and guided by the power of religions and natural law. At last, I consider the improvement of visual technologies as a sign of how human has earned more power facing nature.
I also think that pregnant women are de-humanized as merely tools for carriage the baby instead of a mother. For example, the case of the woman being charged after she gets shot proves such point of view: people tend to ignore the mother’s emotions and mental connection with the baby, and they assume her being cold-blooded. Even for women who choose to abortion, they make such a decision not because they want to merely follow their wishes but is actually a hard decision resulted after considering the financial situation, living environment, and social pressures. Therefore, After evolving and building human society for thousands of years, human brains are superior enough to make some changes against the natural law.
Next, Meredith’s work makes me think about whether we know our brains. As the visual technology develops, people are able to view the brain activities scientifically, and it makes brain an objective organ to be looked at. However, the idea of brain being an organ is also given by our brains. So are we have control over our brains as owners or are our bodies just physical forms used by brains to control us? Meredith W. However, I noticed that when the girl is escaping on the street, a huge advertisement sign has the words “She’s MAD”.
I think the explanation could be that her brain is the source of everything but not serving her but control her. The girl is just a tool for the brain to exist and experience the world because every one of her single actions is composed and demanded from her brain, maybe even the definition of “self” is also a trick played by the human brain.

Listen, i saw the stuff on shipping and the difference with cp and i really respect you, but as a creator the idea of someone making fan content of my characters like that freaks me out. I would NEVER want that for my babies.
I sympathize. It's completely normal to be freaked out by someone creating content of your characters that you yourself find disturbing. And there's nothing wrong with having an emotional reaction like that!
But since you phrased this as a 'but', we should probably talk about the difference between disgust and ethics because it's directly relevant to what you're saying and to censorship in general.
Simply put, disgust isn't a moral response, it's an emotional one.
Our brains experience disgust in order to reinforce our instinctual need to protect ourselves from harm and corruption. The same goes for fear, fear doesn't tell you that something is evil, it's just an emotional response that occurs when your body tells you to run away from danger.
What that means is that disgusted by something doesn't make it immoral. Many people believe that it does and so have essentially substituted their own personal sense of disgust for morality. I personally believe it's a core component in homophobia. Without any rational reason to find gay people immoral, homophobes instead fall back to how they feel and they feel disgusted by gay people. By confusing disgust for morality, they argue that being gay is immoral, purely because they themselves are disgusted by gay people.
If we're talking about moral philosophy, the idea of thoughtcrime is not ethical. Arguing that thinking certain thoughts and writing certain words is immoral and should therefore be censored is in itself unethical, because it is a form of violence in which you impose your will on another human being's self-expression. That's a direct violation of someone's freedom to be an independent entity and as such, unethical.
Even if someone's form of art makes you personally uncomfortable, it's not ethical to seek to censor it because of that feeling. The self-expression is not violent, but attempting to censor it is. Contrast this with times when someone's self-expression actually is violent, such as is the case when nazis march through the streets promoting antisemitism and genocide. In that case they're engaging in collective self-expression in the form of intimidation, harassment, and proselytization.
Before I finish, we should also talk about two big structural problems with the censorship argument forwarded by antis as it relates to fandom.
Emotional Manipulation Is A Thing
They call anything they attack child pornography in an attempt to make people like you experience the emotions that you're telling me about here. And it's almost always a lie. I've seen antis argue that relationships between two adults is pedophilia because the two adult characters knew each other when they were children. Or how about that nonsense about how a height difference between two characters represents a power imbalance and so suggests predatory behavior.
Basically, most of the time when antis are talking about cp, they're lying about it in order to get you to react, knowing that your reaction can make it hard to see when they're lying.
They're Trying To Redefine What Is Ethical
Above, I explained how thoughtcrime is unethical. While antis and other people who support this kind of censorship are trying to manipulate you by using your emotions against you, they also pursue another strategy at the same time. They try to argue that thoughtcrime is actually an ethical concept.
The idea is that, if they can get people to think that it's okay to police someone else's thoughts it won't matter if their manipulations fail. People will agree with the fundamental structure of their argument because they've been convinced that it is an ethical one that aligns with their pre-existing morals.
Or, to put that in different words, they want to define something unethical as being actually secretly ethical.
The vehicle they use to do this is the 'fiction is reality' argument, which argues that thoughts create reality and therefore the wrong thoughts create the wrong reality. The point is to get you to believe that policing someone else's thoughts is an ethical act by making you think that you're in danger from people who think the wrong thoughts, who are surely just a step away from descending into savage barbarity because they choose to do things like write darkfic. Or young adult fiction where two teenagers fall in love. Or a story about two adults who fall in love but are of the same gender.
See what I'm getting at? There's no enemy at the gates that's waiting to kill us, but like everyone who has an ultimately authoritarian worldview, antis forward this argument because they need an enemy to exist and they want to convince you that it exists too.
And I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I included that homophobia a moment ago, this kind of tool is absolutely wielded against people in the LGBTQ+ community. I'm a trans woman and there are people who will argue that young children even learning I exist is a form of corruptive influence and that I am an example of the kind of enemy they seek to oppose.
Anyways, just to cover my points again:
What disgusts you is not necessarily immoral. If you use disgust as morality, you'll make immoral decisions.
What is immoral may not immediately disgust you. If you use disgust as morality, you might not even notice you're making an immoral decision.
Writing fic about fictional characters is not and cannot be cp and does not harm real living people.
Most of what antis argue against doesn’t even fit their own definitions.
Thoughtcrime is unethical.
Antis are arguing from an inherently unethical and emotionally manipulative position.

Get it through your thick skulls that someone publicly expressing an opinion contrary to yours is not an attack on you personally, and that you don't have to violently tear down every single contrary opinion and everyone that holds them until yours is the only one that exists for it to be "valid". It's not a battle to the death to determine which one is the only one that has the right to exist and therefore be considered the objectively correct position. We're not fucking Wildclaws, and if your argument in favor of (or even against) the eyes looks anything the paragraph above you need to seriously step back and reflect on your life for a minute, ironically just like how you seem so fond of telling anyone who disagrees with you to do if they "care about this game so much".
