#so we have the fear street scenario again

Note
eddie being the speaker for venom’s adoring rant he eventually goes on at the end of your date when you’re just slowly strolling through a park, taking the long way home just to draw the evening out (but also eddie filtering it because some of the points are VERY INAPPROPRIATE and so venom gets mad and eventually takes over even though you are in public)
This post is 18+, minors dni.
"You're very pretty," Eddie narrates the voice in his head, but he shakes his head and tries again, "Pret-ty. He says- He says it weird, like prit-ty."
"Pretty," You try, voice low and gruff in a poor attempt to match Venom's, "Like that?"
"Spot on," Eddie laughs, and you let your chest shake with giggles as you roam down the sidewalk, "And he says your dress makes him think of blood, which," Eddie grimaces, "I'm sure, in his mind, is a compliment."
"Hm," You hum, glancing down at the red fabric you're draped in, "Yeah, I'll choose to take that kindly."
"And he wants to- woah," Eddie's eyes go wide and his hand tightens around your own momentarily, "Uh, hold your hand."
"What?"
"He wants to hold your hand!" Eddie insists, "And- Jesus, Venom! And tuck you into bed."
"I said fuck!" A voice roars from deep inside of Eddie's chest, and before you know it black ooze is emerging from your boyfriend's skin. You panic, yanking Eddie-turned-Venom into an alleyway between two apartment buildings and praying that no one is watching you.
"I said I wanted to fuck you into the bed," Venom clarifies, towering over you in the dark alley. If you didn't know him, in any other scenario, you'd be fainting from fear. But the hulking alien doesn't bother you now, and you put a hand over his mouth full of sharp teeth to try and get him to quiet down.
"Okay," You soothe, trying to acknowledge him so that he doesn't feel so misinterpreted, "Okay Venom. That's very- uh, nice. But you can't be out right now, you know that. Please just go back inside Eddie?"
"He is lying, I cannot trust him!" Venom huffs, voice not quieted at all, merely muffled by your hand, "I did not say I wanted to hold your hand. I said I wanted you to fuck my tongue!"
"Charming," You spit, face flushed with fire matching the heat in your belly, "Really, Venom, I- I'd like to, but- but we're out now, and I need you to quiet down and go back inside."
"Eddie does not deserve to take you on dates like this. He does not tell you how good you look."
"Yes he does!" You insist, still clamping your hand desperately over Venom's mouth. It does nothing, but you can't stand the thought of letting go.
"He uses words like gorgeous and beautiful. They are true," Venom promises, "But he never says sexy or delicious. Those are true, too, and you should hear them."
"Thank you, Venom," You croon, moving your hands to his cheeks to tug them closer to your face. He accepts a kiss to the teeth, seeing as he hasn't bothered to give himself lips in this form, and it's a rather odd sensation on your own. But it quiets him down, and he's calm under your touch.
"I'm happy you think those things," You grin, and you can't deny that you're flattered, "But if you want to say those things, we have to wait until we're home. I promise, as soon as the door shuts behind us you can join Eddie and I, okay? He'll say beautiful, you can say..." You fumble for a term, inches away from Venom's face, and he offers a helpful hint.
"Hot stuff!" He roars, definitely loud enough to be heard from the street.
"Okay! Okay, hot stuff," You nod, peering horrified at the mouth of the alleyway to make sure no one is coming to investigate, "That's very nice Venom, I'd love to hear that later."
"I will go back inside now," Venom tells you, and your heart rate spikes when you hear rushed footsteps coming your way, "But I will see you later."
"Later, later!" You promise, and the symbiote can't seem to melt into Eddie fast enough. As soon as the face in front of you is tan instead of goopy, you surge for it, locking lips with Eddie in a gesture you hope looks passionate and not rushed.
The man doesn't know what you're doing, but he doesn't care. He lets you slam him against the wall behind him with a soft groan, and you shut your eyes just as the footsteps thud beside you.
"Oh-" A resident of the nearby apartments scoffs, "Gross. Get a fucking room or something, you'll get an infection out here. Perverts!"
You flip the man off for good measure, and wait until he's a safe distance away to part from Eddie. He looks dazed from the kiss, but as soon as he comes to, he's got a message from Venom.
"He wants to know if he can bite that guy's head off," Eddie drawls, and you sigh, typical.
"No," You scoff, grabbing Eddie's hand and leading him back out of the alleyway, "But we should get home, he's got lots to say to me."
"And do to you," Eddie's face scrunches as he listens to Venom's rambling, shaking his head slightly at a suggestion you don't hear, "I- I don't think that's possible, buddy."

Who am I?
Tumblr media
Author: bvidzsoo
Warnings: mentions of a gun, cursing, smut
Pairing: Jeong Yunho x female reader
Word count: 14,2k
Summary: Going through the dark passageway late in the night really wasn't your greatest idea, but the angels were on lookout that night and sent Jeong Yunho as your savior. But what happens when you realize Jeong Yunho isn't at all what he seems to be?
A/N: Uh...hi? This piece here really shouldn't exist, like the way I wrote it was so against the routine I have when doing stories, I'm even shocked it became real. It also was supposed to be a mere longer drabble but oh well, I suck at writing short stories either way. Also, Jeong Yunho is a constant in my mind lately so...ig it was inevitable that I write something with him. *sigh* There's smut in here and ugh...yeah, I tried again lol. Leave feedback, I very much appreciate it and stay tuned for the next chapter of the rockstar!au Mingi story! Enjoy now and tell me your thoughts!

It really was my fault; I should have been smarter before turning down the dimly lit passageway between the two tall buildings. But the path towards my flat was shorter this way, and I was in a hurry, desperate to finally get home after a long and busy day. The streets were quiet as night had settled upon the otherwise lively city and as I exhaled through my mouth, a little puff of smog appeared in the chilly air. My hands slipped deeper into the pockets of my black bomber jacket as I nuzzled my nose more into it, the tip of it unmistakably red. Winter struck upon us quite unexpectedly and the hope that we still had a few more days of sunshine and as little warmth as the sun could offer came crushing down when the wind picked up two days ago and snow started falling immediately. And what was even worse is that the temperatures dropped so low that everything had frozen over by now and it was slipper; in the past ten minutes I have almost fallen on my bum at least three times. But the little scare got my heart pumping faster, and I wasn’t feeling as cold as I was supposed to despite the layers of clothing adorning my body.
There was a light shuffle behind me, that was the first thing which caught my attention, and then suddenly, the dark figure standing a few feet ahead close to the wall, as if they were facing it, was the second thing to alarm me. My heart leaped slightly as my hands balled up into fists in my pockets, but I quickly tried to calm myself down. Not all men were evil and not all men wanted to hurt women, and I wasn’t even sure it was a man standing up front. My legs carried me faster and I gulped when the person whipped their head around to look at me. My hunch was right, it was a man, and he had a bloodied lip as I took in his face while still approaching. I quickly averted my eyes and quickened my pace, hoping that if I ignored him, he would ignore me as well. I had nothing on me if he decided to attack me, I could only hope my fists were good enough and I wouldn’t break my fingers if I was forced to use brute force. I only would have had to take three more steps to be past the man, but he suddenly jumped in front of me and I came to a halt as he squared me up. I tried not to let him see the fear I was feeling pulsing through my body as I clenched my jaw as my body lightly trembled from the adrenaline coursing through my bloodstream.
“Hey there, bunny.” My eyebrows furrowed at his raw voice, almost as if it was hard for him to speak as a disgusting smirk painted his lips. I suddenly wished I had taken the longer way, walked on the main road instead of this shortcut. When the man realized I wouldn’t say anything back, he tsked, “Are you shy, little bunny?”
Nicknames were annoying in a normal scenario and it was only making my skin crawl right now, but I remained silent, gripping the keys of my flat’s front door which I had in my left pocket. One wrong move from the man, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stab him with it.
“Why are you not answering me?” His voice got rougher and he took a wobbly step towards me, and without much thought, I whirled around with the purpose of walking back the way I have come, but another man was blocking my path. He looked lanky and was hunched over as his lips pulled into a scary sneer. I was cornered. My hands started trembling more as I took a deep breath, trying to think level headed, but my mind was clouded with panic as I searched for an escape route without much success. Before I could even react, the man with the busted lip approached me from behind and as I turned to be able to see him, his rough hand made contact with my left shoulder. I quickly yanked myself away and slightly crashed into the concrete wall of the building behind me.
“Don’t touch me!” I managed to snap out with a shaky voice, yet it sounded rough. It certainly didn’t match the way I was feeling, scared absolutely shitless.
“Is my little bunny scared?” If I wasn’t so scared I probably would’ve seen red at his claim over me, and it only made it worse as the other man chuckled. My eyes snapped towards him before quickly looking back at the other man when I realized he tried to grab at me again.
“I said, don’t touch me!” I shrieked and went to push him backwards, breathing irregularly as I was full on shaking, on the verge of a break down. But if I started crying I would look helpless, which I was, and I probably wouldn’t be able to see anything, so I willed myself to blink away the tears quickly.
“You little bitch, you wanna play rough?” The man spat as he had stumbled backwards from my push and I shrunk against the wall when the taller one suddenly started approaching, a hungry stare in his eyes. My lips started trembling and I went to yank out my keys and lunge at the taller one, but a very amused chuckle halted everyone’s actions. All I could think about was a third man coming to do vile things to me and at the thought, a few tears rolled down my cheeks, but I quickly wiped at them when I saw the battered-up man smirking in my direction at my distress.
“I thought I beat your sorry ass into unconsciousness.” At the hear of the third person’s voice, the battered-up man suddenly froze and his eyes widened as the taller one took a step back, leaving just enough space for me to run away, “What are you still doing out here?”
The battered-up one cursed under his breath before putting on a fake smile as he whirled around, facing the third man. I was too scared to look, shaking, as I pondered whether it was the distraction I needed to run away, “I was just playing with my little bunny, you should go on your way—”
“She doesn’t look like she wants to play with you, Siwon.” The third man snapped and my eyebrows furrowed at the familiarity of his tone. It resembled someone’s I knew from my university, but I remained unmoving as the tall man slowly backed away, “And you, Nikhun, I thought I said I didn’t want to see you around here, anymore…”
“I was just passing by.” The taller one, Nikhun, stiffly said before he abruptly turned around and took off almost in a run as the familiar voice just chuckled. My muscles slightly relaxed as I realized I could now just run back the way I had come, and moving slowly, I started heading just that way.
“I know I said I wasn’t going to kill you, Siwon,” The familiar sounding man tsked as I continued slowly walking with my back pressed up against the building’s cold wall, “But you’re really testing my patience lately.”
“Fuck you, man.” Siwon spat and I jumped when there was suddenly a loud crash and an exasperated scoff. I froze and didn’t dare breathe as I felt eyes on me. I didn’t know who was looking at me or what happened, I was scared to turn my head and look. I had to run. But as I pushed myself away from the wall, the familiar voice suddenly called out.
“It’s okay now, Y/N.” What—I whipped my head around and first took in the scene. Siwon, the battered-up man, was lying on the ground unconscious by the big trashcan. The loud bang must’ve been him. With wide eyes, I looked at the third man alarmed, and my jaw dropped as I stood staring at the familiar face of Jeong Yunho. Everyone knew him at university and everyone loved him. Jeong Yunho was like the sunshine. He was always smiling and laughing, cracking harmless jokes and hitting up a conversation effortlessly with anyone. He was kind and considerate, he always helped out anyone who needed help. He would carry your stuff if they were heavy and he’d walk you home if it was too late. He held the door open for anyone and he would make place for you at the Cafeteria if there were no more empty spots. The Jeong Yunho who was often found in the library with his nose buried in books, typing furiously on his laptop, and always turning in his assignments way before their deadline. He wore light colors and fluffy clothes, often paired with hilarious beanies and hats. But the guy standing a few feet away from me looked nothing like the Yunho I have taken glances at or heard stories about. Yunho and I weren’t friends, we were far from being acquittances even, but everyone knew him at our university and that included me. We were people from two very different universes and I had no idea how he knew my name. Yes, sure, we would cross paths in the library at times when I was in a rush as my deadline was a day or two away, and yes, I did almost spill my coffee on him once, but there was never a conversation involved or an exchange of names. Just a small, “Oh, my, God! I’m so sorry, that was a close call.”, and a “Don’t worry about it, you have great coordination, you stopped in time.” If I would have had great coordination, I wouldn’t have nearly ran into him, but I didn’t have the time to tell him that as I was late to work.
“Yun—Yunho?” I stuttered out finally once I was one hundred percent convinced it was Jeong Yunho. The dimly lit passageway made it harder to see his face from where I was standing and his clothes were unrecognizable, but it was his voice which confirmed his identity.
“Jeong Yunho in person.” He chuckled and I finally pulled myself together and slowly started approaching him. My legs were slightly shaky and I was still clutching my keys tightly in my left hand, but my heartbeat was slowly calming down. I passed by Siwon and took a peek against my better judgement, eyes widening when I saw the little trickle of red from the side of his head. Was he…going to die?
I looked up as I came to a stop a few steps away from Yunho and exhaled, coming face to face with a very unfamiliar looking Jeong Yunho. Despite the cold weather he was wearing a black leather jacket over what seemed to be a long-sleeved form fitting blouse with graphic design on it, and wide black jeans hugged his legs with the blouse tucked in, showing off his waist. His neck was decorated with various necklaces and as he extended one hand towards me, I noticed all the rings on his long fingers. I gulped as I looked back up at him, slightly intimidated and mostly confused. His black hair was completely pushed back and the usual fluffiness was gone from it.
“Come, you’re safe now.” Yunho encouraged me with his usual warm smile, but it didn’t reach his eyes. My eyebrows furrowed as I reluctantly extended my hand and placed it in his palm, gasping when he yanked me forward, making me jump over Siwon’s slumped body. Yunho smirked as I somehow managed not to fall against his chest, big eyes staring up at him in shock, “Good thing I was passing by, angel, or else these two…”
He didn’t finish his sentence and he didn’t have to; I knew. I gulped and became aware of the awfully obvious height difference between the two of us and scrambled to pull my hand out of his, but Yunho’s grip suddenly tightened and he stepped closer, making me tip my head back as I tried looking in his eyes. My heart was racing once again and I could feel a blush creep up onto my cheeks as Yunho’s eyes examined my face with a small smirk, “What are you doing out here so late at night?”
“I—” My mind blanched for a second as Yunho’s cold fingers intertwined with mine, “I had the evening shift today, I—I was just walking home.”
“It’s unsafe at this hour.” Yunho’s voice turned stern and I averted my eyes, suddenly embarrassed that I was getting scolded by him, “And especially through this neighborhood, Y/N. You should’ve stuck to the main road instead.”
“I know.” I grumbled under my breath and Yunho chuckled, his voice deep, and it only made me flush harder as I avoided eye contact.
“Let’s get you home.” He said quietly and I looked at him alarmed, extracting my hand from his as he started walking us towards the end of the passageway.
“I can walk on my own—” I said in a panic, not wanting Yunho to walk with me. I wasn’t even far away, I have taken this route so many times before, I was going to be fine now that those two men were gone, but Yunho’s tone definitely made me rethink my words as he spoke up.
“You are not walking on your own, especially around here.” Yunho’s voice was sharp and he threw me a quick glare as he looked behind, at me, “Do you not know anything about this place?”
I shrugged and pushed my hands into my pockets again, “I do, but it’s not that big of a deal. I always walk home at this time and nothing has ever happened. I just had bad luck tonight.”
“Bad luck, you say.” Yunho scoffed, face contorted into disgust, “The things those two would’ve done to you would have been terrible, Y/N, and you call it bad luck?”
“Okay, fine.” I snapped and walked up to his side, giving him a wide-eyed stare, “Walk me home then, but this is fucking weird. How do you even know my name?”
Yunho’s eyebrows furrowed and his sharp stare made me gulp as I shrunk back, walking a little further away from him, “We go to the same university.”
“I’m not popular.” I deadpanned and Yunho shrugged, looking ahead as his jaw clenched and unclenched.
“You once scribbled in a book from the library and I was at the front desk when the librarian lost it. She rambled on about you for a good fifteen minutes before I was finally allowed to rent the book I wanted.” I cleared my throat in embarrassment, remembering well what the next day looked like when I walked inside the library. I have skipped going there for the next two months from shame as the librarian had screamed at me for ten minutes without even as much as taking a breath.
“Whatever, it’s still weird.” I muttered and nuzzled my nose behind the neckline of my jacket, regretting now that I haven’t worn a scarf. Yunho just chuckled and cast me a side glance as his longs legs carried him around faster than my shorter ones; it almost felt like I was jogging next to him. He must’ve been cold with how few clothing items he was wearing. I couldn’t help but let my eyes wander towards him as I took in his appearance again, deciding that this version of Yunho was intimidating and quite…hot. His bright persona was certainly eye catching but this felt different, alluring almost.
“It’s not weird,” Yunho said with a chuckle, lips pulling into an amused smile, “I’m just observant.”
I hummed, but didn’t look at him as I asked my next question while we crossed the road, “What are you doing here, anyway?”
Yunho chuckled again, but it was lower and as we looked at each other briefly, there was a dark glint in his beautiful chocolate brown eyes, mischief written all over his face, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
I rolled my eyes and quickened my pace, just wanting to get home already. I was tired and cold.
“Do you have the evening shift often?” He asked after a minute of silence.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” I fired back and Yunho laughed, head tilting back slightly, “Don’t expect me to give you an answer when you evade mine with a question.”
“You didn’t look like you’d be this feisty, angel.” My steps halted as I stared at Yunho incredulously, eyes slightly widening in offense. What did he mean by that?
“I’m tired.” I called out since Yunho hadn’t stopped walking and now I had to jog to catch up with his long strides, “And you’re walking too fast.”
“My apologies.” Yunho suddenly slowed down and looked at me with a big smile, the first time he looked like the Yunho I knew from university, “Sometimes I forget not everyone has long legs like mine.”
“Yeah,” I rolled my eyes, “I wonder how’s the weather up there.”
Yunho suddenly laughed, pressing a palm against his lips as it was loud, “I haven’t heard that one in long.”
I just hummed and cast another glance at him, confused of our whole conversation and the situation we were in. To be fair, I was grateful for him, of course I was, but the shock still hadn’t worn off and I was still slightly thrown off by his demeanor and change of personality…and looks. We continued walking in silence, steps hurried as the wind started blowing harder and all I could think about was Yunho being cold and getting sick because of his choice of clothing. However, the quiet didn’t last for long around us as we heard approaching footsteps, it sounded like they were running towards us. Yunho and I looked back at the same time and I failed to notice the way his expression hardened and jaw set. Before I could react, a heavy arm was draped around my shoulders and I was pulled into a sturdy body, warmth wrapping around myself and a masculine scent. I looked up at Yunho flabbergasted before watching the running man again as he came to a stop a few feet away from us.
“Hey, Yunho—” He panted as he leaned forward, resting his hands on his knees, “Finally found you, man.”
Yunho said nothing as he watched the guy, strengthening his grip against my shoulder when I tried to move away. My eyebrows furrowed as I struggled for a bit more, until Yunho clicked his tongue and I looked up at him, feeling his gaze on me already. His eyes were sharp and dark and I gulped as I looked away, stilling in his grip when he looked back at the younger looking guy, “What do you want?”
His voice sounded nothing like the friendly person I have been just talking to, it was ice cold and it made me shiver.
“Yeah, uh,” The guy glanced at me reluctantly, “Cheol wants the money. Soon.”
Yunho scoffed and rolled his eyes as I looked at him curiously, wondering where this conversation was going, “I thought I have made myself clear already, Chan.”
“Hey, don’t shoot the messenger, alright?” The shorter guy scoffed and stood up straight, his eyes hardening as he looked at Yunho now with a slight glare, “You’ve been avoiding us for months now, Cheol is getting fed up…so is everyone else.”
“And I have a reason for that,” Yunho snapped, anger coating his voice, “which you all know of. If you want my money, do your fucking end of the deal for once.”
“Was the merch not good enough last time?” Chan raised an eyebrow. These two were acting like I wasn’t even there, so I tried to get out of Yunho’s grip again, but instead, he gripped my nape and roughly pushed my head into his chest, making me gasp. I clutched against the collar of his leather jacket and tried to pull away, but Yunho’s strength was immense, so, instead my cheek was mushed against his firm chest, his musky cologne invading my senses and making my head slightly dizzy.
“If it were good, you would’ve seen the money by now.” Yunho’s voice held no emotions and I watched as best as I could from my position as he reached with his right hand behind himself, moving at what looked like lightning speed to me, but with my vision obscured I wasn’t able to see what was in his hand, “Go back to Cheol and tell him to get his fucking act together before I take action.”
“Asshole.” I heard this Chan guy snap and then an unsettling silence followed. I bit my lower lip and wondered what was going on, and it didn’t take long to find out as he spoke up soon again, “Got yourself a shiny new toy?”
“She’s a person, not a toy, Chan. And she’s not mine.” Yunho’s voice was rough and my breath halted for a second as I felt Yunho’s fingers twitch against my skin. I moved my head slightly to look up at him and caught the quick glance he sent down at me. It was dark and emotionless, yet it held a clear warning that I needed to stay quiet. My heart skipped a beat involuntarily.
“You better claim her then, before Cheol gets his hands on her—”
“Get lost, right now.” I have never heard such a threatening tone from anyone before, and my blood froze over at the anger and sneer in Yunho’s voice as he grabbed onto the back of my head tightly, making me freeze as I heard the click of something. Was…was he holding a gun? I gasped quietly as my fingers dug harder into the fabric of Yunho’s jacket and I heard the Chan guy cackle before his footsteps stared fading away. Yunho, however, didn’t move and I was too scared to do so as I realized I had started shaking. Suddenly, my head was being pulled back by Yunho’s hand on my nape and we made eye contact as he looked down at me menacingly.
“Not a word to anyone.” I exhaled shakily and frantically nodded my head as I dared to take a glance at his other hand, which, to my horror, held a black gun. My blood ran cold as Yunho released me at the same time as he put his gun away, behind himself, probably in the belt of his jeans, “Let’s go.”
And the rest of the walk was silent and hurried as I almost ran to finally get home, confused and scared and needing a shit ton of answers to the questions swirling in my head, which Yunho was probably unwilling to give. I valued my life above all, and therefore I remained silent, besides, the anger oozing off of him was enough to shut me up despite my sparkling curiosity. Who the hell was Jeong Yunho?
Tumblr media
The next day I did everything in me to forget about last night’s endeavors and about Jeong Yunho. I could act like nothing happened, like it was all just a dream. And everything was going well, until…until Yunho and I crossed paths in our university’s hallway. Well, we didn’t actually cross paths, but we saw each other briefly as I was walking with my best friend to class and Yunho was headed towards the stairs, the two of us on the two opposite ends of the long hallway. My friend was talking about the book she was currently reading and I would hum or nod along to her words, letting her know that I was paying attention despite being silent as we walked, my hands gripping the straps of my backpack. I nodded in agreement at her characterization of a character we both enjoyed from the book, when I finally looked ahead and my mind blanked. It certainly did feel like last night was a fever dream as Yunho stood on the other end of the hallway, black hair falling in soft curls against his forehead with his rainbow-colored sweater hanging loosely around his frame, big hands disappearing in the sleeves of it. His jeans were a faded grey and he was laughing as he talked to someone, eyes disappearing and cheeks puffed out. He looked nothing like the guy from last night and it gave me whiplash as his menacing and threatening eyes flashed before my eyes just as Yunho suddenly looked ahead, his eyes finding mine, looking at me with the warmest gaze anyone could muster up. I realized I was gaping, but I couldn’t help it when my brain convinced me that Jeong Yunho from right now and Jeong Yunho from last night weren’t the same person.
“Are you staring at Yunho right now?” My best friend’s voice finally snapped me out of my staring and I looked at her with the same wide eyes.
“I—yeah, but—” I needed to get it together, “That’s not Jeong Yunho.”
“Uh,” My friend looked at me like I had grown another head, “then who is he?”
“I don’t know, but—” I let out a long huff, eyebrows furrowing as I looked back at Yunho, “but that’s not the same guy from last night, I’m telling you.”
I could see the confusion on my friend’s face as she looked towards Yunho, crossing her arms in front of her chest, “He looks like—Yunho. I mean, what are we even talking about right now? Did you hit your head or something?”
“Stop it.” I snapped at her and pushed at her shoulder in frustration, making my friend glare at me, “He must have two personalities or something.”
“That’s not a very nice thing to say about someone, Y/N.” My friend chastised me and I groaned in frustration. Of course she wouldn’t understand. She wasn’t there. She didn’t see the Yunho I have. Coming to think of it…I don’t think anyone had from around here, seeing as everyone was flocking towards him and acting so freely with him. His laughter carried down the hallway and it was soft, his cheeks slightly rosy as a girl leaned too close to him and he averted his gaze shyly. He was void of all the accessories he had been wearing last night and his clothes were what I was used to seeing him wear on a daily basis. He kept shifting from one foot to another as a guy threw his arm around Yunho’s shoulders as the two giggled about something, Yunho covering his mouth before whispering something to him back with a cheeky smile. The image of him holding a gun suddenly flashed behind my eyes and I jumped, sucking in a sharp breath of air. My friend looked at me like I was crazy and I averted my eyes from Yunho, looking at her like I have seen a ghost.
“There’s something very wrong with that guy, I’m telling you.” I muttered as I grabbed her wrist and pulled her in the opposite direction, scared of facing Yunho after his weird personality shifts.
“You sound super crazy right now, bestie.” I rolled my eyes and huffed as my best friend taunted, cackling when she saw the discontentment on my face.
And the days passed just like that. Jeong Yunho, wearing every existing bright color, avoiding eye contact when he felt shy and hiding behind his hand when he laughed a little too hard. His cheeks had a flush to them constantly and he would carefully arrange his wavy bangs against his forehead. It was confusing. I was becoming convinced with each passing day that what had happened that night was just a fever dream, and that it was so real that my mind decided to believe it. Perhaps I was lucid dreaming or something, it wouldn’t be the first time. Two weeks had gone by since my strange encounter with Yunho and I have finally come to terms with the fact that maybe what happened wasn’t even real. It couldn’t have been, not when Yunho didn’t even glance my way once. Not when he remained the bright and lovely popular boy and I…continued almost missing my deadlines, which meant I was coped up in the library currently, searching for the book I needed without having much luck in finding it. I was too lazy to ask the librarian as I would need to descend the stairs, so I instead grew more and more frustrated as I stomped around between the bookcases. I was surely disturbing someone, but I didn’t care. Eyes set on the books, one title caught my attention and I stopped, hoping that it was the book I needed. It was at eye level and I pulled it back just enough to be able to see the cover and title of it. I felt like banging my head against the shelf when I realized it wasn’t the book I needed, and with a very loud sigh/groan, I pushed it back harshly, almost screaming when a human head was casually leaning against the bookshelf next to the book I had just examined. My heart beat like crazy as I gaped at Yunho, his warm eyes twinkling with amusement as his eyebrows were slightly furrowed. His baby pink shirt hugged his frame messily as the collar fell a little low, showing off the smooth skin of left shoulder, and his dark green cargo pants were an interesting choice to wear. Yeah, this was the Jeong Yunho I knew. Dressing quirky and looking almost like an oversized puppy as his lips were pushed into a pout. I couldn’t find any words to say so I just scrambled through my brain for something, pushing my hair behind my ears as Yunho continued staring. It was becoming too much, his gaze.
“What?” I managed to say, still at a loss and not knowing how I should approach him.
“Hi.” His lips suddenly pulled up into the brightest smile I had ever seen, and his eyes twinkled with so much warmth that I took a step back. I’m going crazy, aren’t I?
“Hi.” I willed myself to greet him back, taking another step back as Yunho took one towards me, smile still on his face. He didn’t say anything else as he proceeded to come closer and closer, making me chuckle nervously as I continued putting distance between the two of us, not for long though. My back soon ran into the bookshelf and I internally whined as it cut into my back sharply. Yunho came closer, caging me in between the bookshelf and his body, making my heart somersault as I looked up at him confused, but intrigued. He was still smiling, still looking as friendly as ever, still the bright and well-liked guy from our university. Suddenly, his arms raised and were placed on each side of my head, slightly above. Yunho went and leaned down a bit, crooking an eyebrow as my eyes widened and body shrunk against the hard shelf. His musky cologne wrapped around me once again, and the events of that night flashed before my eyes without a warning.
“What are you doing?!” I whispered, sounding panicked as Yunho looked almost confused by my reaction. Almost as if it didn’t make sense that I was reaction to him like this. But I had every reason to, I can’t be crazy.
“I’m looking for a book,” He said with a light tone, expression calm, “this is the medical section. You know I’m studying to become a doctor, right?”
“No.” My answer was instant; I had no idea what his major was. I only heard rumors about how great he is, not about what he does or studies here.
“Oh, now you know.” Yunho said surprised and looked above my head, grinning happily as he reached out. What the hell was happening?
“You’re majoring in architecture, right?” I nodded wordlessly, confused as to how he knew once again something about me. I never told him. Just like with my name.
“So, did the librarian tell you this too about me?” I asked, sounding a little accusatory, as I raised an eyebrow at Yunho. He chuckled and shook his head, looking down at me in amusement.
“Not quite, I figured it out when I saw you leaving class a good while ago.” Right. He saw me leaving class. Sure. My eyes narrowed at him and I licked my lips, about to slip away and go on my merry way as this whole interaction was weird and confusing, but as if Yunho read my mind, he stepped even closer, the front of our boots touching. I looked up at him alarmed, eyes widening as Yunho lowered one arm, holding a book.
“This is so weird,” I muttered to myself, feeling uncomfortable, “Is there something wrong with you?”
My question was quite offensive and I didn’t think it through before I said it out loud, but it didn’t seem to affect Yunho as he started giggling quietly, eyes becoming smaller as his cheeks flushed. How was this the same man from that night? Did he have a twin or something? Why would his name be Yunho too? Was he fucking around with me? Or did he just have multiple personalities?
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with me, angel.” My body tensed at the nickname and I watched as Yunho composed himself, and yet, the Yunho suddenly caging me against the shelf wasn’t the same Yunho from just a second ago. The friendliness and warmth slipped from his face as his eyes slightly narrowed, darkening as a smirk appeared on his lips instead of the cute smile he directed at everyone. My heart started beating faster as he bit his lower lip, leaning down even more to be eye level with me, making my breath catch in my throat, “Do you think there’s something wrong with me?”
“Something very wrong.” I managed to whisper as Yunho chuckled darkly, the knuckles of his free hand suddenly grazing against my cheek. I flinched, but didn’t pull away as his eyes ran over my face. The way his wavy hair fell in his eyes made them look sharper. He oozed danger and my mind screamed at me to high tail it out of there, yet my feet remained planted.
“There’s nothing wrong with someone who has a colorful personality, angel,” Yunho’s deep voice rang through my ears as he leaned in to whisper in my left ear, goosebumps erupting on my skin, “Have you told anyone about our encounter from that night?”
I quickly shook my head no and Yunho smirked, pulling back and gripping my chin tightly, yanking me forward and knocking the wind out of my lungs, “Good girl, keep doing that. I’m afraid something might happen to you if you decide to blabber on about it to someone.”
I shuddered as his piercing gaze kept me locked in, a whisper barely passing between my lips, “Like what?”
The sinister look which crossed Yunho’s face felt like a punch to my gut and I suddenly remembered the gun he owned. He’d shoot me. He’d kill me. Of course he would, something told me he wouldn’t hesitate or think twice about it.
“I would have to punish you—” He bit his lower lip as he paused for a second, making me realize I started shaking, “And not in the way I would love to.”
“Fuck.” I muttered, gripping his wrist and lightly pushing against it. His words were meant to be threatening, and they were, I was shaking after all…but his words also did something to me as my stomach twisted and body shivered, eyes subsequentially falling onto his red and plush lips. Yunho’s smirk widened and he leaned so incredibly close that I could feel his breath hitting my lips, his skin seemingly flawless from up close. My fingers closed around his wrist tighter as my back melted into the bookshelf behind me.
“Let’s keep it our little secret for now, angel.” His thumb swept against the skin of my chin, my face flaming at the motion, “And I shall reward you if you’re a good girl.”
“How?” I whispered, looking into Yunho’s dark eyes.
“You shall wait and see.” He winked and before I could think more about his words, he was gone just as quickly as he had come. I was left blinking confused at nothing and struggling to breathe regularly as Yunho’s warm, and big, hand left my skin burning where he had touched. What have I indirectly gotten myself involved into?

Things happened the same way like the first time after my strange encounter with Yunho in the library. He didn’t look my way, he didn’t acknowledge me, he didn’t speak to me for at least a good two weeks. It was weird, everything he was doing. I had so many unanswered questions, but I pushed them to the back of my mind and hoped that whatever weird thing going on between Yunho and I would stop for good now. I didn’t want to get tangled up in something which felt so unsure and dangerous. I still haven’t forgotten the gun Yunho owned nor the conversation between him and that Chan guy. Even a dumb person would’ve understood that there was something illegal, at least, going on between the two of them and I didn’t want to get involved. However, the radio silence didn’t last for long as it was another Thursday and I was closing up the small convenience store I was currently working at. I had the evening shift again; the clock was close to hitting midnight and it was snowing heavily outside. I sighed when I realized I would have to walk twenty minutes just to get home. There were no signs of snow half an hour ago, it came out of the blue and I watched as a group of teenagers ran past the convenience store laughing loudly and having a snowball fight. I couldn’t share their joy as I shrugged on my coat, the weather had been nice today, I thought it wouldn’t get cold and thus abandoned my thick winter jacket, which I came to regret now. I switched off the lights and braced myself for the cold as I pushed open the door and instantly shuddered. There was a freezing chill in the air and it clung to my body as I quickly tightened the scarf around my neck, at least I had half a mind to bring one with myself. I struggled for a few seconds with the lock, it's been acting up for a while now but the owner didn’t bother to fix it, until I heard a click and pushed against the door, making sure I have truly locked it. I whirled around to stalk off towards the bus stop, with little hope that the last bus hadn’t went by already. However, I was quickly forced to stop by the sight in front of me. Yunho, painfully underdressed for the current weather, stood leaning against a black massive car. It was an SUV, a very expensive looking one.
“Evening, angel.” My jaw shouldn’t have almost hit the pavement, but I couldn’t help but gape at him. What was he doing here? Why was he here? Was that his car? How? Was he rich? Now that I come to think of it, I have no idea what Yunho does outside of university or the type of family he comes from. The sudden realization of knowing exactly nothing about him besides the persona he paints himself as was startling as a sly grin crossed Yunho’s features. It made my stomach flip.
“What are you doing?” I managed to ask, reluctantly walking closer to him. Yunho pushed his hands inside the pockets of his leather jacket, which looked thicker than the one he wore on the night he had to save me from those two creeps. His jeans were ripped and black and a very tight, form fitting, white shirt clung onto his well-defined body. With a black baseball cap over his wavy hair he looked extremely handsome underneath the street light, I had to stop myself from letting my eyes wander all over his body once again.
“Saw how hard it started to snow,” Yunho spoke up casually, smirking when I stopped a few feet away from him, “Figured you might just take the shortcut again, so, I’m here to pick you up.”
“No, you’re not.” My answer rushed through my lips instantly and I looked at him startled, slightly taking a step back as Yunho pushed off his car, “I am perfectly capable of walking home and besides—I might still catch the last bus.”
“It went by while you were still locking up, angel, just accept my offer and stop being so stubborn.” Yunho sounded slightly irritated as he walked closer, head lowered so that I was able to see his eyes from this angle. They were narrowed and I gulped, realizing that he wasn’t playing nice nor would act goofy like at university, this was the weird and intimidating version of Yunho.
“Excuse me if I’m hesitant in accepting your offer, Yunho,” I snapped, slightly fed up with the constant whiplash this guy was giving me, “But I have no actual idea who you are and so far you’ve been acting like a stalker. You know my name, you know my major, you randomly show up when I’m in trouble and then you walk me home despite my complaints. You proceed to act completely different than the guy I’m used to seeing at university and you have strange conversations with weird people who are threatening you and are calling me yours like I’m simply just a piece to be put on display and you—you have a gun! And you’ve threatened someone with it. So, yeah, I don’t exactly want to get in your car for you to—drive me home? Or kill me. Or do something else to me.”
“If I wanted to do something to you or harm you I would’ve already done so, Y/N, I had plenty of chances for that.” My jaw hung open once again at Yunho’s instant reply, heart hammering at his admission. Is this seriously the only thing he’s taken from my rant? Which felt good to finally get off my chest, but it seemed to make no difference as Yunho shook his head lightly and suddenly invaded my personal space, taking me completely off-guard, “Who I am at university and who I am outside of it might seem like two completely different people to you, but it’s me. I’m not always happy, and goofy, and I’m not always in a good mood. I just don’t like showing the real me around people.”
“I am people, so what’s different?” I scoffed, glaring up at him, “We don’t even know each other so I don’t understand why you feel the need to drop your act around me.”
“Would you prefer me acting all fake, then?” Yunho’s tone was harsh and his face read displeasure as I allowed my eyes to soak in his expression. Would I prefer that? It was the Yunho I was accustomed to, but would I like that?
“I don’t know,” I managed to mutter out, averting my eyes when Yunho’s dark gaze became too much, “I guess I’m just used to that version of you and this—feels weird, perhaps scary.”
Yunho suddenly sighed and his shoulders slightly dropped as he looked up at the sky, his smooth skin glinting under the streetlamp, “I’m sorry if I scared you, that wasn’t my intention.”
I chewed on my bottom lip as Yunho looked at me again, our gazes connecting. He was sincere, his eyes were shinning with honesty and an almost innocent like gleam, just like the one I was used to seeing. I hummed wordlessly and looked away, feeling slightly more at ease in his presence. He just sighed quietly and I heard shuffling before I felt the weight of a big hand pressing against the top of my head. I looked up at Yunho wide eyed as he started patting my hair, almost as if he was flicking something out of it. The snowflakes, probably. My cheeks flamed at his action.
“Will you let me drive you home, then?” Yunho asked again, voice softer this time and features relaxed, “I don’t want you walking around late at night and in this weather.”
“Alright,” I gave in, clearing my throat as Yunho suddenly grinned widely, “But you should be worried more about yourself, you’re barely wearing anything.”
It made Yunho chuckle as he headed for the passenger seat’s side and opened the door for me. I muttered a small thank you as I carefully slid inside.
“I’m rarely ever cold.” Yunho said with a cheeky wink before closing the door and jogging around to the driver’s side. I allowed myself a quick check-out of the car, eyes widening when I saw the emblem on the wheel. I was sitting inside a Maserati Levante. Just how did Yunho afford this car? The seats were of black leather and it was definitely heated as I felt my body warm up quickly as the engine has been left on. Yunho grinned as he slid inside and quickly buckled his seatbelt, reminding me to do the same as he put on the blinker, signaling that he would drive off now. The car slowly started rolling, pulling away from the store as I gazed out the window, feeling slightly awkward that I was now enclosed in such a small space with Yunho. I took a quick peek at him and watched him gripping the steering wheel lazily, hair framing his face as tonight it wasn’t as wavy as usually. His eyes were set on the road and he licked his lips before glancing at me, making me quickly look back outside the window, hating the way my cheeks instantly flushed. And as we drove by the bus stop, my eyes widened when I spotted the bus which would’ve taken me home.
“You said the bus went by already!” I exclaimed and turned to look at Yunho slightly offended.
“Oh,” He hummed but by the smugness coating his face I knew he had lied on purpose, “my bad, thought I had seen your bus.”
I scoffed and shook my head, melting into the warm seat as I glared ahead, ignoring the fluttering feeling of butterflies in my stomach at the thought that Yunho only lied because he wanted to drive me home. Perhaps he wasn’t so awful at all times.

Despite me feeling like Yunho brushed over my outburst that night, he seemed to change a bit. He started gradually approaching me at university and even hung out with me during our shared lunch breaks. He also started stopping by the convenience store whenever he had free time and I soon came to know that he lived just a few blocks away from it. Which was a surprise because I have been assuming he lived in some fancy rich neighborhood due to the car he was driving. Nobody really seemed to question our suddenly blooming friendship, although I felt like we still had a long way to go, and Yunho also stopped being so mysterious. He still didn’t answer all of my questions and often changed the subject when I asked about that first night, so I stopped asking about it after a while. I figured that I might get him to tell me at some point, and if not, I could always start asking around. People loved to gossip and maybe they would know something about this Chan guy who had called Yunho a few times while we were hanging out, but he always declined his calls. Tonight was supposed to be a chill night, but my best friend decided that she has had enough of staying at home every Friday and thus dragged us to a house party not far from our university. It was a half an hour walk away from my flat, so we opted to walk and just grab a cab on our way back. The house was large and packed with people as we made our way inside and I sighed at the sight of so many familiar faces. Almost everyone from our university was here and I realized I was tricked into coming to a party organized for our university specifically. My best friend just giggled as I have her a glare, already hating the fact that I had to stay here for hours and hours as she was in the mood to party. The only savior I found at the moment was alcohol, so the two of us made our way into the kitchen, both grabbing some beer from the fridge. Apparently, my best friend knew the host of the party and got us invited easily.
“I really needed this.” My best friend said as she threw her head back, downing half of her beer in one go. I raised my eyebrows at her as I sipped on mine casually.
“I can see that.” I chuckled and allowed my eyes to wander around the kitchen, taking in the faces. A few people above our grade were gathered around the sink, laughing about something and pointing at something. I wasn’t further interested, so I averted my eyes and noticed two friends of Yunho’s.  They were standing in the corner and laughing about something as the taller one had his phone out. My staring must’ve been insistent as he looked up and we made eye contact, a smile appearing on his lips. He smiled and waved as he called us over. Due to Yunho and I hanging out more often lately, he was quick to introduce me to his friend group. They were a nice bunch but a bit too energetic and happy for my liking. My best friend, however, was totally into their vibe and would beg me to hang out with them. It was fine, I knew she wanted to make some new friends and these guys were nice and…handsome.
“Hi!” Mingi was quick to greet us happily and I smiled at him, waving at Seonghwa as my best friend went and hugged him. The two seemed to click instantly, it was nice to see.
“Was it you who urged Sooyoung to come to this party?” I asked Mingi accusingly and he laughed as he looked down.
“It was actually her who gave us the idea of coming here tonight.” I hummed and threw a knowing look at my best friend as she didn’t bother focusing on Mingi and I, already wrapped up in a conversation with Seonghwa.
“I see, I should’ve known.” I chuckled and Mingi nodded while putting his phone away. It was a little unusual that these two were here without Yunho, but I didn’t question it. I knew he wasn’t a big fan of parties and besides, he didn’t tell me he would be coming. Therefore I didn’t expect to see him here.
“Did you finish your project?” I asked Mingi, remembering him complain about it two days ago. Mingi’s shoulder slumped and he started pouting as he stole my beer swiftly.
“Almost, I have to design the garden and then I’m done.” Mingi was a landscape architecture major and he was always busy with projects, barely out of the house if it wasn’t for Seonghwa and Yunho dragging him to places. He was quite dedicated to his work and it was admirable. Especially when I could barely find any inspiration to do my assignments. Whenever we shared a few of our classes I was amazed by his knowledge and drive to learn even more.
“That’s good, you’ve got this, Mingi.” I gave him an encouraging smile and he chuckled, looking at me knowingly.
“So, did you start your design?” I fake laughed and took a swing of my beer after taking it back from Mingi.
“You know me, I’ll do it two or three days before the deadline.”
“At this point I’m afraid you’ll fail.” Mingi’s eyebrows furrowed and I chuckled, shrugging.
“Don’t worry, I function best under pressure.” I saluted him mockingly and Mingi chuckled, soon our attention on Seonghwa as him and Sooyoung approached us.
“I really want to dance,” Seonghwa said, drunkenly gazing at Mingi, “Are you coming?”
Mingi just sighed but stood up, throwing an arm around Seonghwa’s shoulders, “Of course, I’m coming. Someone needs to make sure you don’t trip over your own legs.”
Sooyoung and I chuckled as we followed after the two boys despite me not being too fond of the idea. I didn’t feel like dancing tonight, but I didn’t want to leave Sooyoung alone, and besides, I could see it in Mingi’s eyes that he didn’t want to be alone with the two. Whatever was going on between them, which both were denying, was pretty obvious.
The music was loud in the bigger room compared to the kitchen and I looked around, realizing it must’ve been a sort of library hence the bookcases on both sides of the room were filled with books. My heart broke a bit for the books, I could only hope no one was stupid enough to damage them. Otherwise the room was cleared up and there was a table with a mixing console on it, the DJ standing behind it and playing trendy songs everyone seemed to enjoy. The bas thrummed against my chest and I downed my beer in one go before I pushed through the crowd, making way for myself and my friends. Somewhere in the middle we found a good spot and formed a circle starting to dance.
I couldn’t tell how much time passed before I needed to use the restroom, but just as I went to tell Mingi I would be leaving for a few minutes, he leaned in to tell me that he needed some air. And so, after telling Seonghwa and Sooyoung where we were headed, Mingi and I took off hand in hand towards the exit. We agreed on meeting in the kitchen in around ten minutes before heading back to our friends, and so we parted, going on our way. The bathroom was in the far back of the house and I was thankful as the music didn’t reach here, I could finally hear my thoughts. The air was gradually better too compared to the suffocating heath in the library like room. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long to make it inside the bathroom and I was quick in doing my business, washing my hands thoroughly before splashing some cold water on my face, tapping it against my flaming skin. Perhaps I should join Mingi outside for a second before grabbing another drink. I huffed and smoothed down the top of my hair, baby hairs all over the place, before I unlocked the door and left the quiet bathroom. The hallways had no lights but it was fine as the living room was well lit up and it poured out here too. There was a staircase leading upstairs, but it was barricaded off and I knew not to go upstairs even if I wanted to. Just as I went to walk past the staircase, someone collided into my shoulder, knocking me slightly backwards. I gasped in surprise and looked back, surprised to see a slightly familiar face. The guy was younger, and he quickly apologized before a look of recognition crossed his features. Despite it being almost two months ago, I remembered his name. Chan. The guy Yunho threatened with a gun. I gulped and accepted his apology, about to walk off when he spoke up again.
“Don’t I know you?” He asked with narrowed eyes and I cursed silently, facing him again.
“Uh, barely.” I offered with a small smile and Chan hummed, eyebrows furrowing.
“Weren’t you with Yunho once?” So he remembered too, huh.
“Chan, right?” I raised an eyebrow and suddenly the guy was grinning and extending his hand towards me to shake.
“Knew it,” He said with a chuckle as I reluctantly shook his hand, “I don’t know your name though.”
“It’s Y/N.” I introduced myself and Chan smiled, his grip lingering for a second longer than necessary. It unsettled me as I cleared my throat and very obviously made to leave, but Chan seemed like he wanted to talk a little bit more.
“I had no idea you knew Jeonghan.” My eyebrows raised at the name and I thought for a second until I realized he was the host.
“I don’t, my best friend does though.” I explained and Chan hummed, a small smirk appearing on his lips.
“Now that I come to think of it,” He took a step forward and I willed myself to not move backwards, “Yunho never mentioned you again after that night.”
Oh, well…that didn’t feel nice to know. I thought we were sort of friends by now, but maybe Yunho needed more time. Our relationship dynamic was still weird and most of times I didn’t know where to put us, so maybe Yunho was feeling the same way. Or maybe there was something dangerous about this guy and Yunho just simply avoided talking about me in his presence. Our encounter that night felt almost fresh in my memories and I willed myself to not think about the gun pointed at this younger guy.
“He must have a reason, then.” I found myself answering with a cold smile, ready to excuse myself finally, “My friend is waiting for me—”
“Just because he doesn’t mention you doesn’t mean we don’t know about you, Y/N.” His sinister smile and cold tone sent a chill down my spine and my eyebrows furrowed as I looked at Chan, “Do you have a tattoo?”
That was a very random question, one that took me off guard as my eyebrows raised, “Uh, no, I—”
“What a pleasant sight, Lee Chan.” A sharp tone cut me off and I turned my head to see Yunho approaching us in all of his tall glory. His glare was sharp and body stiff as he came to a stop next to me, instantly pressing his warm palm against the small of my back. It made me straighten up slightly as I gazed at Yunho’s profile, surprised to see him here.
“Thought you weren’t coming, Yunho.” Chan said with a chuckle, eyes falling between the two of us and the non-existent space between our bodies as Yunho pressed up against me, his musky cologne invading my senses.
“Maybe you should check on your friend, Chan, he might be unable to walk for a week or two.” The dark smirk which crossed Yunho’s lips made me gulp, and I watched as Chan’s expression fell, suddenly it felt like we were back to that chilly night out on the street.
“You son of a bitch,” Chan hissed and marched up to Yunho, who didn’t even as a little as flinched, “What did you do to Hansol?”
“Nothing he won’t survive.” My eyebrows furrowed as I looked up at Yunho, who seemed to be unbothered by my piercing gaze. Chan hissed under his breath and with one lasting glare quickly stormed off, grabbing for his phone as he raced towards the front door. I released a breath I didn’t know I had been holding just as Yunho faced me, and I took in his attire in surprise. His black long-sleeved blouse was tight and was unclasped down to his chest, blank ink peeking through from underneath on his left pectoral. His outfit was completed by black leather pants and his black hair, which fell messily against his forehead. I was snapped out of my staring the second I felt Yunho caging me in against the railing of the staircase, big palm still pressing against the small of my back, eyes very slowly dragging up from his exposed milky chest to his chocolate warm brown eyes, which were narrowed and carried a hint of frustration.
“What did he want?” His voice was low and it brought a flush to my cheeks as I looked up at him, suddenly all too aware of the lack of space between us.
“Nothing much.” I muttered with a shrug, but Yunho didn’t seem to believe me as he lowered his head, eyes boring into mine. His gaze made my skin crawl and my fingers twitched as I placed my hands behind my back, doing everything in me I could to focus on his eyes and not on his cherry red plush lips, which were too close to my face all of a sudden.
“Don’t lie to me.” His right knuckles grazed against the skin of my cheek and I gulped as something coiled in my stomach. Was I this transparent? He could read me so easily.
“He just asked if I have a tattoo or something.” I answered after a beat of silence and Yunho’s eyebrows slightly furrowed as I dared to peek at his chest again, the ink more visible because of his stance. The collar of his shirt fell lower and I could make out a thick line which went in a circle and the tip of a letter, perhaps A?
“And what did you say?” His forefinger was suddenly underneath my chin as he tipped my head back, pulling my eyes away from his chest. I blushed furiously because of the amusement in Yunho’s eyes and the wide smirk on his lips, I was caught staring. His voice was low and breathy and I bit my lower lip for a second, trying to ignore his proximity and scent as his head seemed to be even closer to mine right now.
“No—nothing,” I exhaled and licked my lips, “you got here when I was answering him.”
“Good girl.” My legs shouldn’t have almost given out at his praise, but my mind wasn’t clear anymore. Yunho’s scent and proximity were intoxicating and I sure as hell wasn’t drunk from one beer, but everything about Yunho made me feel like it. I don’t know when it happened, but I couldn’t pull my eyes off Yunho whenever we were hanging out. And when we were at university, I was just like the others, flocking towards his bright and warm aura, desperate for his attention at times. When it was just the two of us, I yearned for his warmth and dangerous eyes, often breathless when his voice dropped to chastise me for something. When we hung out with our circle of close friends, I wanted his undivided attention on myself only. I had come to realize that Jeong Yunho was insanely good-looking and his mysterious aura was nothing but a little spark which made him even more irresistible.
“Wanna get out of here?” I heard him asking once I was done daydreaming, “I know you don’t like parties.”
I nodded wordlessly and as Yunho slowly, without breaking eye contact, pulled away I almost chased after him, hands balling up into fists in order to prevent myself of doing something I might regret later. There wasn’t a label to our relationship, but friends certainly didn’t want to fuck each other, therefore I needed to keep myself in check and control my desires.
After letting our friends know that Yunho and I would be leaving we got our jackets and went up to Yunho’s car. It was slightly dirty, which made me wonder where he had been as he had a habit of keeping his car crystal clean, even just a speck of dust made him wash it. The car ride was quicker than I expected as we flew through the quiet city, lights blurring at the speed Yunho was driving. He wasn’t a reckless driver, but it seemed like he was eager to get home. I couldn’t blame him, there was nothing better than the feeling of finally reaching home after a long and tiring day. I could imagine Yunho’s had been the same after he texted me in the morning that he had some business outside of the city and wouldn’t attend his classes, therefore we wouldn’t meet up. It was a surprise that he even made it to the party. It wasn’t the first time Yunho and I hung out in his apartment, but it was the first time I had come here so late and without a real purpose. Usually we huddled together to study, Yunho’s determination finally rubbing off on me to do to my assignments in time or when our friend group wanted to hang out and have a chill night.
After Yunho and I got settled, he went and grabbed a bottle of red wine, saying he needed it after the day he had. I didn’t complain as I watched him from the couch, body turned around and eyes running all over his frame. The clothes he wore did an amazing job at showing off his forms and I couldn’t help it but linger on his shoulders and waist as he had his back to me, grabbing around his counter while he had the wine in front of him. He popped it open without much struggle and then poured some red wine in two glasses, putting the bottle away. I watched as he turned around and leaned his hips against the counter, crossing one arm over his chest as he grabbed a glass and raised it to his lips, closing his eyes. He took a small sniff of the beverage before taking a long sip, letting out a content sigh. The image shouldn’t have made the hairs on my skin stand, yet all I could do was watch and gulp, mind blank until Yunho’s dark eyes snapped open and he smiled. It was mischievous as he spoke up.
“Won’t you get yours?” He pointed at the second glass and I hummed, wondering whether I should mix beer and wine, but it’s been a few hours since I last had beer. Besides, I was feeling fine. It shouldn’t do any damage. So, I pushed off the couch and approached him carefully, feeling fidgety under his sharp gaze. His eyes followed my every step as I stopped next to him and grabbed the glass, copying him. I sniffed it before I took a careful sip of it, the sweet taste exploding in my mouth. I hummed and took a bigger sip, appreciative of its taste. Yunho was smiling as he sipped his, and we remained standing like that as I tried to find anything to look at which wasn’t Yunho. The silence wasn’t uncomfortable, but it was getting too much and I felt like I needed to break it, so I spoke up, “You never told me you had a tattoo.”
Yunho eyebrows slightly raised, almost surprised that I knew, until he glanced down at himself and chuckled, “Ah, I forgot this blouse was low cut.”
“It’s not low cut,” I snickered, “You’re just wearing it like that.”
“Are you saying I should button up?” He asked with a playful smirk and I just smiled while shrugging. If he did that perhaps I would stop staring, but I wasn’t about to say that to him.
“So…does it mean anything?” I asked nonchalantly, having now an excuse to look at his exposed chest as Yunho glanced down too. He remained silent as he looked up, eyes searching my face for a few seconds before he lowered his glass on the counter.
“Not one you’re expecting to hear.” He said lowly and I raised an eyebrow as he suddenly stepped closer, looking down at me with a serious expression and darkening eyes, “Do you want to know?”
I gulped and busied myself with the glass I had in my hand as I looked down at it, pursing my lips in thought. I was trying to ignore the rapid beating of my heart but Yunho took away my only distraction as he took the glass from my hands and placed it on the counter next to his, now I was forced to look at him.
“I guess.” I muttered, hoping he couldn’t hear the shake of my voice. His scent was once again all around me and it was hard to focus on anything he was saying.
“But if I tell you…” He took a step forward, making me step back and collide into the counter, “and you tell anyone…”
My body tensed as he reached forward and pressed his thumb against my lower lip, eyes focused on my lips, “I will have to kill you, angel.”
I gulped as I shuddered, and Yunho lightly dragged my lower lip down, licking his lips as we looked at each other. His gaze was challenging and dark, lips about to break into a sneer as I was scared but intrigued, “I won’t tell anyone.”
“How can I know for sure?” Was he testing me? His voice dropped to an almost whisper and he cocked his head to the side, eyebrows raised almost mockingly, “You have a vengeful personality, who knows what you’ll blabber on about if I happen to hurt you.”
“Don’t hurt me then.” I snapped and Yunho chuckled, but there was nothing amusing about it.
“Are you reckless or simply dumb?” He was taunting me and I didn’t like it. I grabbed his wrist and glared at him, pulling his hand back and thumb off my lips.
“That’s some nerve coming from someone who was everywhere I went and knows everything about me without actually knowing me.” Yunho’s lips pulled up into an amused grin at the way I snapped at him, nose scrunched in annoyance.
“I’m in a gang,” He stepped impossibly close and placed both hands on the counter on both sides of body, “A very dangerous gang, the tattoo is to signify where I belong to.”
I gulped, slightly thrown off. I was expecting many reasons to answer the enigma around Yunho, but I didn’t exactly envision him being involved into gang activities or the mafia, even. Was he just simply not saying? Wouldn’t be the first time he lied to me.
“Why did Chan ask if I have a tattoo?” My voice was hard and I tried not to shake when I felt Yunho’s large hands gripping my waist. His hold was firm, like he was afraid I would run away.
“Because,” Yunho licked his lips as he lowered his head so I didn’t have to crane my neck up so high, “if you’re mine you have to get the tattoo as well.”
“But I’m not yours.” I quickly said as I tried to process everything and ignore the way Yunho’s grip tightened around my hips and jaw clenched, “And I don’t want to have a tattoo.”
“Then you won’t have one,” Yunho’s tongue peeked out as he liked his lips swiftly, his eyes glued onto my lips, “But you are mine, Y/N.”
Before I could ask him since when, Yunho closed the gap between us and pressed his plush lips against mine. I didn’t mean to flinch, but it was unexpected and rough as his hands on my waist pushed me up onto the counter, easing the height difference a little between us. I kissed back when I felt him about to pull back, probably thrown off by my lack of response, and Yunho was quick to smash his lips against mine with a fever, setting a hasty and messy rhythm as my head was tilted back and arms circled around his shoulders. It was everything I have envisioned and yet nothing like it. His lips were plush and warm yet rough and relentless as he bit at my lower lip, almost as if he was trying to inhale the whole of me. His scent was the only thing I could smell around us and my brain was fogged up as Yunho’s lean body pressed into mine, pushing me flushed against himself by placing his hand on my back. My legs parted wider, making more space for Yunho as one of my hands traveled towards his hair, gripping at the black wavy strands firmly. His warmth was overwhelming and it made me breathless as his large hand wrapped around my neck as if he needed something to hold onto. My lungs were screaming for air and I pulled back once it got too much, lightheaded as I leaned forward, teeth attaching against the soft skin of Yunho’s neck. His chest was falling and rising rapidly, just as breathless as I was feeling, the hand from my neck traveling to my nape as I pressed open mouthed kisses against his skin, lips trailing down to his collarbone. Yunho groaned when I bit lightly at it, teasing and licking, before I was pulled back and forcefully met with lips against my own. It didn’t take long for Yunho to push his tongue against my lips, asking for permission. I opened up without hesitation, letting him take the lead as his wet tongue licked against mine, humming, the vibrations traveling through my whole body as I pulled on the smaller strands of his hair. Yunho tasted like the red wine he just had, sweet and so intoxicating that I couldn’t get enough of him. His tongue explored my mouth as my hips bucked against him and I wasn’t surprised to find him just as affected as I was feeling. I could feel him through his leather pants and the friction was much needed against my throbbing core as I grinded against him once again, catching his lower lip between my teeth as he went to pull back. Yunho’s eyes were the darkest I had ever seen them and his cheeks were lightly flushed as he grabbed my nape firmly, jaw clenching and lips plump from the kissing.
“Bedroom, right now.” His voice was raspy and it sent a chill down my spine as I quickly clung onto him, legs firm around his waist as he walked us to his bedroom, large hands holding me up by my ass and allowing me to grind against him as Yunho groaned and nipped at my lower lip until we were standing in his dark bedroom. He carefully lowered me and onto the ground and I was quick to get rid of my jeans and shirt, helping Yunho in undoing the zipper of his leather pants as he had gotten rid of his blouse. I allowed myself to stare unabashedly at his body, taking in his lean but muscular form as he towered over me, stomach well defined and thighs thick. It was a sight worthy for drooling and I snapped out of it when Yunho started walking me backwards, not expecting me to palm him through his boxers. He sucked in a harsh breath and allowed me to feel him up and massage him before I was pushed down onto the bed by my shoulders. I scooted back before he crawled towards me and leaned down to press kisses against my neck and shoulder, tongue flattening against the flush skin of my collarbones before he sucked hard at a patch of skin, making me groan at the sting. His kisses didn’t stop there as he kissed down between my breasts, biting at the skin before he continued, all the way down to my stomach. I was panting and itching to grip onto his hair, but his face was in front of mine in an instant and he kissed me breathless once again. My nails dug into his back as my hands roamed over it, mapping every flaw of his skin, soaking in his warmth. Before I could register it, his fingers were ghosting over my thigh and slowly itching closer to my panties. I groaned into his mouth as he yanked them down, eyes opened as Yunho pulled back just slightly, hot breath hitting my face as one finger slowly slipped inside my wet hole. I gasped at the feeling and Yunho groaned, lips pressing against my cheek as he pushed himself up by one hand near my head. He slowly started thrusting it in and out, making my eyebrows furrow as he dragged the movement out, not waiting long to add another long finger. I grabbed his arm as my toes curled and hips lifted off the soft cover of the bed, trying to meet his lazy thrusts. They weren’t enough and they made my skin burn as my other hand tangled into his hair.
“Please, Yunho,” I whispered out, moan choked back as his thumb pressed against my clit, stomach coiling at the added sensation, “Faster.”
His teeth bit into the skin of my jaw, not hard enough to leave a bruise as he slightly picked up his pace, fingers curling against my walls and making my back arch off the bed as he rubbed harsher and faster against my clit, fingers thrusting in and out. A knot was forming in my stomach as more sound left my lips, sharp exhales and broken moans as Yunho’s fingers reached the spot which made my back arch off the bed, my own hips picking up its pace as I chased for an orgasm.
“Such a good girl,” Yunho rasped in my ear, making me moan as his finger grazed the spot again, “you were so patient for me.”
“Yunho.” Our eyes connected and I pulled his head closer by the hand I had tangled in his hair, “Please—”
“Not yet.” He bit my lower lip as his hand stilled, making me whine as my walls clenched down against his fingers, every nerve in my body burning. I tried to move my hips despite it, but Yunho’s fingers quickly were pulled out from where I needed him most and I watched helplessly as he sat back, the tent in his boxers obvious. He proceeded to pull my panties all the way down before getting rid of his own boxers, pumping himself as his head fell back. I watched with hungry eyes as his size came as no surprise, matching the massivity of his body. He reached over my head, holding a package as he opened it, putting on the condom before he hovered over my body. For a second he didn’t move and my skin tingled in anticipation as I reached my arms around his shoulders, pulling his hot body against mine, whispering in his ear.
“Yunho, just fuck me already.” I didn’t expect him to moan and before I could blink, his tip was at my entrance, slowly pushing in. My mouth opened as I clenched my eyes shut, surprised at the burn as he stretched me out more and more as he slid inside. He was bigger than anyone I was with before and I needed a moment to adjust to his size as Yunho pressed kisses all over my face, biting my earlobe.
“You can’t tell anyone.” He said lowly, and despite our predicament I heard the threat in his words.
“Which part?” I questioned despite knowing what he was talking about, hand trailing down his smooth back.
“The gang part.” Yunho clarified, as if I needed it, lightly thrusting up. I gasped and gripped his sides, walls clenching around him, making him groan.
“I won’t, I won’t, just—” My voice broke off as he did the same again, smirk on his lips, “Move, please, Yunho.”
“As you wish, angel.” He whispered in my ear before pulling out almost all the way and slamming back inside, making me gasp loudly as I didn’t expect it. Yunho’s smirk stayed glued to his lips as he did it again, ripping a loud whine from between my lips, nails digging into his skin as he set an excruciatingly slow rhythm. It did no good but rile me up and make me reach around for anything to hold onto as my body flamed, walls clenching more around him, desperate for more friction. But Yunho seemed to enjoy the desperate state I was in as he chuckled, and suddenly, I felt his big hands bringing mine together, pushed above my head as he pinned my wrists together and pushed them down harshly into the mattress. He suddenly was moving, getting up onto his knees and sitting back as his right hand slipped under my lower back, guiding me up, lower back hovering in the air. Yunho only paused for a small second, eyes connecting with mine before he moved, sharp and clear, pace nothing like the slow one previously. I moaned loudly as he started rocking his hips harshly, pace relentless and dick reaching deeper than before, making my hands ball up into fists as I couldn’t hold onto anything with Yunho pinning them above my head. It didn’t take long for Yunho to get vocal, cursing under his breath as his eyes were closed and he was biting his lower lip, pace picking up the louder my moans got. I couldn’t focus on anything else but the pleasure building up in my lower abdomen and the electricity coursing through my veins, mind wrapped up in the scent of Yunho, the feel of Yunho…Yunho.
“Yunho.” He was the only thing I could think about and at the desperation in my voice he got rougher, pistoning his hips at an unforgiving pace, making me cry out in pleasure as my hips thrusted up, chasing for an orgasm as I tried to meet Yunho’s frantic thrusts. He finally released my wrists and gripped my hips firmly with both hands as he helped me move against him, my head thrown back at the constant ripples of pleasure as my fingers tangled into the sheets above head and twisted hard, moans of Yunho’s name tumbling through my lips. He was panting loudly and whines left his lips as I could feel him throbbing and I knew he was close like I was.
“Fuck, Y/N, you feel so good.” He moaned out as my walls clenched down hard on his length, toes curling and mind completely fogged up with pleasure. The second his cold thumb started rubbing circles against my clit I saw stars and I came with a high-pitched moan of his name, Yunho’s hips stuttering before he guided my hips, riding out my orgasm just as he muttered a quiet fuck before he came too, groan low and guttural, movements never ceasing until it became too much and I whined, gripping his wrist in an attempt to ask him to stop as I haven’t managed to find my voice yet. Yunho groaned as his hips stuttered and slowly stopped, panting hard as he stared down at me. My eyes took him in before they stuck to the tattoo on his left pectoral. It was big. A big circle going around the letter A and cutting into it at the bottom. I shuddered as he slipped out and got off the bed, leaving my limp body on the bed to recover as my fingers tangled in my hair in an attempt to tame the wild strands. Yunho got rid of the used condom before he stood by the bed, towering over me. We stared at each other for a few seconds before he leaned down and tucked the covers away, effortlessly picking me up and slipping me underneath them. He got in next to me and pulled the soft covers over our bodies. I sighed in content at the warmth spreading over my naked body and nuzzled my nose into the pillow which smelled so much like Yunho. I felt him shift behind me before the front of his big body was pressed against my back, a hand coming around my body to hold me. I didn’t expect him to grip my neck firmly and push me back even more into himself as he slightly leaned over me. I was able to look at him from the corner of my eyes and I watched the menacing look on his face and the darkness in his chocolate brown eyes as he leaned close enough to be able to whisper.
“You don’t have to get a tattoo,” Despite his expression, his tone was soft, “but you’re mine and everyone else will know about it. I’ll make sure.”
I gulped as Yunho pressed a chaste kiss against my cheek before his long fingers slipped from my neck, making me realize I had been holding my breath. I released it shakily and felt him settle down behind me once again, nose pushing against my shoulder blade as his arm was firmly planted around my middle.
“Alright, let’s say I’m yours for now.” I found myself saying, but didn’t expect the chuckle from Yunho. I didn’t like being called nicknames nor being claimed like I was an object, but they didn’t sound so bad coming from Yunho’s mouth, they held no menace nor ulterior motives.
I didn’t know what this made us, but I knew I had one or two secrets to keep and that Yunho wasn’t letting me go nowhere from his sight.

Albert James Moriarty
"Miss (L/N)!" Sir Acheron called out for you as you squeezed in through the crowd, hoping the number of people would help you hide.
"Excuse me... Miss (L/N), please wait!" the man kept calling out, his eyes locked on you as he made his way through the crowd.
'This is bad...!' you gulped as you quickly walked around, hoping to lose him as he followed you through the dance floor.
'Is he gone..?' you thought, turning your head around as you walked, bumping into someone.
"Sorry! I didn't see-!" you quickly apologized as you faced forward, seeing it was Albert James Moriarty, his suit now drenched in wine as the crowd gasped.
"Insolent girl!"
"Ugh, how improper..."
"How dare she...!"
"Are you all right, miss?" he asked, seeing your frantic state.
"Miss (L/N)!" Sir Acheron called as he reached you, making your blood freeze.
"A-Apologies, my lord…! Shall I help you with the stain?" your voice cracked as you took out your handkerchief, wiping the wine out with shaky hands as the crowd glared at you.
Albert raised a brow as he looked at Sir Acheron, connecting the dots.
"I believe helping me get a new set of clothes would be a better alternative?" Albert suggested, stopping your hand.
"Shall we?" he smiled, linking your arm with his as you walked out of the dance floor.
"O-Of course!" you agreed, sighing in relief as you followed along, hearing Sir Acheron scoff as he left the scene.
"I can see why you would bump into me despite me standing still," Albert whispered, making you nervously laugh.
"Right… Sorry again about the stain. I know quite the talented tailor in town, though!"
Tumblr media
William James Moriarty
Your eyes darted around the street, hoping to see at least one shop still open for the night to hide.
You gulped as you saw the man's shadow growing on the ground, hearing his footsteps quickening and closing in on you.
Desperate, you quickly made your way to the department store, only to be stopped by the security guard.
"I'm sorry, miss. We're closing in a few minutes,"
"No, no… You don't understand." you grabbed his arm in fear, "Please, I just need somewhere to-"
"-Sorry, darling. Have you waited long?" a voice chimed in, making you and the guard turn your head to the sound.
It was a nobleman with blond hair and red eyes smiling at you both.
"W-What?"
"Sorry, I lost track of time," he apologetically laughed, walking up to you.
"Shall we get going?" he asked, looking over to his side.
Following, you saw the man stalking you stopped by a lamplight, making your blood curl.
"Y-Yes," you smiled, taking his arm, "Let's go…" you muttered, following the man as you kept your eyes on the stalker.
"There's a police station a couple of blocks from here," the nobleman whispered, making you widen your eyes.
He only looked at you with a wink.
"I'm sure we can convince the officers to help, along with a restraining order if needed."
"I see…" you sighed in relief, feeling your body relax for the first time that night.
"Thank you so much…" you muttered, feeling your eyes tear up in relief, "I thought I was a goner.."
"Here," the man gave you a handkerchief, which you happily took.
"Don't worry, that man won't hurt you now."
Tumblr media
Louis James Moriarty
"There you were!" you beamed as you grabbed Louis' arm, catching him by surprise.
"(Y/N)? What are you-"
"Where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you," you sighed as you hugged his arm, your whole body shaking as you hid your face.
Louis raised a brow as he looked around, seeing a man staring at you both in the dark.
'Oh...'  he thought and frowned, wrapping an arm around you.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry," he smiled as he pulled you close, hiding you from the man's sight.
"For how long has he been following you?" he whispered, making you gulp.
"I just noticed him an hour ago..."
Louis frowned at the answer as he put his coat on you, catching you by surprise.
"You seemed cold," he explained, keeping you close as you left the department store.
"Did he do anything to you?"
"No, he was just following me the whole time," you answered, pulling his coat close to your body.
"Sorry... I know you wanted to buy a gift for William's birthday,"
"What are you apologizing for?" Louis sighed, keeping an eye on the stalker following you both, "That creep isn't your fault," he reasoned as he called for a carriage.
"Let's get you home for the time being," Louis whispered as he helped you up the carriage.
"What about you?" you asked as you grabbed his hand, "You might get hurt,"
Louis breathed out a smile as he removed your hold, "I'll be fine. You're the one he wants,"
"Then what are you gonna do?"
A dangerous glint lit up in Louis' eyes before he lifted his head and gave you a courteous smile.
"Just giving him a lesson he won't forget,"
Tumblr media
Von Herder
"Honey!" you called out as you hugged Herder from behind, almost making you both fall over.
"Huh? What-" he muttered, feeling you hold him with trembling arms.
"Um... Miss? I think you got the wrong-"
"-Honestly... I thought you said we were meeting in the cafe?" you sighed with a shaky breath, still holding onto him.
Furrowing his brows, he gently hugged you back, feeling another presence behind you not too far away.
'I see...'  Herder sighed, noticing the growing hostile air closing in on you two.
"Sorry, sorry! It must have slipped my mind," Herder played along with a cheery voice, pulling you away from the presence and linking his arm with yours.
"Now then, what should we eat?" he asked as he led you away from the presence, hearing you sigh in relief.
"You can decide this time," you replied, resting your head on his shoulder.
"Sorry, miss. Are you all right?" Herder whispered, still feeling the presence following you.
"Yes, I'm okay... Thank you for playing along," you whispered back, your hands still shaking.
Herder frowned as he kept you close, thinking of a possible solution.
"Oh!" he beamed, stopping abruptly with a grin.
"Sorry, honey. Can we make a quick stop?" Herder asked as he pointed at a mechanics shop, making you raise a brow.
"I don't mind. But what for?" you asked as Herder smirked.
"You'll see," he answered vaguely as you both entered the shop.
"It will be quick, miss...?"
"(Y/N)," you smiled, "(Y/N) (L/N),"
"Miss (Y/N)," he finished as he rummaged around some parts.
"If you don't mind, I might have a solution on how to protect yourself,"

Hiii I'm kinda new to Tumblr so idk how stuff really works here😭 but anyway are your requests open? If so, then I'd like to make a req but if not just ignore this!!
Umm so basically an nsfw oneshot(idk what you call it) or headcanons of how bsd men would react/deal the situation when you two are hiding in a very tight space and your crotches accidentally rub together? RHRHHT it's kinda weird describing it but let's just say [character] pushed you along with him into a locker/box with you sitting on top of his lap OR with you too close ttp that you two could feel each other with every inch you move
Uhhh and yeah that's it and feel free to add some touches and changes on the scenario, and I'd greatly appreciate it if maybe you add Nikolai in it😁🙏AND AGAIN IF U DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING MY REQ OR ISN'T ACCEPTING REQS RN THEN FEEL FREE TO IGNORE I HONESTLY DON'T MIND!!/lh /srs
OMG YES?! Ugh, I love this request! I wanted to add some more characters as well, So I picked the DOA (sorry) \(٥⁀▽⁀ )/
If y’all want a part 2 with different characters just let me know, Im at your service! <3

Nikolai
Tumblr media
Scenario: You were out on a mission with Nikolai, it should’ve been an easy “break in and grab important documents” type mission. But now, you two were squeezed together in a small closet, fearing that any small movement would get you two caught.
“Stay quiet...” Nikolai said as he listened closely, his face looked concentrated and serious, a change from his usual happy and calm face
You quietly nod, as you press against the wall behind you to try and get some more space in between you two
The closet is pretty small, hence why nikolai is leaning down, his hands are pressed firmly on each side of your head, inevitably pinning you in place
Nikolai thinks of a way for both of you to escape this situation without being spotted, “maybe I can teleport something”, he thought to himself
He reaches for his cape, unintentionally pressing against you
Your eyes widen as you feel something press against your area, you slowly look up to see if Nikolai noticed
His cheeks are flushed, hes frozen in place and there is an obvious smirk forming on his face
Yeah he definitely noticed.
You start to speak “Niko-… you’re so clo-“, he cuts you off as he places his hand over your lips
“Shh...” He says as he places a finger against his own lips with a small smirk
Moments later you hear the door of the office close, you two are now alone
“They’re gone now...” Nikolai says in a quiet gentle tone, he turns to you “But, i mean…we could just stay in here~” he says with a mischievous grin
Even after you two get out of that closet, he would keep on teasing and reminding you of the “incident”, he will make sure you never forget!~
Sigma
Tumblr media
Scenario: You really don’t know how you got in this situation, one second you and Sigma were walking the streets of the city at night, after your wonderful date. The next, you were hiding in a small dark alley, your body pressed tightly against sigmas as you both hid from a certain jester.
“Damn it.” Sigma cursed under his breath as he kept his guard up, looking around frantically with a worried yet annoyed look
You looked up at Sigma, “Why are we hiding?” You whispered
Sigma looked down at you as he let out a sigh “I saw Nikolai roaming the streets, We can’t be seen together by anyone in the decay, if they were to find out about us...I’m sure horrible consequences would follow” he explained
You nod in agreement, “I understand..but um, why did we have to hide in such a...tight space.” You say as you look away, you can feel his body pressed tightly against yours, you can feel his every breath, his every shuffle and every slight movement
Sigma realizes this and blushes as his eyes widen, “I’m sorry, I didn’t even notice our position in the heat of the moment”
As he says this, you hear a slight noise come from the alley which causes you to slightly jump in a fright
Sigma let’s out a small grunt as he feels your crotch roughly brush against his, he grips your shoulders and holds you in place “Love please…try and stay still…at least for now” he pleads as his face flushes
Your eyes widen as you feel something slightly poke you “Sigm-“ you’re cut off as his hand covers your mouth, “Keep quiet..” he whispers as you hear footsteps around the corner
You feel him press more onto you, trying to hide your body from view as he lays his head against you shoulder, next to your ear
You slightly shuffle which causes sigma to groan in response, he quickly grips your hips with slight force
“Keep still..” he says in a low tone
Once you two finally get out of the alley way…let’s just say- his head was full of scenarios that caused him to blush profusely, as he practically dragged you to your apartment…
Fyodor
Tumblr media
Scenario: Work has been so busy lately, new mission reports coming in everyday. Piles of finished and unfinished documents decorate your desk. All of this caused you to become stressed and overwhelmed, which caused you to become clumsy. So clumsy that you didn’t even seem to notice Fyodor turning the corner, not until it was too late.
**THUD**, is all that can be heard as your bodies crash together and fall to the floor
You feel extreme pain on your head as you let out a small groan of pain
You soothe your head and begin to slowly open your eyes, you try and comprehend what just happened as you hear a soft pained groan come from under you
You slowly begin to look down, your face flushes when you and Fyodor’s eyes meet
His eyes show slight shock as they quickly return to their neutral state, he just stares up at you…not uttering a word
You take a minute to process what is currently happening…and thats when you feel it, you feel something pressing against your area
You quickly get off Fyodor as you begin to apologize, “I’m so sorry! I should’ve been paying more attention!”, you ramble on apologies as you quickly stand up
He lets out a small chuckle as he stands up and brushes himself off , “No worries, more importantly…are you alright?” He asks with a bit of concern present in his tone
You nod as your face grows red, you begin to remember what you felt under you as you pray to god he didn’t notice
But, its like he can read you like a book, he smirks as he reaches for your chin, making you look at him “Yes,…I did notice and feel it” he says with a sly tone
You freeze in place as he says this, he then pulls away and softly smiles “Just be more careful and aware in the future, alright?”
He narrows his eyes as his tone changes to a more stern one, “Next time I won’t be so forgiving…~” he says as he begins to walk off
You’re left standing there shocked and frozen in place
He definitely enjoyed it, especially your cute reaction when you thought he didn’t notice. But for your sake he won’t bring it up, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t think about it constantly…~

Yay you’re back! I feel these prompts are gonna be sad and/or wreck me sooo I’ll request a semi happy one
10. “Where have you been?!  I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for three hours!”
Maybe Chloe and her mini Chloe finally left Chicago after the rumors of cheating and only Aubrey knew but now can’t locate them que Beca losing her shit trying to find her Redheads only for the Beales to rock up at her LA home where they feel most safe
Thanks so much for sending this!
Is this good? I don't know. I'm feeling rusty but glad to be writing again.
10. “Where have you been?!  I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for three hours!”
Prompt taken from here.
Read on AO3
-
“Oh my god, where have you been?! I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for hours!”
Beca winced and pulled the phone away from her ear as Aubrey’s shrill voice threatened to deafen her.
“I was in the studio,” Beca replied, frowning as she crossed the parking lot to her car. “My phone was off. What’s going on?”
“Chloe’s left him,” Aubrey said. “Like actually finally left his cheating ass, and now I can’t get hold of her.”
Beca stopped walking. “Are you serious?”
“Yes! I’m surprised Chicago isn’t blowing up your phone right now, no one knows where she is.”
Beca scoffed and quickened her pace to her car. “That douchebag doesn’t have my number,” Beca said. She got into her car and switched the call over to her bluetooth. “Tell me what happened.”
“She called me last night saying she caught him cheating again, and that she was done,” Aubrey said. “And now her phone is off, and Chicago has called me like 50 times since this morning demanding I tell him where she is.”
“She didn’t tell you where she was going?” Beca asked, trying to take in what Aubrey was telling her. Her stomach was twisting as she pulled out onto the highway and she tried to think of where Chloe might have gone.
“No,” Aubrey said. “I thought she might have called you.”
“I’ve not heard from her in a few days,” Beca said. She began chewing her bottom lip as her mind ran through every potential scenario of what might have happened. “She has Sarah with her, right?”
“Of course, Chloe wouldn’t have left her behind,” Aubrey said. “That’s what he’s so mad about. I don’t think he really cares if Chloe leaves him or not, but she took his daughter with her.”
“Have you tried her parents?” Beca asked, thinking it pretty unlikely that she’d have gone to them, but not impossible.
It was Aubrey’s turn to scoff now. “No,” Aubrey said, “but there’s no way she’d have gone there. They weren’t even at the engagement party.”
“No, I know,” Beca said. “But maybe she’d have gone there because no one would expect her to.”
“If we haven’t heard by tonight I’ll call them, but I don’t want to get them involved if I can help it,” Aubrey said.
Beca reached her exit on the highway and pulled off, and then drove in silence for a few minutes as both her and Aubrey tried to figure out what to do next.
“She’ll be okay, right?” Aubrey asked, voicing their shared concern for the first time.
“Yeah,” Beca said, hoping her voice didn’t betray the fear she was feeling. “He wouldn’t have… Chicago, he wouldn’t have done anything to her, would he?”
“No,” Aubrey said. “I don’t think so. He’s an asshole, but he’s not a monster. And besides, he isn’t that good of an actor, and I’ve never heard anyone sound as pissed off as he did on the phone.”
“Yeah, you’re right,” Beca said. “I’m sure she’ll get in touch soon. I bet she just turned her phone off so he couldn’t reach her and that she’ll call us when she can.” Beca reached her street and slowed as she prepared to pull into her drive. She frowned when she saw a vaguely familiar car parked outside her house. “Actually,” Beca said, “hold that thought.”
“What?”
“I think she’s here,” Beca said, feeling a wave of relief crash over her. She pulled into her drive just as the driver’s door from the other car opened. “Yeah, she’s outside my house. I’ll call you in a little bit, okay?”
“Sure,” Aubrey said, sounding as relieved as Beca felt. “Tell her she’s a pain in the ass and that I’m sending her the medical bill for the stomach ulcer she gave me.”
“Will do,” Beca said. She said her goodbyes and hung up her phone before getting out of her car.
Chloe was standing by her car, a look of hesitation on her face, a sleeping toddler in her arms.
Beca thought she looked tired. There were dark circles under her eyes that were red and puffy.
“Did you drive through the night?” Beca asked.
“Pretty much,” Chloe replied. “I should have called.”
Beca shook her head. “It’s okay. Aubrey filled me in, she’s been pretty worried.”
“I’ll call her,” Chloe said.
“Later,” Beca said. “It’s like a million degrees out here and you look like you’re about to drop.” She gestured for Chloe to follow her into the house.
“You said Aubrey filled you in?” Chloe asked, all but collapsing onto Beca’s sofa, her daughter still held protectively in her arms.
“Yeah, she gave me the gist,” Beca said. “I’m so sorry, Chlo’.”
“I feel like an idiot,” Chloe said. “This is the third time he’s done this and I… Why did I keep forgiving him?”
“You were trying to keep your family together,” Beca said. “If anyone’s the idiot here it’s him. What kind of moron cheats on Chloe Beale for crying out loud.”
Chloe let out a laugh which quickly turned into a sob, which quickly woke up Sarah who joined in with her Mom’s crying.
“I’m sorry,” Chloe said, wiping her eyes while she attempted to soothe her crying daughter. “I’m sorry for this, for just turning up here without a word.”
“Don’t be sorry,” Beca said. “I’m glad you knew you could come here.”
“It shouldn’t be for more than a few days, just while I figure out what to do next,” Chloe said. Sarah stopped crying and Chloe turned her around on her lap. “Don’t you want to say hello to Auntie Beca?”
Sarah wasted no time in wriggling off her Mom’s lap and toddling over to where Beca sat, her arms outstretched. “Auntie Beca!”
“Hi sweetheart,” Beca said, smiling and eagerly scooping her up. “When did you get so big, huh?”
“I free,” she said, holding up three fingers.
“No way,” Beca said. “You must be at least fourteen by now.”
Sarah giggled and slid off Beca’s lap so she could continue wandering around the room.
“You can stay as long as you want, Chloe,” Beca said, turning her attention back to her friend. “I mean that. I have the room, and I have the money, and you know I could use the company.”
“I can’t ask you to-”
“You aren’t asking,” Beca said, cutting her off. “I’m offering. In fact, I’m not even offering, I’m asking. Please stay here for as long as you would like to.”
Chloe sank back against the sofa as if a weight had been lifted. The long night and day of driving had finally caught up to her and she suddenly didn’t know if she’d be able to keep her eyes open.
“Thank you,” Chloe said.
“You don’t need to thank me,” Beca replied. “Can I get you anything? Food, or water, or anything?”
Chloe shook her head. “Can I just have five minutes?”
“Of course,” Beca said. “Sarah, do you want a snack?”
“Uh huh,” Sarah said, handing Beca the TV remote she’d found. “You put on the princess?”
“Sure,” Beca said. “Uh, which princess?”
“With the seagulls,” Sarah said, helpfully.
“Uh…”
“She wants Frozen,” Chloe mumbled as she rested her head on the arm of the sofa.
“Oh, of course she does,” Beca said. “Come on, munchkin, let’s go get you a snack and then we can watch Frozen.”
They spent the next few hours in relative calm as Sarah ate apple slices and watched Frozen. She squealed with excitement during Olaf’s song where he danced with seagulls for a few seconds, and Beca laughed as she realised this moment had stood out to Sarah as the most significant of the film.
Chloe dozed for most of it until she excused herself to finally call Chicago.
She returned after the movie had finished with her eyes looking considerably more bloodshot.
“Mommy,” Sarah said, reaching for her as soon as she returned.
“Hey baby,” Chloe said, scooping her up.
“Everything okay?” Beca asked.
Chloe shrugged. “He’s furious, but he’s agreed to give me space for a few weeks.”
Beca pulled a face. “Can he really blame you for leaving?”
“He doesn’t care about me,” Chloe said. “He’s mad that I took his daughter, which I guess is fair. He was a crappy partner, but he’s a good dad.” She sighed and kissed the top of Sarah’s head. “Once he’d calmed down he said he’d come out to L.A. in a few weeks and we could start discussing custody and child support and that kinda thing.” She let out another sigh and checked the time, wondering when this long day would ever end.
Eventually, after unpacking the car, eating dinner, bathing Sarah, and putting her to bed, Chloe was finally able to sit down with Beca and a much needed glass of wine.
“I’m sorry you’re having to go through all this, Chlo’,” Beca said. “He’s… he’s such an idiot.”
“I feel like I’m the idiot, to be honest.”
“No way,” Beca said. “He was engaged to the best person in the world, has the most incredible daughter, and he threw all that away because he wanted to get his dick wet?”
Chloe just shrugged. She had no answer that she could give Beca, and she was too tired to try and think of one.
“If I had his life…” Beca trailed off and shook her head. “I wouldn’t give it up for anything.”
“I didn’t realise that was something you wanted,” Chloe said. Beca shrugged, and Chloe tapped a finger against the stem of her wine glass before she brought it to her lips. “If you want a family, maybe me staying isn’t the best idea.”
Beca frowned. “What makes you say that?”
“I just mean it might not be easy to like, date or whatever when you’ve got a single Mom and her kid living in your house.”
Beca shook her head. “That isn’t what I meant,” she said.
Chloe took another drink of wine. “What did you mean?”
Beca suddenly felt like they’d waded into uncharted waters as the conversation took a turn towards a place she never thought they’d go.
She took a breath and another drink of wine.
“You know what I meant,” Beca said, avoiding eye-contact.
There was a long pause in which Chloe felt her chest get tight. “Still?”
Beca nodded. “It never went away,” she said.
The silence stretched on, and Beca wished she could take her words back. She hadn’t meant for this to come out on Chloe’s first night. She hadn’t meant for it to come out at all.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn't have said anything,” Beca said. “I’m gonna go to bed and tomorrow we can just forget this whole conversation happened.”
“Don’t,” Chloe said, her hand resting on Beca’s arm. “Don’t go. Don’t apologise.”
Beca held her breath and waited for Chloe to continue.
“Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I’d kissed you instead of Chicago that night,” Chloe said. “And I wonder what would have happened if I’d left him when you told me how you felt that night before I moved out. I… I think about that all the time, Beca.”
“Me too,” Beca said. “But if you’d done that, you wouldn't have Sarah.” She cleared her throat before she continued. “You were right to pick him. I wasn’t ready to be the person you needed. I was too focused on my career, I had complete tunnel vision and everything else just fell to the wayside. It would have ruined us as a couple and as friends. I wasn’t ready to be a good partner then.”
Chloe swallowed, and her hand moved down Beca’s arm and gripped her hand.
“What about now?” She asked.
Beca let out a soft laugh as tears sprang to her eyes. “I think I can do it now. I think… I know I want to do it now.”
Chloe pressed her forehead against Beca’s as tears filled her eyes.
“I can’t rush into anything,” she said.
“I know,” Beca replied. “I wouldn’t want you to. I don’t want to be a rebound.”
“Never,” Chloe said, her grip on Beca’s hand tightened.
“If we do this, I want to do it right,” Beca said.
“We can wait until the dust settles. Wait until Sarah has settled. Take it slowly, and do it properly,” Chloe said.
“Just… tell me when you’re ready,” Beca said, pulling back so she could look at Chloe properly.
Chloe smiled and pressed a kiss against Beca’s cheek. “I will,” she said.

Sunny Day Jack - Cat AU
Okay, so, two particular pieces of beautifully drawn fan art have collided together in my head to create a light and fluffy self-indulgent image that I just had to share with you all.
@okamiliqueur's heartbreaking picture of Jack's lonely and forgotten box from the new demo made me think of cats abandoned in boxes, "free to a good home." Only in the case of the game's story, he was left out in the rain to rot, the owner having given up giving him a good home.
@jazzylovetodraw's picture of Jack as a cat has been buzzing in my mind for quite a while. I just love how precious he looks in both forms, and when I was thinking of Jack being like those abandoned kittens in cardboard boxes... well, the combination was obvious.
I know that Jack's fursona is a snake, and I know being a cat is Shaun's thing, but I'm a sucker for kitties. I'm as biased towards cats as I am for dragons, if my avatar and username didn't offer enough of a hint. ;3 I'd love to see all the characters as kitties honestly.
Tempting though it may be to go with Fruits Basket rules for kitty Jack, like I toyed with over on twitter, I think I'm going to play with a different and simpler set of rules. In this universe, Jack is stuck as a cat until his sunshine's love allows him to become human again.
Admittedly, it's kind of hard to imagine Jack being alone for very long when he looks so adorable. Who wouldn't fall in love with that precious kitty face instantly? Most everyone would be putty in his paws.
Content Warning: I wind up touching on a couple explicit headcanon details near the end. I mean, I did say this is a pretty self-indulgent image with my OTP.
Maybe Jack was stuck as a cat via a curse ala Hocus Pocus and is guarding the box/tape/etc. Maybe he was stuck as a cat instead of in the tape and no one could see him until MC came along. Maybe he's got a tragic backstory like the cat from Fruits Basket.
Since this AU is more about the vibes, I'm just going to leave the how and why parts of the lore up in the air. All that matters is that Jack is stuck as a cat and left out in the rain in a cardboard box until MC decides to take him home.
I'm just going to switch over to Alice and what she would do in this scenario. Poor lonely Alice is out on the town, when she comes across the box out in the rain and sees an equally lonely kitten. Poor little thing, all wet and sad... She just has to take him home with her.
Alice cleans Jack up, gets him wrapped up all nice and warm in a blanket, and even gives him some chicken she bought for her own dinner that night. She'll have to get cat food and other things for her new furry companion tomorrow, though she should probably look for his owner and take him to a vet.
At first, Jack isn't sure what to do about the situation, though he is grateful. No one has even acknowledged his existence until Alice came along. She's so soft and warm. He loves it when she holds him. She's so kind too.
Alice does find it surprising Jack doesn't put up a fuss when being given a bath. Jack didn't exactly like the feeling of being all grimy, and don't get him started on fleas and other gross things cats have to deal with on the streets!
The vet isn't as fun, though Jack is well behaved, though very clingy to Alice throughout the appointment. He can't help but fear that she'll abandon him too. He'll keep up the helpless and adorably needy kitty act if it means she'll stay with him.
There's no ID chip, no tag, and no missing notice for any cat that looks like Jack. It's clear that the poor guy is a stray.
Alice is hesitant initially. She's wanted to get a pet cat for a long time now, but she has barely been able to take care of herself. How can she handle taking care of an innocent life that needs her when she's struggling so much with her own life?
That hesitation doesn't last long. Jack loves on Alice so much, constantly purring and snuggling up to her. He curls up with her when she sleeps or relaxes. He was hesitant at first, and she assumed that was because he was wary of her, when in reality, he just didn't want to cross any of her boundaries. He didn't want to do anything that might upset her and make her get rid of him. When she started petting and cuddling him, he wholeheartedly returned the affection, absolutely starved for it.
The first thing Alice thought when she saw Jack was that he was lonely, just like her. He's so sweet and can't stand to be apart from her. How can she just get rid of him when he makes her feel loved and needed?
Of course, a cat's life isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Cat food is a step down from people food, and a litterbox is anything but sanitary. Jack just skips that nonsense and goes straight to using the toilet despite the awkwardness, which shocks the heck out of Alice. He also snubs all cat food in favor of human food.
Yes, I could go with Jack being a ghost(?) cat that doesn't need food or to use the toilet, but then he wouldn't have gone through the indignities of a vet visit.
Then again... it would be funny if Alice brought Jack to the vet, only for them to think she's crazy, since to them all she's carrying is empty air.
Hmm... yeah, I think I'll go that route. As hilarious as vet hijinks and typical cat care with Jack while he possesses a human mind and identity might be, this would be a more interesting and tragic route. No one else can see Jack but Alice. He's lived for who knows how long in a world full of people that don't see him at all, unable to even be human anymore. It'd be a different type of hell than the one in the video tape, similar to what I talked about in my previous ramble.
Imagine if the 1984 incident Jack died and became a ghost(?) cat because he was secretly a cat shape shifter or something. Or maybe something more supernatural happened during the incident. Either way, cat ghost(?) Jack is very, very lonely.
Man, I just realized, it would be even more tragic (and complicated) if I go with the reincarnation route for this AU. Ghost(?) cat Jack probably had to watch Mary die slowly in the hospital after the incident, unable to help her or let her know that it's him. He couldn't even offer her comfort in her final days. It would've been so traumatizing.
For now, let's just play with this AU without the reincarnation angle, since this is supposed to be mostly light and fluffy feline fun with the OTP.
Jack, even as a cat, tries to do his best to help Alice out. If he can make himself useful, make her need him, then he won't ever lose her. He sneaks out when she goes to work to keep her company even though she initially tried to get him to stay home. No one sees him, so it won't matter. Besides, petting an invisible kitty is a good stress relief when dealing with awful customers, and certainly beats regular stimming.
The more Alice cares for Jack, the more powers he gets back, starting with the ability to talk. It's a huge shock for Alice of course, but Jack makes it clear that it's because of her love for him that made her stronger.
Of course, that love is platonic, at least at the start, which Jack knows full well, but he'll work on shifting things to a romantic love... especially after he gets the power to shift back into a form that has hands.
Like in typical canon, Jack answers Alice's questions as best he can. He probably lost his sense of identity like in game canon, so he references CloudyTown and stuff "he" did there, mixing up the show's lore with his own past. It's also intermingled with his many years spent wandering the streets being ignored and going crazy from the loneliness.
Jack does let Alice know that he used to be able to change from a cat to human. He just... can't anymore. He thinks it was because he was forgotten. He doesn't know why no one can see him until Alice came along.
It's so sad and tragic that Alice can't be unmoved by his plight. Sure, it makes things a bit awkward knowing that Jack is sentient and used to have a human form, but she feels for him. It also makes sense now why Jack always turned away whenever she changed.
Yes, Jack could have peeked. He could have even watched Alice while she was bathing, but he didn't. He refuses to do anything she won't allow. Cuddling her and sleeping in her bed is innocent, but the thoughts he'd have about her when she was undressing were anything but. He loves her too much to take advantage of her innocent trust in him. He needs her to want him to see her in that vulnerable state... even if it drives him crazy lusting over her. Poor pitiful kitty can't even have a good wank off session with his paws.
Still, despite knowing that Jack was human and is sentient, it's hard for Alice not to fall for his feline charms and not think too deeply about that fact. She still winds up cuddling him and petting him.
Of course, when it first hits Alice that she's treating a human like a pet, she stops and apologizes, but Jack insists that it's fine. He enjoys their cuddle time. He gives her the big, pleading kitty eyes as he begs her not to stop, and she can't help but give in.
Awkwardness soon fades and settles into a strange new normal. Alice does wonder if Jack really is real or if she was just so lonely she imagined something this crazy... but his presence is comforting. He keeps her company almost all the time. She doesn't feel alone anymore thanks to him.
Also... now that Jack can talk, he says such sweet things. It's weird to have a "pet" take care of her, but he reminds her of when it's time to brush her teeth, wakes her up for work, helps her get chores done despite how awkward it is with his paws and small size... It's so endearing.
The encouragement and assistance Jack gives Alice is wonderful, and his jokes are so fun and silly, but it's the praise that leaves her feeling flustered. If she didn't know any better, she could swear that he's almost flirting with her sometimes. She's in denial that's what it is, but it feels nice to be told that she's cute, and Jack is so sincere about it... and how can she not melt when he says sweet things with such a sweet face?
It's one morning that things change drastically. Alice's bond with Jack strengthened over time to the point that Jack finally can change back into a mostly human form, though he does have cat ears, a fluffy tail, and whisker markings.
It was a big surprise to them both really, as Jack transformed in his sleep. Alice had gotten used to cuddling up to a talking cat during the night, so it was a shock to wake up in a pair of big muscular arms. Jack was so happy when waking her that morning, giddy to show her his (mostly) human side, that it slipped his mind what a shock it would be.
Naturally, Alice bolted back against the wall away from the stranger in her bed. Jack quickly started reassuring her of who he was and that she wasn't in danger. He stooped down to her level, pretty much wilting really, with ears folded back, as he apologized for scaring her. He was just so happy that he wasn't thinking about how it must look from her side...
Seeing Jack so pitiful and sad, Alice feels her heart go out to him. Once things calm down, she can't help but be amazed by how he looks. Unthinkingly, she reaches up to pet his ears and feel how they attach to his skull. She only fully realizes how forward she's being when Jack starts purring.
Flustered, Alice immediately pulls back, only for Jack to whine at the loss of her touch. He didn't mind it at all. He always loves it when she cuddles with him.
It's a complicated feeling for Alice. On the one hand they've been very close for so long. On the other, Jack is definitely a human, so it feels different now.
Yet, Jack is so sweet. He's mindful of her hesitation, even if he's disappointed. It's harder for him to hide his feelings with such expressive ears. Alice can't help but want to reach out to him, especially after they've already spent so much time together, getting to know one another. He's chased away the loneliness that had been haunting her for so, so long.
Of course, now that Jack has a human form, Alice finds her feelings slipping into "dangerous" territory. He makes her feel so good, so loved, and she feels for him too. She doesn't want to dare assume he might feel anything more for her than just a friend, but she can't help but notice the way he looks at her, the way he clearly longs to be near her. He's so tender and gentle... and they've already been so cuddly.
It's easier for Alice to find herself cuddling up to Jack, letting him and taking guilty pleasure from his gentle warmth. He pets her hair too in return, and it feels surprisingly good... a bit too good at times.
The line between friend or something more blurs with all the cuddles and petting. Alice feels guilty about it, but Jack keeps encouraging her until, finally, something has to give and their relationship changes. Both of them feel relieved when it does, as they couldn't help but worry that their feelings might not be reciprocated.
In a lot of ways, it's pretty close to the normal continuity, just with some fuzzy ears on top. Jack can change into a cat at will now. As he gets stronger, people can start to see him, perhaps as a feline silhouette, or maybe with some unsettling shadows not from a cat. He's certainly going to be a bit territorial and not be afraid to hiss and use his claws if absolutely necessary.
Still, this kitty is pretty content thanks to Alice. Jack loves it when Alice carries him around as a teeny kitty, warm and snuggly against her chest, even in the cleavage of her shirt at times. Naturally, he returns the favor, carrying her around the apartment as often as possible. It's only fair after all~!
Naturally, Jack wants to get intimate with Alice as soon as she lets him. He's so pent up. Even with hands to take care of himself, all the cuddling and now kisses just make him ache for her even more. He longs to be inside her, biting her gently and growling in pleasure as he takes her.
A bonus with Jack being part cat is that he gets to have some vibrating action when he purrs. It adds a whole new dimension to their lovemaking, whether he's using his mouth on her sensitive parts, or thrusting himself deep inside.
Oh, I'm reminded of the cat-like features I mentioned in the Omegaverse AU. I guess Jack, having feline features, would have a dick that's ribbed for her pleasure too. Tongue too. Neither would be sharp because rule of sexy, but it would add a very pleasurable texture that a clever man like Jack is going to take full advantage of~
Of course, Alice can take advantage of those feline features too. The base of Jack's tail and ears are quite sensitive, and she quickly learns what spots get his motor running. Of course, getting Jack excited will lead to him pouncing on her and getting rather frisky, but Alice would certainly be expecting that result~
I can imagine Jack could make himself look fully human without any feline features, but he knows Alice finds his cat side to be adorable. She has a hard time resisting petting him when his ears and tail are out, and he certainly wants to encourage her to pet him as much as possible. He also wants to encourage her to let him pet her as much as possible.
Of course, if Jack can become powerful enough that other people can see him, he'll have to stick with only cat or human form when out in public. Still, even when other people can see and hear him, he prefers to be in Alice's company. Cats have their preferred human, and Alice is Jack's.
Naturally, Jack would have to be sneaky about showing Alice love when in public if there's a chance of getting caught. Good thing he has that perfectly innocent little kitty form to hide in. I can imagine it would lead to some interesting interactions where someone shows up only to find Alice incredibly flustered with a slightly disheveled appearance, while her "pet" Jack is just casually looking smug, as all cats do.
Person: Whoa, what happened to you?
Alice, not looking them in the eye: Uh... Jack, m-my cat just... ah, got a bit excited.
Person: Heh. Cats, am I right?
Alice: Haha... right.
Jack: :3c
Hmm... I wonder then if the other love interests should have cat transformations in this AU too. It'd be a crime if Shaun doesn't have that ability but Jack does. Jack already gets together with Alice, so I don't want to be extra cruel to Shaun.
Admittedly, I don't have too many ideas for other characters with cat modes. Well, aside from an image of Shaun taking care of his baby MoonPie by carrying her around by the scruff. This post was mostly just indulging in sweet moments with my OTP with a bit of feline flavor sprinkled on top. Maybe I'll revisit the idea again if I get more ideas than just a bit of fluff.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this silly romp with Alice and Jack having some feline fun times!

Emotional Damage. Worse than the Joker?
After sitting with Batman #138, I got to thinking about how much emotional damage Bruce inflicted on Jason with what he did to Jason. Working through some things myself lately, I thought more about fear and how it relates to survival, endurance, and the hang-ups we have that affect our lives. But less about me and more about Jason Todd.
Tumblr media
Yes, I know there’s the idea that it’s all Zur-En-Arrh and not really Bruce, but still. If there was something to snap Bruce out of whatever battle is going on in his mind, mentally altering (without consent) and "abusing" his own son in such a deep way, should’ve been it.
I know some have cited how adrenaline kicks in during all sorts of activities and scenarios (and not just in times of violence or aggression), which is true, but what I thought about was how much adrenaline and will has played a part in Jason’s overall survival as a character.
As a boy who grew up in Crime Alley with a drug addicted mother, Catherine, that he cared for often, his childhood was probably filled with fear. But giving into fear is something that likely doesn’t help you survive in Crime Alley, especially when Jason became orphaned. He fended for himself, took care of Catherine until she died, and then took care of himself. He was probably afraid all the time, but he pushed through with adrenaline, cortisol, and whatever else he needed to survive.
Tumblr media
Then Bruce happened. As Jason Todd he was given a bit of peace, but then it was back to survival mode as a Robin—though likely a choice he made with Bruce’s approval because what little boy wouldn’t want to be Robin? The role of Robin alone is all about adrenaline, survival, and combatting fear.
Then there was the Joker.
We all know the story, but I think about it again as I see posts about the young actress who played Ahsoka in the live-action series and how it helped some contextualize the idea of child soldiers and just how young Ahsoka was during the Clone Wars. The same can be said for the Robins. So now we can think about a young, scrawny boy, alone in a warehouse getting beaten nearly to death by a psychopath with a crowbar. Again, fear, loneliness, and potential loss of hope. But Jason endured, and even in the end tried to save himself and his mother through use of adrenaline and sheer force of will.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Flash forward and Jason is suddenly alive, still broken and bruised but basically buried alive. More fear and another chance to let it finish him off, but Jason doesn’t give in. He pushes fear aside, breaks through his casket, and crawls out from his grave. Again, still a teenager and still alone as he wandered the streets, confused and hungry. All of this to say that Jason is fucking survivor, probably more so than Bruce (IMO).
Tumblr media
Bruce may have harnessed and used his fear, but he suppresses it. Jason owns it, lives it, and has had it looking over his soldier for as long as he can probably remember. It probably whispers in his ear all the time and says, “You’re still just a scared little boy and you’re going to die. Just give up.” But he doesn’t. Yes, he’s easily written off as the angry one or the one always pissing everyone off, but I think that’s just his defense mechanism. It’s the wall that hides his fear, but unlike Bruce he wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to let his emotions out, even when he tries not to. I want to believe those behaviors are Jason venting his fear and anger so they don’t consume him or so he doesn't get hurt, even if he doesn’t always do it in the most healthy of ways.
So yeah, for Bruce to think that somehow Jason is going to live some happy American Dream in Metropolis (God forbid any aliens or bad guys attack that city, something that never happens), then Bruce still doesn’t know his son.
In way, whether it’s all Zur-En-Arrh’s doing or not, turning Jason’s adrenaline into crippling fear, taking a core part of him that has kept him alive and fighting all these years, is worse than what the Joker did.
So I don’t think any amount of Bat or Big Belly burgers and hugs will fix that. My only hope, based on the description for Red Hood, Issue #2: (JASON TODD PREPARES FOR BATTLE! Batman's plan for Jason Todd backfires…but in a good way? The Red Hood prepares for the final battle of the Gotham War…but what will he have left when the dust settles?!), is that Jason finds a way to overcome Bruce’s programming on his own. I think if Bruce created a failsafe for the failsafe, or if one of the other Batfam members helps him, it’ll cheapen his character. I’m fine if someone is there to support him, but I think if the writers want to respect Jason and show his strength as a character, it’ll be Jason doing the work to prove his will is stronger than Bruce’s when he beats the fear programming. We even see this in a different way in Urban Legends when Jason was able to fight off the Cheer gas to save Bruce.
Tumblr media
But for now, when I see this.
Tumblr media
I’ll think about this Bruce and Jason instead.

American Woman (Thomas Shelby x American OC) Ch. 6: Accomplice
Tumblr media
All confidence and security I’ve accumulated is depleted. The Shelbys have helped keep me safe from the unpredictable world outside, and as the cop pushes me through the ash-filled streets I’m reminded of just how vulnerable I really am. Yet I still keep my head held high and mask my fear with stern eyes. I’m led to what must be the police station and down the hall to a small waiting room with a single desk. The cop shuts the door, closing off what little light there is.
“I demand to know what’s going on!” I shout at the door. “I will not be imprisoned without official charges! If there is no official complaint then I shall inform the authorities in America!”
“No need for that, Ms. Steenstra,” a familiar voice speaks from the shadows. Campbell steps forward smoking a pipe and I see he’s holding a file.
I tighten my jaw and refrain from yelling again. My state of mind is much more fierce compared to our last encounter. “Hello again, Inspector Campbell.”
He slides the file onto the desk and sits down. “Last time I saw you, you were trying to get home. Scared of Small Heath and all its glory.” He points a finger at me. “I told you to stay away from the Peaky Blinders. Now I’m told you’re working for them.”
Keep calm, Steenstra. Remember what Polly told you.
“I’m a tutor, nothing more,” I say firmly. “I know nothing about their real business so if that’s why you brought me here then you’re wasting your time.” I turn away and face the door.
“If you’re interested, we could set you up for an inside job,” Campbell offers.
Did I hear that right? “You mean… spy? On the Shelbys?” I ask.
“Yes. And if there is any odd behavior then you can report it to me.”
Thomas was right. This man is out to get the entire Shelby family. I can’t be an asset to his cause. Not only because of my feelings for the Shelbys, but also for the loyalty of my employment.
I turn around and stare the inspector straight in the eye. “Maybe it’s done differently in England, but in America we are loyal to our employers. The answer is no, Inspector.”
The man takes a puff on his pipe. “What if certain arrangements were made? You still wish to return to your country, yes?”
The thought of going home is a spark of hope in my chest. But I can’t cave into this.
“Correct.”
Campbell shrugs. “Well, if you decide to join our cause we could arrange for a plane ticket, as well as better lodgings here for you.”
Just as I thought. “If you’re trying to bribe me, it won’t work. I’m sorry Inspector, but I cannot be bought.”
I grab the door knob and find it’s unlocked, no doubt because they don’t see me as a threat. Yet. Just as I start walking back to the front door I hear Campbell call out:
“Be careful, miss. Never know when the wolf will step out of its sheep's clothing.”
But in this scenario, who’s the wolf? I have no desire to be connected to this intricate web of lies and deception. I am in good relations with both the law and the Shelbys, and want to keep it that way.
I make haste to get back to the Shelby house. All previous angry thoughts are long gone and I don’t care if Thomas is still mad at me. Once I close the door I take a deep breath and take in the familiar kitchen. Calm down, you kept quiet. Just stay here and ride out the storm until you can go home.
My invisible mask falters and my eyes start to tear up. In a quick panic I grab a damp cold cloth and head to the living room to sit on the small couch. God, how did I get caught into this? All because I was an idiot and got myself lost!
“Ah, you’re back.”
No. No. Of all the Shelbys to walk in, why does it have to be him?
“Hello, Thomas.” I keep my head lowered and hastily try to block away more tears. “I’d like to apologize again for earlier. My mind hasn’t been very clear these past few days.”
Fate must have a sick sense of humor because Thomas decides to sit next to me. His weight pushes the cushions down further and has me leaning slightly towards him.
“Nobody apologizes to me unless they’ve done something else against me,” Thomas speaks in a dangerously calm voice. “What did you do after you left?”
Fighting my screaming nerves I lift my head up to face his cold eyes. “I was headed to the chapel when one of Campbell’s officers temporarily apprehended me. I was brought to Campbell’s office, where he questioned me.”
Thomas’ eyes flash. “He what?” Thomas grabs my neck, drags me over and pins me against the wall to shout in my face. “Well? What did you tell him? What did you say?!”
I try to choke out a response. “I- I didn’t say anything, Thomas!”
“Why? We never bought you over!” He releases my throat and I gasp for air. “We don’t own you-”
“You don’t have to, Thomas!” I seethe. “I didn’t say anything because A, I honestly don’t know much about the guns. And B, it would be betraying you.”
Thomas doesn’t budge but his eyes soften a fraction. Why must every encounter with him end so violently and not as romantic? I- No. Don’t flatter yourself, Steenstra. There are far more important issues at the moment!
“Really?” Thomas’ voice is calmer, yet still suspicious.
I take a deep breath and put both hands on his chest. “You may not think you’ve bought me, but I still owe a debt to the Shelby family. You took me in. You gave me a job and a roof over my head. If that’s not buying me over, I don’t know what else there is.”
Slowly, Thomas’ hands snake up to grab mine. His breathing has calmed down. He must believe me.
“No one’s this nice, Ms. Steenstra,” he whispers. “You’re not like any other person I’ve met. If you really are this loyal it would be a shame to see you go home.”
I sigh in relief. “So I’m not fired?”
He chuckles. “You always fret about being fired.”
“It’s my first job,” I reply sheepishly. “I’d hate to lose it in such a short time. Plus I really don’t want being fired by the Shelby family to be on my short résumé.”
“You’re fired?!”
We both look over to where Finn is standing, having just entered from the hallway. He’s holding another one of my books, no doubt having finished it already.
“No, Finn. She’s not fired.” Thomas gives me a smirk. “I don’t think she’ll be leaving for quite a while.”
My face falls. “Are you saying you’re going to keep me here against my will, Mr. Shelby?”
He quirks a brow. “You said you owe a debt to us, yes? How’d you like to have your Birmingham experience lengthened?”
I frown. “Meaning…?”
“That you are to stick around until you’ve earned a ticket home and we feel you’ve worked off your debt,” Thomas replies coolly and leans in closer. “Deal?”
A week ago I would have declined on the spot, but the few days I’ve spent here have snatched my interest. Maybe a while longer in Birmingham wouldn’t be so bad?
I smile. “Deal. My only request is that I’m escorted around town in order to not be snagged by Campbell again.”
Thomas tips his hat. “Your wish shall be granted, Verena Nora Steenstra. Welcome to being an accomplice to the Peaky Blinders.”
Accomplice. The word brings a whole new meaning to my job. I’m no longer a simple tutor. I’m part of something much bigger now. It scares me a little, but it’s also rather exciting.
“Yes!” Finn celebrates. “Can we do another lesson now?”
Aw, Hell. I can’t say no to this! My family’s not perfect and neither am I. I was always going to do something drastic someday, and if this is it then I’d love nothing more!
Thomas walks off to the kitchen and leaves me with his brother. You are one peculiar individual, Thomas Shelby.
I smile. “Yes, Finn. Let’s get started!”

-🐦
(Main 8 X Reader) Manhandling a Pigeon?
(Gender Neutral, Platonic) Scenarios ~ A/N sorry we’re out of ketchup does mustard work?
Trigger Warning: None, just fluff!
Tumblr media
There’s nothing more relaxing than a nice, quiet walk through a city park. At least, that’s what he’s always thought. The city's ruckus melts into a relaxing background noise, a calming assurance of humanity’s presence. That, mixed with lush green surroundings, is always the best break from the stress of international politics. The only thing that could make that little vacation better is the company of one of his closest friends, you.
At least, that’s what he had thought before today. Before you had shattered the peace and quiet of his trip to the park by running forward and grabbing a pigeon. Before he could react, you ran back to him, roughly showing off the bird and insisting, “Isn’t it cool?”
Tumblr media
“Woah!” He exclaims, leaning in closer to see the bird, “That is cool! Can I hold it too?”
You nod, awkwardly handing him the pigeon that’s desperately trying to escape the two maniacs that grabbed it. When he takes it, his eyes light up with excitement, holding it less like a living creature and more like an action figure.
“Great job on grabbing it. What do we name it?” He gushes.
“Hm… I don’t know. You choose.”He pauses for a moment,
“... Simon.”
Tumblr media
“Uh- what!?” He steps back from you, his face disgusted.
“Look at how pretty it is!” You insist, thrusting the bird closer to him.
“No bloody way, you have no idea where that thing’s been!” As your face falls, he sighs. Resting his hands on his hips, he looks at you, exhausted. “Yes, yes, it’s very pretty. Now let it go, please? I don’t want you or it getting hurt.”
Tumblr media
“Don’t handle them so roughly, my dear,” He scolds gently, tsking at you like a mother at her child.
“Can you do better?” You tease, but he simply laughs in response. He brings your hands up with his, coaxing you to open your palms to release the bird. As you do, the pigeon gently coos at the both of you before climbing onto his arm.
“Woah, you’re like… a pigeon tamer…”
“Yes, I trained them for many years. Back in my time, they weren’t seen as street trash,” He says solemnly before smiling, “I’m glad you appreciate them too.”
Tumblr media
“Ah-huh, very funny. Put that thing down, it’s gonna make you sick!” He scolds, desperately backpedalling to get away from you and the pigeon.
“Yao, come on! It’s just a little pretty creature!”
“It’s not pretty, it shits on the ground!”
“You did that for centuries!”
“I don’t anymore, unlike that beast!” He exclaims, scaring the bird. Before you can react, it flies out of your hands, escaping the two of yours bickering. You stare at him, dumbfounded and a little angry, while all he can do is sheepishly turn and start walking again.
“Rude, you scared away my friend!”
“Well, your human friend will buy you something to eat to make up for it. Just wash your hands first.”
Tumblr media
He nods, peering over to see the trapped pigeon in your grasp. As you look up at him, a soft smile grows on his face, “Good catch,” he remarks.
“Thanks. Always wanted to be a pigeon catcher.”
He giggles at your comment, reaching out to gently rub the top of the pigeon's head, “You know, these used to be used for a lot more than just public nuisances,”
“They aren’t nuisances, they’re friends!”
“You are right.” He says softly, turning to look you in the eyes, “Now we are three friends on a walk!”
Tumblr media
“Huh? Did you really just steal a bird?” Feliciano asks, clearly mortified at your random actions.
“It’s not stealing. Birds are public domain! And look at their cute face…” You gush, thrusting the bird up to his face. He recoils for a moment before leaning back in, the fear draining from his face.
“Hm… looks like one of big brother Francis’ old pigeons! I bet they’re related!”
You smile as he starts to pet the bird’s head. He could never resist an animal.
“Did Francis’ pigeon smell this terrible though?”
Tumblr media
Ludwig doesn’t respond immediately, his expression unreadable as he steps closer to view the bird more closely.
“Oh, yes. Very cool. I believe it’s a… tippler pigeon? These ones are incredible fliers.” He states quickly, a smile growing on his face.
“I didn’t know you knew so much about birds.”
“You learn a lot of things when you’re like me.” He says, before resting a hand on your shoulder.
“Should I let it go now?”
“Yeah. Personally, I wouldn’t like being grabbed by you like that. It’s a little cruel.” He chuckles.
Tumblr media
“Ah!” Kiku jumps back in surprise. As you look at him with confusion, he tries to calm himself down.
“D-Don’t touch those. They’ve had diseases, Y/N!” He exclaims exasperatedly, leaning backwards away from the pigeon you grabbed.
“Only some of them!”
“I still do not like those odds! Please, put it down.”
“Jeez, you’re so boring.” You tease, releasing your grip on the pigeon which quickly escapes and flies away.
“I’m not boring, I just do not want to die from bird sickness.”

summary: y/n’s family owns a flower shop and chifuyu is in search for a bouquet of flowers.
heads up: a cliché scenario! lowercase intended, usage of “pretty” not proofread
notes: i want a chifuyu in my life too >:(
flowers for sale!
chifuyu left yet another flower shop with his hands empty, sighing loudly as if he feared nobody could sense the disappointment radiating from him. despite the prominent pout plastered on his face, the yellow haired boy was still determined to find the perfect bouquet of flowers for his beloved mother. he at least needs to get something for her on mother’s day.
“i don’t remember a bouquet being so hard to buy.” he shoved his hands into the pockets of his oversized beige hoodie as he continued wandering along the busy street. fortunately, the lucky boy managed to spot another flower shop at the omcorner. just his luck!
he sprinted towards the shop with high hopes of finding just the right one. with the slight push on the glass door that created a tiny gap, the boy was enthusiastically welcomed by the sweet smell of fresh flowers that wafted gracefully around the brightly illuminated store. like an enchanting song, chifuyu was catapulted the wonderful world of flowers yet again.
he always enjoyed the smell of flowers - it was very soothing and comforting to him. he didn’t really know much about flowers, considering he only recently got into them but he was curious to know that each and every flower had their own meaning to it; he was excited to slowly learn more about them!
“hello, welcome!”
chifuyu’s eyes immediately shifted towards the middle aged man that greeted him with a friendly smile behind the counter of the store which he politely returned with a grin. this was just the place to find those damn flowers.
“what can i help you w-”
“daddd…” a seemingly frustrated voice escaped from the corner of the store, behind tons of elegant flower vases that had various eye-catching flowers nicely arranged in them, “could you help me out here?”
“i can’t right now, we have a customer.” the man replied, glancing towards the awkward boy while giving him a small smile.
“huh…?” you popped your head up curiously behind the pile of items, stretching your neck to get a clearer view of what’s happening. you definitely did not expect a customer at this time of the day, but you immediately stood up to greet them.
“hello! sorry for interrupting, what can we help you with?” although you seemed calm, it was embarrassing for you to abruptly chiming into their conversation, especially if that customer was a handsome one. you felt blood rushed to your ears, a faint pink covering your face just by him looking at you.
what made you even more nervous was the cheeky look your dad was giving you from your peripheral vision.
chifuyu on the other hand, was not much different. he thought you were really pretty, especially with bright delicate flowers in the background that complemented you, as well as soft rays peeping through the crevices of the translucent cream curtains that exposed the lovely glow on your face. he was truly mesmerised.
“hi, uhm…i was just looking to buy a bouquet of flowers for my mom! i can’t seem to find the right one, could you help me with it?”
“yes, of course!” you looked around the store, thinking about what flowers to recommend, “i think i have some in mind, you can come and take a look!”
he’s buying flowers for his mom, how nice!
you brought him around the store, introducing him variations of flowers he could pick, “you could also consider roses, they could never go out of style!”
you patiently waited for his answer, though you understand where he’s coming from - it is a serious matter after all.
“then what flowers do you personally recommend?”
though you were flustered by the question, you felt great about it! you have been really interested in flowers since you were young yet those years of knowledge has never really been put to good use before. plus, it was the first time a stranger had ever asked you that; they would usually just choose and go.
“o-oh! i personally would go for pink carnations as a mother’s day gift. these flowers represent gratitude and love. they’re kinda like my one pick whenever i give flowers to my mom! ” you answered willingly, just excited to be able to share what you know about flowers.
chifuyu smiled at your enthusiasm which made him even more attracted you.
“then can i get a bouquet of pink carnations please.”
you were happy to hear that he followed your suggestion. “okay, i’ll pack it up for you right away!” you replied fervently.
the blue-eyed boy chuckled at your cute antics whilst following you towards the counter after you picked up the flowers you needed.
“uhm…sorry, but could i also get a bouquet of pink tulips?” chifuyu asked while scratching the side of his head, “and also could i write a small message to go with the flower?”
“oh yeah, no problem!” you smiled understandingly.
you didn’t take long arranging those flowers properly in their respective wrapping paper.
“here you go!” you carefully handed both bouquet towards the boy, almost sad you have to bid your goodbyes to the flowers you attentively took care of, “you can just pay by scanning here.” you said as you pointed towards the QR code on the table.
ding!
“thank you so much for buying from us!” you bowed slightly towards the boy, “hope you come again soon!”
you expected the boy to leave after paying but he stood in front of the counter, looking rather nervous?
“erm…t-these flowers are for you!” chifuyu exclaimed, avoiding your eyes whilst moving the bouquet of tulips towards you.
for me? you were stunned to say the least.
without a blink of an eye, the boy took off, leaving the shop with a dark red blush on his face.
you didn’t had the chance to say thank you. you were disappointed of course but what could you do? you could only stare at the flowers with admiration and with the thought of the boy that you didn’t even know the name of.
however, you widened your eyes in anticipation when you see a white piece of paper hidden inside of the bouquet. you immediately took it out and opened it.
“pretty flowers for a pretty girl” your face was once again covered in pink blush at the sudden confession.
you giggled when you say the rest of the cute messages he left.
“call me…only if you want to of course!”

Good morning/afternoon/night! My internet is really bad at the moment so im not sure when this ask is gonna get through lol :,)
If I remember it correctly, your asks are open! So I decided to try my luck on sending one! (I've only downloaded Tumblr recently so im sorry if this goes badly :,) )
May I ask for a scenario or something like that with Pocketcat obsessing over a poor and desperate soul(aka reader lol) who is just trying to make their way through the Fear and Hunger dungeons/The festival of Termina (It's probably better if you choose lol)? Reader is just trying to go through another day without being attacked in their sleep and maybe smoking some Opium while that goddamn cat is just starting from a corner.
((Im not sure how asks work! Sorry if I made a mistake!!))
Omg yes this is perfectly fine! Everybody loves Pocketcat (me included) so I'm more than happy to answer this lol. Let's set this during the Festival, shall we? :)
You're doing great!
Warnings: Stalking, General Creep Behavior, Pocketcat Deserves His Own Warning, Drug Use
The atmosphere of Prehevil was a buzz with an invisible, cold heat. Your skin had started to tingle the moment you woke up from that terrible dream you had on the train and a throbbing headache that started as a minor annoyance has now turned into a full blown migraine that has you feeling like you've been brained by a lead pipe, a very real possibility given all the pissed off locals that have been attacking you unprompted and out of the blue as you've wandered the mostly deserted streets.
The last few blocks, you've begun to feel as though you were being watched... Every other step you take, you swear that you hear the echo of a footfall that is just barely out of sync of your own. You pause mid step and listen carefully.
...click...
Shit. You don't look over your shoulder, fearing what you might find following you. You shove your hands in your jacket pockets and suddenly pick up your pace, not quite running but not walking casually either. Your fucking head is killing you... You wanted nothing more than to take a hit from your pipe... but you needed to find somewhere relatively safe first. Continuing on, you round several more street corners. You don't stop until you no longer hear any footsteps mirroring your own. Slowing down, you strain your ears once again.
....
Silence. You shuffle to a stop. Your headache is nearly blinding and you sit on a pair of steps that lead into one of the many buildings in Prehevil. Fumbling with your bag, you fish out your smoking pipe, your eyes closed as they were throbbing and painfully dry. You crack an eye open and find a nearly empty matchbook, striking it alight and lighting the pipe that was still partially filled with opium. Extreme, but its all you have.
And your head-
It was sweet relief. The opium was strong and fast acting. Your headache numbed, as did your paranoia. Your heartbeat slowed and you felt yourself fall at ease. You kept your eyes closed, enjoying the brief moment of quiet. Has it been only a few hours of this? It almost felt like a lifetime... Your eyes open, blinking as they readjust to the light. And you find yourself startled as there was someone standing down the street opposite of where you sat.
The colour purple was a strange sight in this blood-soaked town... Not a drop of gore was on him, yet the bag at his feet was blood-smeared and breathing, you could tell even from where you sat. He was tall and well-dressed, strange all around and strangely making a point to avoid eye-contact with you. As you stared at him, suddenly sobering from the opium, he twitched his head and glanced in your direction. What the hell was he wearing...?
"Ah-! Oh, dear me! I didn't see you there at all!" His accent was strange and he seemed exasperated. Though he was wearing a mask, something that appeared to be cumbersome and inflexible, it had a lot of character and seemed to reflect it well through his eyes.
"My, my, how rude of me! I do apologize, this Festival has us all running about like mad, does it not?" You uneasily looked side to side.
Was... he talking to you?
"What... 'Festival'...?" He continued on.
"Say... perhaps I am mistaken but... do I know you? Maybe you get that a lot, you do have one of those faces, but I swear that you look..." The masked man turned to face you. He had one hand in his pocket, something that make you gravely nervous.
"...familiar?" You don't know why you answered him. Perhaps it was the awkwardness of this situation getting to you.
"Yes! Familiar. I feel as though I have met you once before, in lands and times different though under such similar circumstances..." He grew wistful, seeming to reflect on an old and touching memory. You frowned. There was something nagging at the back of your head....
"Pray tell, how has this Festival been treating you? Worse for wear? Perhaps you have had your fill and wish to turn in for the day?" You narrowed your eyes.
"I... What?" He continued.
"No matter, there is time left for you, though not much at all, I'm afraid. There is never enough time, is there? Or it certainly doesn't feel that way... Especially where the ones we love are concerned..." He turned his head so you couldn't see his masked face. The man brought his hand to his mouth and seemed to suddenly grow sheepish. The hand in his pocket began to twitch and you felt your stomach roll in apprehension.
"Do you have that special someone in your life? I did... once upon a time... Though it has been so many ages since I last saw them..." He turned to face you and he seemed larger and closer than he truly was. The masked man grew in height and seemed to lean in close to you, until you had your back flat against the stairs and you were cowering before him from across the street.
"Though... looking upon you has brought a wave of nostalgia over me! Truly, I must thank you for this, for I had missed them terribly..." There was a genuineness to his voice that was almost moving... for a split second, you felt your guard lower.
"I see..." Your shoulders dropped a little. A wave of emotion washed over you.
Relief
Gratitude
But in the warmness there was also,
Anticipation
Fear
Hatred
Deja vu seized your heart and froze you in place. Your temples began to throb as the colour drained from your face. The stranger had become familiar and known to you, though you didn't understand how or why. He seemed pleased with the shift in your demeanor.
"That's quite enough I think..." You furrowed your brows, confused.
"What-?"
"Yes, quite so!" You can tell that he was smiling under the mask.
"I don't understand-" He nodded to himself.
"That's quite alright, old sport! Give it some time, I think it will all become apparent, sooner than later." The man straightened up and you no longer felt crowded.
"W-What will? What- Who even are you-?!" Your question was waved off.
"Enough questions! Don't you think it's about time now?" Anxiety pulsed under your skin.
"Time? Time f-for what?"
"Time to wake up, of course! You've nearly overslept!" You're stunned. Confused and a little annoyed, you open your mouth to rebuke him, but he's suddenly in front of you and has a gloved hand clamped around your mouth. You can't move, you can't blink, you can't even scream in terror as a wave of nostalgia crashes over you.
"Hush, now... I've stolen you away from my Master for long enough... It's time for us to part ways for now, but we will meet again. It will be just like the good old days, just you wait!" You didn't know who this fucking freak was and you didn't care. You just wanted him to get the hell away from you already!
"Go on, then! Away with you!" His tone was cheery but he picked you off the stone stairs with his one hand with ease, until your legs were dangling limply in the air.
You were thrown down but instead of busting your head on the edge of sharp stairs you startled in a seated position. You hit your elbow against the cool train window and your head bounced off of it as you struggled to regain your senses.
It was... what?
It wasn't real... It was all just one big, terrible dream... You sighed in relief. In the moments that it took your heart to slow, you realized something.
The train wasn't moving and it was devoid of all passengers.

—I really don't understand why you're like this.
2 a.m. and they were both still wandering the dark streets of Denver. Silence sat between the two people, footsteps could be heard perfectly against the hard asphalt of the street they were on.
—What am I supposed to do? I couldn't keep still, they were beating up a kid.
You said timidly towards your companion, not wanting to look at him for fear of an even stronger scolding. Just 10 minutes ago I had taken you out of the police station after having a fierce dispute with a parent.
—I understand that you want to help others, but you can't get into fights every five minutes.
Crossing your arms against your chest, defeated and embarrassed by the situation, you sighed heavily.
—We're talking about a man in his 30s or 40s, and you go and beat the shit out of him.
—I know that, Tristan, but understand me.
You stopped dead in your tracks, your anger building up in your body again at the memory of the situation.
You would never allow domestic abuse in front of your eyes again.
—I know it was wrong of me to get into that fight, let alone hit a man, but I can't bear to see a child being beaten by his parents.
You turned in his direction and looked at him, Tristan, your friend, was looking serious and cold.
—What would have happened if Aneko had been beaten by a man.
—That man was disappearing.
You both laughed at the scenario, Tristan wrapping one of his long, strong arms around your shoulders, pulling you close and starting to walk.
—Are you staying the night?
You thought for a moment, your younger brother wasn't going to be home due to a school camp.
—There's no one waiting for me at home, there's not a single problem with that.
Starting to laugh, you both headed for the house where Aneko, Tristan's wife, was waiting for you.
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
The next morning.
—¡(y/n)!— A beautiful and pleasant red-haired woman appeared in the hall, showing a pleasant smile to her visitor. Her long hair waved at the movement of her walk. She approached you cheerfully, as she sat down next to you on the sofa.
—Do you have anything to do today?
-No, I don't— you replied, turning your gaze into his deep, attentive green eyes. At your words, he smiled happily.
—Would you like to come with me to the convenience store to buy a few things? I'd like to cook something special for the three of us.
You nodded with a small smile, Aneko returned the gesture, and you both got up from the nice sofa to get dressed and head towards the convenience store.
—I missed you so much.
Aneko started the conversation as you both headed towards the shop.
—Me too, we hadn't seen each other for a long time.
And it was true, it's only been a month since you and your best friends had a chance to see each other, Tristan due to his work at the office and Aneko resting due to an accident at the clothing shop where he worked.
You have known each other for more than 16 years, in fact, you grew up together, went to the same school, high school and later to the same university. And after all these years, you were still best friends.
—It's funny how the years go by, just a couple of years ago we were three teenagers trying not to burn down a school.
Aneko laughed softly, remembering the time when the science room almost exploded because of her husband and her best friend.
—Those were good times, I can't deny it.
Aneko replied, a few seconds of silence between the two of them.
—Did you see your father again?— asked Aneko, a little afraid of her friend's answer, (y/n) she looked at Aneko in surprise, it had been a long time since that topic had been mentioned.
—I don't know, I don't care what that man does.
An awkward silence ensued, both of them, trying not to look each other in the face, continued walking. Aneko started the conversation again.
—What do you think about the wave of kidnappings?
—It's pretty strange, the late 1970s and Denver is being terrorised by a child abductor in the middle of October.
—Aren't you worried about what might happen to your brother?
—He's 17, he can take care of himself, besides, this kidnapper grabs pre-teen boys, according to the paper.
—I find it curious that he kidnaps kids with medium-length hair.
—You're right, if I remember correctly, the latest abductee is a 14 or 15 year old boy called Robin.
—His parents are devastated, the kid was nice enough, but he looked like a fighter, just like you.
You smile as you grab Aneko's arm. —You also taught the little boy a few punches or tricks, didn't you?—, Aneko asks you, you nod energetically. —It was hard times back then, father didn't have the best composure with us, it lowers your morale when a 13 year old punches you in the stomach—. Aneko laughed at the mention of the funniest moment he could find in his mind. —When I feel depressed, my brain repeatedly plays that memory, your brother, you crashing into the tree, it's wonderful—. Aneko smiled at you, you smiled back a pleasant smile at the redhead.
—If we don't hurry, the shop will close—, Aneko nodded and started walking faster, a couple of streets down and you had arrived at a nice and pretty grocery shop.
—Do you mind getting these ingredients? I have to leave the shop for a moment— Aneko said worriedly, —Sure, give me the list— you replied grabbing the list from her hands, Aneko gave a warm smile before leaving the shop.
You started looking for the ingredients on the list, with a small basket in hand, you headed to the first shelf, glimpsing the many different spices. You kept looking, until you stopped when you heard a shout outside. "Aneko?" you thought, it was identical to his voice.
You looked out the window to your left, it had definitely been the scream of your friend, being harassed by a scruffy looking man.
—Wouldn't you like to play a little game with me?— you managed to hear through the hard glass of the tent, your blood started to boil, as the nerves inside you built up and the anger in your head was about to explode. You saw Aneko trying to get away from the boy and failing to do so.
You quickly sprang into action.
You stormed out of the shop, leaving the basket and the ingredients on the floor, and started to head towards the man harassing your friend.
—Aneko, duck— you demanded in a firm voice behind her, the confused boy looked in your direction. When the redhead ducked, your fist had managed to meet the boy's face. —Fucking bitch— he howled as he held his bloody nose. —What the fuck do you think you are to even try to touch her—, the seriousness remained in your voice. —The doll looked needy—, the boy replied, glaring at your friend. Aneko clung to your arm, cowering fearfully behind you, and with that sentence, your patience ran out.
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
Tristan entered, exhausted, in the comfort of his own home, not a sound to be heard, a quietness that rarely occurred with his noisy wife at home. He smiled patiently as he set his jacket and mate in front of the coat rack. He made his way to the living room, on the table he saw a mysterious piece of paper. He frowned as he grabbed and read the paper carefully, "We went to buy some things for lunch, we'll be back in a few moments <3" he read, he recognised his beloved wife's handwriting. He pocketed the paper and headed for the kitchen. He sat down in one of the chairs as he pulled out a newspaper to read.
Minutes later, the unexpected happened.
The kitchen phone rang.
The black-haired man looked up from his newspaper, who was calling at this hour? He got up from his comfortable chair to walk lazily to the phone and answered it.
—May I ask who it is?
—Tristan, darling— he heard his beloved wife's nervous voice through the phone.
—Anekora, is everything alright?—asked Tristan, extremely worried, something was wrong and he could feel it.
—It's not good at all, it's (y/n), it's hard to explain.
—Where are you?—Instead of asking, Tristan demanded.
—We're at the grocery shop, the one next to the hardware store.
Tristan frowned as he heard a couple of shouts from the other line.
—Come quickly, please, my love.
—Tristan? Darling?
Aneko's voice could be heard through the dangling telephone on the wall in the kitchen. Tristan hurried down the street, leaving his keys behind, dropping everything to get to the place. He didn't care about anything right now.
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
Blow after blow, your knuckles were deteriorating as they got stronger and stronger. —(y/n)! Please! Stop it, you'll kill him!— You heard Aneko scream, and a small crowd of teenagers came to watch the scene.
—You bastard.
Punch.
—You bastard.
Punch.
—You bastard!
You were surprised to feel strong, muscular arms grabbing your waist. Pulling your small body away from the boy you were hitting, firmly gripping your waist.
—Who are you?! Let go of me!
You squirmed in the man's arms, before digging your elbow into his stomach to get away from him. He let go, clutching his stomach on impact, leaving you free to continue punching the boy underneath you.
—(y/n)!—You heard Tristan's voice calling out to you, felt his hands grab you, and managed to stop you. The boy lay dying on the ground, trying to breathe and process the information of the situation.
—(y/n) (y/l/n) what the hell are you thinking getting into this kind of situation like this—, Tristan scolded you, grabbing your men, you looked down, unwilling to face your friend's fury.
A middle-aged woman approached, apparently the owner of the shop. —Excuse me, sorry to butt in, but the girls were just defending themselves against harassment, it's not the girl's fault —.Tristan let go of (y/n), they both stood up, Tristan went over to the shop assistant to further inform himself of what had happened.
Meanwhile, Aneko nervously turned to the man who had tried to stop her friend's attack.
—Sir, are you alright?—asked Aneko, embarrassed. The man tried to pull himself together, (y/n) looked at him, watching his hand run through his long blonde locks. —Yes, don't worry, miss, it was a pretty hard blow— he replied.
Aneko kept apologizing repeatedly, as (y/n) kept watching him, your gaze traced his wonderful arms, through his work shirt you could see a toned muscle, your eyes went upwards, no doubt he was taller than you, glimpsing a sharp jaw. In the end, you ended up looking directly into his blue eyes. The man noticed your steady gaze, looked in your direction, and you shyly moved closer to Aneko, not taking your eyes off him.
—I owe you an apology— you managed to speak with difficulty, Aneko turned in your direction, somewhat surprised at your apology. A hand rested on your right arm, it was Tristan who this time had approached the small group of three that had formed. —That's right, and a big thank you, without you that madwoman—he looked minutely in your direction, and you felt the back of your neck burn under Tristan's gaze. —She would have ended up killing someone—, Tristan finished the sentence, and he extended his free arm in a handshake, firmly, the sturdy stranger returned the friendly greeting.
—Wow, that's a lot of apologies in one day— he joked, letting out a small laugh. Tristan and Aneko returned the joke, but you decided to keep quiet.
—I hope you're not hurt, and I apologise for the great inconvenience we've caused you—,Tristan apologised for the last time. Aneko animatedly pulled a small card from her purse and held it out to the man, the card contained a phone number and Aneko's home address.
—Feel free to stop by and say hello if you live nearby. I would be very grateful if you would accept my proposal to come to our house for dinner. It's a thank you for controlling a fierce woman—.This time, it was Aneko who joked, the gentleman let out a slight smile.
—I have to go, but it's been a pleasure to help— he said goodbye, Aneko and Tristan said goodbye in return and turned and headed for home.
You, however, were still standing there, staring at the man in front of you at that moment. —I never thought such a frail body could strike like that—the deep voice brought you out of your thoughts, you looked at him again carefully, smiled slightly at him. —Thank you for helping, Sir— you realised, he hadn't even said his name or introduced himself, a blush appeared on your cheeks. —Shaw, Al Shaw— Al replied.
—Thank you, Mr. Shaw for helping me— saying goodbye, you turned around trying to catch up with your friends in the opposite direction.
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
Days after...
—You've been acting weird for days, something's going on in that head of yours—. Aneko put your plate on the table, you had returned from work just in time for lunch, and found Aneko inside your house preparing lunch. —I wonder how the hell you got into my house again—, Aneko laughed lightly at your verdict.
—You always leave the copy key under the third potted plant on the left—,  she turned around to continue preparing another dish.
—This is breaking and entering, and you know it— you huffed exhaustedly. Aneko nodded cheerfully.
—Tell me the truth—, demanded Aneko, thus beginning the curious conversation.
—What truth am I supposed to tell?— you asked, slightly apprehensive.
—You've been very absent-minded for a couple of days, it's as if your mind decided to go somewhere else—,she paused slightly, —or maybe... On someone else—.
And Aneko was right. For days, from the moment you met Al, you hadn't stopped thinking about him, something made you curious, his mysterious countenance, his large body size, or even his deep blue eyes, looking straight into your soul. And that, no doubt, Aneko could read him.
—It's the man from the other day—said Aneko, it didn't really sound like a question.
—I think yes, there's something about it... It doesn't add up.
—The one that definitely doesn't add up is you— Aneko turned around, somewhat indignant at the situation, whipped the damp cloth lightly against you, instilling a sense of annoyance.
—This is your chance. Think about it, your brother will have to go to university in a few months and you'll be alone at home, it's been years since you've been with someone.
—Try to give him a chance, I've seen the way he looks at you, you're definitely his interest.
—How can you be so sure of that? Maybe he's married or has children... Or something like that.
-—Because he told me so—answered Aneko, you were stunned by his answer.
—Do you want to know or would you rather have flies coming in through your mouth—Aneko raised his hand to gently close his jaw, as he sat down in the chair next to you, with his own plate. You nodded energetically.
—Well, then…
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
Two days ago...
Aneko had decided that day to go to the grocery shop again.
While she was looking for the ingredients, she bumped into the body of another person, turning around, she saw a man with a top hat, a white face and a pair of dark glasses. Aneko quickly realised who it was.
—How nice! You're the man who helped us—Aneko greeted the man warmly. Albert was surprised, it was very unlikely that he would recognise him from the way he looked. Very nervous, he replied, —Well, what a nice surprise to meet you—.
—I see that this time she's not accompanied by her friend—mentioned Albert, Aneko proposed to help him with the shopping, and although he refused, he couldn't with Aneko's insistent fierceness.
—She'll be on her afternoon shift right now, are you curious about her?
—I just wanted to know if she was all right—Aneko glanced sideways at her current companion. —Are you married or do you have children?—The woman changed the topic of conversation drastically, puzzling the man, who, very surprised, replied.
-—What? Why do you ask?— Aneko looked at him again with a pleasant smile.
-You seem very interested in (y/n).
Albert was silent for a few moments, Aneko wasn't lying. Ever since that day he'd stopped the girl, he hadn't stopped thinking about her for a second of the day, hoping to find her again, a strange feeling he hadn't felt in many years. Of course, he has had a couple of relationships, but never the feeling he had when he saw her.
—Are you still going to the thank you dinner?
Aneko's eyes lit up, excitedly nodding happily, with the knowledge that the proposal was directed exclusively towards her best friend, (y/n).
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
—And he's coming to our house this evening, for dinner— Aneko finished the story, taking a sip of her lemonade. Looking carefully at the blushing face of her friend who had reached the 100 types of red possible on a human face.
Of course you wanted to see him, you haven't stopped thinking about him since that day and you had a great magnetic feeling inside you that you wanted to get closer to him, to get to know him, to be interested in him.
—The dress is in your room, you're coming too— Aneko got up from the table as she picked up the empty plates from both of them. Turning to the sink, she began to clear the dishes. —And it's an order, not a question—.
You sighed exhaustedly.
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
You looked in the mirror a little resentful of the dress Aneko gave you, it was a wine colour that highlighted your face and the colour of your skin, with a plunging V neckline showing your collarbone, the skirt, six toes above the knee highlighted your legs along with the black boots you wore. The outfit highlighted every curve, every softness in your body, without a doubt, you looked wonderful.
You had tied your hair up in a simple ponytail, nothing about your outfit was really fancy or sophisticated, a simple, casual dress that brought out the perfect in you.
Aneko certainly made the best choice.
You went to grab a bag where you put your house keys and went out. The slight cold breeze whipped your face, it was already dark, but the streetlights illuminate the streets well. You started walking towards your two friend´s house, a couple of blocks down the street from your house. It didn't take you more than 10 minutes to get there.
You spotted a car, right in front of the house. "Tristan's car is in the garage, is it...", you realised that this car must belong to the new dinner companion.
You moved closer to what appeared to be the van. "Abracadabra, entertainment and supplies," you read inwardly, turning around, you headed towards the door of the house, and before you could knock on the door, it opened.
Aneko greeted you with a mischievous smile.
—Hi sweetie— she greeted you lovingly, letting you pass, and you stepped carefully in, returning the greeting. You heard a couple of chuckles coming from the living room.
—Come, we're in the living room, we've been waiting for you.
—Am I too late?—Aneko shook her head as you headed for the living room. —Not at all, you're on time, make yourself at home as usual—.
You walked in, your gaze automatically shifted to the sturdy man sitting on one of the sofas, and you looked at him carefully for a few seconds.
He wore a red jumper, over it a black shirt, with trousers and shoes of the same colour, his rings made his hands look bigger and more dominant.
He looked up at you, stopping directly in your eyes, creating a tense eye contact between the two of you.
He observed every curve, relief, detail of you, the shape of your dress, how good it looked on you, your hair cascading down your shoulders further accentuating your jaw and neck. Your bright eyes looking up at him, your skin glowing in the dim light of the lamp beside you, wondering if your skin is as smooth as it looks.
Aneko and Tristan watched the scene in front of them in amusement, Aneko made a heart shape with his hands while Tristan held back a small laugh. — Let's leave the couple talking— Aneko whispered in Tristan's ear, and seconds later they both decided to retire to the dining room to prepare the table.
Albert stood up from the sofa, facing you, the difference in height between the two of you was considerably noticeable, you shyly broke eye contact by looking slightly down at the floor.—I-I didn't think you'd be here tonight— you began, still feeling his bluish gaze on you, making your nerves and your insides start to get very hot.
—Neither do I —he replied, and you looked up again, revealing your slight blush. For a few seconds you were silent, until you decided to start the conversation.
— I'm sorry, I punched you in the stomach, I... I was very angry at the time...— you said shyly, a little afraid of the answer. He offered you a small smile, — Don't worry about it, it's forgotten—  he replied, you nodded momentarily. Albert offered to sit down, a little awkwardly, you agreed very shyly.
Meanwhile, in the dining room, Aneko put a glass on the wall so she could listen to the conversation on the other side of the door. —Where was the right to privacy?—Tristan asked as he set a couple of plates on the table, Aneko motioned for him to come over and listen to the conversation on the other side as well. Tristan looked at her and, leaving what he was doing, hurried to his wife's side with another glass.
You and Albert laughed, you seemed to have matched each other perfectly, him with his shyness and you with your new confidence towards him, unafraid to start getting to know him and opening up.
—I should have known, you were the man who works in the hardware store next to the shop— you pointed out, looking closely at his one arm.
—I've been here for quite a few years, but I've never seen you until now.
—I know, everyone in Denver is supposed to know everyone, I moved in with my younger brother a few months ago.
Undoubtedly, the conversation flowed between the two, feeling a strange familiarity, a magnetism between the bodies, an inordinate attraction.
Aneko had finished preparing the dining room and called the couple from the living room to dinner.
◆══════════●★●═══════════◆
—It has been a pleasure meeting you Albert! See you tomorrow (y/n)!— Aneko said goodbye happily with her hand, next to Tristán.
When she closed the door, again, Albert and you were left alone. You were silent for a few moments, dinner had gone wonderfully, but your nervousness was still persistent, nervous to be alone with him.
He looked at you, you looked back at him. —I'll accompany you home? Do you live far away?—He asked.
—Don't worry, I live 5 minutes away, I can go alone— you responded shyly, —I insist, I would not like to discover that you have been kidnapped for going alone in the middle of the night— you laughed slightly at his insistence, you sweetly accepted his proposal and you began to walk in the direction of your house.
—It's been a nice dinner—you started the conversation.
—Yes, it's nice with you.
You smiled slightly at his answer, god, you liked that sweetness so much. You kept talking about trivial things, the words and gestures flowed naturally.
You arrived home, accompanied by Albert, kindly he even walked you to the front door.
—Thanks for coming with me…— you said as you opened the door, stopping to turn towards him. He gave you a sweet smile.
—I hope that the next dinner you have is with me— you were a little surprised at the question, "is… is he proposing a date?" you blushed at the thought, until now, no one had dared to ask you out on a date.
—Don't doubt that.
You looked into each other's eyes, your eyes shining in the light while you got lost in that wonderful blue sea of his, slowly you stood on tiptoe, Albert brought his body closer to yours.
You felt his lips brush against yours while breathing became irregular and bodies reached their maximum temperature. Passing his hands around your waist, holding you firmly, he did it, he kissed you slowly.
You felt the sweetness in a kiss, the passion that he felt towards aunt and that he was trying to hide since dinner, he couldn't contain himself anymore, much less you. You put your arms around his neck deepening the kiss, while you caressed his long hair, after a few seconds you separated due to lack of air.
You looked into each other's eyes again, exhaling for lack of air.
Never come to feel those feelings with a person, only with you.
You both melted that same night, feeling the warmth of the other united, listening to the wonderful music that your mouths produced at the contact of the skin of both rubbing against each other, making you his, and you, making him yours that night.
And he didn't want it to end, neither of them wanted to feel the end of that nocturnal meeting between them.
He didn't want you to know that he was The Grabber.

You are giving me so many feelings about Darryl. Can we get a scenario just... Becoming Darryl's safe person? The one that protects them, treats them gently, and the one they can trust?
"Ah, are you sure you don't need me to drop you home? It'll be no problem, really!"
"Ohh no. It's ok, man. I'll text you when I get home. Goodnight, now!"
The brunette sighs, before waving and giving you a small wobbly smile. Closing the door and locking it with trembling hands. They turn around, but make no move to head towards their bedroom, instead choosing to stare at their living room. At the two glasses sitting on the coffee table, one still half full with mulled wine.
This was the first time Darryl had invited you over, they'd brought up the idea almost desperately when you were going over things you both could do together for your weekly hangout every Saturday. You'd stared at them with wide eyes, clearly not have expected that. But you recovered fairly quickly, and agreed with a grin.
You hadn't asked them why they were so eager for you to come over, but then again you probably didn't think it was too weird, either. After all, you weren't aware of how they thought. Aware of how they'd never invited anyone to their house for years now. Aware of how scenarios of people taking advantage of them in their own home ran in their mind whenever someone brought up the prospect. Aware of how they'd stammer and suggest meeting up at the cafe, or the park or literally anywhere other than a secluded place instead.
This was a very big step for them. They'd thought over it weeks before, about how you were probably one of the most trusted people for them. And how while he still flinched if you made any sudden movement, he couldn't imagine you ever inflicting any sort of damage over him.
You were just so nice. So understanding of him. When it was only your fourth day on the job, you abandoned the bar to instead comfort him and make sure he was ok after a person at the club tried to get their way with them. Not before smashing a glass over their head, of course. You'd made attempts to make conversation with them before, but it was after that day when they themself started reciprocating it. And now, you were their friend. Not their only one, but the one they felt they could tell what was plaguing their mind without fear of judgement.
They're almost ashamed. All it took was someone being a decent person and they were attached. Their opinion of you positively skyrocketed that day.
So they did it. And you came over, and you both had a good time. Talking about random things over a glass of wine each (Darryl barely drank from theirs. They're thankful that you didn't bring it up. They'd surely feel ashamed if you did.)
It wasn't a necessity to invite every friend over to your home at least once, of course. But Darryl wanted to get better. They wanted to be able to walk the streets without anxiety creeping in every time someone walked a bit too close to them. They wanted to be able to wear what they wanted without fearing people's eyes on them. So this was a start.
Bringing the person they trusted the most into their safe space was a start.
And maybe, just maybe...
They're proud of themself for taking that step.

Well, aren't you a Lamb?
This is my first submission for @choicesflashfics using the prompt "I saw this and it reminded me of you." Since yesterday was Easter, this idea immediately popped into my head. I hope you enjoy. I've also added a little 'visual aid' to give you the full picture 🤣
Book: The Royal Romance
Pairing: TRR gang
Word count: 876
Warnings/content: language; silly fluff
It was Easter Sunday.  Riley wanted to share some of her American customs with her friends and family so Liam rented a huge cabin in upstate New York. Riley and Hannah got busy in the kitchen while Liam, Drake, and Maxwell ventured out into the nearby town for some necessities. Drake pulled the SUV into a parking spot and the three got out of the vehicle. "Ahhh. Smell that?" Drake inhaled, stretching his arms out. "That's the smell of fresh air right there."
Liam grinned and shook his head. "This town suits you, Drake."
Maxwell continued to sniff in the air. "I don't know Drake, all I smell is," he sniffed again. "Cinnamon. Oh man, that smells good." Maxwell took off towards the bakery.
"Maxwell, wait-" Liam yelled.
"Let him go Li. Let's go get the other stuff we need. We can collect Maxwell after we are done."
Liam looked hesitantly toward the direction Max took off in. "I don't know Drake.." A barrage of bad scenarios played out in his mind.
"Hell be fine. Let's go."
Liam shook the thoughts from his mind and joined Drake. After Liam and Drake went to the Liquor store and grocery, they headed further into town to look for Maxwell.
"Well, I don't see any firey crashes, or loose wildlife roaming the streets. No ones running in fear, so it looks like a win." Drake teased.
"We haven't found Maxwell yet, don't rush to conclusions " Liam sighed, Drake chuckled, clasping him on the back. Just as Maxwell emerged from the bakery, carrying a giant-sized sized pastry box.
"Liam! Drake! I was just coming to find you guys. I got dessert for dinner!" Maxwell beamed.
"Oh, that sounds wonderful Max. What did you get us?" Liam smiled trying to lift the box and sneak a peak. Maxwell quickly pulled the box out of Liam's reach. "Oh no Liam, it's a surprise.  I can't show you. You'll see at dinner, let's go." Maxwell turned on his heel and took off for the car. Liam stood rooted in place Drake coming up and standing next to him.
"You want to know what's in that box don't you?" Drake snickered.
"I shouldn't.  I really should but,"
"You do." Drake finished for him.
"Yup."
After a short drive, the guys made it back to the cabin. They helped Riley and Hannah put everything away and spent most of the day relaxing before it was time to eat.  After a large dinner, the group sat around the table before Hannah pulled a pie from the kitchen and placed it on the table. "I made a chocolate silk pie. I hope you love it." She smiled.
"It looks delicious, Hannah. I can't wait to dig in." Riley licked her lips just asMaxwelll came barging into the dining room carrying the big box. He dropped it right down on the table making the table shake and some glasses fell over.
"Finally. "Liam breathed out. It was finally time to find out what Maxwell had in the box. The contents plagued Liam the entire day while Drake teased him with his thoughts.  Exploding pasty, undercooked cookies, blood pudding, or dirt pudding equipt with real live worms were just a few ideas Drake tossed out. Liam shuddered at the thought.
"What do we have here, Maxwell?" Riley quirked her brow.
"Well there we were in town when Drake was rambling on about fresh air but all I could smell was cinnamon.  So I ran into the bakery and found this." He gently tapped on the box. "I saw this and it reminded me of you." He smiled brightly at Drake.
"Aww hell," Drake grunted as Liam peered closer in anticipation. Maxwell finally lifted the top of the box revealing a cake shaped like a lamb. It had blue jellybeans for eyes that started to melt and turn to jelly, one eye slid making it droop. Its nose, also a red jelly bean also melted, causing a bit of redness that resembled a  light coloring of blood just above the makeshift mouth, complete with a grouping of crooked, jagged, rotten teeth.  Hanna gasped and covered her eyes with her hands.
"I talked the girls at the bakery into letting me redecorate his face. Doesn't it look just like Drake?"
"The similarities are uncanny, Max." Riley assured him trying to keep a straight face.
Liam broke out into a fit of giggles as Drake sat there with a deep frown on his face.
"It looks like it might eat me." Hannah peered between her fingers, which made Liam laugh even harder.
"Drake, aren't you going to say anything to Maxwell?" Riley pressed.
"Nope," Drake grunted again.
"Drake." She warned and Drake rolled his eyes.
"Fine." He sighed, turning towards Maxwell. "Ah. Thank you for this um thing."
Maxwell's smile grew even bigger. "Any time buddy." He clasped Drake on the shoulder. "I thought to myself, Drake loves animals and this one, well I had to make him look like he belonged to you."
"Well, it's fitting. I'm in hell, why not have a demented Lamb to tie it all together." He shook his head. He had been to an American Easter before but this one was literally the weirdest Easter ever.

Time, wondrous time
Gave me the blues and then purple pink skies
And it's cool, baby, with me
invisible strings - Taylor Swift
Chapter 3
Mika feels like a train hit her when she wakes up. She’s groggy and her heads fuzzy. She opens her eyes and is confused she isn’t in her bedroom. She realizes she’s in her grandfather’s room and the events from yesterday hit her hard and fast.
The funeral, the lawyers, her father…how her father hit her. She remembers falling asleep on the couch after coming in but she doesn’t remember going to the bedroom.
She must have just woken up in the middle of night, probably after that strange stress induced dream.
She rubs her forehead and pulls her hair back, she’s still thinking about the dream. Why would she dream about five strange men who were sex demons? It’s so out of left field. It felt so real too.
She tries to will it away from her head, as she flops back down onto the bed. As she stares up at the ceiling she does realize she’s in her grandfather’s room…with all of his possessions and clothes.
God, the bed hasn’t even been changed probably from when he last slept in it.
Tears are brimming at the edge of Mika’s eyes. She’s so tired of crying. The emptiness in her heart overwhelms her. She stares as the ceiling fan above her head spins and tries to not think about the missing piece she feels in her heart. She tries to go back to sleep.
Then a soft knocking at her door has her rapt attention. Mika’s eyes are wide as she looks towards the door and her heart beats wildly in fear.
“Can I come in?” a soft male voice comes from the other side of the door.
She panics for a moment her body seizes up. The men from her dream were not a dream at all. It was real, and a demon was at her door… a very polite demon.
She doesn’t know what to do as her brain runs through a million different scenarios.
“I’m not going to use my powers, I just wanted you to know we’ve made breakfast for you.” He tells her softly through the door.
She releases a breath she didn’t know she was holding in before letting her guard down, “Come in.”
The door slowly cracks open and Damien peaks his head in and keeps a respectable distance away from her.
Her brain is running a mile a minute, asking different questions like a rolodex in her head. She doesn’t even know which one to ask first or if she should at all.
Before she can keep spiraling in her head Damien speaks up, “Everything last night was real and we are incubi.” He says softly.
He senses her hesitancy and he follows up quickly, “We will not use our powers on you again, it was uncalled for last night. I can unfortunately read minds and that doesn’t turn off, I wish it did.” He reassures her.
Her anxiety calms with the comfort they won’t use their power on her again. Damien could just be lying but he seems to be the calmest out of the five men.
We immediately put you to bed after you passed out and cleaned the entryway. I’d like to figure out how to cohabitate with you, but we understand if you want us to leave.”
Damien’s soft-spoken but clear and direct in his words. Mika appreciates it.
He just unloaded a lot of information for her, and she sits in the bed, playing with the covers, trying to process it all. Damien waits by the door patiently, knowing that she’s in deep thought.
She takes a breath and looks up at him, “I… against my better judgement, want you guys to stay here. I don’t want to just kick you out to the streets…Grandpa gave you a home. I’ll stand by his choices, but I need help to take care of this place. Chores and jobs, like, paying any bills and groceries.” She starts rattling off just what she knows.
“I’d like to be warned if anyone uses there powers beforehand… and absolutely no more kissing me without my explicit consent. I don’t like feeling that I don’t have a choice with my body.” She adds looking at him directly with a sharp tone.
She’s clutching the bedding so tight her knuckles are white as she tells him this. She doesn’t know how he’ll react and that’s scary enough.
“We can do that.” He says calmly.
She just nods to him in acknowledgement.
“If you want, we made breakfast. If not feel free to come downstairs when you like. We can sit together for lunch to talk to the others.”
She gives him a small smile and Damien leaves her be.
Mika doesn’t get up to go eat, instead just stays in bed. She also wants to crawl out of the bed because it feels gross. It makes her stomach churn to be in her Grandpa’s bed knowing it hasn’t been washed…but it also oddly reassures her because it still smells like him.
She can’t look around the room without knowing all of her Grandpa’s belongings surround her.
She squeezes her eyes shut trying to block out the heavy thoughts. Her head is pounding and all she wants to do is sleep. She curls herself under the heavy duvet and holds herself together.
Mika goes in and out of consciousness for an unmeasurable amount of time. It’s not a refreshing sleep. She tosses and turns and finds herself waking up from nightmares that have her sobbing into the pillows.
The noises she makes are gut wrenching.
When she finally decides to crawl out it’s roughly one in the afternoon. Dragging herself into the bathroom to shower makes her feel more exhausted than it should. For someone who slept as much as she did, she isn’t very energetic.
When she finally makes it downstairs, she hears murmurs of conversations. She doesn’t mean to eavesdrop but she can’t help it when one voice carries itself louder than the rest.
“Why the hell should we do anything she asks?” Sam’s voice booms through the threshold separating her from the dining room. She couldn’t miss his tone from a mile away.
“Sam, she lost her Grandfather-”a new voice speaks up, lighter and more careful.
“So what? We lost him too!” Sam’s voice is irritated as he talks to his siblings.
“That’s not what I’m saying! Someone back me up here.”
She hears a heavy sigh followed by a sterner voice. “Sam, Matthew’s right. We should at least play nice with her… Harold did want us to meet.”
“Thank you James!” The lighter voice, Matthew’s, states.
“She’s around the corner…” Damien’s soft voice chimes in.
She sighs, knowing she couldn’t hide there forever, not with Damien. She hesitantly stepped forward into the dinning room.
She waves awkwardly in acknowledgement. Sam’s eyes are burning into her skin with a glare. She doesn’t miss the pointed look from Erik or the calculating gaze James gives her either. The only kind eyes she can meet are Damien and Matthew’s.
She stands there’s waiting for someone to say something, the silence eating away at her slowly. The anxiety is almost pouring out of her body in how she shifts her weight on her feet.
Damien notices it, and suggests that they sit down at the table. “Come on, why don’t we all just sit down and agree on a few basic things?” he suggests.
The brother’s energy shifts in the room, and all of them without hesitating go to take a seat.
She slowly moves to the open chair next to Matthew, who’s happily smiling at her, and sits. Her leg shaking nervously under the table.
“Go on miss, please tell us how you would like us to cohabitate together.” James says. He has a smile on his face but there isn’t any warmth behind it. She hears the almost mocking tone as he calls her miss and it makes her itch. He’s mocking her.
She takes a grounding deep breath and tries to not let him get under her skin. If she sweats here she’s done. She will not let these men try to kick her from the only place she’s ever wanted to call home.
“I own this property, it’s in my name.” She tells him, “Sorry if you don’t like that but it’s legally mine, and I’m more than content to continue letting you all live here-“
“How generous.” Erik’s voices from across the table rolling his eyes. She bristles.
“Erik.” Matthew hisses out at his brother.
She steadies herself, “Listen, I know this isn’t ideal… I’m just asking that we all help around the house. Chore lists, making sure we all have jobs, I’m still in school trying to finish my degree right now and I work part time so I can’t keep up with cleaning this massive home.” She tries to level with them and just be honest. She’s so tired of fighting.
She left one house she was constantly trying to keep the peace in, she didn’t need to trade it for a new one.
“I think that sounds reasonable enough.” James says still looking at her like he’s calculating her every move. It makes her uneasy.
“I also need to know what happened yesterday… why were you all covered in blood? And, no offense, it looked like you got your asses beat.” She asks, mostly out of curiosity but also because she can’t imagine many things hurting demons.
Sam scoffs at her blunt observation.
The brothers all wearily look between one another. Debating amongst themselves how much they want to tell her.
James crosses his arms and answers, “We were on our way home and some unsavory and territorial devils found us. We were already low on energy.”
She tilts her head in confusion at the term devils but doesn’t press. She doesn’t want to rock the boat yet… or any more than she already has.
She wonders if the devils, as James put it, will follow them to the house or try to attack them here.
Damien turns to her, “Your Grandpa protected this home, so don’t worry about them trying to come and attack us.” He reassures her.
“We’d kill them anyway if they did show their faces.” Sam grunts out in annoyance.
Damien gives Sam a sharp look before turning back to Mika. “Is there anything else we should go over?”
She’s quiet in thought before she looks around the table at them, “Do not use your powers on me. I didn’t like it yesterday and I don’t care if you’re an incubus or not. I will kick you out after I beat your ass.” She says glaring at Sam and Erik. She means it though, she hated not feeling in control of herself and she doesn’t want to feel like that again.
Erik eases up for a moment, “That’s reasonable… I am sorry about yesterday as I’m sure Sam is too. We were unsavory to just take your energy like that.” His apology seems sincere enough for Mika.
Sam sits still as stone, arms crossed over his chest as he looks at her from the corner of his eye. He doesn’t say anything but gives a small nod of agreement.
If she didn’t know any better, she’d think he was embarrassed. He didn’t like looking at her to begin with, but the way he’s avoiding her gaze right now is clear.
Matthew kicks Sam’s leg under the table, “Sam, apologize!” He hisses out to his brother.
Sam’s head turns to glare at his younger brother. “I did yesterday Matthew!” He grits out.
She doesn’t press Sam. She just wants to end this already draining conversation.
“Is there anything you all need from me?” She asks them, “To make this situation… better?”
“Stay out of our rooms. We will never enter yours unless you ask us. Please respect our independent spaces as well.” James tells her, voice clear with no hesitancy.
She nods in agreement, “Well perfect, we can go through the nitty gritty stuff later.” She moves to stand, ready to just go back to her room and escape this awkward afternoon.
She gives Damien and Matthew a tight smile and waves goodbye. She avoids James, Erik, and Sam opting to beeline straight for her belongings she left in the entryway. She needs to just gather her things and be alone.
She makes it back up to her grandfather’s rooms, her room. She stands in front of the door and it feels so much bigger than it did before. While she woke up in there, it feels wrong claiming it as her room.
She feels the heaviness of the emptiness sit in her chest. She doesn’t know if she can go back in.
She wonders if the guest room she always used is still open or if one of the boys have taken it. Probably, there is five of them.
She debates on if she should just sleep on the couch or not, the last thing she really wants is to be back in that bed.
While she’s stuck in her head a hand comes down on her shoulder making her jump. She whips around to find Matthew wide eyed and hands recoiled back.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you! I thought you heard me coming.” He says with a soft chuckle. His brows are furrowed in concern as he looks at her holding her bag with a vice like grip.
“You okay?” he asks.
No, of course she wasn’t okay. She wants to crawl into a bed and never come back out, she wants to bawl her eyes out, she wants to be left alone to wallow in his misery.
She doesn’t realize she’s been crying this whole time until Matthew’s hand brushes her tears away. He looks at her with sympathy.
“It’ll be alright…we’ll get through this.” He tells her softly as he eases her tight grip on her bags. She releases them and she takes a shaky breath. Matthew’s words are the first kind words of reassurance she’s heard since the funeral.
She opens her mouth to respond but all that comes out is a choked sob. Matthew’s own face crumbles and he hesitates for a brief moment.
“Can I- do you want a hug?” he asks her hesitantly.
She doesn’t think twice about taking him up on the offer. She wraps her arms around him and hides her face in his chest like a child, her tears pour down her face as she silently cries into Matthew. He holds her firmly as his own tears fall silently.
They share in the mutual grief even if they may be strangers. A small weight lifts off her chest with his acknowledgement of her sorrow.

"Jaune Gets A Gun AU - Day 3" Zombie Rampage...
Doom / Ash vs Evil Dead / Lollipop Chainsaw
All five girls shuffled behind Jaune as he walked back into the Convention Centre for the third day of the event. He was embarrassed and a little upset, plus confused. His lips were bruised, his face red, and his neck covered in hickeys and love bites. He knew ever single person that saw him was judging him.
The girls were a little embarrassed themselves, having given into their urges and competitive impulses. They all knew they had all molested the man, and for Emerald the girl of their dreams. Add in the fact he hadn't said two words to them since the incident, they all were worried they took it too far.
Jaune: (Over his shoulder) Best behaviour. We're here to get me a ranged option.
The quintet of young women nodded in agreement.
Jaune: And we will talk about what hap...
Bystander: RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
Civilian: NO! IT CAN'T BE!?!
Street Prophet: I WAS RIGHT!
Tumblr media
The crowd started to push past the sextet. All their eyes trying to see what was causing such wide panic.
Jaune: Over there...
Tumblr media
Ruby/Pyrrha/Tiny Tina/Jinx: What the...
Emerald: What ARE those...
Jaune: Zombies.
The Girls: Say, what now?
Jaune: I want you all to stay back.
Pyrrha: We can help!
Jaune: No, you can't. I need you all to get to safety.
Ruby: Yes, we CAN!
Jaune: Have you ever been bitten by a Zombie?
Ruby: (Meekly) No.
Jaune: Even the slightest scratch, even with aura, you would doom yourselves to turning...
Tiny Tina: What about you? If that could happen to us, it could...
Jaune: It can't. I've been bitten before... and apparently I'm immune.
Tiny Tina/Jinx/Ruby/Emerald/Pyrrha: Say, what now?
Jaune: Get to safety!
The girls hesitated as Jaune reached out his hand and pulled a familiar looking chainsaw from thin air.
Pyrrha: Come with us, you can't do this alone!
????: He's not alone.
Tumblr media
Jaune: Ash? When did you get here?
Ash: Been here since the start of the convention. S-Mart Booth. Shop Smart Shop S-Mart.
Jaune: Is it just us?
????: Nope.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jaune: Juliet! Doom-guy!
Juliet: Hey, ya, Sweet cheeks! Looks like the gang's all back together!
Doom-Guy: (Grunts)
Tiny Tina: (To the other girls) Did he say the one in the armour's name is Doom-Guy?
The others just nod, and watch in complete and utter disbelief at this scenario, as Jaune starts his chant. Ia flash of light, Jaune changed.
Tumblr media
Juliet: You are so adorable in that outfit! I just want to accessorize with you!
Jaune: Maybe later, right now we have a city to save.
Ash: This is going to be... Groovy.
Doom-Guy: (Grunts)
The sound of four separate chainsaws roaring to life, causes the girls to step back, and with wide eyes, brimming with fear and horror they watch as the quartet of chainsaw wielders charges the horde...
Jaune: Hit the music!
Girls: Music?
Doom-Guy: (grunts as he touched a button on the inside of his forearm)

Ruby: I think I'm going to be sick.

As the slaughter raged on, the quintet of girls all had the same thought. Jaune was going to need a shower before any of them tried to kiss him again.
(SO SORRY, but I couldn't resist this idea when it popped into my head! But on a side note, "Somewhere in Vale..." is now cannon for this AU. Hope you enjoyed.)
