Wrestling with social norms and constructs. It's depressing how they actually have relationships with stereotypes.
Why are people all the same
Theyre so boring

It's not uncommon to see posts on social media advocating for the idea that adults should be able to enjoy things that are not necessarily intended for their age group. Many people find comfort and enjoyment in hobbies and media that are often associated with children or younger audiences. However, it's important to remember that there are certain lines that should not be crossed when it comes to consuming media.
For example, it's one thing for an adult to enjoy a show like Pokemon or Gundam, which may be marketed towards a younger audience, but are still enjoyable for people of all ages. However, it's quite another thing when someone is actively shipping a 40-year-old man with a child character from a show like Sophia the First. This is not only inappropriate but potentially harmful to the young audience that the show is intended for.
As adults, we have a responsibility to consume media in a responsible way and to consider the impact that our actions may have on others. While it's okay to enjoy things that may be considered "childish" by some, it's important to draw the line at behavior that can be harmful or inappropriate. We should strive to create a safe and respectful online community where everyone can enjoy their interests without causing harm to others.

Stigma: Menstruation
Stigma: Menstruation
In my previous post, Stigma: Mental Health, I shared the mechanisms and origin of stigma on mental health. Another topic, that unfortunately is marked in most cultures, is the stigma of shame associated, with menstruators’ periods. If you do a quick google search about the stigma on menstruators’ periods, what you will find is that in most cultures and in some religions there’s a taboo associated…

i don my stripes
to cover up my true identity.
why must i conform?
hiding myself only to suffocate under my own camouflage
to stop the mental torture
i give in
placing the lock upon my own identity
i fade
losing myself is the true pain
anything to put a pause on the cacophony of berating voices

Beautiful Nasihah written by a brother
I ask Allah to have mercy upon the sisters, whom when they read Islamic knowledge that challenges the social norms they've been taught, they immediately surpress their emotions and submitt to the truth, may Allah increase them in steadfastness.
Several brothers and sisters post good content about socialnorms, the differences between men and women, and their different roles according to the deen of Allah and the fitrah that they have been created upon, [something that's been challenged and tainted by the human devil's].
It is important to understand why this is, and the reasoning behind it, as it's not done to provoke a gender "war" or "us versus them."
One example is the post I myself posted yesterday, which I knew beforehand, would cause reactions amongst people who have been poisoned by the devilish agenda of feminism against the "evils" of patriarchy.
So why do I post such content, besides the obvious reason of sharing beneficial knowledge? Is it to provoke and boast prideful about being born a man?
Of course not, and before answering that question, our sisters need to know that it is not an easy task for a man today to be قوام [qawam] and step up to the natural role which Allah has created man to be when bombarded by propaganda from right to left, demonised and targeted by both outer and inner enemies.
The enemy knows how to destroy nations, and it is commonly known that you need to corrupt the women of a society, for them to rebel against their leaders [husbands] and raise a weak, submissive generation, which in turn raises an even weaker generation of effeminate men and dominant women [whom by nature will not be able to fulfil the role of men], hence you can control that nation.
So the aim of these posts is not only aimed at women to come back to their fitrah, but they are also targeting men to step up to their roles and break free from the weakness they're in.
Look at the situation of the ummah, why are we in this situation if not because of deviation? Deviation from the deen of Allah and deviation from the fitrah we were created upon, each one of us with their responsibilities in building a strong nation together as a society.
We need strong men on which this ummah will rebuild upon their shoulders and we need women who understand their role in this nation building.
We need to wake up from this deep slumber and we need to cleanse ourselves from the poison we are fed from every direction by our enemies, and that is why this work is needed!
JazakumAllahu kheiran.
— Ibn Ahmad

Embracing Identity: The Power of Having No Middle Name
Embracing Identity: The Power of Having No Middle Name #Identity #MiddleName #Individuality #SocialNorms #Conformity
What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance? What is your middle name? It’s a question often asked in casual conversations or bureaucratic forms, assumed to be a universal component of one’s identity. But for those like me, who possess no middle name, the inquiry becomes a subtle reminder of society’s relentless need to categorize and label every aspect of our…
