Okay that’s a relief. I’ve honestly been curious of how your au differs from canon, since the designs are so much different and clearly sun isn’t afraid of eclipse and solar flare doesn’t hate him. So what happened in this au? How is it set up?

Funny thing, I kind of don't have a whole idea of how the story is going to proceed, but I know how it starts and ends, which is something.

The changes really start after Bloodmoon is rebuilt (by the way, this AU takes place in the same universe as this post I made a while ago).

The premise of the story is that Jigsaw found one of Eclipse's backups and built a body for him.

When he is finally placed in the new body. Surprise! He's not an ordinary backup, he's the original Eclipse, who still remembers everything before he died.

One more surprise is that Solar Flare is with him, they also don't know how they got there.

And after that it's a little confusing for me about how the story is going, but one thing I know where it's going is the relationships between each character. First of all, yes, there will be ships, especially with Eclipse.

And about Sun and Eclipse, I like to imagine that Sun discovered that Eclipse was alive after finding him in a horrible situation, where he is almost dead or having a breakdown, problaby having a breakdown, and they end up building their relationship from there, with Sun understanding Eclipse in a way that he never thought he could and Eclipse respects and understands Sun in a way he didn't even know he was capable of.

I’m so glad Robin got to rip Eddie a new one in Hands Where I Can See Them!! And ohhhh since Wayne was home when Robin was chewing him out, maybe Wayne will come in with some good advice or just parental disappointment in how Eddie handled everything. Especially if Eddie has to explain exactly how Steve discovered that Eddie thought they weren’t dating.

I love it when Wayne is a mediator in fics, but I also understand if you don’t want to add him into the fic, I just think Eddie needs a calm third party who knows he didn’t mean to hurt Steve, but will be disappointed in how he handled everything. Like what if Wayne had woken up and heard Robin’s parting shot and wants to know what she meant by that. How did Eddie dismiss Steve last night?

Robin deserved to yell a bit! Not only did Eddie hurt her best friend (criminal offense), he also ruined her night, because Steve was upset, which means Robin is upset, yaknow? Like, of course she's going to do whatever she needs to help Steve out and make sure he's taken care of, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't rather nothing had happened to make that necessary in the first place

I actually did consider adding Wayne in at the end of the most recent part (did the man really sleep through that whole argument? we may never know), but I figured Eddie had probably been through enough for the moment without having to also immediately explain to his uncle what had happened. It bothers me when characters get dog-piled in fics for making a mistake - as in, person after person shuts them out or tells them how badly they've screwed up. It feels a little like saying that they really need to suffer before they can be forgiven, which doesn't sit right. Forgiveness should come from understanding how your behavior hurt someone and working to change that behavior; suffering doesn't teach you jack shit. But that's a different conversation! The point is, I'm at least trying to give Eddie breaks between people going "What were you thinking??" at him

I think Wayne will have to at least make an appearance, though. Steve's practically been living with them, and suddenly he's gone; Wayne could hardly fail to notice the change, even if Eddie wasn't suddenly moping around. And I do love mediator Wayne! The thing I want to avoid is using him as a kind of deus ex machina; I feel like sometimes we bring Wayne in to explain to Eddie how he's feeling, so Eddie doesn't have to work to reach those conclusions on his own (this happens with Robin for Steve, too, I think). It's helpful to have a third party as a sounding board, or to help break up self-destructive patterns, but I like it when characters have to do their own emotional heavy lifting

...anyway, that was probably a lot more rambling than you expected when you sent this ask, which was very kind of you to do and made me smile to read, so hopefully my answer didn't put you off??

My hot take is that the actual fucking German language of the Indo-European language family does not exist on Cybertron or anywhere else except Earth. Accents are arbitrary at worst and correlated with Cybertronian colonies and cities at best and I am so fucking sick of seeing people pepper actual German into his dialogue like he's a native speaker.

This take brought to you hot from the fires of my irrational yet blazing rage.

#I cannot STAND this #this is legitimately one of my worst and most specific pet peeves #the way I look at it is like: Cybertronian as a baseline gets translated into English with an advanced translator or some shit right #and it looks like the Iaconian dialect is the ''standard'' American accent #Megatron and Shockwave share an accent and we know Megs is from Tarn #same thing with Lugnut's (very slight) accent and knowing he's from Kaon #MY POINT IS accents are likely indicative of different dialects or accents of the spoken Cybertronian language #NOT EVIDENCE THAT INDO-EUROPEAN LANGUAGES HAVE TRANSCENDED THE SOLAR SYSTEM FOR FUCKS' SAKE #asks #tf #tfa

SDSKJ i wont kill u over that lol I'll try with some facts, some of this is still in progress just letting you knoww Lunar being a Flying/rock type pokemon he does just hover. His face is also like a Minior's where is can rotate separate from the head. He likes Sweets! Bloodmoon being a Midnight Lycanroc can be attributed by the Moon. Also seemingly the only non 'space' type at the moment. Sun's cape is literally the shape of Solgaleo's mane. Eclipse looks like he has tears running but they're cracks from his own fall. Moon's kind of why Lunar is alright now. At least in a physical sense.

Killcode IS from space, and tries to fight everything. A fun little thing about that is Midnight Lycanroc's really like to fight and win. Killcode struggles with form changing a bit. Sun and Moon in this au (incase no one reads my tags lol) would be coexisting in the same universe. Since they're kind of revered they're chilling by the Lake of the Sunne (or the Moone, im still thinkign which area would have which title. but since i mostly own the Pokemon Moon games i could go with Yeah Lake of the Sunne and on poni island theres Altar of the Moone. or i could reverse it. since both are correct.) Anyway, they don't normally get involved with others too often. Haven't fully decided on trainers and stuff but the au grows gradually. I did just add Killcode.
