found a little patch of wild sweet violets yesterday 🖤

top tip - these flowers are edible! you can candy them and use them to decorate cakes. if you're foraging, remember to always leave some for others to enjoy and to ensure they come back next year 💫

edit: these may be dog violets, which are still edible but don't have a strong taste. they smelled like sweet violets to me but @corvidaeus in the notes pointed out some differences so please double check any plants you plan to eat from the wild!
