Little walks around town

I headed to the gym last Saturday morning only to find out that it was closed due to some maintenance checks. What’s funny is I got up super early and prepared myself for a 2hr session that day. Tried checking the branch at Solenad if they were also doing maintenance but I ended up just doing a nice run around the area where they set up the fountain of lights. 

The drive from SM to Solenad was fun cause I had my windows down. Took CALAX so it didn't take too long. Arrived around 4am and was actually hesitant cause it was so dark to go for a run. And then there's this dog that kept me company while I was running so I actually felt safe. I just followed the trail with enough light cause the last thing I'd want is a frog jumping out of nowhere.

After an hour, I stayed near the "lake" and got my bands to do some sets and stretch then I decided to stay at the bench on the other side and have my 10 pages for the day and reflections while people start to arrive for a jog.

Took pictures of the surroundings cause they looked cool and peaceful. The thing about having a run in my town is that the people are so friendly that they would smile at you and say hi or nod back even if you have earphones on. Plus, there's not much pollution. The downside is the mud on your shoes but it's fixable.

I planned everything on that day only to have everything changed and it felt better. A change in routine and a change of scenery.

First-ever date with myself, and damn, I did treat her right.

I made an effort of getting up and going outside yesterday. Even though my bed wanted to embrace me all day, I refused to allow it. I took a bath and dressed nicely after a 12-hour sleep.

I had an idea for a place to visit but wasn't sure where to go, and then the i'll-figure-that-out-later-spontaneous-decision happened, just like I thought when it comes to taking the jeepney, I'll know where I want to go. AND IT HAPPENED EXACTLY LIKE THAT: I wanted to get some fresh air, cleanse my inner soul and thoughts, which means I need nature and don't want to go anywhere close. I visited Solenad Nuvali.

I can't believe I enjoyed being with so many people while admiring the beauty of nature, the innocent whines of children walking by, people conversing and smiling, trees swaying, and air whistling. I was walking alone and taking my time.

I looked for new slippers and shoes because I desperately needed them right now, but none fit my taste or size. As it turned out, I instead admired the place itself. I treated myself to a fine dining experience that I would never attempt alone before. I hadn't eaten anything that day and was craving a salad. I went looking for a restaurant and discovered one with no other customers. Finally, I thought to myself, I can eat comfortably, read my book, and enjoy the food. I truly did. The dinner was more than I expected; I wasn't full, but I didn't feel the urge to eat more because I was already satisfied.

I had never done these kinds of things alone before, and a strange feeling lingered, making me feel most of the time that I wished I was with someone right now but had to go through the day alone.

I treasured my own company, the surroundings, my book, the meal, and the serenity. I realized I wanted to go on more impromptu dates with myself. I wanted to be single, but I'm also worried of letting Anj go because this may be the final time the world brings our paths together. But fuck it, right?

Recently, we visited Nuvali again for nth time, and my experience was incredible. The lush greenery and stunning lakes took my breath away, and I was always mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings. walking around the area and enjoying the fresh air made me feel alive. Visiting an eco-friendly park in a city is a unique and fulfilling experience. The park is designed with sustainability in mind, promoting green spaces, recycling, and conservation initiatives. It provides a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, with plenty of trees, flowers, and water features to enjoy. Additionally, there are often outdoor activities and events hosted at the park that focus on education and environmental awareness. It's a place to relax, unwind, and connect with nature while learning about the importance of preserving our planet's resources.

NUVALI’s vast topography is surrounded by flourishing local communities, shops (Vista Mall, Ayala Malls Solenad, S&R, Landmark, and Landers), schools (DLSU Canlubang, Miriam College, Xavier University, etc.), sports centers, and hospitals. The food options available in the area were top-notch including Sam’s HK Restaurant especially their Lemon glazed chicken and braised beef, and I enjoyed a delightful meal with my family.

After we had our dinner, we had an incredible experience attending a mini concert of ‘’The Bloomfields’’ at the Vista mall. The atmosphere was electric as the artist took the stage and began to perform the timeless songs of a well known band ‘’The Beatles’’. The crowd was mesmerized, and I could feel the energy in the air. The sound quality was impressive, and so was the artist's performance. They were truly skilled and talented. It was a unique opportunity to see live music in the mall, and I'm so glad I went. Overall, Nuvali provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and I cannot wait to return again for another unforgettable experience.

Catching up with my sisters.

Nagkasundo din sa biglaang lakad. Nagsamgyup kame around 3pm yata? Pero 2PM talaga usapan! Hahahahaha after kumain nagdecide kame magcoffee kasi may isa pa kaming kasama. Super quick na kwentuhan lang hanggang sa lima na lang kame ule. Around 5:40pm nagaya akong mag tagaytay kasi ayaw nilang uminom! 630 ng makaabot kame sa medyo paanan pa tagaytay— ang traffic!!! Nag u-turn tuloy kame at ang ending sa solenad na lang. We had pizza hut kasi waiting eme doon sa ramen.

Sobrang daming kwentuhan, daming thoughts, daming namiss na stupid stuffs, and daming tawa habang nasa car. Nakakamiss maging estudyante. Nakakamiss sila kasama maghapon.
