anyways in a soloq enviroment if your using something that paints well (the short-ranged shooters. big swig maybe. flingza reef lux etc) you should def take like the first 15 or so seconds of a turf war match to paint around spawn that isnt straight out so like. from behind the furthest spot to jump from spawn, anything less likely to be cleaned up from someone respawning and rushing to spawn. this shit gets missed the most and is like an easy 5ish percent that isnt likely to get painted over again unless ur ass is getting handed to you in which case you werent gonna win anyways. tenta missle / booyah bomb / and other painting specials also get the bonus of still contributing further out. I promise you the first mid fight of a turf war does not decide how the match will end but not painting half your spawn will

#if your playing w/ other people this matters way less bc then if ur fuckin. idk eliter noticed yall missed a major spot in the last #15 seconds u can send in ur jr where as in soloq if ur the eliter ur fucked #LIKE when people ask you to paint ur spawn we arent asking u to get every corner we are asking u to get the left flank. #LIKE its sooo weird that theres people saying that in turf war. a mode notorious for only having the last 30 seconds be worth anything #that if you dont 100% focus on winning the first fight your throwing #source: uhhm. splat2n i liked the play a lot of splatfest pro and got top 100 in 3 for NA in the one splatfest my buds werent able to play
