Okay but what if I believed in 'Angel-hasn't-actually-come-in-years' supremacy?? Huh???? What then???
I'll tell you what then. It means when he admits that to Husk, the cat makes a bet with Angel that he can change that

I feel like... Perhaps... Arguing that transphobia is defined by murder and that anything other than murder doesn't even matter... May NOT be conducive to fighting for trans rights.
Like... people want the right to exist as they are. They want to have access to hrt and surgeries and prosthetics. People want access to clothes that fit them and reflect how they want to be seen. People want access to medical care (eg. Getting screened and treated for sex-based forms of cancer can be impossible if you have the "wrong" sex listed to receive those tests). People want to be respected and treated well. People want to not be sexually assaulted and beaten and abused. People want to have access to housing and jobs, and the protection to not lose those things for being trans. People want access to shelters for homeless people or survivors of domestic abuse. People want name changes.
Acting like all of those things don't matter because at least they weren't murderered by an individual (and instead die of suicide or state violence, or survive and suffer) isn't okay.

For the prompt game:
"How did we even get here?"
"Dunno, but maybe we should've read the instructions, huh?"
With Adrino
CW drug use. (well, kind of. they're sort of fantasy drugs that teleport you but may or may not have other effects. and if they ARE drugs they're like shrooms, so nothing addictive)
---
"How did we even get here?" Nino groaned, rubbing his forehead as he slowly pushed himself up off the floor.
Frankly, Adrien thought he was insane for attempting to sit up at all. Adrien didn't even have the energy to reach up and catch Nino's glasses before they slid from his face; instead he was fated to watch them bounce just out of Nino's reach. The world spun like a top, and the patterns on the rug scratching Adrien's cheek weaved together in front of his eyes in some sort of intricate dance--one that made him certain the threads were trying to seduce him.
(Or maybe he was high? Could magical ghost mushrooms get you high?)
Nino wanted to know how they'd gotten here. But Adrien wasn't even sure where here was.
"Dunno," he said shakily. "But maybe we should've read the instructions, huh?"
Nino's hand froze midway through fumbling for his glasses, eyes bugging out of his head. "There were instructions?"
"Uh...no." Adrien forced a laugh. "Just a joke."
Adrien looked away, stomach churning. Because nothing about this was funny. None of it made any sense at all.
He'd only wanted to bring his girlfriend back from the dead. So why did her ghost seem dead set--pun NOT intended--on setting him up with his best friend?
---
Thanks for the ask!! 💜

The lil corner of the Good Omens fandom that I generally see is getting more and more into publicly declaring that That Theory I Dislike Is Bad And People Who Ascribe To It Should Feel Bad, and I don't know if it's really new, or if I was just lucky enough to generally be missed with that shit the last four years.
Different people's brains work differently, which means they will notice things, form interpretations, maybe come to extremely firm conclusions, all different from each others'. Different from mine, different from yours.
I get that some people think that they have the brain which produces the Objectively Superior theories (and/or which can easily determine which other people's theories are the Objectively Inferior ones). I just really missed the memo where Your Interpretation Is Not My Interpretation (And That's Okay) was dragged out back and fucking shot.
Anyway this blog is an "I may not agree with your theory but you may trust that I won't publicly heap scorn upon the very idea of having it" zone if anyone was wondering.

(Takes places when Lloyd is a kid.)
Nya: You know, people say I'm pretty charismatic.
Lloyd: Well, you always have a smile on your face.
Nya: Thank you.
Lloyd: What drugs do you take?
Cole: Lloyd, we’ve talked about this. You can’t just ask people about things like that.
Lloyd: Why not? Nya does stuff like that all the time?
Cole: Because Nya is the most charismatic and can get away with it. You can not.
Lloyd: Fine. *angrily stomps away*
Nya whispering to Cole: It’s coffee and DayQuil.
Cole: I can not say that I am surprised.
