I feel like... Perhaps... Arguing that transphobia is defined by murder and that anything other than murder doesn't even matter... May NOT be conducive to fighting for trans rights.

Like... people want the right to exist as they are. They want to have access to hrt and surgeries and prosthetics. People want access to clothes that fit them and reflect how they want to be seen. People want access to medical care (eg. Getting screened and treated for sex-based forms of cancer can be impossible if you have the "wrong" sex listed to receive those tests). People want to be respected and treated well. People want to not be sexually assaulted and beaten and abused. People want to have access to housing and jobs, and the protection to not lose those things for being trans. People want access to shelters for homeless people or survivors of domestic abuse. People want name changes.

Acting like all of those things don't matter because at least they weren't murderered by an individual (and instead die of suicide or state violence, or survive and suffer) isn't okay.

The lil corner of the Good Omens fandom that I generally see is getting more and more into publicly declaring that That Theory I Dislike Is Bad And People Who Ascribe To It Should Feel Bad, and I don't know if it's really new, or if I was just lucky enough to generally be missed with that shit the last four years.

Different people's brains work differently, which means they will notice things, form interpretations, maybe come to extremely firm conclusions, all different from each others'. Different from mine, different from yours.

I get that some people think that they have the brain which produces the Objectively Superior theories (and/or which can easily determine which other people's theories are the Objectively Inferior ones). I just really missed the memo where Your Interpretation Is Not My Interpretation (And That's Okay) was dragged out back and fucking shot.

Anyway this blog is an "I may not agree with your theory but you may trust that I won't publicly heap scorn upon the very idea of having it" zone if anyone was wondering.

#idk if this is a Thing but my body just doesn't respond well to painkillers #as in i have to take a Huge dose in order to feel anything and if it's a heavy pain like toothaches #i just don't feel much of an effect #so like now when i have really intense tooth pain im taking a Lot of painkillers just to have some relief #pushing the limit of the daily intake #and then OFC my stomach feels ravaged by the pills #i went to a pharmacy today to ask for help but they were like nah go back to your dentist #while i was like. they told me it would hurt this much just give me relief #and they were like. well you're taking the max possible dose #she made it sound like 600mg of ibuprofen was a magical drug that should cure me while that pill has never done anything to me except #slightly relieve me of fevers in the past #long story short does anyone have tips for me to keep my stomach a little bit okay #my posts
